Ghlahn felt a moment of remorse as the dog fell dead. But he had no time to dwell on it. The remaining sec team member from the first team yelled for help while trying to reach the safety of the building. Meanwhile the second sec team seemed content to assess the situation. "That yelling had got to stop." The snipers scope stopped on the wounded man's heart and milliseconds later a bullet flew towards the wounded man. Ghlahn hoped the others were near their objective as it was becoming quite a party out here in the courtyard and Ghlahn did not like parties.

Ghlahn cursed the rain and the sec teams luck. Somehow he had managed to injure but not kill most of the first team. His experience told him that nothing good came of leaving breathing enemies. He needed to finish the job but now he had a greater concern. The second team had unleashed it's dog. Shifting his focus, Ghlahn took aim on the dog. He felt no regret killing the sec team but he hated being forced to kill the dog. Once more death sought a dance partner.

With the time for waiting slipping away, Ghalan knew he had to choose. It was an easy decision really. The possibility of harm to his companions meant the sec team would not see tomorrow. Taking aim at the trail team member, he squeezed the trigger and sent death on its way.

Ghlahn watches the sec teams search and it is obvious they have found something but there is no way to know what they found. After a quick sweep with their lights, the combined team turns and heads back towards the building. Without knowing whether or not the rest of his team is safely inside or not, the sniper is once again faced with a familiar choice. Once more he takes aim through his scope and watches the progress of the sec team. If they get too close to his companions he will have little choice but to eliminate them.

Ghlahn slowly squeezed the trigger. Just before the point of no return, the sec team suddenly stopped and changed directions. The headed towards a tree in the middle of the grounds. They were unaware of how close the angle of death had hovered above them. Ghlahn released the trigger and watched as another sec team, this one with a dog, joined the first and they moved to the wall. What had they found? Ghlahn kept watch through his scope.

The seconds passed as Ghalhn watched the sec team moving. Did they know they had perhaps less than 2 minutes to live? The sniper knew the men could be fathers or husbands, that they certainly were sons, but none of that mattered in this moment. They made the choice of their profession as he had made his. Still, he hoped for some sort of sign that the others had made it safely into the building.

Ghlahn watched the two guards moving in text book fashion. Their kind never wavered from their training and if one had read the book, one could anticipate their next move. Ghlahn had certainly read the book. If they were engaged they would attempt to return fire and call in a report. That report would bring more guards. More guards meant more trouble. But, letting them alone would mean they could walk up on the others and take his companions by surprise. Ghlahn knew he could drop one of them and possibly both of them before they could send a report but he could not be sure.
If the guards came close to leaving his vantage, he would have no choice but to eliminate them. If they turned they would live. Ghlahn focused on the trail guard and would shoot him first hoping his partner might not react immediately and allow a quick second shot at the leader.

As the others made their way to the building, Ghalan took up watch at the top of the ladder. Although it was too low to offer a great vantage point it did offer excellent cover. He had just settled in when a brief glimmer of light caught his eye. It seemed the camera had seen more than the group hoped. A bouncing light could only mean one thing; a security patrol. "Well that plan went to shit quick." he thought. There was no way to warn the others without giving away his position and that suited him just fine. It seemed that he would get a chance to test out the borrowed weapons. He planned to eliminate the patrol or barring that, at least draw them in his direction. His job was to keep the others safe using any means necessary and perhaps even a few means no quite necessary but simply enjoyable.

Ghlan heard the others discussing the plan. His ears perked up when he heard his name and laughed at the claim he could shoot the wings off a fly at the distance to the camera. "More like I could shoot the parasites off the fly's wing. Anything less and why bother to call yourself a sniper." he thought. He knew his plan; shoot the camera. Let the others make a run for it to the building and do their thing while he made sure the expected security guards posed no problems. But he knew the others would never agree to killing. Why they cared so much he couldn't figure. For now, he kept quiet and watched.

Ochit helped search the room and then moved to the door on the right. Rather than stop and listen he knocked on the door and then quickly stepped to the side. If nothing came through the door in a few moments he would open it and see what might be on the other side.

Ghlan wondered how they would sneak into the school. They didn't look like students or parents. After their escapade in the sewers they certainly didn't smell like visitors to a fancy school. Any chance to blend in was pretty much gone. As bad as it was here, there were more things that could go wrong up there. He hoped someone had a good idea.

Ghlahn moved back a bit in the tunnel to find a good spot to make sure they were not followed. Not too far away so he couldn't hear them but not so close that their voices covered up the sounds of someone approaching. He hated being underground. His forte was being perched high above. looking down. Multiple avenues of escape did not exist down here and it would be very easy to be trapped like rats. He hoped one of the others would lead the group out of the tunnels soon.

With his job done, Ghlahn returns to the landing. "Let's go, the others are waiting." Soon both men are back with the group.
Descending into the sewers the smell is exactly what one would expect from an area intended to carry waste. Ghlahn took one whiff and turned off his olfactory sensors, thankful he could ignore the smell. Upon reaching their destination, the group found their way blocked by an iron grate. "I'll watch our backs while you figure out a way past the grate." Ghlahn took up a position about 100m back along their path to make sure they were not followed
