Silvara made her way into the small 10x10 room testing each step. Finding another doorway out Silvara and Zoranna move doe and lon hallway the turned to the left she counted some 25 paces until they came to a door tarnish by timed. It could be coved in gold leaf or even solid gold but this was not what they had come for. Silvara was focused on finding the Lantern of Truth that Zoranna had come to find. Later she would have time to look about
Silvara stopped to study the runes on the door. The candlestick, the book and the open eye that stared at them were all symbols she had seen before in this place.

Subject: 5:00 update
Yes I have seen it at 5.6 then 5.8 once station had it listed at 6.6 haven't seen the 5.4 but I turned it off. Luckily only some moderate damage to a few budildings in Anaheim and in Satan Ana Canyon at a car dealership. No major injuries hear of yet. Only felt one major aftershock.

Well we just went through a 5.8 magnitude earthquake.. I was rerst on my bed when it hit. It started with on quick moderate shake and then lets loose with about 15 second of strong shakes. Things feel off the top of the TV. Vertical blinds were swinging and door chime were ringing for a long time afterward
We have only experience feeling one moderate after shock but many smaller, unfelt shock are occurring every several minutes according to reports.
I had just mentioned to Joanne yesterday that we hadn't had one in a long time.
Hmmm, perhaps I should have just crossed my fingers and kept my mouth shut.

Subject: Rhiana--Mind Games
Lt. Rhiana of the Romulan Star Navy might have been bored by being isolated with the remaining four Romulan survivors of the destruction of the Cerberus, who had only the clothes they were standing in and a bunk a piece, but she wasn't She didn't need her PADD even to while away the time. Since they were securely shut behind a force shield, they were told it was for their own protection, Rhiana just went into herself and shifted through her memories and thoughts for some interesting idea that she could pursue in the meantime.
Rhiana's eidetic memory,in this case, was a good thing though something it proved to be a problem. She first thought over the improvement in efficiency she and ostensibly Shiarrael had made to the cloaking device. It came to her that with some more work they could perhaps push "it a bit further as well. But any real improvement she was quite sure had to be a complete reworking of the device.
In essence its design had be improved several times over. Rhiana put her considerable mind to work on just how it would be possible to redesign the whole device so that it could not be detected even by using tachyon particles. Now that would be a significant improvement.
Rhiana's mind took hold of that project and began to systematically breakdown and remake the cloaking device.
In this state she was relatively oblivious to the passage of time, the needs her body or mundane activities.
The arrival of tables and chairs while a nice addition was ignored.
It would be quite a coup if she was able to completely redesign the Cloaking Device so that the Star Fleets use of tachyon particles to find cloaked ships could be defeated. All of that while she was incarcerated on a Star Fleet ship as they housed and feed her.
The thought was delicious indeed and she laughed out loud when she contemplated it.
"Ha ha" Rhiana'a voice rang out and she looked up suddenly disturbed by her own laughter.
She looked around and saw the table of four chairs in there isolation area.
"When did they arrive?" she asks to whoever is there listening.

Siliwen joins the rest of her party but she holds Color Spray redy to through at the largest number of the. While not overly agressive neither did the swarves that now held them at the point of their crossbows show any friedliness. THor did the talk first. HE called on the Dwarves to realize they were a good group themselves. Of course these dwarves may well bu at best neutral and with good fortune perhaps of a good sort.
There was just so much they didn't know about this place and its inhabitance. Riddle was standing ready for anything. THor was poised too. Billy she know would react it things went bad.
After Thor finished, Siliwen stepped forward next to him.
Siliwen looks to the mature red-bearded Dwarf. Her clear voice has the ring of sincerity, "Who we are exactly is not important nor is where we are from. What is important is that e were sent here to do what other have failed to do thus far. The Dark One knows of our existence and had done much to try to stop us. Alacran himself, helped us to get this far so that we can carry out our mission here.
"If we are successful it may be that the power of the Dark One can be balanced and the evil he does to the land and people halted."
We are here to try our very best to accomplished this task hat has been set for us. To fail will spread the Dark One's power further than just this land."
"If time is of importance then let us leave this place. If I stand long on the ground THE Dark One can find me. This would do no one any good."
"Beside we meed food and water for our horses or they will perish. It is my hope that you can provide us with at least that."
"Will you help us?"

