On page 11 I have posted up the routes, they involve the characters who have left the adventure working on the NPC shift.

Just to clarify, each shift will be 8 hours long and with a member of the town guard.

"I shall walk you over your route once I know what one you wish to do, as for me, I would like a the morning shift on route 2 as my accommodations are on that route. I will also spend the majority of my day there so if I am needed you can find me easily."

I have coupled together different parts from different editions of D&D and have come up with my prototype of Version X.
It still needs revising and some of the basics are up on my site but to really help and get an idea of Version X you need to at least read the Lantan game thread, when I post it up, but it would be better if you joined the game.

Subject: question

Once hearing Ariellyn talk Selaro decided that the conversation needed structure so they did not lose any advantage, such as a goblin expert.
"For now we need to not get overwhelmed, we should now discus and put our attention towards what might be organising the goblins."
she says it as a suggestion but it is that type that has to be headed as it seems the most logical thing to do and continues to ask Shalelu a question
"Shalelu, do you know what creatures there are in the area that would have some reason to attack towns, I don't think it could be any of the goblin 'champions' as they seem not to have anything to benefit from attacks like the last from what you have already told us."

Seeing that Hunderel had stepped up to help him he quickly thanked him and returned to vigilance.

"You are quite correct that we need knowledge of what is organising the goblins and why but I do not know much about goblins and their kind and that is why I am focusing primarily on the matter of defending the town. I am no tactician and no goblin psychologist."
with that she pauses for a short time mulling over what she is going to say next and continues
"I believe that the north gate is quite well guarded but the bridges are unguarded and so that is probably the way the goblins got in. A guard dog costs 25 gold for your information and until we get that all important information our strengths are best if we concentrate them on defending the town."

Subject: A story to tell.

Lar'd gets distracted from his post to explain the story by re-telling that the muscle bound guy that hit him with a few bits of information he gained from Allustan before asking Aurea whether she knew what to do or what the others were doing. He also went to the trouble of explaining that they were after it and were on there way and so why he must stand guard.

"There are 6 of us, I propose that we split into our groups and half of us do the night shifts and each shift will be 8 hours long, these are my proposed routes"

"Goblins are afraid of dogs and horses,"
from just the tone of her voice you could tell Selaro was forming a plan
"if any one ride that would be a useful asset and if you can't I suggest that you purchase a large dog that is trained to attack. Now, we have been granted 1000 gold for the upkeep of the town, I suggest that our first purchase with that should be the purchase of dogs for the north gate and for the bridges in and out of town, they are easily defensible and we can post guard members outside the Two Knight Brewery and Rovanky Tannery, that will assure that no goblins enter the town. As for us patrolling the town I suggest that we split up and patrol the an area of the town with a member of the guard."

OOC: Brianna, Chunky-Monkey, Glory of Gallifrey, Laurelestra, stryke and myself are still playing. If this list is somehow wrong please PM me with the correction.

PS: stryke wants to continue but is unable to because of exams.
