Topic: A Local Legend - An Audalis Short Adventure
Subject: Isilmiri

Before returning to village

After leaving the monastery with the information they had gathered and a good nights rest, Isilmiri discusses with the others several ideas.

That Sea Druid whose hints sent us back to the Monastery for this information most likely knows the answer to this whole problem. But was constrained by who and what he was from telling us directly. However much he cannot say there is a answer for this problem otherwise he would have never bothered to meet us and mention it, That I am sure of.
SO One we need to learn as much as we can in the village so I say we return there, take rooms at the inn, and make ourselves useful or at least friendly to the villages.

IS any one here have bardic skill? That would be very useful. An exchangeof stories and such We share ours with them, and hopefully get stories in return. Pin pointing on perhaps the story of the villager and the woman of the sea. hopedully.

I know this is not our usual sort of adventure but we started on this and I would not be comfortable leaving it without helping them. IT may take some time but most of us have long lives and in the overall scheme of things it is not much to give up to solve this.

On another note I do believe we should check out the wizards tower as well

Now

After procuring rooms the adventures decide to search for the Wizards tower and find what they could in the way of information or goods that could be of use as winning over the villagers was not going to happen overnight..

Digging ing the shifting sands finally rewarded them with the crumbled foundations of what they hoped was the tower of the wizard.

Isilmiri moves forward using her elven senses to try to locate any signs of an opening, or secret door, in what was left of the tower.

"Our best bet now is if he had something below his tower that might be intact. There is not much above ground here. and the winds and the sands could have moved it quite far away."

Subject: Katsumi Released

When the earthquake started Katsumi moved to the corner of her cell and waited them out. She could feel the violence tremors and hear the cracking of the stone itself and then the sounds of the stones falling about her. Some of the broken blocks fell into her cell making an opening to the next cell. She watched but did not move until the tremors and sounds died away.

Rising from the corner she move cautiously to the opening the earthquake had made in this cell that had help Katsumi. Her golden eyes reflecting a flickering of torch light that came from outside her cell. She had no hope that she could get out of this prison but if there was a way she would try to escape.

At first the swirling of stone dust and debris in the air clouded her sight but quickly enough began to settle so she could make out a few things in the room she enter through the opening from her cell. A few torches burned and some candles. There were barrels over against the wall, a few chests, and cupboards, some fallen into the broom others with their doors or lids askew. Katsumi moved to the candles, snuffed them out stashed them into her pockets. She checked out the various containers for any useful items. Taking down a torch for now and carrying it with her.

Carefully examination reveals a cupboard where, surprisingly, Katsumi found her equipment that she had taken from her. She gathered up her few belongings and reequipped herself. She snuffed the torch in her hands now and tucked it in her back. Behind her she heard someone else enter the area and turned knowing it was not one of metal encased figures that appeared occasionally with what passed for food in this place.

Katsumi turned towards the newcomers and waited with the comfortable weight of her tetsubo held across her body, in both hands,n She would wait and see—as long as she was not acted against first.

Use the one Katsumi and not Katsumi 5. The one with black hair black eye markings and gold eyes. Sorry for the confusion.

Now is the posting thread up yet if so I can't find it.

It is not much of a picture I just couldn't find a black hair Golden-eye character except this small one on another site with avatars. Don't like the black eye marking or unkempt hair. I will sent what I have in e-mail and they try to photo shop it later to get something closer to what I conceptualized her to be.

Brianna could smell fresh spring grasses that grew so abundantly on the plains. The smell of warm horse flesh along with the fresh green smell and the scent of apple and orange blossoms. The feels of the prairie the smell of the wreath of flowers of the first flowers of on her head as she and the other young girls rode to the Spring festival of the Maiden. This was her season The season of births of the new foals of the Amazons prized horses for which her family was famous for.

Only that world was gone her mind reason but her emotions held onto the olfactory and visual sensations as a drowning man clings to a piece of wood in a spring flood.

