Topic: Auguries of Destruction: The Linsemptus - Q/A Subject: Thoughts...
Well, it looks like I can update again... however... I'm kind of concerned about the player roster...
As it is, there's only three players: Sib-kun, Vilyamar, and Okron (char will be introduced upon return to Wanqir), so what are your thoughts? Do we need other players, or are we fine with just us?

Topic: Fields of Rune Subject: Dinner?
"Dinner?" Marie asks, the word somewhat foreign to her.
Marie shakes her head, continuing to heal Shepherd, and maintaining the contact between her hands and his body.
Quite simply, Marie replies, "I don't really have to eat."

Topic: Fields of Rune Subject: The Key of Life
Marie could feel the change, even if it wasn't seen. The Taint vanished from her senses, returning the true Essence back to where it belonged in these wolves. She lowers her wand, and sets it in her pocket, quickly moving forward. They had attacked one person, who seemed to be in a good deal of pain.
"Be still." Marie murmurs, "The wounds may be mortal, but I can tend to them."
She holds her hands just a few inches apart, and they begin to glow with a white light. Without hesitation, she places her hands on Shepherd's body, and the wounds begin to close.
"I am afraid my power is slow, so we will have to wait for a while before you are healed completely in body, and spirit." Marie says gently, maintaining contact with Shepherd's body.

Topic: Forgotten Realms: The Unsung Heroes Subject: An overdue post...
Linnix was silent throughout the speech by Bartholomew, which was perhaps strange for the woman. Normally she wasn't ever at a loss for words, but this time, she was.
Just where is my place?
She quietly asked herself that question, but she already knew the answer, looking over toward Aelistae.
My place is by my sister... that is how it should've been before too... with Caera...
Linnix shakes her head, clearing her mind of the thought. No, that was in the past. She could not change the past, even if her heart wanted otherwise. But did she want otherwise? It was because of her choices that she now knew her place, and now she could do the right things, rather than be a measly thief. Still...
Home... it's been a very long time since I've had one... I've had places to stay, but not a home...
Linnix smiled. Yes, she could use a home. She also felt, more than heard or saw, Aelistae also accept the offer. That was all she needed.
"I have only one thing to ask." Linnix said aloud, pulling off her own cloak, "This cloak, although it was made by evil hands, is very useful for me. I'd like it if it were cleansed, and made to match the others. Although it was made by evil, it can do good now instead."
Linnix smiled, "Yes, I am too accepting your offer."

Topic: Fields of Rune Subject: Safe... for now...
Just as she thought, the wolves left her be... she is but a single, small person, and the wolves had larger prey of which to chase. Marie shakes her head. Did she need to be involved?
Marie smiles as the answer comes to her. Yes. She might as well. In any case, she was perhaps the safest, even if she did join the plight.
Slowly, she makes her way down from the tree, returning to the town. She straps her rapier to the side of her belt, but keeps her wand ready, before walking up along the street, looking ahead. There was the woman, Zau, who had spoken to her before, as well as another, who was fighting the wolves in a rather direct manner, and the wolves indeed are in between her and the two mortals. A couple of them catch her scent, and turn toward her, but she doesn't show fear, instead only raising her wand.
From the tip of the wand is an explosion of light, and a stream of colour shoots from it, impacting the first wolf hard, and knocking it to the side. Marie nods to herself. It wouldn't die, for she did not will the wand to use lethal force; instead it would exhaust the wolf's body.
"With one blow exchanged, now I am tied to this conflict." Marie murmurs, "And I know which side I have chosen."

Topic: The Pawsteps to Salvation Subject: Hmm...

Topic: The Pawsteps to Salvation Subject: Patrol Results...
Tear re-emerges from the shadow, although her appearance is very subtle, even to those who are looking for it, mainly due to her black fur.
Clearing her throat, Tear murmurs, "The humans are moving in two waves, one from the southwest, the other from the southeast. They evidently expected resistance, since they are obvious military units, but finding none, they are moving slowly, cautious. Much of the wildlife has already moved toward the middle and northern regions of the forest. I believe that's about all that's of interest."
Tear looks to the others, interested in how they react to her report.

Topic: The Day They Woke Up on the Wrong Side of Reality Subject: Beware my use of static electricity!
Galen quickly scans over the combat zone, taking into consideration viable options, before choosing the most applicable one.
Nodding to himself, Galen holds his index and middle finger extended on his left hand, drawing in the air a shape that one might say is an oval, as representative of the number zero. As his two fingers form the zero, small sparks seem to fly between the two, and he quickly murmurs the incantation.
Gectwd ao wsg hq etvkau!
With that, a lowly spark of electricity, a miniature lightning bolt, fires from his fingertips toward the enemy...

