"Well, We can drink to that once we get to an inn, my treat for the first round," Brianna says with a quick but genuine laugh. "If I didn't say that Jeril would drink the place dry and I would have to foot the bill. Oh, and cold he drink," her voice grew quiet. I wouldn't mind to pay for his drink, if I could. Brianna pauses. He is gone to the Great Father. That is who he believed in." Brianna turns away to looked and the downed red dragon. "He would have enjoyed this fight too." Brianna ';'s mind wandered for a bit down paths n her memories. reliving the good with the bad.

Bask to the present:

"Flame is Precious okay?" Brianna asks changing the subject away from the melancholy memories.

Brianna also watched Soronuum reach out for the great oak tree, scarred and charred by the ferocity of the juvenile red dragon. Great gouges were torn through the bark that had been stripped away entirely by its huge claws.

And that was to solid wood. Which reminded Briannan she needed some attention too.

"Lorae, you seem to be the only one not busy healing one thing or another. I could use some of you abilities in that direction," Brianna remarks as she pushed back her cloak to reveal bloody mail torn and a ragged red wound in her side. She squeezes it to make the blood flow to wash out as many toxins as possible.

"Really, Zara, is this the way to speak to, me, your mother?"

"Oh, bother." The form in Oko's arm began to blur and shift, and, indeed, Oko soon found his arms full of a beautiful lady of lusty proportions. Her bright golden hair rivaled the glints of a newly minted coin of pure gold. Her was creamy gold, flawless and molded over the perfection of her body. She was dress in a gown of golden gauze that left nothing to the imagination.

"I guess you can put me down, but you do not have to. My daughter is a little too bossy for her own good and seems to have too many morals to my way of thinking."

"Now Zara introduce me to your friends," at that point she was looking at the two males in particular.

Isilmiri listened carefully to what Driscoll had to say muchof it is what had passed through her mind as well all but the walking away form the village without helping them.

"Quite clear and concise Driscoll. and I concur with most of what you outlined as possible aactions, except you last one, We came this far to find out more to help the village now that we have some information to work with the task in not so difficult that we should just abandon it. Other thatn that I totally agree about fining out more about the collapsed Wizards tower and that magical sword he once had. Finding the Druid of the sea might be a little harder. He found us and the sea is vast and unknown below it surface to us and largely beyond our abilities to explore it true reralm. below the surface."

When Perrin and The Abbot appear. in the library.

"Just the people we want to see to talk to. We have discovered a few things of interest about this village with the aid of the good brothers you sent along with us," Isimiri trying to be dipolmatic, rose up and gestures for the two to join them at the table for discussion.

Isilmiri lays out what they have found, offers Driscoll's and her own thoughts including finding names of Sea Goodesses, checking out the wizards tower and especially finding out if possible more about this young woman from the sea who was burned as a witch at just about the time when these first incursions of these sea creatures, except for leaving the village to it own devices. Then waits for any comments from the Abbot or Brother Perrin.

LOl, I take a day or two out to do taxes, mine and my mothers and DM hers (I was frazzled because I lost a bunch of stuff I needed at end of March in a computer virus attack that left me to wipe out my hard drive. and hadn't been able to replace all the data. so I ended up frazzled for days and finally filed for an extension for us al)l and look a what is happening here behind my back.

Good ideas Ayrn. I too think that we need to investigate that wizards tower once we are back to the village, but finding out information especially of the names of a sea deities is where we are right now that and any other information that might be available. Almerin will have to tell me that what we found basically what there is to be found. and there is no corroborating stories that give more information her in the abbey.

Brianna takes a couple of deep breathes before anything else. Keeping near the dragon to make sure it was not shamming its death. However she did not think so but caution prevailed. Devon question caught her attention. She exhales, “I think he is okay, if not Flame would have demanded healing for himself. However this new one is a mystery. Flame is not from this world. He can through with me in the vortex with Lorae and others. Now here he has found another like himself. Brianna shuggs and walks over towards Devon slinging the great ax on her belt and picking up her long sword and sheathing it. She continues walking with him over towards Soronuume.

