Leaving the general stores with her acquaintances Selaro heads across the road into the town hall expecting to be greeted by one of the town officials and told why they are needed. She knew it would be something fairly big as if it wasn't a detachment of the guard would be sent, and not something too important as otherwise they would just get a mercenary to do it. They were trusted and they were needed.

A black hole suddenly opens up next to the sun, sucks it in and disappears. We will all die of lack of oxygen in a few weeks but this interstellar disruption causes all the planets to collide together. Were all dead.
I wish I didn't fantasize about the end of the world so much.
Hay, were all going to die and we have doomed the planet, all that's left is to look on the bright side of life.

I am constantly taking 10's on Spot and listen checks directed towards the entrance, he also has a readied attack against any anything that might come down the stairs.
Lar'd keeps his senses trained on the entrance ignoring the happenings behind him with his sword ready if anything should come down the stairs.

Preparation for the oncoming battle
The Trident >Runs to O19 >Readies weapons to attack >Readies weapons to defend himself.
As 'The Trident' runs in he heads towards the western wall of the arena waving his trident above his head and getting the crown excited about the oncoming battle, a seasoned gladiator working the crowd. As he run he yells at the top of his voice
"Victory to team Kraken."
and when he reaches his team mates he takes up a position to defend Seya and whispers to her.
He then straightens himself up and prepares for battle.
