"well this building has nothing to offer as far as overwatch Ghalan grumbled as he looked out the window.  There was no way to see behind the concrete walls encasing the group.  He was essentially blind.  Taking out his radio he gave an update.  "We made it inside but other than a bunch of vagrants all around me I can't see a thing.  You guys are on your own over there.  Probably gonna make our way back to the start point."  Turning to his partner, "You got anything?  The lookout idea is a wash so we can head beack whenever you are ready."

The 3D map is likely to complicated for easy play.  People are not used to giving 3 axis directions.

After unsucessfully looking for a prime overwatch spot, Ghalan agreed with his partner that the sixth flor would have to do.  "Guess I can fake homeless.  At least for a couple hours."  Just before entereing the room full of vagrants he took out the radio and made a call to the others lettign them know the pair were in position.  He made his way towards a spot where he could at least look out of the building and then flopped on the floor.  One look at him and the others would likely figure he was one to leave alone.  "Now we wait, you keep watch on the riff-raff and I'll watch the outside."  

Watched it every week.

In the end nobody won the iron throne or united the 7 kingdoms. 

Loved Drogon melting the throne.  It forshadowed the fractured kingdom and change in how rulersno longer gained power by the sword.

Brand being king was the easy way out.  Yes they tried to make a good case for he was "a new way forward" but he was kind of a smug little shit.  Telling Jon he "was exactly where he was supposed to be" and the "Why do you think I came all this way?" comment.  He cannot sire children so they made it sound like that was good because he wouldn't continue the ruling by birth idea.  But it also means he doesn't have to ensure he does what is best for anyone but himself.  I feel like he is the snake in the grass no one recognises.

Sensa was never my favorite and she showed she was in it for herself by refusing to join the other kingdoms and becoming Quen in the North.  Kind of like the kid who takes his ball and goes home if he can't be the captain.

Jon found the strength to kill Dani and in the end his exile put him right where he always wanted to be so he can claim a bit of a victory but at a high price.

Greyworm is a jerk to put it nicely.  Should have died.  Reminded me of all the war criminals who "were just following orders" while killing everyone,

Therion in my mind was the biggest winner.  He not only lived but became the hand of what I see to be a very weak king.  He will wield the true power the same way he did under Ceri and then Dani.  For a moment I hoped he woudl accept the crown just to see Greyworms head explode.  He was probably my favorite character and I think he truely tried to do what was best for the people in the end.

In all the final season seemed like the writers were rushing to end things quickly and without development because there were so few episodes. 

That dragon breathed fire forever.  

"Alright, I'll keep an eye on things.  Fair warning, you touch my radio and you will end up dead.  Not gonna repeat that last encounter.  Just let me know when and where you plan on entering and I'll find an overwatch spot."  

Sorry but Jon is not going to sit on the throne.  Since it is a fantasy series Cerci will not but she actually had the best chance at the moment.  Sansa kills Dinarys , Ceri dies and the imp takes the throne.  

Was just predictable and lacked any sort of drama.  Episode built up to a let down.  Plus John and Dinarys did basically nothing except for fly around.  They had two jobs, light the trench (they failed) and keep the undead dragon busy (again they failed) . Not even gonna get into how they stayed on the dragons barebacked during the fight.  Just expected a better episode.  Felt like when a storyteller gets stuck and ends with "then she woke up".

The dead bull rush the large men, push back Ser Brienna and shatter the Unsullied but Aria can stab 3 with her spear and shove them backwards?  Not buying it.  How did Aria get from the castle to the tree?  What did she jump out of when she killed the Night King?  I have to give the entire episode a C+ at best and the ending an F.  Complete anticlimax.  

I saw an article that said the creater of GoT wanted his fantasy dragons to "make sense" and no avian or reprilian creatures have 6 limbs.  He used bats as the inspiration for his "dragon" anatomy.  Bats were exactly what I thought of when I saw his creatures walking.  Article ended with " they are dragons because the show creater called them dragons".  

Maybe I am just to much of a purist but it kind of bothers me that the "dragons" are actually wyverns.  Guess mother of wyverns didn't have the right ring to it.  

I also loved the "I always had blue eyes" line.

Not a fan of Arya either.  

If you like the intrigue of GoT look up the show Nightfall.  It is about the Templars and has lots of interesting twists.

  Ghalan listened to the plan.  Seemed that Charlie would be scouting out a homeless person to do some snooping.  Never a great plan to depend on others but in this case it was probably the best.  At least the homeless would blend in a bit.  Ghalan was well aware that he stood out.  If Charlie was going to go wandering around he might need a bit of backup.  "I'll go with you Charlie. Might need some overwatch in case things go south."