Topic: A Local Legend - An Audalis Short Adventure Subject: Doesn't sound right indeed...
Ocyari regards the bartender carefully. It didn't sound right to her, and she had known far less shifty but more untruthful people in her life. Was the shiftiness caused by distrust, untruthfulness, or just nervousness in the presence of outsiders? The first and second are far more probable, considering his occupation, where he'd have to deal with many strangers...
Ocyari shifts just slightly, fidgeting enough so that the bartender's eyes would be caught by her movement, before she looks into his eyes.
"Surely you wouldn't mind elaborating, would you? If you wish to tell a joke, it should have some more background, and of course some sort of punchline." Ocyari says, her voice calm and almost gentle, "I could even help you come up with it, if you wish, such a thing is a good way to initiate conversation after all."
(a sense motive for me...)

Topic: The Pawsteps to Salvation Subject: Ah
Tear nods understandingly, "If you need time alone, just say so; we shouldn't have to use excuses among each other when we mean certain things. That way, meanings will come across with more clarity, and with clarity, understanding. Without that, misinterpretations are easy."

Topic: Poetry of Reralae Subject: Cheshire's Day
If I am mad, then I can see,
All those little holes in reality
Call me insane, and you'd be right,
But read my lips: it will be alright.
A smile here and a smile there,
What better way to get through the air?
A riddle yes, or a riddle no?
The answer is neither, don't you know?
I'll bid you adieu to your own plight,
But right now it is Cheshire's night.
So listen or not and I'll tell you a tale,
Do not fear, it will end without fail.
It begins in the woods of a mad place,
What else would one expect from Wonderland's face?
Two frowns through the woods you can see,
The faces of both Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
Argue, oh my, such a ridiculous sight,
One mad plight during the mad night.
And with both sides dearly holding a frown,
Clearly only one way did the argument go down.
"A tale that lasts forever will go on and on, you see,"
So said Tweedledum to Tweedledee.
"But not if the teller chooses it to end,"
Tweedledee said to his twin and friend.
So I said, "Hold this discussion, if you please,
For sooner or later your faces will freeze."
And so to my dismay, I really was right,
For their faces froze as a result of their fight.
Stuck with a frown in a world that is mad,
The twins quickly came about and really were sad.
As best as I could, I directed the pair,
To go see both the Hatter and the Hare.
To the tea party we went, following the path with ease,
For us, getting around Wonderland is a breeze.
With the scent of tea in the air,
We quickly found the March Hare.
"Today is a sullen day, with only a cup of tea,"
So said the March Hare, not happy, really.
So asked, did I, "So then, what is today?
For you are here while the Hatter's away."
"Hatter? He's gone on a business trip,"
So said the March Hare, taking another sip,
"As for the day, well, let's just say,
It's not my Unbirthday today."
What, for shame, the Hare sounded sane!
It's not like the date would bring him pain.
Tweedledum then said, "Even though you may be down,
Do you know a cure for a face-frozen frown?"
In response, the Hare pointed to a kettle that is blue,
"One cup of tea, or maybe two, and you will be as good as new."
Having no reason to stay of which I was aware,
I simply vanished into the air.
Along the path I choose to stray,
For I never do lose my way,
But hearing a thump and a sigh,
I choose to take a look and - oh my.
Ah, the familiar sound of 'I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!'
When will that rabbit learn that it is simply its fate?
Of course, fate doesn't matter to one such as I,
For I am simply mad even though I don't try.
"Now where are you going in such a big hurry?
Are you going to stop for even carrot curry?"
That is my question which I gave to he,
But he hustled and bustled and forgot to answer me.
So rude and impolite that I choose to say,
"Tell me, is it the Queen you are visiting today?"
Between gasps and breaths he gave a reply,
"Yes, and I must hurry or I will die!"
Oh, such is the life of one White Bunny,
He hustles and bustles and can't even be funny.
One has to wonder is he even insane?
For he runs in both shine and rain!
Still, he's no fun, so I choose to go away,
I even gave the Queen a visit that day,
So bored was I that I gave in to sane,
Or maybe not, because I wasn't vain.
What does vanity have to do with being sane?
I know that question is in your brain.
Now now, not understanding isn't sad,
It's just simply proof that I am mad.
Anyway, back to the story I will go,
For I have more people to tell, don't you know?
Now, back to my visit with the Queen,
To be honest, she really isn't mean.
True, she always says, 'Off with their head!'
But it doesn't always mean they will be dead.
I mean, look at me, I can separate at the neck,
But why do other people have to be such a wreck?
So said I, "Oh, Queen I have come to see,
Your rather ill-tempered majesty."
Of course, my greeting was rather well met,
By her screech of what you'd expect.
So, I simply took my head off to her,
And her face was picture-perfect, that's for sure.
As I quickly did my welcome, I decided to go,
For the sky greyed and decided to snow.
Since for a Queen of hearts that are red,
I'm sure she'd kill white if it had a head.
So snow is white, and so angry she'd be,
But if I had to guess, I'd say she does like me.
Of course, that is a rumour to one such as you,
Whether it is real or not, you have no clue.
That is my tale, one day in the life of me,
So I shall go, but be sure to say hi to Tweedledee!

