Topic: Garayon - Reign of Darkness
Subject: Siliwen

As Alacran ordered them to fly he turned to go out to whatever forces had been gathered against them. Panic would do her or her companion no good. She would not give into to it. Panic was a weakness. Decisive action was need and so Siliwen speeds up hereps to the room she had shared with Alea and she flies into the room. Grabbing up her pack she stuffed whatever was abount into it. A fleeting thought entered her mind that this was taking precious time ando she decided that it was something she would never again not be fully prepared to fly at a moments notice.

Siliwen races out of the room and scurries down the steps as fast as she can sprinting all the way to the Stable. Her mare whickers at her appearance looking forward to her usual morning treat, but not this day. Siliwen slips on the bitless bridle over mare's head and slips on the saddle blanket and her saddle as fast as she can. Hoever she takes the time to cnch the girth up and secure it. It would not doer any good if it was to loose. "Sorry, my beauty we must fly this place.”

Siliwen ties her pack onto the saddle tightly and moves to mount her mare who is smallish in respect to her kind but Siliwen is too so she still has to stretch to make it up into the saddle. Siliwen tucks the amulet inside her tunic and checks the ring for direction.

"Alea did you said ride the other way? How about we take off at an angle so as not to lose ground?"

She turns to the stable man and flips him a gold. "Trouble comes It would be best if you wre not here until it leaves. This should compensate you. Take the day off and be far away." She wheels her mount to orient it at a right angle to where they need to go and the closests to the nearest heavy cover of a forest. Hoping to get our of visual range of whatever is coming.

"This way for now," she calls out noitsure of her path as she had not been before, not just because of the ring but also because what Alacran had told them. If they had been chosen they would do their best of that she had no doubt.

Inga keeps alert wyws sweeping the area she is to cover. Ranger teams were effective when everyone did their part 110 percent. and so she did just that. No talk, no chatter, no questions right now. Blake was the expert and this was her specialty. Treating the members of this team wer Inga's specialty. Each to their own..

While Blake was busy Inga's job right now was to make sure the area she was given ws secure and to remain alert for any intrusion. She in turn depended ont the other's doing their jobs. THe lieutenant to lead. Blake to handle the computer stull Kane to keep the sharp eye on everyone and make sure they are on their toes. That's the way it worked.

The reason you can't tell if it is real butter or not is that even our real butter has been treated with color dyes plus we are so inidated with fake foods such as spenda for sugar, magerine for butter, dheetose disquised as snacks (all good gammer fare) That we don't have the slightest idea what real food tasted like except raw vegetables

Why doesn't water run uphill?

Subject: Loriel

Loriel waited with the unconscious form of Artanis, still pray andh hoping that she would live through this horrendous incident. She had already figured out how she could get Artanis safely moved especially since they could not carry her over the bridge as that would most liekly stress the bridge far too much. If she used a blanket or a sleeping roll she could put Artanins on it put her and they could pull her across by ropes. She might even use a door to put her on and that could be slid over the rungs of the ladder with artanis one it.

Loriel stood up from Artanis's side when she heard Kas call . I'll be back Artanis help has come. Loriel left Moonshadow on guard while shewent out into the hallway .

"She saw that the bridge was up again and relieved about that and quicly went to it. "Kas, I need a blanket or sleeping roll......" here voice trailed away. All she saw was Kas and her horse. No one else was with her. Surprise and a bit dismayed she asked, Where are the others? I am going to need help getting Artanis on a blanket or bedroll so she can be moved."

Topic: Drakehorde: Daggers in the Night
Subject: Tianna'sTroubles

Tianna wrists are rubbed raw but pauses just after loosening the ropes on her hands. Her wrists had been so tightly bound they tingled as the blood rushed back to flow freely into her hands and fingers. It tangles so hard it hurt so she flex her finger a few times trying to speed their return to normal. With the .ever so slowly she curls bends her knees so that she can get to the ropes n her ankles.

