Arruna'dira's blast hit the droid's head and blasted it off. The droid came crashing down upon the floor much like the junk that it had become.

The corridor was cleared, all the enemies had fallen. The Khil stood up cautiously. "My ship is in a hangar on the other side of the ship," he said. "I do not believe we have time to get there."

The embassador looked at Awvoor. "I would very much appreciate your offer, good sir," he said.

I have updated! Round 4 has finished. Three more down and only two left. If you want to change your tactics this is your last chance since I somehow really doubt there will be more than just one more round.

Another update will come this Wednesday and then we can hopefully turn our backs at this mindless battle scene.

EDIT: Did a recount, there's only one adversary left and that would be the combat droid.

The combat droid raised its blaster and took aim at Awvoor. The blast hit his shoulder and left a nasty wound.

Arruna'dira aimed and fired her blaster at the same crusader, hopefully for the last time. It hit his torso and left a burned mark on the Mandalorian's armor, but the crusader was still standing.

"We are called MANDALORIANS!" he yelled and took aim at the Twi'lek. The blast would have hit if Arruna'dira had not moved out of the way.

Kate moved only slightly to get to the crusader who had been stupid enough to attempt to attack it/her. Her vibroblades swung through the air and cut, teared and sawed through the Mandalorian, leaving two awful wound.

Wrrlwarr swung his vibroaxe at the same target as Kate. The axe cut at the torso and the violent strength of the wookie left the crusader in two parts on the floor.
At that same time, Awvoor had fired his blaster at the same target as Arruna'dira had been in a duel against. It was a lucky shot that hit his throat and sent him staggering back before sending him spiralling to the floor.
And at that same time, another crusader tried to fire his blast at Benjamin, who in turn deflected the blast and sent it hurling towards that very same crusader. The blast hit the Mandalorian's torso and he fell back onto the floor.

Benjamin himself just stood there, vigilant and ready in case any blast would come his way.

Ad would have to change targets, but you're pretty much set for the moment.

I was thinking about having it Wednesdays and Saturdays, but Sundays works for me as well. Either way, I'll update tomorrow.

I don't feel so very good after last night's drinking. It's not really bad or anything, since I obviously can post here now, but I'm don't really feel like updating the game just yet. I might do it later tonight after our table-top game, but I will probably not do the update until tomorrow.

Just giving you the heads up.

I have updated! Feel good about it! Two enemies are down, four remain.

I assumed you attacked the same targets since you didn't state any different target.

Some of you may have to decide on new targets, since two of your enemies are fallen.

Anyway, good job so far

The combat droid raised its blaster to fire upon the Khil embassador again. In the nick of time, Benjamin swung his lightsaber and deflected the blast right back at the droid. The blast penetraited the droid's shield and hit the droids torso.

Arruna'dira fired her blaster at the same Mandalorian Crusader as before. The blast hit the Crusader near the chest. The crusader staggered further back, he would not last much longer.

The Crusader raised his blaster to fire at Arruna'dira, hoping to hit that darn Twi'lek at least once. But the blast was in vain and hit the wall left from Arruna'dira.

Kate drew forth her second vibroblade but attacked the droid with her/its other vibroblade. The blade piercer the combat droid's torso, cutting and sawing through electrical wires and internal parts. The combat droid shook violently before crashing down onto the floor.

Wrrlwarr raised his axe high above his head and brought it down upon the crusader in front of him. The Mandalorian screamed in agony as blood spilt all over from the shoulder that the wookie hit.
At the same time as he did, Awvoor took aim and shot at the same crusader. The blast hit the crusader in the neck and sent him twirling down. The screams stopped as he hit the floor of the corridor.
A Mandalorian Crusader fired his blast at the Jedi, hoping that his blast would count for more than the failure of the droid who fired near that target before. It was a stupid move as Benjamin redirected the blast directly back at the Crusader. It threw him somewhat backwards and he nearly lost his balance.

Benjamin still stood vigilant, successful in warding the embassador from enemy blasts.

The last Crusader looked troubled at what was happening to his comrades. He raised his blaster at Kate and fired upon the droid. The blast crossed passed her/it and ended in the wall.

I have two out of four players who have posted and I was thinking of updating tomorrow. I can update tomorrow, no problem, but I wanted to know if Admiral or Ayrn would specifically want me to wait with the update for, like, an extra day.

Either way is fine by me, but if either of you guys really want to post before the update you should let me know if you want me to wait for you.

The armor was damaged (not destroyed) because the wookie attacked with a vibro-axe and dealt some serious damage. Additionally, because the armor is part of a suite, the furry killing machine wouldn't be able to cut him without damaging the suit. Finally, there are still three armors left but all suits except one have been damaged somehow.

No, I admit I did not know about the reduced threshold thingy. We can assume the droid has been reduced by one step. I'll add it onto the list. Thanks for pointing it out

I finally updated the game. Hopefully, I can keep up a steady pace of updates twice per week from now on.

Anyway, I nearly did some serious damage to one of you guys (whole 5 hitpoints!) if it hadn't been for Kate's SR

The battle should be nearing its end, at least two of the enemies are seriously hurt.

