OK, that's good.

I agree to that plan, we may have to change it a bit depending on any upleasent surprises Aryn may throw at us but I agree.

I'd like it if we could do a little more RP where we are but we can always do that by PM and backposts.
OK

It still doesn't explain why a ST would be escorting a prisoner into a hanger.

Imperial security is tight, they would always want a ST with civillains in the main hanger to make sure they don't get up to anything. But so long as we get in the hanger and grab a ship quick it shouldn't take too long.

The difficult part is getting in the hanger, once were in I don't see why being noticed is a problem, we can always lock the hanger door.

No matter what our cover will be blown as soon as we collect the frozen agent, I say we get in using whatever plan we decid on but go with the flow once were in. It's rash but I can't see any other way to do it.

Hako'ib enters the droid shop and seeks out it's owner and asks to talk to her in private.

"I need to have back my armor, the suit you said you said you'd keep safe for me."

I think you should edit your last post to read:

I LVE THIS PART OF THE GAME.

But that's just my opinion.

I like the parts of games where we don't play into the GMs traps but it doesn't look like we'll be doing that any time soon.

OK, well on thinking again I believe that our current disguises, a prisoner and two dancers won't get us into the hanger.

How about Ara, as a ST, is escorting us into the hanger so that we can collect some goods. The crate of Corellian rum.

The crate is Karras, Ithiria is her hand maiden/servant and Hako'ib is her slave.

It's a more plausible reason for them to be on blue deck, Kara has come to pick up a delivery escorted by her hand maiden/servant, Ithiria, and has brought her slave, Hako'ib, to carry the crate.

A safe, you shouldn't have mementioned that.

I can't decide if Hako'ib would try to break into it, take a stab at Imperail Loyalists when he has a chance to run off afterwards, or if he'd just considder it too far out the way.

As normal it would seam that Reralae has perfected a plan, for the groups information my character has an encrypted comlink so would be able to send the signel on an encrypted and unused wavelength.

If were all agreeing with Reralaes plan then we have only one thing to considder, where to place the bomb/explosive.

I'd suggest in the room/bar area in the loyalist lounge or in the corridor just behind. This is beacuse it'll provoke a bigger and more ungent responce from the STs but beacuse in Hako'ibs eyes an afilate, perticularly a loyalyist, of the Empire is not an innocent.

(PS: Google spellchecker is busted/not working with Mozilla so spelling may be less then perfect)

Subject: The Plan

Now you've pointed it out it's obvious, why would 'civilians' be in the maintenance corridor?

OK, so that part of the plan is out.

We have explosives, but would they be strong enough to blast through a wall? It's a quick plan, and very simple so very little can go wrong. As you said the stormtroopers are a problem, we'd be entering the hanger through a hole in the wall that wasn't there before.

If we could however use it as a decoy, plant the explosive and draw the stormtroopers away from the security center and hanger then we could sneak in under the confusion. But they could always lock down the hanger so no one gets in or out.

An alternitive is a stright out assult, we tos a few stun grenades into the security center to put the stormtroopers to sleep then burst into the hanger guns blazing.

All action, I was hoping I could do some RP by PM with you Aryn with the owner of the droid shop. I left that gap so that you guys could RP a bit without the scoundral in the room, sort of comment about him and such but never mind.

I'll post up and I have come up with a plan, I've drawn roots on the map if your interested but basicaly Ara will be going by the hallway to the hanger in disguies and will be taking our feline friend with her as a prisoner/person to help in the hanger. They shouldn't have a problem sneaking past the guards in the security center, Hako'ib and Ithiria will take the mantencent corridor past the back Imp Lolayist place before entering into the corridor and sneaking past the security center as well. Once in the hanger one of us, the most computer adept, should go about hacking the doors to permanently lock them and the rest of us find the frozen agent (of cause hako'ib will be looking for the corellian spiced ale in reality.)

It's only spitballing but it should get the ball rolling as far as plans go, if it all goes bad then we have 3 stunners, a looker and pistols.

(Sorry about the spelling, I'm not on my own computer so it doesn't have google spellchecker and it won't let me use any microsoft programs)

Humming at the flow of conversation Hunter didn't like the way it was going, particularly the elves argument, yes they had to take each rout but the order could make a difference. She wasn't as forward thinking or thoughtful as he had been told the rest of her kind was, she was something different to other elves, somewhat resigned despite having a life hundreds of years longer then his own.

"It's settled then, as soon as we enter the wood I'll climb and tree and scout ahead from the air and Efferi can do the same but from the ground."

(OOC: I think we need a DM post some time soon to get us moving forwards. I also think we should all try to improve our posts in the game and get some real RP in.)

As an English man would say...

Jolly good show old chap.

Serously, been waiting/looking a long time for a sheet that has everything and yours do have everything. So great to just have a standard sheet and place I can send any players or go to myself.

I move that we make Sui's sheets the standard for our SW d20 and 3.5e D&D games.

Topic: Dawn of Defiance: The Traitor's Gambit
Subject: Favors

It was time to end a favor he'd called in, and possibly ask for a second. He needed to get up to the droid shop on the promenade deck to get this armor, it seamed it was going to be part of the plan no matter what else changed, anyway, he intended to flog it as soon as they got to Alderaan. Should fetch a decent amount on the black market and it shouldn't take to long for him to find a buyer.

