Isilifeline had been up early practicing at teh archery range, and then working out with some of the instructors with her longsword. She was much better with her bow than with sword or dagger though she used them as her father had, both at the same time. When she had come her she and tried out for the position of Archery instructor. NO everyone was as enthusiastic about being an archer as she was but she knew that some of the new recruits had the ability to become good archers if they put some effort into learning the bow.
Wandering over to where the recruits were gathering she was a silent observer of the on going activities, a tall cloak and hooded figure with the slenderness of her race and their natural grace. She leans over to the head instructor.
"Well there seems to be a lot o young ones this time around which might be good for me. That way I do not have to untrain a lot of bad habits, and hear 'That is how I have always done it'." she mimics a garrulous older man;s voice, "...and that from someone who thinks he knows better."

Trillion support Selenine it was clearly apparent that the woman had been overcome with the enormity of what had happened while she was in her arcane trance. She could well suspect what it was she used to gain such understanding.

What you say is important enough to not miss a word of what you found out. I will see if Mora's parents have something you can drink."
Trillion sat down beside Selenine. If it is the Breath of Melios then it seems he has risen, by himself or through the efforts of others. It is a sad day what such a creature is out and about again in our world.
"There is much left to learn but I know one thing clearly. I must contend against this evil with all my strength and all my abilities without stint."
"I vow this that I will do everything I can to overcome the evil that is Melios and his followers." Trillion speaks her pledge solemnly

Brianna takes up the tall pot and brings it over to Soroluume and passes the pot to her. It is mixed tea blend that Loraw makes up. From her back pack she brings out a folder tarp about nine by none feet Her sit on this it will keep you clothes cleaner. She take the basket of food and starts setting it out on the tarp.

Trillion turns to Achilles, "I do not claim what you found. I just said if it belongs to MOra's parents it is theirs. regardless of the fact that you found it. If they know nothing about it then it is yours to claim."

"I will admit I am curious about the contents," Trillion turns and sees That Selunine has fallen and runs over to her.
She checks her out to see what has happened.

Subject: Trillion's Interest is Piqued
(OOC: orry I was away for Memoral Day weekend. This is in response to Achilles Post)
Trillion hears Achilles call out for a spad. Seeing the item laying across the yard she goes to pick it up surprised at its condition but takes it over to Achilles.
"What did you find? Perhaps it belongs to Mora's parents. You should ask them first." Trillion mentions as Achilles digs up an old box.
Trillion was willing to use magic to open it safely but her just went about it thr old fashion way. Trillion peers over his shoulder when he opens it up.
She saw the pendant and it was a fine piece but it was the book that held her attention. SHE tries to decipher the symbols on the book which just may be a titlt or perhaps runes of protection.
"Why don't you let me detect magic on those things before you touch them."

" Ah Food, for us. I get tired of my own cooking, and a bit of this and that gives us lots of choice so good thinking." Brianna stands up from her hunkered position near the fire. and walks over to Devon to get the food her had brought.
"Let Lorae know too that Precious seems to be a lot better and your rabbit came in handy to feed Flame and her. And, if you hadn't shown up with the food soon we would have eaten the other one ourselves."
"A keg of ale! Great." Brianna enthuses over the appearance of the keg. Her eyes sweep around the camp at the three other there now. Xuor had gone out for a but but would come back when he was ready.
"We thank your for delivering the food and for the keg of ale. How is it going in town?"
"Ale for me too," pipes up Flame's sibilant voice. "Yum" The crimson dragonette flies over to the small keg of ale and lands o it.

"We will have you out of here very quickly now Isilmiri reassures the young boy as she finished healing the boy. Then I promise we will get you to your mother. You have been very brave now but you got in this problem by being careless. Promise that you will be more careful."
In Elven she tells Tamuril, "Tamuril, you can hold him while the others pull you up. Then drop the rope back for me. I will climb out afterwards. Tell them to make sure to get the boy to his mother, I promised they would."
" DRISCOLL, Isilmiri shouts out to the others around the wwell. Are you ready to pull Tamuril up? She will carry the boy up with her."

As Tamuril got ready to descend into the well. Isilmiri stayed with the girls until mother and child were reunited. "May, I heal her of her injuries." Isilmiri asks the Melanie's mother. Melanie did not look badly injured, mostly bumps and bruises and scrapes.
A Cure Minor of two should work wonders for the bruising and scrapes. With permission given, Isilmiri prays for her Deity's divine grace. It never cease to thrill her when his power flowed through her.
Isilmiri pray a silent prayer that the child who fell to the bottom of the well was not hurt or badly or worse ws dead. SHe fervently wish that to not be the case. The mother who had been watching the children her own and a friend's would be devastated if hers was saved and another''s were lost. She knew she would be in the same situation.
"Whay don;t you just Stay here with her, Madam. Your child needs you right now and will be working on getting the other child out as quick as possible."
With that Isilmiri rejoins the others at the well. When Tamuril calls out for a healer, she leans over the well.
"I am coming, Tamuril" Isilmiri calls down. Switching to Elven so as not to alarm the mother and the others she asks, "How is he?"
Isilmiri quickly strips off all unnecessary gear but her dagger and then swings her leg over the rim of the well. She grabs the rope securely and lowers herself down

"Yes, I see the aura of lingering magics on this place. There is one that is of abjuration and Transmutation that I think ws a Hide from Undead, and the other near the damp spots about the fields is Conjuration/Creation and I think it has the same feel of what is left in Badon, but to a lesser degree.

