Here's a thought that I'd like to see:

A group picture of the cast of Loaded Dice with their characters in the background, or vice versa. I think it would be pretty cool

(Note, this was the first thing I could think of )

The song's pretty good and the webisodes sounded interesting so I watched the first episode. It's kinda cool so far so I think I'll watch some more of this.

Interesting.

Speaking of which, why is the world which the comic's characters play in not Audalis? I think it is too big part of RDI not to include it in the comic.

If it is, why on earth have I not noticed it?

In a game where the characters are able, I sometimes like to start a game at the very end of their last adventure. Sort of like doing it backwards: Instead of going from the tavern to an adventure they go from the adventure to the tavern. They've never actually gotten to the tavern though.

I also like the "wake up in your wedding" scenario. I'll definitely use that someday

There is a critical threat table in the Dragon Compendium, but me and my group rarely use it except for when we want some changes. It is fun, specially if you combine it with a fumble table also included and double critical your partner. It has not yet happened, but speculations on the subject have been entertaining.

Still, we rarely use it.

Seriously, I think the two-handed sword beats the two-handed axe. I don't have the books with me so I can't be certain, but the great sword beats the waraxe, that much I do know.

Subject: hmm

First of all, congratulations for tricking me into posting to someone else's thread for the first time in couple of months. For that, I will Applaud thee.

Too business. At a glance, I like it. After a closer look, I found a problem with using it: If I intend to print out the sheet, it won't come out as cleaned and nifty as a good charactersheet should. In fact, it will come out all messed up.

By "all messed up" I am referring to the fact that the Skills will carry on to page 2, which will send most of the sheet out of alignment.

Other than that, this is pretty cool

Subject: Not gone, but not a-comin'

So I believe I owe a lot of you an apology and an excuse for my recent comings and goings but lack of activity.

I have long work hours so I asked for patience while I was adapting to my new schedule. Now I have adapted.

Then I had computer problems as I was upgrading my computer. They are now fixed.

What excuse do I have now? None, except that I just haven't gotten back into the mood of online role-playing. It has been two months and I have not been very active, and I blame my lack of "role-playing groove".

So here is what will happen to my games and the ones I play in:

Dark Masques will be on hiatus at least until my job period ends at the end of August. Then I will probably take few days to get back into mental working order before that game continues.

Dungeon of the Unhallow is hereby cancelled. This is just too much work for me to get back to after such a long hiatus, so I really doubt that I will continue this. If someone else wants to take the mantle of the game's DM, I can e-mail most or all of the stuff I've made so far. I am really sorry about ending this game because of all the work I put on the players. I hope I will eventually be forgiven.

As for the games I play in, I doubt I will participate more until the end of the summer. Until then, my characters can be NPCed, killed or taken over by another player without me taking it personally. It's just how things go.

Hope I haven't offended anyone or pissed someone off with my absence. I will probably continue popping up every now and then, but it will mostly be because the Inn is my startup page.
Again, I am sorry for my absence.

By fixing it myself (or not entirely, or at all, really...) I have denied you your just satisfactory feeling you get when you have successfully helped someone with a problem said someone finds very important. And that is bad

I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I will not be needing any more of your help, although I appreciate what help I have recieved

The good news is that I am currently using my own computer

A friend of mine came by with another instalation disc for WinXP with SP2, which apparently is what was needed. So my computer is up and working (need to install some stuff though) and I should be able to start posting semi-full time on coming Monday. Hurray for technology

Again, thanks for your help guys.

Might work, but Microsoft doesn't have an official office here in Iceland that I know of and phoning out would be both expensive and confusing. My English may not be crapish but I don't speak Geek very well.

I did talk to the store that sold me the new hardware and their advice didn't help much. I did what they suggested and the problem persists.

Subject: Fix my computer please!

If some of you read my away post that I added to the forum last weekend, you might know that I had a problem with my computer at the time. I still do.

Here's a short but detailed story:
In order to run some of the newer computer games that are currently on the market (GTA IV and Sims 3 most notably) I decided to upgrade my computer. I bought a new motherboard, a new video-card and some other stuff. Basically, the only things I did not replace were the hard drive, the case and the power supply thing (I'm not geeky enough to know all the technical jargon). The computer worked fine, except I had no connection to the internet.

I got two of my friends to check it out, both are geeky in the ways of the computer so I figured they could solve my problem. One didn't know what was wrong, the other suggested I would make a copy of all the stuff I wanted to keep off my hard-drive and reinstalled Windows.