"I have to get up to the droid shop then, it shouldn't take long but come with if you can keep your head down."

He then walks out the room with his pistol under his arm ready for the apparently slightly touchy stormies, what with Ara and Ithiria apparently already having scuffled with them. On his way out he passed the two smelly pigs, Gamorreans to be precise, laying dead on the ground.

He then enters the service lift and makes his way up the the promanade deck, cutting his way through the crows he eventuly reaches the doid shop.

Convincing enough for me. Posts away.

EDIT: Although my post will need a GM post to follow which puts me in a fix because, maybe Hako'ib will change the subject for a bit so we can RP.

Unless anyone else has something else to add to the plan.

The plan was getting better, from what he had so far heard Ara was the brains of the group, but Ithiria hadn't spoken yet and Karra had showed great skill in reviving him.

"If you don't mind Karra I do have some mesh tape you could use Ara, I saw a stormy using some before when he didn't have his binder cuffs."

He pulls a roll of mesh type from a pocket in his utility belt and tosses to to Ara, looking guiltly at Karra whirst doing so.

"I've been seen on blue deck before myself so I can't pretend to be a dancer when Switch's contacts know I'm not. I could just go down escorting Ithiria making out that I'm taking her to the BluRay, if you happy with that Ithiria."

Assumptions, you have to make a few assumptions when ever you plan anything, years on The Station told Hako'ib that people turned up where you didn't want them or that lucky didn't often shine on you at a key moment. For Hako'ibs plan he needed to make a few, Switch's old contacts needed to be happy to play ball, Ara and Ithiria had to not mind playing dress up, they had a ship on standby and no one spotted Ithiria.

"Getting down there shouldn't be a problem, it's getting out again. The deck isn't restricted to humans only; I've been down numerous times before. I have to assume you have a ship to pick us up?"

Facing Ara and then turning to Ithiria and Karra.

"I have a disguise for you, a set of Stormtrooper Armor I had hidden in the droid workshop on the promenade deck. As for you two I can call in a favour from Answar to get us down to the deck, his cantina isn’t too far from the main docking bay and he specializes in exotic entertainment so you two should fit in.”

Concealing his pistol within a shoulder holster under his jacket he continues. (Stealth check to conceal the pistol)

“We can’t take down any visible weapons and you’d have to be on your own Ara. Of cause that’s only the best I can come up with but if any of you have other ideas we’d better hear them.”

Just walking down as normal isn’t much of a plan but it’s the only other he can come up with, maybe if Ara dressed up as a Stormtrooper she could escort Ithiria or Karra down and he the other, make out he was taking her to the BluRay Cantina. His lukke sent a silent message to the other Twi’lek “You’re a Jedi?!”

All for that, get Ara in that armor.

I think coming up with a plan woudn't be too hard now, Ara and Ithra willing

Love the idea of using ST armor, tis a blessing from the Twi'lek gods/God.

But your right, we should wait for Garent to post before continuing with anything.

Topic: New SAGA Talent
Subject: New SAGA Talent

I've recently come up with an idea for a new talent in SW SAGA edition; it's a Scoundrel talent for the Fortune Talent Tree

Card Counting :
Whenever you gamble you can chose to make a perception check in place of a wisdom check to determine the outcome of any card game or hand. You may not take 10 or 20 on this check. In addition you must make a stealth check setting the DC of any perception check made by your opponents to conceal the fact that you are actively counting cards. If an opponents perception check equals or exceeds your stealth check you are found out and forfeit any and all winnings, your state, are expelled from the game/gaming establishment and forced to pay a fine set at the GMs digression
Prerequisite : Gambler, Trained in Stealth and Perception.

Any way, all comment/criticisms are welcome. I've tried to get the text as clear as I can but personally I think it could do with some worth so if you could help with that as well.

I'd have to agree, my brother was like that in one game where he had to be the healer and meat shield.

I personally don't like players who get like that though, if I'm ever forced into a role I just run with it. Make him/her what the party needs but give him, in my mind, 'funny little quirks' that make him so different.

Just look at my character in Prometheus Rising: Straight On Til Morning, he's the most combat character of the whole group yet he's a martial artist in a world of guns with only 9 strength. Not forgetting Ken is also a clone, used to be owned but is now free and is/would be perfectly happy with the daily slog and 9 to 5 routine.

Subject: After a long trek

These creatures they were following seemed to have no thought for stealth, their tracks were clear a moonlight and although there were many of them, so it would be harder to cover any tracks if they had been trying, they couldn't have been the ones responsible for stealing the statues. They couldn't posses the cunning to pull of something so daring without being caught.

When the tracks split Hunter knelt to examine them, he had a basic understanding of these things and hoped it would prove useful. He'd chosen not to take a horse, as it was forbidden for raptorans who couldn't yet fly, so it had been a more tiring journey for him and he yearned to glide from a height more then he ever had in his life, how hard it must be to be permanently land bound.

"The tracks split to the North, South and East, the Mountains, Ocean and Forrest."

This was a chance for debate and he'd be damned if he missed it.

"We should continue east, if they are heading towards the ocean then they could have transport ready and we may never catch them. But I can easily scale both trees and mountains so I have not preference to either north or south."

Standing back up to observe all three directions he concluded his short argument.

"Assuming these creatures either can't or wont climb then we have the biggest advantage in the woods as I could glide above and act as scout and shoot down on them."
