My mouth hangs open.

That really is complicated, if you don't mind I'll wait until you have some more interest before I start creating a character in proper.

I would like to know your view on alignments however and maybe discuss them with you when I do come to writing up my character.

Subject: running gags

Your right, we have enough running gags in the comics.

It's just a stimuli so we can explore our characters, I don't intend to turn it into a running joke and it's not in my characters nature. But please expect for Van to earn his title as far as Efen is concerned. Please expect for Van's name to be shortened to Van though as it's easier to say, Efen isn't too bothered with accuracy, he is still a bit bemused by the idea of surnames and I can't be bothered to type it out in full every time.

EDIT: Not on a dodgy keyboard anyway.

First, a cursed belt that changes your gender permanently.

Second, a pair of gloves I dreamt up that give you +2 strength bonus, they also happen to have the rusting grasp ability (passively activated) so the fighter rusted his own sword to nothing.

EDIT: These may just be plan mean, but I think they are very funny.

Yes, well, someone has to be the sarcasm and meat guy.

Whoever gets that reference will receive an applaud.

Serously, calling yourself Sir is going to attract attenction, be it good or bad, so please don't take it to heart Sir Vanlen Kindern.

Topic: Forgotten Kings
Subject: By the roadside

Efen’s eye was immediately caught by the bland stool, erected in a hurry with a hulking man standing behind it and a worn sword beside the man. Drawn to the stool not particularly by it’s roughness of it’s build but repulsed by the other stools and their vulgarity, in his home simple but elegant designs, carved from the ice itself, prevailed. Approaching the table he didn’t seem to be alone, there were five others, two of them wers questioning the large man and getting no reply. The idea of sharing whatever money offered with these others didn’t worry him, he hadn’t come for money, nor did the idea of having to journey with them, and he’d been lonely on his travels after leaving the Frozen Coast. So long as he could, through his own efforts and not have it gifted to him, gain a gift and a story to return to his home with.

The man behind the stool hadn’t answered the question yet, he didn’t look like the type of man who would answer questions though, the man looked like the type of man someone might get to break someone else’s legs or do other painful things. It was in Efen’s nature to wait, the moon rises in her own time and no one else’s, so he began speculating what this man needed help with. He was a big guy but only one, perhaps he intends to lead a party into unknown wilds he wondered or to raid a tomb.. So ridiculous burying the dead with their belongings in his society the dead were burn to release the body and spirit from the icy grip of this world. It must be something urgent though, if it wasn’t the stool would be vulgar like the others, maybe this man was recruiting a mercenary arm to help defend a village All grand thoughts but he suspected he was no closes the guessing the truth then they were to getting the man to speak.
The two others who had already spoken announced themselves to be Hundover and, rather pompously, Sir Vanlen Kindern. Efen had to suppress a snort at Sirs names but his eyes showed what he really thought, the eyes were the window to the soul, only Efen was particularly good at leaving the curtains open.

He introduced himself as Efen of the Frozen Coast as his pony bends to nibble on some grass by the roadside
”Well I’m Efen of the Frozen Coast but you can just call me Efen.”
and added as an afterthought he spoke to Van
”I think our friend with a big sword isn’t that impressed with your title.”

Just then a small fella, a child, no a a small scrawny man runs towards then, tripping up on the way. Van turns to leave but must have remembered something so decides to stay. After a quick exchange with the man with the big sword he addresses the group. "I have a slight problem."

OK, none of you would know this but this morning my laptop keyboard developed a fault that meant short cut keys were permanently activated and couldn't type. This is obviously no longer the case.

I AM so happy I could sing, dance or do almost anything anyone asked me to happily.

Unfortunately it is midnight so I'll probably wake someone up if I do, and I can't sing, dance or rhyme.

This is just my way of venting my euphoria and who ever posts below to join me will be applauded.

EDIT: The applaud thing only applies to people who post in the next 24 hours.

Subject: Well

To be honest I've hardly found the time to post his week, Tuesday nights are not good nights for me. Mondays and Wednesdays are better for me to post because I have less work to do.

With me, although I was always going to post tonight because I have time, on day just isn't enough time, particularly if that one day is not a Monday or Wednesday.

And I'd like us to be able to draw the game to a close once we escape this blasted space station if that's ok with the rest of the group.

EDIT: I'm with Geraint, I don't want the game to end . Once you restart it I'll join and with Hako'ib, my promise.

Subject: A kiss!!!

