Topic: Dawn of Defiance: The Traitor's Gambit
Subject: Anti-Impy

Hako'ib looked at Ara as she was talking, he almost laughed when she said they didn't realise it was anti imperial. Didn't she realise everything Switch got involved in was anti-imperial. It seemed Ara was bothered about the credits, some people were and some were not, he was used to dealing with the kind who where not.

"Anything Switch gets involved in is anti-Impy, that's why the agent's been hidden on blue deck."

He said with a smile

"I know the quickest and safest root down to the hanger, but no heavies, we don't want to draw attention to ourselves by packing heat, we'll be quite noticeable down there anyway."

His lekku gave an angry twitch as the tall female collected some lookers, an alarm clock and some cake. Those things were for paying customers so when they found their goods were gone then they'd come looking for him, him being the late Switch's right hand man.

"Chance is those lookers and cakes are for some anti-Imp mob as well, if they aren't all here when they come for them they'll come after me."

He then realised that if he was in fact on Alderaan then they most likely wouldn't come that far just for some stolen goods. Taking the blank datadisks from Switch's desk and walking over to his new companions fallen comrade he offers to help but questions what can be done.

"I'd be willing to help you but were on a space station, there isn't anything respectful that can be done and no way are you getting him to a ship and taking him planetside."

All that Hako'ib could think of is putting the man in a trash compactor and jettisoning or incinerating him by throwing down to the fusion drive engins. Nothing respectful at all.

Subject: Who am I

Now locking for his pistol, he finds it and picks up the archaic weapon and slips into a concealed holster, he suddenly remembered something, they were after a 'package', this could work, he could get off this blasted station once and for all. He only hoped Switch stayed under for long enough.

"Hako'ib, Switch's right hand man. And the only surviving member of his gang."

There was no pride in his voice, he hated being on the station, more so being down among the scum of the station. But there was a slight twitch in the side of his mouth when he mentioned he was the last member of Switch's gang.

"Can I ask what you know about the 'package' your collecting for Maya?"

He was polite, not the speech patten of someone who reveled in the filth down here, he looks around the room, his gaze pausing slightly on the female twi'lek before he turns to Switch's desk. Shoving the deactivated droid out the way he begins to search for information on the 'package' for Maya.

Within half an hour he finds his old bosses file on this 'package', it turns out it's a frozen Alderaanian Security Agent, probably smuggling himself as cargo, one of the oldest trick in the book. There was also a shipment of Corellian rum in the same hanger destined for 'the right person' on Alderaan, lucky he knew the contact. Downside of it was that this was all in the main hanger on Blue Deck, and Imp loyalist area of the station.

"I've found your 'package'. He's a Alderaanian Security Agent trying to sneak past Imperial security. I wouldn't touch Switch if I were you but here's 80 credits and the thugs probaly have some on them as well."

He places two 40 credit creditsticks on the desk and waits for them to be picked up.

"I hope we can come to some arrangement."

In case they don't get the hint he continues.

"Get me to Alderaan and I'll help you get your Security Agent to Maya."

Subject: The cat speaks

Having already stood when the cat creature had spoken and not noticed her at all till she had spoken. He was shocked that he'd looked over her, maybe he wasn't as well as he'd supposed when he first got up.

"Huh... I've felt better. But we don't have much choice, this place could be crawling with Ganga's men or Imps any time."

In truth the slowly subsiding pain still griped his torso where the blaster bolt had impacted and where he'd hit the wall but he was doing well to disguise it, so he hoped at least.

"Thank you for reviving me. Your a Cathar aren't you?"

He enquired after seeing her whiskers, the fur and the ears.

(OOC: You can decide or not if your character sees Hako'ibs pain or not.)

Subject: Twi'leks

...he was struggling. Scared. Something had his arm. He struggled and struggled and pulled free. He ran and ran. Something hit his left lek. He tripped and fell. Unconscious...

He woke up. He woke up to see cat creature, not a cat creature, a cathar, talking to... a Twi'lek, his memory of them recovering slightly. They were working for Maya, or the Twi'lek was, and so was the other female on the floor. He couldn't see the third... oh... there he was. The body of Ganga Lor and his men strewn across the floor, one of them curiously cut in half, he'd heard enough mad stories on that station to realise that it was the wound from a lightsaber, but he wasn't convinced they existed.

"Who shot me!"

Using some near by clutter he pulled his acking body up, casting an eye over the scene he saw Switch disabled. Oh well.

"Sorry about Ganga Lor, your not dead by the way."

The first half jokily, the second less so, before making his way to Ganga’Lor where he pilfers everything but the heavy pistol, muttering something about modern rubbish, and vibrodagger.

He straightened up to face the group and spoke again tentatively.

"I think I've some explaining to do."

Subject: Knowledge

What other knowledge would I have of Switchs assets?

Would I know of anything useful that he owns (like encrypted comlinks, deck plans of the station or information on patrols)?