Topic: The Pawsteps to Salvation Subject: Hmph
Tear looks sharply at Fyet, murmuring, "To atone for a mistake or an accident is only to fully admit that it occurred, and to set precautions to prevent it from occurring again. To punish yourself is to weaken yourself, which holds no gain for anyone."
Tear's eyes glance around, and she continues, "Also, there is no reason to set a watch for this night. As there is only us, even if the humans arrive at the forest this night, seeing it unguarded will put them off their guard, and so they will take a leisurely pace. That is one of the few benefits we hold being a small group, the advantage of being unknown."

Topic: The Pawsteps to Salvation Subject: With healing, the whole can be restored
Tear nods, watching the two cats apologize. That is good. Even if it seems only one side is at fault, hearing it from both sides makes the feeling mutual, which speeds up the healing process.
Tear steps forward, "Why don't we rest? We will have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

Tear nods, saying, "I'm afraid I can only take myself through the world of shadows; I'll let them know you're returning."
With that, Tear returns to the shadow world, before finding the shadowy door by Shard and Eika. She slowly walks out of the shadow world.
"Fyet is returning now." Tear says gently, trying to make her return as subtle as possible.

Topic: Supreme Beginning Subject: No clothes for the cat
Copycat tosses the costume in her hands back into the bin, unsatisfied. There didn't seem to be anything special about it at all, which means that she did not need to actually wear the thing.
Still, it is probably needed aesthetically, which Copycat would comply. Her fur ruffles as it changes into the texture of clothing, forming the same design as the uniform.
"This will do for me." Copycat says, looking herself over, "Although why I have to do this is something I don't understand."

Topic: Paranoia Q&A Subject: Regarding Falas's post
The bizarre format of it makes it incredibly difficult to read what his actual actions are. Does he speak, or does he not? If he poses a question, in what form does it take?
Especially in this game, words are delicate, and speech should be given if there is speech in the post.

Topic: A Local Legend - An Audalis Short Adventure Subject: Torn
Despite the warmth of the invitation, Ocyari shivers slightly. It's not that she wouldn't prefer to be a guest here, especially with the reception, but at the same time... Ocyari fidgets a little bit, feeling a little uncomfortable. This place didn't agree with her. Not that surprising really, but it'd probably be better to leave.
However, Ocyari keeps silent. To raise her voice would be to draw attention to herself, which is not something that's needed. Besides, there is also chance that the others may decide it'd be better to travel more in this day. Either way, it is in her best interest to wait to see what the general consensus of the group is.

Topic: A Local Legend - Q/A Subject: Regarding gboy
It is an incorrect assumption, but it doesn't matter too much...
Ocyari when she was little was hyperactive and fast-talking, but as she is now, she's far more subdued, and quieter too at times. I suppose it's my fault for not elaborating on the manner of her speech, so don't worry too much about it. After all, the point is the character didn't do too well of a job copying things down

Topic: The Pawsteps to Salvation Subject: Control?
Tear sits on the ground, still within the shadow she appeared from.
"Control?" Tear asks, slightly amused, "There are things that are beyond control. What matters is knowing what causes one to lose control. Such knowledge, if used in moderation, can be used to one's advantage, or one's demise. It all depends on if it is shared, and who it is shared with."
"This incident of tonight has occurred because that knowledge wasn't shared. Nothing more and nothing less. It is where you choose to go from here that matters." Tear murmurs.

Topic: The Pawsteps to Salvation Subject: Conflict within causes the death of the star
Tear's ears twitch at the sound of Fyet's roar, snapping her out of her meditative trance.
Tear sighs, "Oh dear. A conflict within the crystal causes it to shatter. If the crystal is to survive, the crack must be mended, as soon as is possible."
Tear walks forward, into the clearing made by Fyet's uncontrolled transformation. Looking to the side, she sees the position of where Shard stood, noticing the wet ground.
"I see." Tear murmurs, piecing together the circumstances.
"Fear leads to problems when it is within the whole, for it too causes cracks." Tear murmurs. She quickly turns toward the foliage and disappears into the shadows.
In the shadow world, time doesn't exist, so Tear leaps forward, looking through the doors to reality that are the shadows, before finding the door she desires.
"I will not ask what happened, nor will I make an assumption." Tear says aloud, "But in order for the whole to heal, everyone should be gathered. Everyone does include you, does it not, Fyet?"
