Three and Three Quarter Hours before Twilight
(Willow has healed 20 nonlethal by this time)
Willow had just been lying in bed, letting the aches in her limbs fade, and just relaxing. A few of her muscles still ached, but for the most part she felt just fine.
There is a knock at the door, which is likely Yin, but before Willow can even get up to answer it, there is a crash in the corridor.
"I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going!" Casia's voice can be heard.
"What is wrong with you!" Yin shouts angrilly, "Most people I know tend to keep their eyes open while running!"
"I'm very very sorry! I was checking all the room numbers for this delivery. Normally I'm to leave the package at the mailbox, but I found all those mailboxes kind of confusing, and a few actually need to be relabeled, since theirs is either peeling off or is missing, but I would've been quite late if I had to wait for that."
Yin sighs, and can be heard getting to his feet, "Who's it for anyway?"
"For a Ms. Hiswena." Casia replies automatically, also getting up from the floor from the sounds of it, "Do you know which room she's in?"

Gladiator Arena
Five Hours before Twilight
"Try This On For Size!"
Manalagna twirls his scimitar in a complex weave around him, sparks flying off of the blade as electric charges form and grow around the arena. "Now! Behold the power of Lightning!"
With a flash, a large lightning bolt descends from the sky, to hit exactly where Xira stands, causing an upheaval of sand that obscures all vision.
"Welcome to the Sand Dance! Courtesy of Manalagna Hammer!"
However, just before impact, Xira can be seen spinning out of the way of the bolt, then the sand cloud obscures further vision of her. The crowd gasps, but then Xira leaps out of the sand cloud, looking almost unscathed by the bolt, her scythe in hand as she runs directly at Manalagna. Her eyes are cold, and there is no emotion on her face as she rushes forward, almost looking like a grim reaper. By the time Manalagna reacts, Xira is a mere 40ft in front of him.

Topic: Drakehorde: Daggers in the Night Subject: The Last Resort
Riina's ears pick up the whine of a wolf, which could only be that of the other one's companion. The wolf wasn't hurt at all during the course of the battle, that Riina could see anyway, so its crying out had to be to its fallen companion, the other Killoren. Riina nods solemnly. It appeared it would come to that after all.
Riina moves up, no longer caring about the individual goblins. It is time to fulfill her own objective. The reinforcements from the search party the goblins sent out earlier would be alerted, of course, it was unavoidable, but she could lose them in the woods. It is a drastic plan, but there doesn't seem to be any other option; if she waited, it might not even be an option.
She reaches into her backpack, and feels the hard, cold glass of a vial. She takes it out, and takes a single arrow. Methodically, as though she did this every day, Riina applies the oil onto the tip of the arrow. This would have to be done quickly, but if done right, it would eliminate her reason for being there, and she could move on.

Aqinarr City

Five and a Half Hours before Twilight
A moment after Willow's slight knock, the door opens a crack, and the manager wearily asks, "Are you another person who has lost something?"
(provided entry convo is successful)
"Do you-" she asked, her fists in her lap balling as she fought the nervousness of everyday conversation, "Do you make deliveries to the Barracks not so far from here?"
"Not often; people usually don't send things in that direction." The man says.
"I would then like for you to have this ring here delivered to a friend of mine who lives there." She says, drawing from her pocket the signet ring she had. "I will give you the Barracks Mailbox Number if you will just allow me to write it down somewhere for the deliveryperson."
"That won't be necessary; I have a document that lists all the mailboxes in Aqinarr." The man says, smiling, "When would you like it delivered?"
(response)
"So is business good?" she asks tamely
"It's OK. The consistent accusations against Casia puts a bit of a black mark on our reputation though, however, since the misplaced items are always found, it's more of a temporary thing than anything else. Apart from that, it's about what I expected."
"Do you have many employees running your deliveries?"
"No. I would've liked to employ more people to do the deliveries, but with all the accusations going on, it's bad enough with just Casia. Fortunately, she never takes any of it seriously, and doesn't hold any grudges, since she knows she's a bit clumsy, and that people tend to attribute that clumsiness to be thief-like behaviour. She is unorganized, and a bit of a clutz, but she is reliable and a dedicated person. In actuality, I know what Casia is like with schedules, so I arrange the delivery to be made earlier than it is supposed to be, so she actually delivers it on time." The man chuckles.