"Of course we have a mision number, how else do you think we got this stuff from supply?  I am sure friend computer knows who we are and woud look badly on anyone treasonous to hinder our mission."  Hopefully the jack-o-bit woud come through ith the mission number again.  Maybe this time leader would be smart enough to write it down.  

   Ghalan sends a return message to Vegas.  "Ran into some trouble.  Bloodbank took the walkie so I was cut off.  Sec team found me in the garage and they had to play macho.  Tried to walk away quietly but they forced my hand.   Took out a bunch of them then made a run for it.  Might be same group you talked about.  If you give me a location i'll come to you.

Ghalahn hoped a reply would come soon.  Until then he would just stay put.  

Have to adjust my last post.  Per the DM we cannot use agents to contact each other and Ghalan has no walkie so he could not have received Casino's message or replied to him.  Basically he is out of touch somewhere.

Play By Post

Ghalan ran for his life.  One hit from the auto cannon on the armored vehicel would splatter him all over the street.  A luckily places narrow alley gave him a chance to slip away and find entrance to a building.  His arm was still sotre from having to break in but pain meant he was still alive so he tried his best to ignore it.  Once he found a spot to catch his breath he tried to think of something way to contact the team.  All he had was a general sense of their last location.  It was a long shot but it was all he had so he made his towards the last place the group was together.

"Yeah, you killed me.  Job well done, no need to stick around!"   Ghalan called back hoping to keep the team members at a standoff.  With his escape hole created, he lowered himself and looked down.  First he noticed it was a bit higher than he thought.  Then he saw the armored vehicle still parked below.  A curse ecaped his lips at his misfortune.  But moments later he realized that there was a lack of team members around the vehicel.  Could they have been stupid enough to dismount and enter the garage on foot?  A new plan hatched in the cree-snipers mind.  Doing his best to shimy down the side of the garage he got as low as possible and then dropped, looking for the softest possible landing spot.  If he survived the impact, he would head to the vehicle.  If the sec team was dumb enough to leave an armored vehicle unattended he saw no reason he shouldn't make use of it for his escape.

  With the prospect of several more sec team members and an armored vehicle arriving soon, Ghalan knew he was in a tough spot.  It was possible that with a bit of luck he could defeat the entire sec team, but not the vehicle.  There was really only one choice left; escape.  On the plus side the team had ceased fire and the armored vehicle waslikely on its way up the parking garage and no longer on station below.  He slithered backwards until he reached the chain link fence behind him.  Hopefully the pause while the sec team waited for reinforcements was longer than the time needed to cut the fence.  Working quickly he attempted to burn a hole at the bottom that would alow him to slip under the fencing.  If all went well he would be able to hang from the fence and slide down the side of the garage just far enough to grab the fence below and continued downward in that manner.  If not, he would simply have to drop and hope for the best.  He could possibly die or suffer serious injury but at least he had a chance; if he held his ground he was as good as dead.

In the last 10 seconds things had gone to hell.  Three of the security forces were down but that left perhaps five still in the fight and automatic weapon fire was shredding the car above him.  "Last chance, no one has died yet.  You guys grab your wounded budies and pull back and it might just stay that way"  He knew there was littel chance they would take up the offer but he figured it couldn't hurt to try.  Knowing his spot was compromised, Ghalan worked quickly.  Angling his body he sought to target the two agents hiding to his left behind the red skull painted car.  Even in a firefight it was interesting what he noticed.    

   The offered bribe was not accepted.  Ghalan had hoped a bit of credit would difuse the situation bt it seemed the leader was set on a confrontation.  That thought was confirmed when he announced that in 60 seconds there would be trouble if Ghalan did not turn himself in.  "What kind of idiot gives a countdown?"  Ghalan thought to himself.  Sixty seconds was an eternity for an accomplished assassin.  Ghalan calculated that the two men directly to his front were the most dangerous as he had little cover from them.  Those to his right were at least blocked a bit by the car.  "Alright you win, we wil do it your way.  Just calm down."  Ghalan hoped his answer would cause a moment of pause and maybe even a bit of a relief to th team members.  Deropping into the prone, Ghalan brought his rifle to bear on the legs of the farthest team member.  By shooting under the cars he hoped to hit their more vulnerable legs and take them out of the fight.  He squeezed the trigger and sent the first round away, then a second flash sent another round towards the second team members legs.  Almost by reflex he rolled back under the car for better cover while he sought to target the remaining team members.  

Couple questions before my next post.

1.  Can Ghlahn see the leader who is doing the talking?

3.  What is the light source for the garage?

4.  Are the unit folks in dart gun range?

5  What is the arc thrower?

Gonna be somebody not happy in the coming moments.  Not sure who, but somebody.  Maybe no bloodshed.
