I got a bit confused.

I will see if I can make sense of it and edit my post.

EDIT: It would help me if we put our character names as the subject of the post.

I'm looking forward to gaming with you all as well.

I'd like to take this opportunity to greet myself into the game and to also comment on your character name DB, loving the Viking/Norse reference

EDIT:
I must actually admit that I used the name generator on the inn and Gloin was the name that came up.

Now I know how strongly he links with the LotRs I'm not so keen on playing that name as it conjurers certaint expectations.

EDIT 2: Not that a dwarf with a big axe and a throwing axe dosen't remind anyone of Gimli anyway.

Do you have room for a new player?

I'd be interested in joining if you do have room. I've got a character ready for submission.

Subject: What about the pirates?

A few responses had followed his own, spoken and quiet. Van was scrutinising him and what he had said, he'd even nodded slightly with his second statement. The knight Van announced his intentions as wishing to join him and made the obvious point of this being a lot of people to rid a house of some goblins, but it was wise never to attack without overwhelming odds, it helped to stop casualties.

A true mercenary, Dracone, had changed his mind, not to rid this man’s house of goblins but to make money. Then Matthias joined the conversation, he was a righteous soul as he asked any thieves to step back and not include themselves. What a question, Efen had only know of thieves a few months but he was sure that if any were present they wouldn't reveal themselves, thieves probably didn't share Matthias' sense of honour. Lastly a second mercenary chimed in saying that as long as he got paid he'd do it, he made no promises about nothing being broken as it was widely known goblins like to break stuff.

The little man then spoke again; these goblins were not just goblins but pirates. Suddenly the potential danger rose as there would be a fair number of them but they must be punished, pirates are the scourge of the water and desecrate it as they sail. No pirate would ever dare sail near the Frozen Coast because he would know this, but even away from the Frozen Coast the ocean was still temple to the moon goddess as pirates would be punished. He kept talking but Efen had stopped listening, as soon as the man took out the map he walked over to his side and looked at it unfolded.

”I’m in. The defilers must be dealt with.”

Sir Van had been saying something before he had butted in, he hadn’t been listening to that either.
Imagine your devoutly religious, you would sacrifice your life in place of a priest of your faith, and then someone brings a dog into your temple, lets it do its business on the altar, and then walks off. That’s how Efens feeling, that’s the equivalent of piracy in the eyes of a man of the Frozen Coast.

(OOC: Please replace any names with the appropriate names, sorry, I got a bit confused with the names. I'll put my characters name as the post subject, it would help me if everyone else could follow suit.)

You get one, it's named fred and will eat you if you don't tell it something every 20 minutes. Sometimes I just eats you any way though.

I wish my xbox 360 would start working again so I can continue playing on Red Faction Guerrilla which has to be one of the most addictive (and best) sandbox games because of the ability to smash or explode anything and everything (because it uses real world physics, the stress system is soooooooo cool )

EDIT: And the game, all the control and everything else has to work perfectly. I'd also like a cold fusion generator to power it and the house.

Tic-Tacs, I don't know what Altoids are.

Would you rather play an imp or a leprechaun? (Assuming stats can be provided for a leprechaun)

I've got Eofara's history mostly done, just waiting on some more info from Tek before I can finish it. Just holding onto in until I get this info in case it needs changing.

I'll be getting a description written this week (Monday hopefully)

Still haven't got the backstory and description compleatly finnished, I've a very good idea of what Éofara is going to be like but just haven't managed to get it onto paper.

I think it would, unless you actually met a sparkly vampire in game, but you may be able to get away with it depending on how I describe my character.

It's probably best to keep to in character knowledge and assumptions.

NOTE TO SELF: Avoid words 'sparkly' and 'pale' when describing Éofaras skin tone.

The little man had explained the situation to them, goblins had overrun the man’s house and were, as Hundover was just pointing out, most likely trashing the place or currently flogging everything they could find. Efen had never heard of the man before, or his profession but he guessed it had something to do with the sea, but this problem of being broken into was relatively new to him. In his community on the Frozen Coast everyone knew everyone else, they worked together so wouldn't steal from each other and generally most creatures avoided the area not because it was well defended but because it was hostile, the only way to get to the tribe safely was by sea and pirates would never dare attack a waterbender from the water.

"I'm willing to help but it would be suicide for me to go alone. Gold and possessions mean little to me, all I would ask for is if you could provide a bed for a night and food, lodgings for my pony as well."

Efen looked around the group, not pleading them but, inviting them to join him, he didn't even look at Van as the man walked off. It was obvious for anyone to go into a goblin overrun house on his own, let alone someone so pathetically armed and armoured as Efen was, and he knew that. Once his abilities had risen it would be different but for now he was simply a healer, a lower cast of the only society that mattered to him.

"If you trust us to not damage or steal anything then we can come to some agreement, otherwise you might end up without a home tonight."

I have written out a small section of sample text for my character.

He's a Mith’Ganni

Nature isn't about harmony, it isn't about balance. It's about survival. Nature is brutal, bloody, unrelenting, but most of all nature is cleaver. You think the wolf hunts in a pack for company? They hunt together to survive, the weak are left to die.

I could never see the beauty of the world like my brethren. I can see is struggle and death, that's what nature does, it creates the illusion of beauty and horror. The plague was the best thing that could have happened, now only the strong will survive. I will survive because I am strong.

Can you please provide me with the stats for Mith’Ganni please so I can get messing with a character sheet.

EDIT: I'd like him to be a Ranger
