Subject: Enter the Barracks
Adol headed over to the barracks deciding that she didn't much like the droid. Why couldn't the base just be ready for them, I'm sure with all the time it's taken the droid to form that personality he could have done a little work. Before turning to the barracks she did make a suggestion to the others.
"I'm going to the barracks. Saysei you should probably go to the hanger with anyone else who want's to check it out."
After entering the building she found the floor was still solid and so stood just within the reach of the light from the open door, her slim atheistic frame silhouetted in the entering light as her eyes adjusted to the half darkness, the sounds of something other then herself moving picked up by her feline ears. She spoke into the small comlink the bracer on her left arm and to the ones who had entered the building with her.
"Watch you back, I think something other then droids and us here. Darren, can you see if you can find a generator somewhere and get it online."
She drew her pistol from it's holster, it had been her fathers and made the sidearm they had been given loot like a toy. The medium sized pistol was larger and heavier then most other heavy pistols and had a scope on it along with a rangefinder, this BlasTech model had it's range and weight compromised so it could punch a heavier blow but it was definitely more accurate in her hands then any other pistol.
She then adjusted the barrel a bit and tweaked some of the finer settings, a trick her farther had passed down along with the weapon, if you made a few miner adjustments to the barrel and a few other settings you could improve it's accuracy a tad more along with it's power output.
(Using the Personalized Modifications talent to gain a +1 to accuracy and +2 to damage, I'm not sure how long this'll late but it's Adol's standard preparation when combat seems a possibility. Even it it's against a few overgrown rats  )

Ah, this was more her territory. She wondered if Kate had been recording the conversation, she wished she had been. She also wondered if they wanted credits or trade goods and how willing the Jedi would be to replace her speeder if she had to part with it, she didn't know how much they should offer as it was tricky. If too much was offered then it could backfire, if too little was offered then it wouldn't work.
"What are we talking sir? Credits or goods?"
She waited for a response for the trooper before continuing.
"How much of an offer would we have to make, I'm sure an official like yourself would demand a high amount."

Right, my laptop acts up, it aways has.
It's a Gateway so I'm surprised it's lasted as long as it has, my way of keeping it going when it starts getting too slow and such is to put all my files onto my memory stick and to restart the laptop.
Last night I restarted my laptop and it seemed to go OK until it started booting up, at that point the following message was displayed and it stopped doing anything.
BOOTGMR is compressed. CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart
I restarted the thing and the same message was displayed.
Can anyone offer me any help?
In the mean time I am relaying on my brother's kindness so my posting is very likely to slow down.

Arrune thought it best to stay quiet, so hadn't been in such a situation before and it was most likely the trappings she had insisted on bringing that would cause them problems. She wasn't too impressed with the Jedi's excuse, it wouldn't explain why she had all the stuff on the ship.
She had heard that jedi can read minds though so she thought ot loud her response to his story as indignantly as she could.
Why am I just a refugee, I know I am but it'll never explain why I have all those droid parts in the ship or why there's the mandalorian armor. You could have said I'm Kate's mechanic or I work for you or the noble, that would explain in. You could tell him the mandalorian armor is being looked at for some weakness or something.

Subject: Arriving at the new base.
The length trip on the orbital hopper was exaggerated by the quietness, it was only just dawning on her what a responsibility it was for her after Jon-Jon had confirmed her suspicions. They were all going to live together and then might even die together, it was up to her to keep them together. She was the leader, was that a good thing? She didn't know but it wasn't her to argue.
It was very against character for her to be quiet or to just accept things.
Arriving at the new base the droid seamed to address her, or maybe that was just imagination. What ever it wasn't too great, they were in the middle of a jungle standing outside an abandoned facility with no idea what might be residing in the facility. There wasn't that much to absorb, according to the droid they were 'on their own until our technical crews get here' and there demolitions specialist wanted to scorch the place with some acid or something. Personally she agreed with the only other female in the group but somehow she thought they didn't have any HNO3 on them. Teldan had asked when the technical crew were getting there and Saysei was looking to Adol for direction, she was just going to realise that she was leader or something.
"I think we need to know when the technical crew gets here. But we need to clear this place out, who knows what natives are here."
The question was rhetorical and by natives she meant animal life.
"We should probably spread out and search the place."
You didn't need to be a psychological profiler to know that she wasn't too sure of something, most likely being the highest ranked and the shortest and female. In her favor she was confident and up for almost anything.

