Subject: Why not ride
"That doesn't nake sense I would expect him to take his horse if he ws so much in a hurry. Unless he got off and then the Drow jumped him." Brianna tries to puzzle it out for a bit then gives it upo being more of a doer than a thinker.
Brianna quickly goes into waryness mode especially after the Drow altercation and the fact that more might be around these parts. The difficulty was there were bads ones and apparently good ones so it made it doubly difficult.

"Anyone not want to move on?" asks Brianna and wait for any replies for a moment. "If not let's move away from here."
Brianna mounts up after letting the dragonette curl up round her neck. andshoulder. SHe nudges the black stallion back to the road they had been traveling on. "Until we get to somewhere safe lets make it a plan to try to stay together. I don't want to lose another one of you mysteriously."

Subject: Time to move
Brianna tides over leading Roscoe's mount. A nice solid looking gelding weel built strudy. Take this horse. His rider seems to be missing and until we find him you can ride this one. I don't know his name, I can't remember hearing it. She dismounts and give the dwarf the reins while she shortens the stirrups. SHe has to resort to wrapping the leathers of the stirrups several times to get them short enough. Here give this a try. She bends down and interlocks her hands ready to give the stout dwarf a boost up into the saddle.
If he acepts she seems to be able to boost him up with little difficulty. "Alley oop." she says as she gives him a quick lift upwards.
When Flame's weak voice comes to her she flys to him almost in the midst of her upward toss of Higar, pausing only long enough to make sure Higar lands in the saddle and not over the horsse's back.
She gets to him as fast as she can but seeing the limp wing she calls for Lorae. Lorae, Flames is injured."
Getting to the small stricken red dragonette, Raiel bends sown and gently touches his head. "Take it easy, I am here and Lorae will come and heal you."
"Someone keep watch for me for a moment until I can get Flame attended to."

Brianna blinks several times to lear the motes of dark and light from her eyes. "You could have warned us you were going to do that. I ,personally, would have cleared the area. Next time give us a word of warning." Come on we need to find some olce that is secure and sort this stuff out. I wish I knew what happened to out magic user. Brianna mounts up on her big black stallion who tries to take a nip at her as she does. She punches him in the neck "Flame," she calls out, not seeing the diminutive dragonette anywhere." There is a sudden concern in her voice. "where are you"
Turning tothe other she asks. "Have any of you seen him since the fight?"

Subject: Time to move
Brianna comes back with the horses. She had Roscoe's horse in tow but no Roscoe. I found this horse near mine but no sign of his rider,. I checked about but the trail was to obscure for me to tell what might have happened to him.
Brainna starts to catagorize weapons and other goods both familiar and unfailar. "I think I need to know what is what before I decide. For me it makes a difference. If these things are magic they need to be in one group and the ordinary stuff in another. Then we need to groups weapons together, bow as such, long blades, daggers and knives. The biggest problem I have is doing it right here. Some of those Drow could come back or someone might come looking for them. Can we bag it up for now and find a safer place to sort these all out? That will also give our Magic users and chance to figure out some of this stuff. (My number is 69)

Brianna shakes her head. "Lorae is a magic user. Where the other one is that was with us I do not know. He was on his horse as we moved forward. "Lorae if you would sheck these out I will go get my horse and look for Roscoe." Brianna heads back the way she enter this area to find ShadowBane grazing by the side of the rode with her red mare alongside of him. She then looks for Roscoe who was last seen closing us when she jumped off to investigate the screaming.

Brianna helps to strip the dead Drow of anything of value. Weapons, pouches, jewelry, and other bits and pieces. One wears a cloak that strikes her fancy and she takes that too. She still hadn't been able to replace her clothes left behind in Peradyse. Days spent traveling overland off the beaten track and all to short sojorns in any villages or towns precluded her ability to do so. She touches the blades only by their handles. be it sword or dagger. Unfortunately their bow were to short and she really didn't like crowbows too much.--they took to long to reload. to be more than a one use weapon in an ongoing fight.
She keeps a wary eye out on the surrounds even knowing Xuor is out and about somewhere out there. IT was always the problem in woods and these were especially thick. You just couldn't see very far. She wished for the waide open spaces of the grasslands where you could see for miles. But that was not her current reality. This was so she remained alert to the sounds and hints of movement not explained by her campanions actions.
"What next?" she asks to no one in particular.

Brianna returns to where the woman is standing. Is the child okay? By the Great Mother, it was wrong of them to seize a shild like that." Only after she insures the child is okay will she acdept healing for herself
"I do thank you for the offer of healing." I would appreciate it so that I can be free of the posison."
THese darkskinned elves puzzle her. There were nothing like them where she had come from. She was curious about what their diffeneces were, but for now she kept her curiousity in check.

"I have been worse. However this woman says Logan and I have been poisoned and has offered to heal us of it. She says she is a preistess of Elistraee, but I do not not that Diety."
I am at a quandry. We have helped her and I can understand her williness to help us but I am unsure of his Diety. Logan who is Elistraee?