Moraglin arrangers her bedding, pulls a comforter from her bag of holding and stasis and arranges it all. She starts to undress but pauses after taking off her outer robes. Her figure is clearly evident in a dress that clings tightly to her torso with a deep cleavage but flowed away from her body from the hips down. She is curvaceous in all the right places. She turns back to both men and suddenly there is a area of darkness the engulfs her bed about 10 feet in diameter around it.
"Sorry no peeking and I won't be able to hear you either. So you will have to come into the darkness to wake me."
All you can hear is a yawn starts and then be abruptly cut off.

It is so hard to be highly intelligent with nothing to do but follow the Chief of Security around.  it is what I planned to do with Valberg. To save him from putting a security crewman on me.
In all seriousness I would hate to lose you and your interest ing character in this game.

Okay, I am a bit confused. Regardless of what others have done, Brianna wanted to report on the mans behaviors thorugh proper channels. i had posted some "Assumed" actions for Stan about being a a pod by himself and trying to take off in it by himself. It made logical sense to me the player that he would want to be alone in and escape pod so I did not fell I was stepping on any toes so to speak.
Eol, if you didn't want that particular scenario I wrote up to be fact why didn't you say something then? And why did you tell me to remember the situation for when I was interrogated. I did remember and reported the incident.
With that scenario as I had written, Brianna would report him to the proper authorities for what she "saw" happen. I didn't want to just reporting him to NPC and make up my own reactions so I use Rhiannon to pass the report along to appropriate authority.
So what now?

"Don't waste you wand on my I have a belt of healing and can take care of my wounds myself. but thanks for offering.'
Silvara uses one charge of her belt to heal herself. The nice thing about it is that it will recharger itself and be full again tomorrow. IT was one of the best investments she had made before setting out adventuring.
Silvara looks into the room to see what she can from in the area lite by the torch.

I can make that work just fine. For the Romulan, Rhiana, a thick slice of warm yeasty dark molasses pumpernickel bread slathered with real butter and orange honey. For water, the effervescent artisan Spring water from Rigel 4 with a twist of lime. for Brianna warm raisin scones with Devonshire Cream and Arrowhead Spring water.

Out sprinting the swarming slithering scaly serpents successfully, Silvara slows down to take stock of her situation. Actually, they just stopped suddenly and slithered away but she could still hear the sound of the sliding across the stone floors. Silvara has had multiple bites as had Zorana. She felt the sting of them from almost every inch of her exposed flesh.
What surprised her as she was assessing her current condition was the brush of coolness against her face yet there was no breeze in this place. She had a hunch that this was something else. This time it brushed through her hair and across her cheek, though there is no tangible breeze in this hallway. Further ahead on the right, the door creaks, and shifts open but an inch, and a cool waft of air passes the women in that direction.
“Zora, did you just feel something cool touching you like it did before when we were in here?”
Silvara has never suffered from flights of fantasy, daydreams yes, but not actually physical sensations. Her life had been rather grounded in the practical and the real but she was not going to ignore this second occurrence of the cool touch and the sense of something or someone moving by. She turned in the direction of the door that opened down the hallway.
“We are coming,” she calls out and beings moving towards that just opened door.
“Zorana, I say we go through that door.”
As she walks she treats the worse of her bites, with salve and bandages.
When she gets to the door that opened she put the first aid supplies away takes up her sword in her right hand and the torch in her left.
"Time for careful attention," Silvara states and she opens the door wider. to look inside. the glow of the torch illuminates sound of what lies beyond.