Subject: Katsumi.
Katsumi had but her whole (normal) strength her efforts to bend the bars but to no avail. Miliani tried to ram the bars with the horns on her head as if she were but nothing budges.
Miliani then suggested someone pick the lock. but Katsumi had not idea how to pick a lock a goat. Aurora went off to find a guard with keys that would be nothing bu luck to find one dead and the living would not easily give them up.
Katsumi stopped the so far fruitless attempt on the bars and turn to concentrate on the tones wall of his cell. With luck perhaps some were weakened in the quake and she might be able to break through to the old man. She set to work with vigor pounding on the stones right at a junction of mortar.

Everyone fled to below ground and except for we Amazons most stay for many hundreds of years there. elves dwarfs, humans. We were the first to emerge right after the Devastation, The grasses and the insects were the first to return. They sustained us and our herds of horse herds, cattle, goats, and sheep that we lived on. The a few flowers near the creeks and brush came back and bit by bit the trees too. Generations of my people cleansed the land with the Great Mother's guidance.
"Then the other came form below, the Humans elves and some of the dwarfs, though not the dark elves and some of the dwarfs that stayed deep in the mountains s and hills."

Brianna lonks over to Soromuume when she aks. "It is a beautiful night, is it not?"
""Yes, it does seem to be a very nice night." Just then the fulutter of red orange appeared form the kanpsack Alexandria had been carrying with Precious inside.
"Looks like the little one is feeling better too."
She says as she finishes setting up the Lorae's tent.
The fire already laid in a ring of cleared earth. Brianna takes a tripod from the pack and sets it up over the fire and after she fuills it with water.
"Anyone else like a mug of tea?"
Brianna brings out the two rabbits that Devon had taken and starts cutting up one in to manageable pieces for the dragonettes--especialy fine for the smaller Precious. Using a couple of big oak leaves she makes two piles of meat and carries one over to Alexandria.
"Here is some rabbit for Precious. I will give the rest to Flame over there.. So she can eat in peace."
Brianna went over towards Soronuume and sat down and leaned back on her arms looking up into the night sky. If she forgot that she knew none of the constellations in the sky and and that she had not been born or raise under these particular ones, she could enjoy the simple beauty of the starlit skies. But that was hard to do/
"I look up at those stars and keep trying to find the Maider Archer or the Dove amongst them , but they is not there--or rather here in this world."

THe glance towards Badon showed the brilliance of powerful magic still lingering there. She is forced to look away from it, so that she focus pn the source of the faint aura of the area.
"Selunine, there is something about this place." a faint aura, that I have not yet identified, perhaps you can?"

Subject: Need for a Healer.
Isilmiri moved along with the search party as they head towards the well. Aldagen leads the way following what is for him a distinct trail.
As they approach the well there are no children is sight, Isilmiri hopes are now that they are elsewhere. Reaching the well first Driscoll looks in and then shouts back that he has found one of the children in the well. He leans over to pul; out the first child. The child sobs her story to the concerned adults.
Driscoll first offered to go down but then Tamuril mentioned she was lighter and could see in limited light. Isilmiri concerned more with immediacy of action did not bother to add she was even smaller and had better low light vision. Because Tamuril's skills should be enough to do the job.
Isilmiri helped betting Tamuril over the side and lowered down the well. and then waited with the others.
When Tamuril called out that she had found him but he was injured and asked for her. she stripped off unnecessary equipment leaving only her dagger in its sheath and tied a rope on herself passing it off to those above, (or whatever we tuied the rope off too) and started climb down..

"Ah, Venerable Old One, you my have told us the truth had we asked, but is sad to say that you protesting your non-evil status would not necessarily mean you spoke truly, especially if the truth might mean we would leave you in that cell." Katsumi pronounces sagely.
"However since you are not evil then let me see what I can do with those bars"
Katsumi steps up to the cell and sticks her tetsubo between two bars and using it like a level she put her full force and weight against her it trying to bend the bars enough to release the man form his cell. Her muscles bunch under her efforts, as she tests her strength against the iron bars. SHe tried to focus herself on this one task but is not yet able to bring to bear the degree to attain ki focus, not yet anyway, SO not is is a matter of strength, determination and persistance.

Trillion felt better as she heard the more normal sounds of the forest fauna as they travel to where Mora was leading them. None-the-less, she was on edge form the strange occurrences in Badon, but the nature and the wide spread destruction.
They finally reach the farmhouse. Mora moved forward and called out to her mother and father. Trillion hung back and examined the area, going so far as to cast detect magic and slowly turn around surveying the whole area. horizontally and vertically.
When she had started out on her journey of discovery of this world did she never thought it would prove to be so complicated by strange occurrences.
If she sees nothing out of the ordinary them she will move up towards the farmhouse and introduce herself to Mora's parents.

"Cole, since you offered to go back to the inn with those items, pick up our horses. We can cover a greater area on horseback. Though, I will keep these copies of those journal entries separate and secure and the potions." Isilmiri folded her csopies and placed then,;y deep into her pack with the potions.
Isilmiri gave one more quick look about and then headed out of the tower basement. Her mind now on where missing children might be found. Why her mind settled on the old well, she did not know but she brought it up, once she got outside.
"Did anyone check around the old dry well?" she ask the innkeeper once she was up on the old tower first floor.

"Lorae, go ahead with the others. We be fine. If you could arrange for meals from the inn, we would appreciate that much, not that we couldn't come up with something in our packs. And a couple bottles of good wine, or a small keg of cider." Brianna requests of her friend.
"Also, some raw meat for Flame and Precious." She turns to follow Alexandria out to their horses and mounts up on her stallion. She gathers the red mares lead. "It should take us long to get a nice little camp set up. I wouldn't mind a nice sleep under the stars strange though they are."
Devon then pipes up, offering what was left of the rabbits he had taken yesterday for the dragonettes pleasure.
"I am sure they will enjoy the rabbits, Thanks Devon."
Brianna had looked forward to a night at an inn but supporting her companions was more important that personal pleasures.