Thank you both all the magic support, couldn’t have done it without all of us doping our what we could.. That lightning helped too. We did pretty well, all considering.” She clapped Devon on the back heartily, but not too hard, and gave a smile to Soronuume, without the hearty back slap. Her face radiated with satisfaction and pride in a good battle-a victorious battle, which was even better. It was her way, the way of a warrior and follower of the Warrioress, an aspect of Amaterrana.

“The dragon’s hide is worth something, I always wanted a pair of red dragon hide boots. The teeth and claws, and their blood all have value to certain people and Lorae has a special bag to put all that stuff in, I do to but not as large as hers. Meat’s rather peppery, very spicy hot that is.” Brianna paused and looked thoughtful for a moment, “Oh, I say, we have a couple of extras from our fight with the drow. Would you like one? They are really useful, even the ones from this world.”

“Let’s join the others for now I will get Lorae to take care of the carcass. She can shrink it down and pack it way in stasis, hopefully before any of its kin show up.” Brianna strode over to where the.

Reaching the others she draws closer in interest. “How is the little one? ” Brianna asks Alexandria. "Precious that is," remembers Brianna, the name Flame had called out several times.

She saw that the small party of people with the human on the pillar seemed to be moving away through the skeletons that would not approach them closely. She was sure what spell could do that but she would find out later.

IF they are headed towards selunine she will let them continue if not she will call out. Aime more towards there making herself visible and pintng to where Selunine is. Selunin has cast spells to take out some of the skeletons coming her way.

Trillion moves forward to aid here. Drawing on her powers to cast a huge fireball on the creatures.

“I am glad to be of assistance to you, Sir Roddrick Hughes,” Bronwyn replies softly as she turns to lead the way back to the keep. It was a odd twosome that made its way across the baily and into the keep. Bronwyn looking like a child next to the huge knight.

Bronwyn had been surprised but how much noise the clanking armor-clad knight made while outside the keep and once inside it was even worse. The sound reverberated off of stone walls not yet decorated with any softening tapestries or wall hangings. His armored-clad feet clattered loudly against the stone floor.. Her errant thought was that there would be no creeping around in the dark staying hidden with such a one.

“You know a silence spell just might help you if you ever needed to move about in the forest.” Bronwyn remembered how quietly Elendil has moved in the forest that night. If I can learn that spell I can make a scroll.”

Subject: Miriele'Isilfea

Back at the fight
Miriele circle around after they killed the last hobgoblins to make sure no more were hiding out. What she found was a body of a hobgoblin out in the woods which surprised her. They had dropped all the hobgoblins and Worgs back where Petraak, Ula and the others were gathered. This one had not obvious wounds, nothing but a trickle of blood at his mouth, but he was most definitely dead with his hands on his own throat, though. That was weird to be sure. She quickly examined his body for any valuables but found nothing but his weapons, bloodless.

Miri called in Stormy and had her pick up whatever scent he could in the area and track whatever had killed the hobgoblin. Stormy lead her back to where she had come from. Even as she came through the brush with Stormy she hear an unfamiliar voice, that strangely rolled her r's

Miriele stepped through the brush with her near black shadow. The huge she-wolf moved straight towards the strange woman with a low growl vibrating in her throat.

~Cat~, was Stormy's clear thought. ~Hold~, came Miri's thoughtful reply.

Miri walks over towards Petraak and the Druid. Stormy moving with her but Stormy's attention was still on the cat woman.

After introductions were made they made camp a ways down the road well away from the bodies.

As Petraak said he would take the watch for the night, Miri shook her head. “I will share the watch with you, I am good at night watch and Stormy here makes it really two of us on watch. I trust her senses even before mine. It is best that we all share the watch, so all get rest.”

"Jonathan perhaps you will entertain us with your musical talents this night. Music is always appreciated."

The night passed quietly with no unusually occurrences. Miri took time to write of the days journey in her journal as she had for every day since leaving her home.