It seems to take forever to make the incidentally small moves to position her ankles near her hands so she can work on the knots. Having her hands free so that she could use her fingers and wrists makes the next part easier except that she is hampered by the fact that she has to do it behind her back with minimum motion. But strong, deft finger continued to work tirelessly to accomplish her task she has set herself. It just takes an agonizingly long time. She is neither completely free nor complete bound. Patience and perseverance she has learned and now must apply and resist the urge to hurry.

Tianna fights fan impulse to hurry the process. Step by step she frees her legs keeping her ears attuned to what the goblins are doing and if any come closer. She only risks a couple of stolen peeks through slitted eyes glance of the goblins. If the boy was going to have any chance to get out of here with her, she had to get them both free. She only bemoans the fact that she had not yet gained an animal companion yet. She could use a nice rat or squirrel to chew on the ropes or a sharp toothed ferret. Or better yet a wolf would be great to fight with her when she rose to get free or even a great bear that she could call to attack the goblins. But she had nothing that would come to her call. Tianna put aside the wished she had. If wishes were fishes, no one would starve.

Once she is free completely she leaves the rope partially around her feet to make it look like she is still ties. But she could kick out of the loosened ropes in a flash. Next she concentrating on getting as close as she could to her unconscious companion her freed arms behind her bask over to the boys ropes she starts to undo those on his hands first. It is easier. Again it is a slow tedious time to move herself into position to accomplish this next step. Tianna flexed her fingers to fight cramping that threatened to hamper her efforts to free the boy.

"Sucurion, Protector of Elves hear my plea." she mentally prays. "Let me free this boy and help us both to escape these foul goblins this night." Even as she prays she keeps working on the rope bindings holding the boy. Occasional giving him small shakes to see if she could return him to consciousness. Every step she tkaes is done surrepticiously and with great watchfulness.

Siliwen reaches out and takes the amulet and puts it on as she continues to listen to Aclarn adn

Siliwen was surprise to hear Alacran denounce the old woman as an agent of the Dark One. But the more she thought about it the more likely it seemed to be true. But who else had been that close to her but her friends. It made more sense than believing her friends did it or that this whole event was a lie built on a lie. Because the old woman helped Riddle when he was paralysis by the Nas’ir poison she seemed trustworthy too, but evil works insidiously

Reaching out her hand to Billy’s hand Siliwen touched it touched it gently. “Be easy in you mind. . We were all taken in but her actions. Alacran bears the mark we were told to trust. . If the message we received when we were first brought here is at all true then he is a part of why we are hear and not someone who stands against us.

She looked at Alacran “you could have shown me that mark the first time you know.”

“I also think we need throw away the salve she gave us against the Nas’ir poison. I am afraid to use it now considering what Alacran said. Sir, do you have anything that is good against the Nas’ir poison.

And I think we need to get going a quickly as possible from here if they came here to intervene I’ll bet that soon some one will come to check out what has happened. I would like to be well away from here by then.

Dae understood his need for independence, his debilitation due to his condition must be dragging at this pride; this she understood.

"Okay then, here is my bag of holding and stasis." Dae put her bag down on a chair near his bed. "There are hot meals in there waiting for you when you want them. Just hold hte bag open reach in with one hand and say meal 1 and it will pop into your hand. Eat it at your own schedule I will not enter in here again unless you call, and I don't expect you will. Every four hours is what Moraglin say your body will wake you and demand to be feed. But do eat when you need to. You............." Dae's leaves the rest unfinished "Good night," she finishes and turns and leaves him to his own devices.

Dae walks outside the door and shut it after her resetting the wards. He was a proud man who was at a low ebb and she would not push him any further by doing for him. It dimished him in his own eyes and that was perhaps the cruelest thing to do to a man who was proud and down.

Topic: ~*Whom Gods Annoy*~
Subject: Raiel

Raiel follows the old priest of Magnagoth to his apartment curious now about the cloaks figure with the halberd and the aura she felt from him. So much so that she unconsciously stepped further to the right as far as she can on the stairways and lags a step or too behind to keep the man in sight.