Geim takes the potion out of his pouch and gives it to Thondrek then runs to Alyssia. When he gets to her prone body he cast Delay Poison then gets out his healing kit to see if he can't counter this wyvern's poison first by washing out the wound with copious amounts of water. even digging into the wound to wash any lingering poison out..
"If anyone has antitoxin I need it for Alyssia.

Subject: Player wishes to know
Okay, I, the Player of Brianna am rather shaky about what the proper procedure is to make a Complaint/report about about the conduct of Stan Stowbrieski.
1. Who would I file it with? And since I feel it was very important to get this done quickly what personnel should I lay the complaint with?
2. Since we lost our MACO CO and I am just an NCO what is proper for me to do. I came up with something but it is only off the cuff.
Also I am not sure of what the charge might be. Endangering Star Fleet personnel or what? My conplaint basically is that he was knowingly shutting the door on my MACO Team, with him the only occupant, even after I told him to hold the door. Ir was only my diving into the pod and the safety devices to prevent the for closing on someone made it possible for my team to escape. I hope I put that correctly.
Just want to make sure everything is Ship Shape in Bristol Fashion.

Brianna McQueen waited with patience for her pod to be pulled and the team processed. However it was with a hard fought patience. The Crewman, Stan Stowbrieski, who had gotten sick during their sojourn in the pod was transported to sick bay. She had wanted to believe that he was making it up to perhaps get out of dealing with her when they got to the Charon. Not that that was going to happen, she thought grimly. However he got steadily worse and looked a wreck.
Brianna prepped her team before they were tractored in. WE will be thoroughly checked out by security and medical. You will comply with all their requests in a polite and respectful manner. If I hear of any problems. the offender will face me for a training session. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, Mst. Sgt.," came the prompt response of her well train team. WE will get through there when we can, then we will have a debrief ourselves.
Brianna knew all of her team well, several had been with her for years. They could poke them or probe them and search every iota of information about them and unless someone was a shapeshifter, they were who they were. However there was that some niggle of possible doubt. Such a thing was possible and it made her uncomfortable.
Brianna lead her team out of the pod into what she had expected, lots of security and medical staff. "Keep the team together."
The first Security person she sees she hails with a call and a wave of her hand. She will step over to them if they do not respond promptly.
"Mst. Sgt. Brianna McQueen, of MACO team Alpha. I need to make an immediate report to the Charon's Chief Security Officer or the Cerebus's Chief of Security, Valberg whoever is available first, and if that going to take more than a few minutes then get me your highest ranking officer in here now." The "now" had two meanings by the tone of her voice the one "in here, now" and NOW, meaning move it."

Valendara whisper quietly to En'Aranthea, "I will use my sleep spell first, and then I have a web spell for a group of them together but I need to throw it when there is no danger of any of use being caught in it. I will cast sleep first then web over the largest group I can find near each other.
Valendara gathers her components for each spell out of her poush and moves into casting range taking all the time she needs to move quietly forward. When she has found a good place within the casting range of both spells she pauses. Hoping that she had not been heard. If somwones attention is drawn her direction she will use Ghost sound and cast the cantrip away form her to misdirection any over curious pirate.
Valendara had put away her fear of inadiquacy to meet this current danger. She had resolved to do her best and that is what she would do. What skills she had she would use to aid her friends. She had carefully chosen her spells to be ones that could possible affect several pirates and lower the odds they face,
In a low voice audible but barely she carefully speaks the arcane words of power of the Sleep spell first.. When she finishes it she cast her spell on the pirates in the camp. Then she prepares her web spell and tries web the largest group of then she can get together. If she cannot get a large number of them together thenshe will target the biggest of them and anyone near that pirate.
"Corellon, guide my aim so this will help my companions to defeat these evil men and bring them to justice."