Also, how does Switch normally collect things from the docking bay? Hako'ibs been working for Switch for 4 years so I'd think he'd know.

In the real world if I had so many different and conflicting personalities as characters I'd be in the mental institute in a straight jacket.

But otherwise knowing where our characters need to be would be very helpful.

Subject: Leaving the castle

"If you would permit us to leave sir."

Hunter addresses to the king before bowing slightly and turning to leave, on the way out, should the half-orc follow, he explains what the king has told them and answers any questions about what the king has said either truthfully or, if he does not know, says he doesn't know.

After retracing his steps through the castle he decides that anyone else can talk to the king next time, he was right that raptorans and water do not mix but he'd done nothing to incur a threat like that. Maybe the world should be returned to how it was, his race had always been hunter gatherers and farmers, they wouldn't be affected if the world returned to how it was. This was just a bid to keep the status quo, what did he care about the kings lands or the empires of the humans, they were such destructive species anyway, never looking forward.

But that was emotional trash, he was only thinking that in vengeance and swift vengeance led to swift demise, acting on the wing was not the wise thing to do.

Standing outside the castle with Elendara and Drizzt he caught the tail and of he sentence.

"I am sorry but I must walk, I'm forbidden to let any animal carry me or any man, or woman, to lighten my load. We'll need a map and pen at any rate, do either of you know a cartographers?"

Pausing to try to remember where he can find a map and to let answers come he then speaks again.

"I don't mind who 'leads' us on this expedition but can I be the navigator. My species can find north like no other and we're never wrong, it's a kind of innate ability."

It wasn't a question, more a kindly demand, the map reading is best in the hands of some who can find north without a compass and is never wrong.

Subject: It would seam

It would seem that the king didn't like him very much, but that was OK, he didn't like the king very much. He was only suggesting that the thieves were allowing themselves to be followed to set an example to anyone else who wished to follow, but the king hadn't thought of this and mistook it for him thinking that Hunter was suggesting that he himself was setting the trap.

"I offer my apologies your highness. I did not mean to offend you or attack your honor."

He was otherwise satisfied with the kings response to the questions, now they had what information they had asked for speed was of the essence, he only wished it was not forbidden to let another carry his equipment or to allow an animal to carry himself. They'd be able to travel quicker if he could ride but he could not, he waited for the king to dismiss them before leaving the throneroom and castle.

Topic: Prometheus Rising: Straight On Til Morning
Subject: Ken 13976

Ken 13976 had started his day like any other. After getting out of bed and stripping it he had a shower. Choosing some lose fitting casual clothes consising of a beige T-Shirt and something that resembles cricket trousers he finished with pale leather shoes and belt. After breakfast he washed up, mad his bed, having let the sheets air, before going down to his favorite hangout, a V-Boxing studio where he would spend a few hours before air-time. His apartment was a small space containing a sleeping area with a desk, a separate area for cooking and eating and finally a small en-suite, silly name, posh name, the 'en-suite' simply contained a toilet, a sink and a shower. The only decoration in the entire apartment was an unused notice board, the only noticeable belonging was on the desk, a pad.

Down town in the V-Boxing studio, Ken 13976 was in a curtained off booth pulling on a set of V-Goggles, having already strapped on the V-Ankle Bands and V-Gloves, he logged in as 'Odd-ball'. The first fight was against a mister 'Butt_Kicking_King'. Ken 13976 found it more satisfying fighting real people rather than training drones, even if it was some hyped up teen trying to impress his girlfriend. Even so, a hyped up teenager probably had more life experience then he did. Ken 13976 had been grown to maturity so he had no idea how old he was. He didn't beat the boy for some time though, he let him grow exhausted from havinng his kicks and punches blocked , and even a few of Ken 13976's own moves that the boy tried to use on Ken. The boy must watch the Ken’s show, and copied moves of his own design. If you could make use of pressure points in the game he would have but the tech wouldn't allow it, kicks and punches only, so he blocked every one of his opponents attacks then, as 'Butt_Kicking_King' finally conceded a defeat, he was crowned victor. He continued for a few more fights, as he got more and more tired out he relayed more on his own attacks to win, before leaving to shower.

Taking of the goggles, gloves and ankle bands he could see the sweat patches on his shirt so went to shower before air-time. Stepping out the steaming cubical he dried and changed into his white instructors dress, deposited his used clothing in the washing machine and grabbed his range pack on the way down to the studio.

It was a special broadcast today, they were using the new 3-D studio today so that he could be watched on a normal screen or as a hologram from any angle, his martial art's instructor work was laborious but he was glad for it, he wasn't a ring fighter anymore and he wasn't a punching bag at the military academy. What's more he was free! He was soooo happy of his little room and 'meager' life because it was his life, he wasn't a puppet owned by someone else anymore and that kept him in one of the best moods imaginable.