Raiel wore simple ranger’s attire proudly. She had earned her was into that most prestigious coterie. This was one of her first assignments outside of the Silverwood Forest environs. To honor this she wore one of her best outfits for this meeting in dark greens with lighter green embroidery. Fine leather pants and jerkin beautifully dyed and with vines and foliage embroidered at the neck and hems of the tunic and sleeves. A rich green silk blouse worn under the jerkin was likewise embroidered. Her soft boot made little sound on the stone steps that led upwards. Her cloak with of the Silverwood Rangers on its breast was slung over one shoulder leaving her sword arm free and more importantly her bow case and quiver.

When the intruder entered the room making his demands Raiel did not ask question. Everything she needed to know had been revealed. The box was important, there was an important matter concerning it and the figure in the doorway demanding the box was evil. To attack a in temple of a good god was an evil act and to kill innocents was evil. A ranger’s job was to hunt evil in the forest and lands that they ranged over. Evil was to be destroyed. That basic tenant of her closely held beliefs was not changed by the fact that she was in a temple, in a city.

Even as Raiel swings her bow out of its case and draws two arrows, she takes a five foot step toward the box to protect it. Swiftly she notched the two arrows at a time. Then she drew her bow with long practiced ease aiming even as she does and fires the first many shot at the intruder. The twang of the mighty composite longbow is heard even as she reloads two more arrows. Raiel swiftly notches them,. aims and lets them fly as one. Again the taut string of her bow twangs sharply as it is released speeding the arrows on their way.

is the NOva shield a known item or is it your creation I it strange that it bites the wielder as well usually it only does everyone but--just curious.

Loriel was rattled but the flash of energy that blew out of the room Artanis had entered. She got up when it passes and made hre way to the door and looksed in. All was quiet Deadly quiet. The smell of charred flesh was unmistakeable.

Loriel didn't know what happened expcept the orcs lay dead or dying and so do did Artanis. Loriel hurries to Artanis's side to check for sign of life. she took out one of the class globes for light. A look of horror flashed across her face as she saw Artanis stretched out on the floor charred sflesh and clothes fused together. Loriel took out her dagger and held it under Artanis's nose Artanis to see if she breathed. Loriel didn't know if anyone had healing spells, potions or scrolls left so and didn't know how long it would take help to get here. Loriel was almost afraid to move her so she worked as best she could which was so little in the face of so much grievous injury. Perhaps it was better she was unconsious at this point.

GOing to the door she calls out "Hurry Kas, she is alive but I don't know for how long she is badly burned."

Loriel prayed for her to keep living. "Whomever Artanis worships please hear my prayer. She is a good fighter staunch and steady please let her live."

She then set Moonshadow to guard the door and goes quickly to make sure the Orcs are dead if not she finsihes them off. She is careful not to move Artanis the least bit, not sure how much life is left in her and not wanting to cause her further injury.

Loriel also looked for water, clean water but really did not expect to find any any here, but she looked. Hopefully Kas would rouse someone to come and help her.

She did see the melted coins and gathered them up for now stowing that and anything else of Artanis's in her own empty backpack. She also gathered in the shield but as she does she noticed that the flashes of light were gone from the crystals.

Subject: Reminder

First of all question. in AD&D it says elves can't be paladins or clerics. Ar eyou keeping to that limitation or opening it up so we can be any class.

IF so:
Brianna will play Amiri Morellen. Cleric 9/Mage 9 elf
DM will paly Asheera Loremaro Fighter/Paladin elf

IF not:
You need to let me know as I need to come up with something else and so does DM.

Also To be a cleric 9 mage 9 I need 225,000 for cleric and 135.000 for mage. Clerics have very high class cost in xp.

I would need total of 315.000 to be C 9 Wiz 8
or 285,000 to be cleric 9/mage 7

Loriel does not understand the words but she is quite sure it is orcish. There are two at least in that room and perhaps one more but she was not sure. SHould she risk moving on or should she figure out a way to reduce their number.

Loriel moves caustiously taking extra time to move and check the walls and floor as she goes. Continuing down the hallway keeping an eye and ear out on that door.