Rescue operations had begun. They got updates on pods being tractored and brought on board one my one. Rhiana (Ree-a-nay)realized that they had not be among the first to be brought in she had the idea they were among the last ones tractored into the Charon. However before that the Centurion was beamed off the ship directly to the Medical facilities. Rhiana wss glad of that. She had not like keeping the Centurion under for so long.
Rhiana wanted to go with her and tell the doctor what was wrong but she was not allowed to, though she did protest to no avail. "I am the one that has been treating her. I am the acting medic."
"All of the rest of you will be confined to the Cargo Bay," can a reply, "until you are through with medical screening and security clears you.
"That could take forever," Rhiana thought
The remaining Romulans. were let out of the Pod one by one. Their PADDs were confiscated and they were isolated from the rest of the Cerebus's crew and watched closely by multiple security personnel. Rhiana took her clue from S'Talon's behavior who ignored their treatment and went about his business without acknowledging what was being done to them.
It was some while later after Rhiana found a comfortable enough place to sit that the Centurion was brought back looking better than she had been when she left. Rhiana would have loved to have known what they had done to achieve this state. If given the opportunity she would have to ask the medical staff what they used to help the Centurion.
Rhiana's head shot up as the Centurion mentioned erotic Poetry. She shot a speaking look to Shiarrael wondering if she had mentioned it to anyone. With a quickly lift of her brows. Shiarrael shook her head quickly, no.
"I had copies of many of the finest examples of Romulan erotic Poetry and Prose. I shared some of my files with Shiarrael" she responded promptly covering up her small hesitation before replying to the Centurion's question. I do believe that some of them may have been intercepted by Star Fleet security, but they were encrypted with a security algorithm of the 19th degree of my own making.
Other than the installation directions that had be downloaded by the RSN for this operation and some medical and private files there was nothing else on my PADD. Actually they just copied my "allowed" files to a new drive and installed it. The erotic prose and poetry was allowed to remain. I did a deep security scan on to make sure nothing was hidden on it that could be intercepted by others.
"S'Talon also had them all checked out as well before we got them back for Romulan Naval Security, though I just made double sure when it got back."
She gave a quick look at S'Talon as she said that. She liked the man he was solid and staunch. More than that she had also begun to trust him something that is not easy for RSN personnel. You never knew who someone really was. She tired to stay away from the affairs of the Tal Shiar and the Tal Diann. Sometimes it was better not to take sides so one did not get caught up in their altercations.
"S'Talon nodded briskly. "I would have expected you to Lt. Rhiana. A person is responsible for what is on their PADD. Whether they put it there or not."
"Yes Sir," Rhianna replies crisply. Then settled back down to wait.

Geim listens to the various plans that are being offered. Elesarrae announces that she will not run off and leave them to fight a regard action. Malius was ready to make that attempt though. WIth all that the others mentioned they might be possible to take out a goodly number of the enemy headed up the steep oath before they even got to the grassy meadow.
"Meaning no disrepect to you Syl, but I though you wanted to warn your people. I was not sure what you were here for Elessarae."
Well it Sounds like we could hurt them some and make them think twice about following us right away. Brush, barks. branches those we can gather and rocks as well. I could look quick t see if there is a way to start a landslide down on top of them though I don't think we have lots of time but some. After we throw all we can at then. I say we cut and find a different way into these mountains. The dead can't gather information nor find what we have been sent to find."
"Well everyone if were going to do this right get gathering." The dwarf Cleric of Kharox turns to check out the lay of the land above the trail looking for a place that rocks could be loosened and sent down of those below.

You SYlvari could start your run back, being faster than some of the rest of us. You should be able to keep ahead of them. We could try holding them off Since it seems that they have to get up here to get us"
"Your idea about fire ain't to bad. Pine cones make great fire bombs. Easy to start on fire but they last long So does bark of pine and fir trees. A log fall would be nice but it would take to long to stack enough to make it work, Landslide could also work. Get the rocks to rolling and let them do the work for us.