Everything was happening so fast. The combat droid that had fired at Wrrlwarr shifted its aim towards the Khil embassador. However, Benjamin deflected the blast right back at the droid. It was like the blast went directly through the droid's shield and it staggered back as its torso sparked from the blast.

Arruna'dira raised her blaster and shot into the enemy group. The shot was not very accurate and hit the Mandalorian in the right foot.

The soldier was injured, but not out of the game. He raised his blaster to fire at Arruna'dira, but his arm and leg would not allow him to raise it high enough and the blast hit the floor some feets away from his target.

Kate came charging towards the droid she/it had attacked just a second before. The vibroblade pierced into the droid, cutting and sawing at the droids internal workings. Sparks came flying out as the vibroblade cut through electrical wires.

Only few inches after Kate came Wrrlwarr, the giant, furry warmachine, swinging his vibro axe at one of the crusaders. The vibro axe cut at the crusader's torso, easily cutting through the armor he wore.
The cut was followed by a blast from Awvoor. The blast nearly singed the wookie's fur, but got right passed him and into the crusader's shoulder.

A crusader fired his blaster at Awvoor, but the blast missed and hit the wall beside him.

Benjamin still stood vigilant, ready for any blast that would come his way.

The combat droid that Kate had attacked raised its other arm and revealed a clawed appendage. With the clawed arm, the combat droid attacked Kate, only to be stopped by Kate's shield generator.

The crusader that both Wrrlwarr and Awvoor had attacked was badly shaken. His armor was cut open and red from his own blood. He dropped his blaster and quickly pulled out his mace in an attempt to hit Wrrlwarr with it. He swung his mace with was much force as he could muster, but he hit nothing but air.

The last crusader fired his blaster at the wookie, but the blast was too far off to hit anything.

I'm afraid I have things to do today and tonight I'm going to some festivities that the English department of my University is having. The things I have to do today is actually related to that as I'm part of the entertainment.

There will be an update tomorrow, after which I will try to update every Wednesday and Saturday. This is, of course, subject to change due to some unforseen events (like school stuff).

I will update tomorrow, or else I will ask someone to kick me in a soft spot.

I'm so very sorry for this extended delay.

Topic: Burning Wheel - a game log
Subject: First session

We had our first session last night. I thought it was fun, and the rest of the group thought so too, but one player did mention a thing or two that I could do better. Oh, well.

Additionally, the guard character's player could not make it due to a friend of his was moving in with him. We won't have another session for a week, at which time he will have just gone to London for a whole week. That lucky bastard. All those gaming shops.

Anyways, because of that previously mentioned moving, another player couldn't make it until later, so we didn't start until then. We started with finishing the characters. We have the 11 year old girl that everything revolves around, Kerralyn Darstan, aka Bree. We have the charming, manipulative tax-collector, Dunstan. Finally, we have Melora, a travelling elven princess (except she isn't actually a princess, but comes from a good family).

I wanted to start the game after the three had managed to get to know each other, but Bree's player started roleplaying as if Dunstan and Melora had just found her. Seeing as how Bree isn't supposed to be very trusting, that created some interesting and uncomfortable roleplaying. (Melora's player isn't much for actual roleplay and is a bit shy. She told me this after the game so I'll try and fix it for her.)

After some feeding and bathing, Bree began to trust the elf a bit more, specially after hearing stories about her father as a child (Melora is 212 years old and was in Bree's grandfather's service for a while). However, Melora managed to grab the attention of the city's guards. Not many elves visit the city, and even fewer make it a habit of visiting the slums regularly. She tricked them into believing she was there just to help those in need, but now she had the guards watching her every move.

The group managed to get out of the city without any trouble and made their way towards the next town or city. The trip would take them days, and on their way they came to a village. The clouds looked like it was about to rain, as evidently had happened recently, and they didn't know how far it would be to the next inn, so they decided to stay in the village's inn. Each house had the windows and doors shut, and wooden spears guarder every wall. They asked a stable boy about it, who warned them about staying in this village, but the innkeeper couldn't have disagreed more.

After helping a couple to find their lost boy (who they were searching for as if the sky was falling), they found out that a troll had been attacking the village. Hence the wooden spears. Most recently, it had attacked a carriage full of hay and killed the horse. They also found out that the troll only attacked when the sun wasn't in the sky, such as when thich clouds were covering the sky or when it was dark.

Since clouds were in the sky and it was closing to evening, the group decided they would be safer staying at the inn for the night. That was pretty much where we stopped the session.

Our next session won't be until next sunday, so stay tuned for more adventure next week. Who knows? Maybe I'll write something more exciting then

They are wearing Mandalorian combat suits. Unfortunately, I won't be telling you exactly how the suit works because I don't see a reason why you should know. However, you can safely assume there's more about their suits than just armor.

I would not recommend trying to get your hands on it though, under these circumstances at least. Removing the battlesuit could take up to few minutes (2-3 maybe). It may not seem like much, but during a battle such as this one you never know if and when more of them will get to where you are. Plus, carrying the battlesuit means you'll have both arms occupied if you get attacked again.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't, just saying that I wouldn't recommend it. You could get away with it.

