I think that encounter went really well. The party did a bit of talk, then some took action on their own. But the rest of us supported them and in the end the characters are probably a bit more cohesive. Even learned a few secrets about Morrigu.

Nomad, those questions are pretty much exactly why helping them in the first place was an iffy thing. What gain could come of it. Now, we saved a group that could cost us our lives.

Until now the elves were only a concern because some members felt obligated to save them. Now that they have seen Morrigu use magic they have become a liability. Not sure we can afford to chance them tattling on us to the Templars.

Ochit saw the elves react to the spells from Morigu. As expected, they were terrified at the sight of a dark elf wielding magic. This caused him a great measure of concern. Would the escaping elves tell others what had transpired? Would the Templars in turn come to hunt the group? Looking around he saw Kilk was in a bit of trouble and knew that he should help his companion. Closing the distance, Ochit attacked the nearest zombie. The problem of the elves would have to wait.

Ghlahn scanned the way ahead. His experience helped him pick out a few items of note. There was a security camera above the door which he pointed out to the others. "Gotta be careful we stay out of its vision." Before the others had a chance to move he noticed movement, "Patrol car in the AV lane". Looking at the hotel he took in the security. "We'd best avoid the hotel, those guys are packing for trouble. That road requires a toll. Not sure if it matters to us. The escalators and elevator seem equipped with a credchip device. Lucky the stairs are free so..."

At a full sprint, Ochit closed the gap quickly. Suddenly flames flew past him and burned into the zombies. He looked back and saw Morrigu alone on the hill and knew she was the source. Perhaps his question about why the elves fought each other had made a difference in her outlook. But, such a display put her and the group at risk. The elves they were trying to save would certainly have seen her actions. There was no telling how they would react.
Finally reaching his target area, Ochit hit the zombie and it disintegrated. "Smell bad, not strong". Out of breath, he took a moment to catch it. Standing ready he surveyed the scene and thought about his next move.

Ghlahn looked at the door next to the exit sign. "Getting out of the tunnels gives us more options. But, if there is a sec team on the other side of the door we are finished." After a moment's thought he added, "I vote we leave teh tunnels."

Run, run, run. Finally the group stopped, hoping they had put enough distance between themselves and the security team. Glahn saw Bloodbank look at each of them and felt the anger in the man's eyes as they rested on him. "Don't give me that look. I did what needed doing. Besides, that construct of hers wasn't there to play with them either. We all do our job and we all live."

"Not wory, protect both." Ochit took the offered shield and stood ready to keep any harm from reaching Klik. He would not seek trouble but if it came his way, trouble would be dealt with in short order.

Until now Ochot has been watching. He will move to help Doc. Might take him more than one round to get there. However it works out if fine. He just decided to he can help and not fight the undead.

Ochit saw Kilk leave the fighting to tend to an injured elf. He was putting his own life in danger to save a stranger. Such an action was honorable and Ochit knew he had found one who might become a good friend.
Ochit moved to Klik's side. "Make get up. Use shield, keep safe." If Klik would allow it, Ochit would borrow a shield from Klik and do his best to protect him as he worked on the elf.

Ochit heard Morrigu's answer and realized that it was a hatred that was based on something so old that none of the living elves of either race knew the real reason. His own tribe had blood feuds, but they only lasted a generation or two at the most.
"Ochit not fight if not know reason. Grandfathers all dead, fight war for them no more."
He turned his attention back to the fight. He already learned that arrows were not effective against the zombies but that swords seemed to be better. He wondered how a club would work.

Ochit watched as some of his companions charged and others let fly with ranged weapons. He did not have much in the way of ranged weapons and he was no interested in getting into close combat with the living dead. Instead he chose to keep an eye on Morrigu to make sure she didn't wander off. "Why hate elves not dark?" he asked her.

We really need to work together as a group. This whole thing where everyone is posting they have no loyalty to the party, are thinking of killing the party, are going to do their own thing whenever they feel like it or otherwise just causing party conflict is not very conducive to a fun game.

I am thinking Morrigu would never help the elves and Ochit is not going to get into hand to hand combat. He might throw his javalins but that is about it.

I might do a post something like this so as not to actually move the party into combat or move them along.:
"While the party discussed what actions they should take, the zombies and elves continued their battle. Seeing the arrows did not work, the elves switched to swords and their next attack seemed to do more damage as one zombie fell and ceased to move. However, with the distance closed, the zombies were able to strike back and one of the elves took a nasty bite. -do you join the fight or move on?-
You could post this mid week if most or all of us have posted.