Topic: Auguries of Destruction: The Linsemptus - Q/A Subject: That's alright
I know that people do have things they also have to attend to in RL, and given the pace, it isn't that bad.
Although... I'd like to bring attention to the fact that a couple of characters are now waiting on the others, so I'd like to bring everyone to Twilight soon.
For the most part, everyone's in an encounter at the moment, and there's only the resolution of that encounter needed before I can fast-forward to Twilight, so hopefully the others won't be waiting that long, and the depth of gameplay will remain consistent ^_^
Of course, that doesn't mean you have to rush; just keep a consistent rate if possible of posting, so the others can at least see that the campaign is indeed moving

Linnix's dagger drew blood, and while that gives her some degree of satisfaction, it is not nearly enough to abase her rage. The glint of red on her dagger is easily reflected in her eyes, for a moment overpowering the natural colour in her irises to make them appear blood red. The vindictive Linnix smiles with malice, as she stabs again and again at the orc in front of her.
How could this be the same woman who had danced with grace?

Topic: Silent Hill: Eternal Decay Subject: Am I Real? What About You?
Panting slightly, Cindi walks up to the exhausted woman, keeping an eye on the still form of the dog.
"...you real? Are you f***ing real? Oh god..."
Cindi tilts her head, "That's a very good question." She says simply, not responding to Hank's question, but her own internal one, which was Just what is going on here? That's no dog...
Seeing the wound on the woman's arm, Cindi puts her backpack down and pulls out the first aid kit. Provided it has what it is supposed to have, Cindi bandages the arm, a bit tight, but not too tight because too tight it would... umm... it would do something... Oh well... another blank to be filled at some point. After bandaging the woman's arm, Cindi puts the kit away back in her backpack.
"While we're on the subject... I think my name is Cindi. Spelt with an 'i' at the end, not a 'y'. Who are you?" Cindi asks.
On the surface, Cindi stays calm, but inside it just feels so empty that for all she knew, perhaps this sort of thing was day-to-day life or something... what a wierd life this is... Trying not to think about the wierdness of it all... if it indeed is wierd, also helps Cindi stay calm. The most troubling thing for her is still her lack of memory. Oh well, hopefully she'd be able to fill in some of her blank memories soon.

Topic: Auguries of Destruction - The Linsemptus Subject: To Find What You're Looking For
Aqinarr City
Side Road
Five and a Half Hours before Twilight
It didn't take long, maybe a few minutes at the most, until Willow found something that could be of help. Well, quite a few people thought it could be of help, and are all crowded around in the building and even past the doorway of the new parcel and delivery service. From inside, a man can be heard yelling. The man's yelling is comprehendable from even outside where Willow is, and is rather sporadic, talking with different people.
"NO! I do not know anything about your missing- What!? You're accusing my employee?! Get out! Oh, yes, you there?... NO! Like I told you before, chances are you just misplaced that ring... Look, I appreciate your advise, but the more crowded this place gets, the more time it takes for her to get through to deliver anything, and the more she becomes late and rushes! She is a kind, dedicated employee, and I DO NOT want to end up firing her just because she's falsely accused... I'm losing my voice here! Everybody OUT!"
It takes a while, and a few more shouts of "OUT!" from the manager, but eventually everyone is pushed outside and the door slams shut behind them. Uncertain what to do, the crowd slowly thins and dissipates as people wander to search for their lost things.

Topic: Forgotten Realms: The Unsung Heroes Subject: Cruel Vindictive Scars
Rage is a powerful emotion. Unrestrained and unleashed, it can easily destroy both the provoker and the acter. Such is true of Linnix's anger.
She had been hit twice already, but reasoning is impossible for her now. Kill, or be killed, and so Linnix chooses to kill. Gripping the dagger in her left hand so hard that her knuckles turn white, Linnix stabs and slashes and stabs at the orc in front of her. In her right hand, her second dagger stays silent; its use will come later.
Looking for all the world like a comically enraged china doll because of the absurd makeup, Linnix continues her offense, in spite of her wounds.

