Selaro turns towards Aldern Foxglove and responds with the simple statement
"I do not support the unnecessary killing or harming of any innocent creature that walks, flies or swims on this planet and I believe that hunting for pure sport is a barbaric practice so I must decline."
She turns towards the others and says
"However I do want to venture out of the Sandpoint, I have been meaning to for some time and think of now body I would rather be accompanied by than you. I know that for many of you you have just arrived here and that we are being hailed as heroes here but I would rather be a stranger in a new land then a hero in an old one. So what do you say and Myra could you please donate this to the cathedral for me as I don't want to be known as a hero and a benefactor of the town."
and she hands a ruby from her bag to Myra.
"I have some business to attend to so would you please excuse me, I will be back in a Minuit or two."
And Selaro stands up and leaves. She heads towards Maver Kesk place to officially get how much the gems are worth with the intention of going to the Red Dog Smithy, in search of Das Korvat, so she can buy a new scimitar, the masterwork serrated one, that they had been working on.

The half-ogre whispers to Velkyn seemly relived by the use of the spell cast by the gnome.
"My name is Rothrar and I am indeed a half-ogre as you probably suspected but I have renounced the ways of my kin and you have my oath of protection so long as you are in my sight."
Turning to the rest of the group he said
"Now if you have no objections I will go to the edge of the gauge to give Dusk backup if he needs it unless you have any other ideas."
And he proceeds to the down the tunnel to the gauge as silently as possible (Taking 20's no matter what the time needed)

Subject: Sorting things out.
Selaro acts as naturally as possible whilst walking down to the inn but, all the same, it's easy to see her discomfort at being surrounded and having so many people watching her.
As she receives the medal and gem bag from the mayor she thanks her profusely but never-the-less takes them, opens the bag and quickly examines the gems but to all the world it looks like she is merely ore-struck at there beauty (Appraise Check: 27). She thanks the mayor again then enters the inn.

Turning to the recently saved Aldern Foxglove "Thank you for your complements and your offer of a proper reward but all I want is a better blade, to practice my art and proper appreciation but I would be grateful of a good meal and a good drink for me and my aquantences, and a yarn of what brought you to Sandpoint"
Turning again to the person who healed her, the assumed wizard or sorcerer and the halfling armed with the bow she spoke "I believe that we have not met, may I ask your name and occupation. You" she turned to the healer but not accusingly "I believe are a priest in the temple and thus knowledgeable in the ways of divine magic and that leads me to believe you might would be the person to identify these." and she hands over the 4 bottles. "And thank you for your assistance earlier. You" she addresses Taden "are an arcane caster and so I am interested in your art greatly but maybe over a drink as I am sure that it would take a wile, that is if you drink. And lastly, I would be interested in what brought a halfling to Sandpoint

As you enter the room you see a hulking figure straighten up from where he was crouching on the floor, he looks over 7 foot tall, carries a backpack and a sack on his back, for you can only see his back, and as the drow utters the work 'orcs' raises his bow in the direction of the exit.
"We have one more, I hope you know when to speak and when not to as a voice echos wildly down here."
He whispers to you.
"Now shush."
He continued in the same hushed tone.

Relaxing for the moment Rothrar takes the supplies from the backpack left by Elminster and puts them in his sack.
"I suppose that we couldn't of been provided with a mule or a cart to put this lot in."
Once he finishes rearranging his sack he starts to give the group the once over checking there strengths, weakness and possible vulnerabilities (no physical contact, just casting an eye over them quickly (spot check to notice anything, total=15)) then speak again
"If were going to survive down here I suggest that we only eat our rations when foraging isn't possible and that we fill our water-skins whenever we find water, just common sense stuff but I've been in campaigns like this one when all the food was eaten quick and we almost waisted away to nothing...
Can anyone purify water here?... We also need to sort out a formation, I'll stay back with any spell casters who can't defend themselves well if I'm needed there as I don't fancy leading this group."
He then opens his belt pouch and draws out a marble sized metal sphere and proceeds to say
"This is a flash pellet, it'll blind anyone within a 5ft area above ground but could be more effective so when I shout (he says now in the giant dialect) close your eyes for a short time but no too long. Also who's going to draw the map?"
(How many days are the rations and water good for + what is its combined wight? I will update my character when I know.)

Rothrar states to the group and then approaches Dusk "Shame to employ your services again as I do not favor the underdark but it is a great relief to have you by my side Dusk" He says lowering his bow and approaching his old friend to great him "but as I have said before to you in a similar location that I keep my bow as a weapon, and a deadly one at that, but it shall not be used on you or anyone in your favor." he continues on a more serious note.
"As for the poking out of eyes any one who touches any of you shall lose much more then their sight as I am a mercenary and this is my word of employment to you all." Rothrar announces to the group.

The half-ogre responds jokily "Although we will need to be well acquainted on our journey our safety is more important and that is why you will seldom here me speak as I believe that we must be vigilant to keep our own skins" he says continuing his survey of the area "but for manners sake my name is Rothrar so would you now please volunteer your name." It wasn't a question, it was an order or request if you wish to take it lightly, and he was made all the more menacing by the fact that during speaking he only looked at the gnome once.
(For the DM's sake I am constantly making spot checks and electing to take 10 each time.)