I've updated as keen eyes may have noticed.

Additionally, on page 4 of this thread, I added the total hit points lost in this fight so far (see the initiative order). That way, you know how much damage you have dealt in total and how much you have lost.

I will continue doing this so keep an eye out for that 4th page. If anyone gets a specific condition, such as being stunned, I'll also add that onto the list.

Subject: Blasts are a-blastin'

As blasts start flying through the corridor, someone is bound to get hit. The ambassador makes his way behind a pillar as instructed by his Jedi bodyguard.

Awvoor fired his heavy blaster pistol. The blast hit the crusader in the shoulder and he staggered back.

The first battledroid to fire aimed his blaster rifle at Wrrlwarr. The shot was well calculated and hit the wookie close to the chest.

Arruna'dira shot her blaster at the crusader nearest to them (although not by much) and hit him near the hip.

The crusader screamed in agony, but pulled himself together to aim and fire his own blaster. The blast was aimed at his attacker, but only barely missed. Arruna'dira could feel the heat from the blast on her cheek.

Kate's drawn blaster aimed at one of the combat droids. The blast from 'her' blaster hit the droid's torso area but the droid's shield took most of the damage.

Wrrlwarr raised his bowcaster and fired it at the same crusader as his Ithorian friend. The wookie hit the crusader in the torso and badly injured his target.
At the very same time, however, that same crusader had fired his own weapon at Arruna'dira. The blast flew passed the Twi'lek and far into the corridor before being stopped by a wall.

Benjamin stood vigilant as he directed the ambassador to find cover. If any blast would come his way he would intercept it and direct it right back at the Mandalorians.

The second droid took aim, interestingly enough at the Jedi. The blast came directly towards Benjamin, who successfully deflected and redirected the blast back to its source. The droid's shield would have taken most of the blast, if Kate's blast had not damaged it just earlier.

The two crusaders that are left both fire into the group. The first blast is aimed at Awvoor but the crusader could just as well have been aiming at the ceiling. The second blast is aimed at Wrrlwarr, but the blast does nothing but singe the wookie's fur.

Topic: Burning Wheel - a game log
Subject: Burning Wheel - a game log

So last night we started using the Burning Wheel system. I am actually very excited because this is a game I have been wanting to try out for more than a year now, and I just ordered the books shortly after last Christmas.

The system can be very simple: roll however many d6 you are supposed to and count the successes. The more successes, the better. Additional rules can make it more complex, but makes the game more cool.

The system is also very player-friendly, and it encourages the group to work together in almost everything (no hidden stats, no hidden dice, combined effort in creating the setting, etc.)

Last night we created the setting. I decided to write down few questions to ask the players to make the setting-creation go smoother. All in all, it took us maybe 20-30 minutes to get a rough idea of what the setting was like. We had a very mixed setting, with several kingdoms and countries with all kinds of rulers and religions. We had a setting where magic is rare among humans, but not so rare among elves. All kinds of magical creatures exist and a common language exists over multiple other languages (so each country has its own language, but there's an additional language that is common nearly everywhere).

The character creation took much longer. We started creating characters around 8pm and some did not manage to finish after midnight. It was of course expected since it was a new system and we only had 2 books for 4 players. But we did get something done.

In our group we have a young girl with Anastasia complex. Her royal family was killed in a coup and only she and her older brother managed to survive (but her brother is imprisoned). She is only 11 years old, and seriously younger and weaker than the rest of the group.
Another character in the group is a guard that was a prisoner of war during the coup set against he royal family. He just recently escaped and found his way to the little girl, whom he has sworn to protect.
The third character is also human. I have to admit I lost track of exactly what kind of character it is, but he is a lier and a cheater who intends to use the girl for his own advantage.
The last, but not least, is the elf of the group. The only character who is not human, so her player got to create the elven society by herself. The elf is the daughter of an elven elder of the upper council and she herself is a member of the lower council. She is 212 years old, has traveled most of the known world and has made her way to the little girl. Apparently, she swore her service to the girl's grandfather or great-grandfather some dozens of years ago and she intends to serve the girl as well.

Tomorrow, we intend to meet again and officially start this game of ours. I'm looking forward to it, specially since I think we have a really cool group of characters. I'll return to this log once we have finished the session

Because of the lack of interest that our last gaming night generated, and a growing interest in playing Burning Wheel, we decided not to spend more time on Spycraft and begin creating characters for Burning Wheel.

So, unless we someday decide to finish the Spycraft game, this gaming log has pretty much ended. I'll start a new log for our Burning Wheel game, though, so stay tuned.

I would say that, yes, it would be a suicide for whoever does the flying. But you probably don't know that since you don't know what the Mandalorians are after.

The ambassador ship may be armed and it may be relatively fast, but there are more than just one Mandalorian ship out there. I would say at least a dozen. Defending the ambassador ship would be a tough job indeed, but not completely impossible.

I would not suggest a PC to do it, though.