Brianna checks out what is going on before she will accept the woman's offer. Listen and looking for the others. "Call out if you can. Does anyone need any nelp?"
She scans the area for any more fighting or listens for any sounds of fighting.
Lorae, Xuor,." she calls out at those she cannot see immediately in the area. "Who else is here?" she adds as she remembered hearing a bellowed battle cry that certainly came from no Drow throat.

Brianna whirls around looking for foes, though she does not move from her self appointed position. HEr eyes blase with the light of battle. She seeks to honor the Warrioress with her skills and the Mother by her protection of motherhood.
SHE spares a glance and a word to those she protects. in elvish for she know not the language of these dark elves. "I will protect you."

Subject: Standing Firm
Brianna keeps to her self appointed task of keeping the girl and her protectress protected using her fighting skills. Hone is battle, and sure of her skills Brianna keeps the Drow who attempt to retake the girl back from her as well as she can. Her twin swords Thuunder and Lightniing flashing about her. she moves around agin to just not give those with missle weapons a standing target.

Subject: Sword Dancer
Brianna keeps her swords and body moving the weaving a pattern to keep the area clear before her. She has not been badly hit but she has been hit several times and that could cause a problem if the battle continued for a time. She becomes a bit more wary and moves about in a random pattern to make it harder for those targeting her with range weapons to hit her from their unseen positions.
She is a good melee fighter, a toe to toe sort of fighter, with her size and strength she has always been a formiable foe.

Brianna moves around where the girl is, basically staying to protect the her and her knife wielding protectress from any attackers. However Brianna is too experience a warrior to stay in exactly one spot. She so she around so that she does not offer herself as a standing target for tose same attackers.
Brianna keeps her twin swords weaving to heep the Drow away. Her attacks are again left, right, left at any Drow who closes into her range of her reach

Subject: Forward into the Fray
Brianna keeps the girl and her knife wielding protectress at her back while she clears out the nearest foes to her Again she uses her twins swords with a right left right attack this time. The extra length of her personal longswords give her an advantage with her tall stature and long arms.
Her targets are torso and head now--trying for more debilitating blows with the idea of putting them down fast and moving on. She exerts her power and if she is lucky enough to put one down in one blow she will continue to cleave into the next. With the dappled light that speckles the forest floor reflecting off her blades it makes them flash radomly with an eye-dizzing pattern of light and dark.
(Use Power attack, two weapons fightinig, improved two-weapon fighting, and two weapon defense.)

Brianna has her intended targets in sight. One now had been clearly shot in the head by an arrow the other unwounded. Good shot she thinks as she plans her attack. Her first strike would be at the unwounded drow dragging the girl off and then her second strike with her off handed weapon would be the one that was wounded. Brianna strikes at their arms planning to cripple them and their ability to hold the girl. Lighning is in her right hand; Thunder in is her left.

"By Anaterrrana, They will not take that girl." states Brianna and she begins to move forward to flankthe Drow. that were dragging the girl away. Her intent is to cut off their retreat and face her in battle which would necessitate them letting the girl go.
Drawing her twin Longswords "Thunder" and "Lightning" she advances on the retreating group at full speed. "Flame" Do what you can."

Brianna keeps searching about her using all her senses. Gounding the flying terror did rather cut down the long range sight but it had been a trade off with the turnults of chattering squirrels, and squawking birds.
"Well Flame" she tells the diminuative dragonette. .until you learn how to move silently though the forest you are not going to be able to go scouting again. I would like you to notice how silently the wolf moves--without causeing a disturbance."

Subject: Quiet as theFall of Dapple Shadows on the Forest Floor
Brianna just nods and then gives her stallion a gently scratch on the neck and makes some soft "shushing" sounds. The stallion's stride lengths but it is low. Her red sorrel mare follows her without a lead line and is unencumbered by pack or tack. Both horses seem to walk more quietly.

Brianna piercing golden eyes looks the diminuative fragons whirling regold eyes. "Yes.....what?" She demands clarification from the minature terrorist of forest denizen. She is beginging to understand his wily ways and seeks to know she is going to have it her way not his in this matter.
"You will give us away to everything that lives in this forest with your noise. That could mean the Dark One too. HE is not fond of you. Not fond of you at all. You stold the Orb of Dragon Control from him. HE will never forget."
Just so Flame will not side track her she repeat. "So, what do you mean by saying Yes?"

"Flame!" Brianna calls out loudly once the dragonette appears from his terrorizing o the local forest animals.
"Come Here!" Brianna is NOT pleased with the racket caused by of the Dragonette terorizing the various denizens of the forest.
"You are making enough racket to wake the dead. Cut it out. You may go hunting only--in silence. No more causing all these unnecessary noises and disturbances. So you here me?"

Brianna watches Xuor ride up to the front. She is armed with a bow an arrow nocked and held ready. Her hands are not on the reins yet her stallion travels the road unerringly.
WHen he is close she comments, "It is Best that you are up here with your companion. I am more accustomed to the grasslands and plains of my home that these thickly wooded forests.
Long range scout is not really possible in these woods. If we keep a short range range and cris-cross left and right as we scout we should cover the area well enough without getting us cut off from the rest." Flame and your Draug can roam at longer range with their abilities better."