Subject: Graduation
She looked out of place in the 15 man lineup, first of all she was a girl, there were few enough in the original 40 man platoon but even fewer had survived the six months. Probably the second thing that people noticed was her stature, she was short, very short, only 1 meter 62 but was otherwise well proportioned and athletic. Her build was mostly due to her passion for grav-ball, a sort of, well, completely unlike other games but it required it's player's to have some degree of physical strength but mostly coordination and agility. Next you'd probably see that she was fury, her hair was in a top knot and waved down to her waist. The rest of her skin was covered in fur and her nails were in fact claws, she also looked uncomfertable in uniform.
She waited and watched as Jon-Jon, Darren, Saysei and [Oscar's first name] slowly came down from the front but was wondering why she hadn't been called up second, she should have been after Jon-Jon with a name like Adol Dara. Then she was called up, she made her way to the front with a heightened awareness of herself, this arquadness was almost worse then the Gunnery Sargent; how she hated that man and his drills and marching and shouting and. She was at the front. Smiling as the Major awarded her with the rank pins. Hang on. She'd been made a Private First Class. She has 'high scores', she didn't know they'd been being marked, she thought it was just 'Well done, go get those stormies.'
She returned to the lineup, she quietly watched and congratulated her other friends as they were awarded a rank and unit before the line up was disbanded, she knew she probably wouldn't see them again, her family was, again, being broken up. She made her way to the rest of 1st Special Operations struggling not to half run or show any of the normal features of her gate, it was hard.
She saw Jon-Jon and spoke up to him, he was a bit taller then her.
"Private First Class - what does that mean?"
Already dread filler her at the though she is probably unit leader or in some way responsible for the group as she made her way, with the rest of them, to he hopper. Her uniform was uncomfortable and she couldn't wait to change into something a bit more... her.
(OOC: I should probably say that Adol does not have an accent as she learnt basic from a very young age due to her upbringing and if there is anything you would want me to expand on then ask in the Q&A thread as it would have probably come up during the 6 months of training.)

Arrune was in the engineering bay of the ship, as normal, when they arrived in the system, she had visited the cockpit briefly to get the corps of her mandalorian friend jettisoned but had returned to her work soon afterwards.
She'd spent the flight carefully taking apart the combat droid to alsatian what was worth keeping, it would seem most of it as only her processor was damaged beyond repair. She had then spent some more time fixing up some Ord Mantell she had sorted everything and decided what she of the repairable systems, by the time they had arrived atcould do. She could fit the droid's flamthrower with the trigger and casing from a blaster rifle and fixed that shield generator on to her speeder to provide some limited protection. The combat suit can be salvaged and refitted once the jetpack had been removed and she could do a number more things.
She started work on the flamethrower by stripping a blaster rifle of it's casing, although she doesn't expect to have compleated the weapon by the time the reached the planets surface.
They had decided to the planet and Arrune had made her Way to the cockpit, things were not going well. They were on the planet, good, but they had attracted some attention, not good. What would they think if they boarded, what would they say!! This female Twi'lek had dragged the corps of a mandalorian on board with a combat droid, stripped them both and ejected the mandalorian into the orbit of the planet?
However true that might be she had the odd feeling it wouldn't cut it. Maybe they should just... no, this place was a treasure trove, loads of junk, a person like herself could make a fortune here.

Subject: YAY Tinkering time
Some time over the hyperspace journey my character, Arrune in case you've forgotten somehow, will have told you how to deactivate the combat droids after examining them for locked access (if you could please confirm this Skari-dono)
She has also use the combat droids flamethrower and combined it with the casing and trigger from a blaster rifle so that it can be used, you can fight among yourselves but she will most likely give it to the wookiee as he scares her and can provably make best use of it.
She's also stripped the broken jetpack from the mandalorian combat suit and has offered to re-fit it for any member of the party on the basis that she didn't pay for it so why should you, but you still owe her in her books if you want it.
Skari-dono has also given me permission to recharge the combat droid's shield generator and install it Arrune's speeder, although as it's being put on a larger object it's power is reduced.
Arrune can also approach you offering to take a go at upgrading a few weapons with an:
Extra Power Source
Double Trigger
Overload Switch
Pulse Charger
Sniper Switch or
Targeting Scope (only one can be made because it needs to be striped from the mandalorian armor)
depending on the kindness of Skari-dono.
Any leftover weapon parts she'll put away to use in the future for some use or another. If you want to trust my character then just post up here and include it in your next in game thread so that I know to include that I've done it in my next game thread.

Having come clean with this she starts laying out all the equipment for the ship they had escaped from on the deck and proceeded to strip the mandalorian of his equipment and examining the combat droid for locked access and any ways to shut it down externally.

Arrune is also checking over all the equipment (including that of the droids and mandalorians) to see what she can do. Once I know that I will offer to the others what I can do.

In the workshop with Kate Arrune turned to her to make a confession.
"Back there, you know, home. I, um, when you came to me to be reprogrammed, when you were out I sort of downloaded a copy of you brain and took a scan of you. It was so I could do a rebuild..."
She bends down to search her utility belt before pulling out a pair of datacards.
"These are yours, my scan of your chassis and the downloaded copy of you brain. Have them."
She pauses for this to sink in and for a response, these situations need to be done carefully. Kate could take her head off if she wanted.

The pressure was getting to Arruna'dira a bit, those ships must be closing in although she couldn't see the monitors. Instead she then turned to the Rodian and said
"I'm sure money won't be needed but is aways welcome, what do you know of Ord Mantall?"
Bending down towards the pilot (not sure if it's the doc or the wookiee) she said
"Get this hunk of junk into hyperspace before you get us all blown up."
before standing and announcing
"I'm off to take my speeder and the rest to the engineering bay. Kate, care to join me?"
(Kate should know Arrune well enough to know that's she's up to something and anyone with the force skill 'sense' should be able to detect this)
OOC: By 'and the rest' she means the droid, all the weapons everyone has picked up and the dead mandolorain, she'll return to the cockpit when she's done and will start various examinations afterwards. (Just to explain, as we have previously accessed I do know the jedi has or had something and Arruna'dira is just guessing it's a datacard. And Arruna'dira is her twi'lek name, as she is away from Ryloth and her own kind she prefers to be called Arrune)