Outskirts of Hylon Forest
To the Side of the Main Highway (Between Hylon and Fonhinqann)
Two and a Quarter Hours before Twilight
Overall, the setting up of their semi-makeshift camp ended up being relatively easy. The trees provides sufficient cover for whatever precipitation might occur, which seems unlikely given the clear sky. There is even enough fallen tree limbs to provide a suitable fire for the duo, and Qin had no problem finding excess.
Unbeknownst to Qin and Tristan, the stone bunny inside Tristan's bag has also moved, making itself look as though it is asleep. Its stone whiskers twitch as it dreams about stone carrots and other simple things that living stone bunnies dream about.
Qin on the whole also seems a bit tired, and his eyelids droop slightly. Soon, both Qin and Tristan sleep, with Tristan going to awaken in time to see the sun slip over the horizon.
(Tristan is now at Checkpoint 1, so no further posting is necessary from your end unless you'd like to backpost and do some more RP or something else)

“Is it not possible for us to return to Hylon and simply rent a local smithies forge? There are plenty of those, particularly here in Hylon who would be more than willing to assist any goals of which a Saint of their patron sets out upon., must we use this one man’s furnace in particular? I know little in the ways of smithing, but I would think if he will not be so forthcoming with aid we can find an alternative way."
Renshiir's hand is raised to her chin as she thinks about it, "Well, the shape of the forge definitely would be the same, so the result should be the same, but I'm pretty sure only that pig's furnace gets hot enough for crystalsmithing. The others I've seen don't get nearly hot enough. I think there's actually a fire elemental in that forge, but I haven't been able to make sure."
"Either way however, yes, let us make our way for the city, we’ve had enough frolicking through the trees this evening.”
Renshiir nods, "Alright, let's go!"
The group makes their way back to Hylon City, the sun just beginning to descend past the horizon as they make it to the outer gates.
(Armand is now at Checkpoint 1, so no further posting is necessary from your end unless you'd like to backpost and do some more RP or something else)

Ninkanna slowly walks back to the cantina, watching Kavtan run on ahead. Inside, Ninkanna sighs. Maybe she'd be able to do a simple test flight or something after meditation, something anyway that she was actually good at.
As she returns along her path, she keeps an eye out in the crowd for the one person whom she had almost collided with earlier. If she finds the person, she apologizes, both for the incident, and for the lateness of her apology, explaining that she was just in quite a hurry, and she would be sure to take care not to do that again.
Her leisurely pace was also primarily to aid in getting her headache to subside, and she was confident that Si-Di and the others could handle their end of things far better than she had done.
(I'll post a post where Ninkanna arrives at the cantina a bit later, fitting with her slow pace)

Three Hours before Twilight
"Why are you getting in my way?! Get out of my way!" The hunter snarls.
Seeing no other option, Dusk slashes the man twice, once catching him across the torso in a rather deep wound and once shallowly across the arm. The man grunts in pain, now bordering on the severely wounded. He steps back, but not to retreat. He holds his hand in front of him, and as he brings it to himself, he murmurs something just under his breath, causing his hand to glow white. Touching his hand to his breast, the whiteness surges into his body, which accepts it greedily. The man's wounds diminish as he looks at Dusk with a second wind, hatred brewing in his eyes.
The wind blows gently, swaying the grass, and it unfortunately causes the young tiger to become visible as she sneezes from a stray grass tickling her nose. The hunter's eyes glare at the young tiger, freezing her in place with just his malevolent will.

At the sound of the chime, Linnix jumped to her feet.
“Stay where you are my pets, one way or another you will fetch me my price, whether it be alive and whole, or as corpses or in pieces."
"A pathetic imbecile who merely plays with poison." Linnix mutters angrily, "I will kill you."
Linnix's dress in this bizarre light seems to glow an eerie red as she runs to grab her equipment. Her eyes gleam with rage and malevolence. If by sheer will one could harm another, Linnix's rage would've been enough to kill.

