The gibbering old man let them to a cottage.  A cottage currently surrounded by the undead.  Pants took hold of the man and he pleaded for the party to save his family.  Even going so far as to ask for a weapon to lead the attack.  Midge was not sure the man was completely stable but then again he was in danger of losing his entire family.  A family that very well could already be dead and soon to join the ranks arrayed before them.  At least five of the undead wandered outside and with the door destroyed it was likely more were lurking inside.  As his companions drew weapons for close combat, Midge thought it a bit safer to keep clear.  His hands wove an intricate pattern and he called for aid from the tiniest of creatures.  Things that creepy and flew, but and stung these were his weapons.  At his bidding a swarm gathered.

  The visit to the local priestess yielded no new information.  A single fresh grave and from days ago did not match with the risings.  Perhaps the answers lay ouside the town.  "Do we venture onward as there appears to be nothing to be gained in this town?"

I believe we have a maintenance type clone.  Not really a moral officer job.  

Maybe one of us should crawl underneath and make sure it it safe before we all get on.

Brighte followed along and came to the door a few seconds after those in front of him.  For a moment Brighte2 hd a moment fo fear that there would be some kind of laser guarding the door but that was just sily.  Why would friend computer put a laser on a door.  Sometimes Brighte2 wondered where his imagination came from.  Two team members got shocked atemptign to open teh door before the jackobot stepped in a provided the required information to the control panel.  Brighte2 did notice that the jackobot did not share the mission number with the team.  That bit of information along with the sarcasm and almost certain purposeful way in which it allowed two team members to be shocked made Brighte2 question its motives.  Was it really working for friend computer?  He woudl certainly need to keep an eye on this jackobot. 

Midge was disappointed that the search turned up nothing.  A mage should have had something useful.  Perhaps someone else had already ben here or the mage had another storage area.  Either way it was obvious there was nothing of value here.  He returned to the others to make future plans.

The jackobot seemed a bit worn and tired.  Brighte2 wondered how important it really was due to its apearance and the fact that this team was assigned escort duty.  "Greetings, do you happen to know Jackobot Jim?  He is a really interesting jackobot.  Of course there are probably lots of jackobots so maybe you don't know him.  Have you ever seen a jackolope?  A jackobot with a pet jackolope would be pretty interesting."

I thought I added a medical officer but still not showing on the roster.  I did the add character button.

So far so good.  The crowd dispersed without incident and the security forces seemed to content.  But, after some time Ghalan noticed some flashes of lights and heard the tromping of boots.  He couldn't think of any good outcomes form meeting the boots.  Carefully he gathered his gear and looked for an opportunity to sneak away,  He was ready to fight if he had to but he preferred to avoid drawing attention to himself.

It is very hard to get someone to DM a campaign around a single player's character wants.  The age of the character would make it a challenge.  NPCs would be unlikely to interact with her or treat her as anything other than a random kid.  Other players would have to agree to basically be guards for her or somehow interested in preserving her life or they would have no reason to have her in a party.  

Downward and onward.  That wasn't the way he remembered the saying but who knows.  Things went from bad to smelly.  Brown water with " Tootsie roll rafts" was making it hard to keep up morale.  Perhaps a rendition of "old black water" would help or it might just draw more afternoon to their situation.  Brighte2 kept quiet . Then a speaker appeared and a voice that belonged to a drive- thru worker with a head cold and a mumbling problem have the team an update.  Unsure of what was actually said but he hopest he team leader did.  

Dr Greyson heard the briefing concerning the los of contact with the Pluto Station.  Headquarters had altered their assignement and the crew was to make way to determine the origion of the contact loss.  This was not a normal mission for the ship or crew.  It was not equiped with a combat mix of crew members and provisions would be short for any type of extended mission.  Returning to sick bay, Doc took stock of the medical supplies.  He had more than adequate supplies for an escort mission where the crew would be plagued with the normal flus, minor injuries and one or two serious injuries.  But, if they ran into any type of combat engagement the supplies would be exhuasted quickly.  "Alright everyone lets gather by bed three.  You may have heard rumors but I am letting you know our mission has changed.  Fleet is sending us to investigate loss of contact with Pluto station.  It could be a simple case of equipment failure of the commo gear.  Or, it could be something much worse.  Either way our jobs remain the same, keep the crew healthy and fit for duty.  I want a complete rundown of trauma supplies and shortages.  Lets set up bed one as a trauma bed and keep it empty.  I know some of you are veterans and I expect you to pass on your knowledge to our new medics.  Those of you who are new, I am confient you have all the skills necessary to excel.  That's it, get to work.  I am headed up to the bridge to see if there is any new information."

It seemed that team leader had blown a gasket.  He blamed the team for getting killed.  Was he not aware that the team leader was responsible for everything that happens?  Brighte2 wondered.  He placed his hand on the clone in front of him and felt a hand on his shoulder.  Of course he continued singing as that was not talking and it boosted morale.  "Following the leader, the leader, the leader.  Following the leader wherever he may go."

Blowz2 is creeping me out also .  No idea what he might do next.  ROFL

     Ghalan watched as the security teams rolled up on the crowd.  The arrival of several tons of steel usually dispersed people pretty quickly.  he warning announcement was at such a low level hat he wondered if some of the crowd even heard it.  His own hearing allowed him to hear it easily.  Figuring it was time to update the others he reached for his radio.  It was not there.  "That stupid Bloodbank" he muttered.  The medic had taken the radio and left Ghalan alone with no means of communication.  Taking a moment to think he calculated that it shoudl take the group at least 45 minutes to make their way into the building and find what they were looking for.  He had time.  For the moment he would simply stay put and keep watch.  If he was lucky he would see the others leaving the building.  If not he would wait one hour and then make his way back to their last meeting place.  

Brighte2 wiped a bit of what was Slipee of his cheek and hosted his laser pistol.  Then he waited for the now familiar announcement and arrival of the culture team and replacement clone.  " He would have slowed is down and compromised the mission; things only a traitor would do.  We all know he would not have wanted to be a traitor.  Now that he has been rebooted he can one more serve friend Computer in full capacity.  It seems someone does not want us to see where we are going.  Maybe Computer wants to make sure we are not exposed to things that would make us question it's wisdom.  It would seem that the conga line might be our best hope." Brighte2 grabbed the shoulder of the nearest companion.  He then broke into a morale raising conga song.  "Day-o, Dayaa-o, daylight gone and me wanna go on."

Brighte checked on Slipped.  It seemed he was burnt behind usefulness.  His continued service to friend Computer was unlikely.  "He is going to require a system reset before we continue' .  There is a momentary flash of light.