Brianna signed deeply but the memories faded despite her wanting them to hold them for awhile longer. She open her eyes that she did not know she had closed. Reality was sometimes disappointing by what it wasn't. She nudge Shadowbane lightly to move him off. HoweverIt was not his fault she had sat on his back totally submerge in a fantasy she did not want to end.

I got problems with that system too, though I do like that every class gets bonus feats at every other level. That is way cool and I am going to instigate that in my D&D games as well

It was a D&D questioh about how Weretiger is added to base class. I have aprogram that sort of does part of it but not all, I don't know which book contains the were- templets?

So in a sense it is a general topic since there is not D&D fourm thread for information.

and yes it is a possible character for your game. Never have done on thought it owuld be interesting. but not if all I have when I end up is two class worths of hit points.

When making a Lycanthrope addign classes of animal and then adding normal classes on top, do you get hit points for the animal class levels in addition to class levels?

Subject: Version vs version.

There is good and bad in each version. Too bad, WoTc couldn't keep the good things of each when they wrote new ve3rsion, but they didn't. back to old tales in the real world that fey creatures, and magics were affected by iron.in first ed MUs could use organic armors, padded, hide, wood, cord, leather and mithril, Iron and steel aror were taboo becauswe of the iron content going Well, I have got most of those books too. But, one of my probvlems with 2nd ed by the book is the racial class limitations. 9elves can't be paladins, and clerics) also there is less variety possible in character development.

Back Post

"You can mend it? well then thank you vary much indeed. I have not seen a worker of mithril yet.

Brianna cranes her neck to try to see what Soronuum does, then realizes that she is using magic again.

"Useful talent that is. Mothers had magic tutors one after the other to try to teach me magic. she had chosen a Mage to mate with in hopes of getting a mage-gifted child. But it didn't happen, I just couldn't learn any spells. she kept trying for years. Finally one mage told her I was as magic ink, that it just sinks into me and never comes out, so mother gave up at long last. And I was free to train as a warrior."

Even though I have just about all the books of D&D stuff core and others. I would pay to have E-books of them all. What WoTC needs to do is put them out as E-books after they stopped supporting a version.

"A good enough plan to act on, Driscoll. Anybody with other ideas?" asks Isilmiri. We can set off now or in the morning. Personally can go without rest for some while longer though we have pushed the horses. All we really need is a copy of those two maps, and the other copies of the information we have found."

"If we decide to rest here then we can start off with the sun. Chime in on what you want to do?"

Trillion fell in with the others also curious but not overly concerned who kept the skeletons away form them. That the skeletons did was more important to her. Beside just then Selunine asked who it was so she would soon know anyway. She kept a sharp lookout around the group paying attention to the city that seemed to be totally destroyed as far as she could see anyway. What could have done that, the skeleton army? Only who lead them. There had to be a controlling intelligence. Unfortunately she knew so little about the local area, or any of this area, who were their enemies? So many question so few to ask them from.

Trillion had questions and after Selunine asked who was keeping the skeletons away and got her answer Trillion asked. "Did you see who destroyed the town other than the skeletons? Who are this land's enemies?"

Brianna looks at the woman who had hugged the tree. "What were you doing?" she asks curious aboout those actions while Lorae cleaned up her wound. She winced a bit as she pour the vial of spirits she keep in her bags for such things.

"Waste of strong spirits," she grits out as her side errupts in fiery stinging pain. then there was the flush of cool water that did not quite take away all the heat of the spirits, Lorae satisfied she had cleaned the wound out lays her hands over Brianna's wound and it begins to heal the rent flesh.

"WIsh my armor were so easily mended. and my tunic. I have no extras. I am going to have to remedy that when we get to the nest village."

Brianna walks over to Shadowbane standing guard over the red mare and mounts up ready to ride. She turns back to the directions they were heading earlier, "On to the next village. About how far wasy did you say?"