He was dumbstruck. Hako was dumbstruck.

They'd been leaning out to see if anything was coming down the corridor, there was by the way, and Ara had manned the sled, if manned was the right word. Ithiria had kissed him! The first female of his species he'd actually been able to know. She was a Jedi. Were they allowed to kiss?!

The kiss also meant something else, she had danced out and waved at the captain. Why she waved at the captain he wouldn't know, he followed her out a couple of steps and came into full view of them. The kiss meant this was bad.

Completely exposed to the stormies, Ithiria gone forward to lure the captain on, he turned to face them. Framed in the middle of the doors he faced them. Weary and determined. The invaders would not take the hanger. Karra was on the doors so they just needed to hold them off. The lead centre was Hako's target. Ithiria had marked the captain as hers so he'd take to stormies with Ara. The lead centre was key.

In a swift move he raised his pistol to the lead centre stormie and pulled the trigger twice, holding the gun stead so recoil wouldn't be too bad, he held it steady before retreating. Ithiria had moved forwards so he'd move back, split the forces.

(OOC: Moving two squares forwards, using rapid shot on ST#5 and then moving two steps back. I am also readying an action; Hako'ib will shoot at the first stormtrooper to come into his line of sight.

I may also edit this depending on if Geraint edits his.)

I'd like to carry on with this character conditionaly, if the condition isn't met then I'll probs be making a new one.

But we have 5 months to decide.

And the condition isn't a demand of you Aryn.

Topic: SW: Dawn of Defiance Q/A
Subject: I'll post my ideas hear then

I'll going to go though several scenarios with you OK, please go through them in the order I have posed them

1) If the stunned stromtrooper from the last combat is up and about (no longer unconscious) I shall shoot him.

2) If a stormtrooper comes round the corner then Hako'ib will use his readied action shoot him. If a second stormtrooper comes round he'll use his standard action to shoot him also.

3) If neither of the above happen then Hako'ib will move back 2 and left 3 so he is in front of (by one square) of stromtrooper 3 and shoot him.

No matter what happens he'll thank Ithiria for coming, may make a playful comment about not receving any of Karra's mojo (not being treated by her) or just plain insult the troopers with something like "Can't you see we were bussy?"

Hope that clears it up for you.

Could you just clarify what you mean by OOC intentions, I think I know but I just want to be clear.

And what do you mean by Dragon Age Origins can lead to premature death of your SW Character!!, you would just kill us off so you could play Dragon Age Origins with Ginafae?

For now my characters intensions are to surivive and get off the station with Ithiria, Karra and Ara.

EDIT: This round my character intends to lure the STs round the corner so he can get his reaction attack against one and his standard attack against the other.

Topic: Dawn of Defiance: The Traitor's Gambit
Subject: Positions

Ara was in the control room sorting out the door and Karra and Ithiria were helping each other out, the code cylinder he had taken from the dead captain was in Karra's hands for now, hopefully it'll go some way to helping lock down the door. The datapad he had snatched was now in his utility belt, he'd have to check it for it's secrets later.

He'd just taken up position covering the hanger door and was suggesting someone else come and guard it when the stomies came through, his pistol was already aimed at the door and to be frank it took him a bit by surprise that would arrive so soon. In his shock he pulled the trigger managed to down the first trooper. One down, three to go.

He knew the droid he was sheltering behind wouldn't provide much protection for long so they would have to get rid of the other stormies before then. He shot at the trooper that still hadn’t entered the hanger preying his pistol wouldn't fail him, that it would find it's mark, but it didn't matter to much if he did miss this time, so long as he hit next time. His first though protect the others, and he'd do this by drawing their fire by forgoing his cover and darting forwards where Karra had battled the stormtrooper.

He pushed off hard against the ground making his dash for better cover, he could see the corpse of the dead stormie before he turned to face the droid he'd previously been hiding behind. Pistol held out he readied himself for the first trooper to come around the corner.

(OOC: OK, complicated round for me. Hako'ib is shooting ST#4 from behind the droid, he is then moving right by 1 and forwards by five. He is also reading an attack against the first stormtrooper to come into his line of sight.

I am also well aware that Karra only stunned her stormtrooper so he could come round in an hour or have come round a round ago, I think it's been 11 rounds since he was knocked out . In the case that he is conscious then my attack this round will be against him instead of the new stormtroopers because from my position behind the droid I should have been able to see him and if my attack doesn’t kill him then Hako’ib will stay behind the droid.)
