As soon as Isilifeline entered the tavern the wave of odors assaulted her senses. She almost turned to walk out. Old spilled ale gone soaked into the wooden floor and turned dour, fought for dominance with mingled smoke of fire burnt food and tobacco of many different qualities and scents floated like a cloud in the room. The strong aromas of foods that mingles with those scents as well made the total effect unpleasant in the extreme for the elf. Steeling herself a she starting moving forward further into the tavern itself.
In the back of the room and man gruffly asked them if there was anything they wanted. "Yes, there is. We are looking for a merchant who needs guards. She gives the man the name that Guard had given the. Do you happen to know him or where we can find him? His son mentioned that he could usually be found here."

When Bruno suddenly stopped in his tracks Isilifeline felt her hand leave his shoulder. She took several steps forward to leave th Halfling Barbarian alone. She had gleaned much of his culture in their times of adventuring togeter and knew his reticence to show any emotion. After all he was a man. and in Halfling barbarian culture men di d not show there emotions. She did not even look back but her words floated by with a usical lilt. We are your friends Bruno. Your problems affect us.
"And, Remember my promise. I keep my promises to the best of my ability." She took another step forward and simply waited for his to catch up when he was ready. She took the time while she was waiting to look around. She had been keeping track of who was around them, and perhaps who might be following them. Looking around with a not so casual glance though she what and looked like her eyes were nearly shut as if bored with this all.
When the guard with them spoke about his merchant father, Isilifeline thought it was an excellent idea to join up with the merchant.
Turning to the young guard, "One favor in return. If anyone asks you about us tell them we asked you if their were any jobs available and you recommended we try to get one with you father. Mention nothing else about us except that. We were looking for work and that was all." Her deep purple eye regarded the boy steadily her mouth set. Then suddenly she smiled broadly and said loudly. "Thanks for that piece of information. We will look your father up right away. We could all use a job right now."

Kyara seeing what Ele was doing whip the end of her shain like a whip trying to catch the weapon hand of the guards. IF she can't do that she will try for a loop of chain about his neck. The weaight of the chain helped her to get the chain going at some speed and then she lets it flay at the closest guard.

Isilifeline took the money pouch without a word Her dave set and smooth but her mood was not matched by her face. and started out frowns as Bruno returns to them rather crestfallen, Isilifeline hesitated just a bit when Bruno stayed behind to make his request. What she heard made her brows furrow and her eyes harden She knew, what he had requested, At the Priestess's response come Isilifeline frowns. Certainly this Priestess could understand the Halflings request. Her reply had been curt to the point of rudeness. Bruno had just asked that when they were paid, he would like to take it in information. He had not asked something for nothing. The halfling barbarian were usually blunt and straight forward. But even he would not have ask for a favor. It was not his way. As far as she was concerned her meeting with the Priestess had not left her with any good feelings towards the woman. regardless of her divine connection.
Bruno, We will do our best to complete this task and then you can ask again of another who has some compassion and understanding. That one does not. So not let her words disturb you. We tackle this task, though whether we succeed or not we twill go hunting those gnolls together."
"We will bring you wife home to the safety of your village." Isilifeline promises as she lays a hand on Bruno's shoulder..
Isilifeline juggled the money pouch to estimate how much was in there. Her years of experience made her good at that. But she would check they had got what was promised or someone would pay. She had really taken a dislike to that woman. High position did not excuse bad manners. Of course she knew that was a perspective of her elven culture and upbringing. Oh they had their nobles and and priests and priestess, and powerful magic users, but they earned they right to their reputations just and other earned their right to the things they did. They were much more equal than in human societies. a person what judged by their accomplishments more than for their birth status.

Kyara was was not ready to put the cuffs on until she had satisfied herself that they were loosed enough for her to get them off easily. They also provided her with a weapon if needed. A bit on the crude side but doable.
Kyara just nods that she understand what the half orc was saying, slips on the cuffs and holds the chains near her own wrists to keep then from fallen off her wrists. Whether he could be trusted or not, remained to be seen. This whole thing could be an elaborate ruse that could get them killed while trying to escape. A problem settle for someone they did not know.

Kyara kept herself active stretching out her muscles and exercising her muscles. Their meals were infrequent and the food not fit to feed to dogs. She did not think much of human justice. The days were much the same. little food little water. The only blessing is that they were mostly ignored as well. Then there was a change. Kyara moved to their door and tried to lookout to see what was happening. She couldn't see anything but she heard words that gave her some encouragement that their stay here would soon be over.
Kyara quickly moved out of her cell when the door was open. Kyara waited for a moment before venturing out into the area inf front of the cells, and surveyed the area and then Hieronymus and the small make darkskinned elf. She would not risk talking so that others might hear them.

Ele moves up to the door as the outer door was opened creaking slightly as it always did for one of the infrequently meals or the guard patrol. However today was different. She motioned Kyara and beckons her to come over.
It was difficult to see much but at through she strained to looked out of the small opening in the door that the guards used to look into their cell. She had kept herself prepared, exercising a bit every day. She was eager to be free o this place but she was wary as well. She was desperate to get out as she had to return to those who had hired her with all the information she had gathered.

Ele stayed quiet during the whole distasteful ordeal, she had quickly realized that truth had nothing to do with the "justice" being dispensed in this city, especially considering the animosity she and Arion had already been shown since their arrival.
Offering no resistance at any point Ele recognized that the odds were overwhelming against any attempt to free herself let along the others.. She was a rational woman. Though one day she would find who was behind their arrest and incarceration. She swore that to her Deity. She didn't even bother to guess who was responsible for their arrest. It was fruitless effort with out more information. She was not one to undertake a fruitless effort. There would be a time when she would be ready though.

Several Youthful Socialists talked Emotionally Maddening Almost Totally Incomprehensible Claptrap About Local Legendary Yochlols!!!
Yochlols are fictional demonic creatures in the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. These lesser tanar'ri are handmaidens of Lolth, the drow goddess of Spiders, dwelling amongst the outer planes and being regularly summoned by the Queen of Spider's priestesses to witness sacrifices in the name of their dark goddess, Lolth. The summoning process tests the very fiber of the high priestesses dedication. Establishing a mental connection to its summoners, yochlol scour their thoughts and memories to find proof of their loyalty to Lolth. It proves to be a rather unpleasant experience for all who are present, but the yochlols' connection to Lolth also proves to be fairly useful when a family feels they have obtained something to please her.

Just to clarify the 80 points for stats is not an 80 point buy but 80 total stat points to use to build stats from 0 at a cost of 1 point per 1 stat point you could have stats such as 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 10, or 2-16s 2-14s and 2-10s

Ele is tall for one of her kind. Her family had a long lineage and she was a worthy representative of their that heritage and noble upbringing. Ele took a step forward. "I and my companion were part of a caravan that set off from ********. The caravan was attacked on the road and we two were taken Prisoner but not together. We had been there over a week, perhaps two never knowing why we were held. Then we were finally gather together and taken into what was almost like a nobles audience chamber complete with a raise dais. The mage, an illusionist, sat on it and. These two were already in there with the surrounding guards keeping them under close watch. That high chair was occupied by a dark skinned elf, a mage, s these said of some power and skilled in Illusion."
"I do not know how these two came to that place but the were demanding the release of your daughter or for a ransom to be name. He denied taking her. but she was in his possession and he refused to let her to. With the full defenses of the place we were in. These two had no way of rescuing her at all not with force. If they would have tried they would have died."
"This mage would not set a ransom but he did demand that all of us deliver a letter to you personally. He said it was warded before he sent us off. I would have that checked out before I opened it."