That brings me up to my current problem. I have cleaned my hard-drive and for the last week and a half I've been trying to install Windows XP but all it does is clean out the computer, copy some files and start all over again. I have tried removing the disc but all that does is start a hellish cycle of restarting the system.

So, in desperation of getting my computer to work again, I turned to Windows Vista (like I said, desperate), but it's not going so well either. This copy of vista is purely legal, mind you. After I have entered the product key, vista wants to install some drivers, but it doesn't find any. I try putting the install discs for my new hardware into the machine but still nothing is found (if it matters, I have to remove the vista disc before I put the drivers into the CD/DVDROM).

The message I get is "No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK." I know the installation discs work because 1) they came with the hardware and 2) I used them to install the drivers before the computer cleanout.

I want to get my computer up and running, but with 12 hours shifts it is hard to get any descent help at a descent time. So, I naturally assume that I can find someone at the Inn who has hidden knowledge about the interior of a computer and that said person is willing to give me some assistance.

If any of you have any idea what I might be doing wrong and what I can do to fix it, I would really appreciate the assistance if you are willing to give it.

I remember when I was a kid, about 5 years old, I really enjoyed the music of Michael Jackson. His music from 1980's was great and I still enjoy it today.

For that reason alone, I think he deserves a bit more than a shrug and a change of subject.

Also, I am certain than Farrah Fawcett will be sorely missed by her fans. Although I didn't know who she was until this morning, a sad day has been made even sadder by this loss.

Not sure how many of you might have notice, but it's been a while since I posted anything on the forums. This is mainly because of internet and computer problems.

I bought a new motherboard, video card and sound card for my computer in order to handle the newer games on the market (namely GTA IV and Sims 3), and had a friend install it. At first the internet wouldn't work so I had another friend help me with that problem. I did as he suggested and reinstalled Windows XP, but now I can't get my computer to work at all.

Because of my brilliant work schedule, this has taken me a week to do, and now I'm just waiting for a chance to get more help with my computer. Hopefully I will get it in working order this weekend and then get posting like a bunny on drugs

To those in my Star Wars game and my fellow players in Ayrn's Star Wars game, I apologize for my lack of presence on the Inn.

Game was not updated on Sunday (obviously) and probably won't be for few more days. I'm gonna see what the status on the post count will be this Thursday and maybe update then. If not then, I doubt I'll update before next Monday. Next Monday I doubt you'll have any excuse not to have posted unless you've been without internet for the week, so I expect all of you to have posted by then.

Mars looked at Ara. "Do not underestimate the Jedi," he said, calmer now than before, "I've done that once before and it is a lesson I do not want to learn again. By thinking they no longer exist you have shown how you are not prepaired."

After speaking his mind, Mars sat down again and scratched his rough chin. "We won't be able to move around the station without a disguise, but it leaves us vulnerable if the stormtroopers do find us. We will need weapons close at hand, but hidden from plain sight. It will be tough."

Mars looked towards Ara as the conversation included the Jedi. He felt the blood boil as the image of a Jedi killing his clan-mates lingered in his mind. Mars even completely disregarded any ideas of disguises.

"The Jedi are no myth!" Mars yelled out. "They are dangerous and deserve little more than extinction! Those bantha brains, poodoo!"

He walked a little around the room, trying to calm down, but the image wouldn't leave his mind for a while.

I just updated. I'm not actually a diplomat so Milix attempt at convincing Awvoor may not actually look very diplomatic. Either that or he has a very distinct approach to diplomacy.

Anyway, since the update only deals with Ayrn's post, only Ayrn gets XP. I know it might be a little mean since I know that Loki posted, but then he deleted his post. I would suggest that you do not delete your posts but rather use the Edit feature and leave the post in place.

I'm not trying to be unreasonable, but if I would give you XP for posting and then deleting your post there would be the question of those who have posted and deleted before I ever saw it. It's just not really a good idea I think.

The Rodian looked Benjamin in the eye. "It ain't nothing to worry about, my friend," he said calmly, then turning to Awvoor. "Now, 'bout that payment I promised for the fare. I was in a middle of delivery and ain't gettin' no money 'til the job is done. How 'bout I finish the delivery an' git the money to ya as soon as I'm done?"

Benjamin drew Milix aside and asked him about his plans to get the data card to master Rial Moti. "I am sssorry, massster Jedi," Milix replied, "my plansss end when Mandaloriansss attack my ssship." He then seemed to think for a moment. "Perhapsss doctor help, yesss. Let usss asssk."

Milix walked up to Awvoor, close enough to catch his attention. "Good doctor," he said, "we like you help usss get to Telerath. You assssissst usss, yesss?"