Journey Day 2

As they continued there journey towards the temple, several things caught Miri's attention as they traveled following the directions they had been given with no real problems, though what Miri noticed as she scouted ahead and behind that the trail behind them seemed to be closing in, hiding their passage. She also had a feeling they were not alone but even after sending Stormy out to investigate nothing ws found. it was not easy to convey the feeling to Stormy who could hunt if she knew what it was she needed to hunt.

Their next encounter was one of the strangest Miri had ever been involved in. As they had stopped and rest for their noonday meal, or coal rations and fresh water, the whirling of wings and the swirling and forest duff was kicked up by the mighty wings of a young Green Dragon who confronted them. Miri kept still and made no overt moves of any sort. She listened carefully to the story that unfolded by the Dragon.

Miri was left with a lot to think about. She was not sure the whole story was told and what was not told might cause them problems later. It left her with some uneasy questions. There was the old man who wanted them to go to the temple, some strange old magician that had tried to create and Dragon Lich. After what the young Green Dragon had told them, Miri had a strange thought cross her mind that left her extremely unsure about this whole adventure. The awful thought she had been to wonder if those two old men were one and the same. However she did not share her worries with the others. There was just too much she did not know. But she wouldn’t forget the thought, though she filed it away for now.

Miri settled for keeping Stormy out hunting for anything weird or threatening. It was all she could do for now. that and watch all around the group ahead, the sides as they traveled. expecially their back trail.

"Did anyone else notice what is happening to our back trail?"

Subject: Bronwyn Introduces Herself

Bronwyn was still walking across the bailey from her evening stroll when a rather large figure in gleaming plate mail entered the gate and rode over to where Xaris was working with the new recruits. She paused to watch him as he dismounting and went over to Xaris. She could not exactly hear what was being said but she watch him clasp Xaris’s hand if a firm grasp as the two seemed to be introduced themselves to the other. Well she thought that was what they were doing. She began to move that direction just wanting to know what was going on. Okay, she was curious she would admit that at least to herself.

Bronwyn hears Xaris say, “But you probably should go see Lord Bart, tell him that you are here and I'm sure a proper position will be picked out for you. Lord Bart can be found further in the keep, I'm not sure where he is right now though. My name is Xaris by the way. "

The steel plated warrior begins to turn back to the keep.

“Perhaps, I can be of assistance to you, good sir, ” came the clearly spoken, well educated and definitely a feminine voice

When he turns around there is a rather diminutive human woman, youngish, wearing soft pants and tunic of a country lass with sturdy walking shoes though she wears a a long sleeveless vest that hung nearly to her ankle, open in the front, with many pockets over it all. A strange mixture and with the manners and speck of one well educated, it was totally at odds with her attire. She may be just 5 feet tall or a bit but not by much.

“How do you do, I am Bronwyn Lynnebrooke. May I assist you in locating Lord Bartholomew. The dinner bell has just sounded, but he is punctual and is probably already waiting in the hall.” .

She kept an eye on Xaris, who had turned back to his recruits, she sighed softly. Ever dedicated to his self-appointed task was Xaris. “Good Evening, Xaris.” She adds not wanting to be remiss in acknowledging the gnome’s presence, “And you Captain Thomas. May I remind you the dinner bell has been rung. Your recruits need to clean up before their meal.” She gently hinted that, hoping that Xaris and Captain Thomas might realize they need to do the same as well, though she would not say that out loud. Men put up their acks sometimes when reminded of such ordinary things. So she hinting at what should be is the best way to get men-folk to do what is right. Her Grandmother had told her that many times.

She turns back to the warrior, “This way if you please.”

On the way back in from her evening visit to Buttercups grave Bronwyn crosses the courtyard surprised to see the diminutive snowy gnome out practicing with the new guard recruits, they were young and inexperienced farm boys or boys from the city, she had met their captain briefly the other day, he seemed to be the only had any real experience.

Ah, well the young had to start somewhere. Which is what she was trying to do.

She sat on a bench and watched, not ready to return to the keep. Though she thought after dinner she might brew a few potions. She had set up her alchemical lab the other day and was ready to make some now.

The bell for dinner rang just then and Bronwyn rose to go clean herself up from her walk before going to dinner.

Completing those two scrolls had buoyed her spirits.
