I am glad that I have earned the right to have a custom title, even if that "title" is more of an order directed to all the active Icelandic members of the Inn (which currently count as 1 as far as I know).

I am very happy that I have it and I would not want to change it or be rid of it.

Also, are we not all witches at heart?

Obviously, none of us heard that. It is called reading.

I'm just rambling pointlessly at this point that has no point for pointlessness so don't point at me.

We all know how much you looove Ricky Martin (3 "O"s for the extra love)

Personally, I don't focus on genres when I'm listening to music, so I wouldn't know what counts as pop music.

Apparently, not many of you (I don't think any) specifically stated that you were going down and into your ride. Just want to know if I am free to assume that you did or if you want to do something more in the penthouse.

The idea was that you wake up with this power, not that you found it in the backyard. The former is critical to the story I had in mind. Aliens and extradimensions won't have any part in this game. Sorry man.

I've been here for almost 2 years, have more than 1,000 posts and 4 articles, and only just recently got anything resembling a title (which can't really be called a title, but it resembles it). I believe activity on the Inn should varrant a title, activity which should translate to post count and what you do for the Inn (such as staff members).

That being said, you could try being daddy's little princess and ask Olan

Finally another WoD guy, we are too few

I have a Requiem for Rome-to-Modern game going at the moment which you are free to join in and I am currently recruiting for D&D v3.5 if you're interested. If you want to try something new, I'm also recruiting for a Burning Wheel-lite game that focuses of the Mouse Guard and a Mutants & Masterminds game.

If you are interested in any of this you are free to PM me about joining or check the recruiting threads. Welcome to the Inn and enjoy your stay

Apparently I wasn't awfully missed, but I am back either way which means that I will return to updating my games very soon (but not today). If any of you want to get a post in before then, I suggest you hurry up.

This doesn't actually teach you the rules, but it does give you a small hint at how it works (nothing in detail). It's a free, online system reference. Might help if you are interested, but it may also raise a lot of questions (which I'm sure many DMs will be happy to answer for you).

Welcome to the Inn! Nice to see you! Hope you enjoy and become a regular for many years to come!

It's too bad you are mainly looking for a freeform game, 'cos I'm currently recruiting for a D&D game

I recommend Babaloo's game, though, even if I'm not in it. It looks really promising

...and the End shall begin with twice the holy...
-unknown author

There is no prologue to this game, it begins merely days or hours after you find out that your every, normal day is not so normal.

The day began however you intended it to begin, but then something happens. You move faster than you should, your stronger than you were, you feel invincible, you feel invisible, you move through objects, you fly. Whatever it is, it scares you. That is all you know.

This is a game of M&M 2nd edition. If you wish to learn the system, you can PM me. I need no more than 7 players. 7 would be ideal, but less can be workable. What's at stake? End of the world.
This is a Power Level 8 game. Having multiple, unrelated powers is discouraged, but not entirely banned. Magic is not allowed. Devices are not allowed. I may ban certain powers or limit them somehow (but I will be fair in doing so).

All characters must have at least a single Complication (M&M p. 122) or one Drawback (M&M p. 124). The Drawback can have any rating.
Note that you are not heroes at the start of the game. You are pretty much an average (make a special note of the word) guy/gal who happens to wake up with super powers. You've had these powers for less than a week, probably less than a day. It is even possible you haven't realized this before.
What happens then? Weird things. Prophecies, unknown agency, weird guys on the streets. This is a global phenomenon, so you are not limited to a single city or country.

Things are going to be very weird. What will you do?
Anyone interested?

Oversized creatures would be cool, even if not dragon. Thing is, there aren't really that many creatures that I can think of who are Gargantuan or Colossal and not a dragon. Tarrasque is the only one I can think of from the top of my head.

I'd love to see Colossal Silver Dragon. Unlikely, sure, but you asked.

I'd also like to see Tiamat (as in THE Tiamat), the Tarrasque, and to see Bahamut would be cool. Since I don't have my books near me, that's all I can think of for now.

Topic: Keeping PC's alive
Subject: Funny how I did not see this sooner

I have killed PCs before. I have (accidentally) killed a PC in the very first hour of the very first story. It was accidental, I was still kinda new at this, set them up against overwhelming odds, the other two players somehow managed to kick ass.

If it's one thing I've learned in this business, it is NOT how to make the perfect challenge for the players. I doubt there is such a thing as a perfect challenge. I attempted to set my group of evil PCs against rebel gnomes hiding in the sewer system of a city, they blew up the city (in all fairness, they got rid of the gnomes)

I try to keep them alive however I can. I lie about the roll if I have to. I don't often do it anymore, because my current group of evil PCs (who are serving the previously mentioned evil PCs) avoid direct combat as much as possible. Even then, those they meet are more often than not worse fighters than they are.

I think I forgot the question.....

Welcome to the Inn, glad to see you here.

Your game sounds interesting, but unfortunately I'm not much of a player
If you are looking for a game to play in, and are interested enough in learning a different system, I'm recruiting for a game of Mouse Guard called Year of the Mouse.
It may not be as big or epic as your game, but you get to play a talking mouse with a weapon.

Anyways, wish you luck with your game

By the way, Kilmorrigan, that map is awesome

Anime is more than style, it's also origin. You wouldn't call a New Yorker an African tribesman just because he dresses up like one, would you?

I really don't think Teen Titans or Avatar: the Last Airbender are anime. Cool cartoons, sure, but not anime. No matter how cool it is, to me anime have to be Japanese to count (in which case, every Japanese cartoon is anime regardless of crappiness). But I'm not going to make a big deal out of it.

Since we here in Iceland celebrate Christmas with presents about 12 hours before many of you (6pm on Christmas Eve), I wanted to use this opportunity to wish you all merry Christmas and good fortune on the new year that is increasingly coming closer.

Merry Christmas and happy new year!

P.S.: We should have a Christmas smiley or something...

Tomorrow morning (read Noon) I'll be heading out to my hometown Akureyri. I will be staying there for Christmas and New Year's Eve and I'll be back sometime in the following week.

I assume I will have access to a computer and internet but because it is Christmas, and I'll have people around for the most part of the day, I expect I won't be online as much as I have been lately. That means I may not update either of the two games I'm GMing. In case of such development, I hope I will be forgiven, blah, blah, blah...

Anyways, just giving you the heads up.