Topic: Forgotten Realms: The Unsung Heroes Subject: "Here you are near to the dark, I will tell you about the sun"
“I'll give you the worth of your lives in exchange for the three”
Without the use of her eyes, Linnix could easily assume that this was the same person that had met with Aelistae the previous night. Well, at least he's not late. Linnix thinks, Wait, the worth of their lives? That's really not that much... Although I suppose they would value it more. She adds vindictively.
“All transactions are final. Thank you for coming, and I’ll see you in hell!”
Serves them right... Linnix sourly thinks, then she thinks about how they got into this mess, Ugh, never accept anything at face value... and that's something my parents said, of all people.
Linnix continues to lie on the floor, not because she is keeping up her act (although she is doing that too), but because she isn't bothering to get up.

Linnix hears the person begin the auction. This didn't bode well, but maybe... an idea sparks in her mind. It might not necessarily work, and Linnix isn't sure how to do it well, but it is still better than nothing.
Linnix relaxes her body, letting her hands fall, trying not to react or do anything. Her head falls back, eyes closed. This is just another role, she realizes, another disguise, and disguises she could do well. She didn't need to talk or anything to portray this, so nothing was really required, just the look.
And so, Linnix let herself look, for all the audience to see, dead.

Somewhere Between Wanqir and Aqinarr

The hunter proves capable of dodging, as he sidesteps Dusk's first blow, but Dusk's followup with his other blade catches the hunter on the arm. The hunter winces slightly, but manages to position his shield in time to block Dusk's final slash.
The hunter lets out a cry as he swings his blade in a powerful arc, but it is too slow, and Dusk evades the blade easily. The hunter's followup holds no added power to it, but it nearly catches Dusk in the side as he sidesteps, missing by an inch.
Glancing back over his shoulder for a brief second, Dusk can barely see the young tiger, as it is lying as far down on the ground as possible, using the somewhat tall grass as well as it can to hide it. It appears that the hunter cannot see it, however, since he grits his teeth and hisses, "Get out of my way."

Topic: Welcome or Not! Subject: Haste Without Waste
The girl did not sleep that night. She was too anxious, too nervous, and besides, the ground might have betrayed her presence if she landed to sleep. However, it's not as though she needs sleep, so it's not that much of a loss.
Morning. Bright and warm, with only shadows to hide the darkness. From her view up here, she can see a flowering cherry tree. Time for a detour! There is a myth among sylphs of a special type of blossom. It only blooms on cherry trees, and even then it is quite rare, being a seemingly unnatural occurance. Unnatural it may be, the rainbow blossom, a cherry tree flower with a larger number of petals that display the whole spectrum, is very pretty. Its core is a bright white, said to glow with varying intensity, growing stronger the darker it is. It is even said that the flower is immortal, never aging or dying, a true witherless flower, even if taken from the tree.
Of course, it is still just a flower, but beauty is still beauty, no matter the source, whether it be from stone or wood. Still, the pretty things of other worlds is exactly the reason why this girl wanders throughout the worlds, collecting little tokens. The girl dances through the air around the cherry tree, searching for the mythical flower. After going around the whole tree several times, the girl stops, pretty sure that the flower isn't there. Oh well the girl thinks, maybe there'll be one on another tree.
One thing about the myth that this girl was not told, however, is that on the same tree that has a rainbow flower, it also always has a pitch black flower bulb. It only blooms when the rainbow flower is taken off of the tree, and when it does, a monster is created from its pollen, and the monster pursues the one with the rainbow flower. The flower only gives off enough pollen to make one, and then whithers into dust, but often one is enough. The monster appears as two black orbs, each with a white circle on its 'front' with three silvery spikes arranged at the top, side, and bottom, and on the other side is a black chain that connects the two orbs. The spikes are usually retracted, keeping the two orbs spherical in shape. They float and hover through the air by unknown means, and their chain can increase or decrease in length, giving them quite a formiddible reach. These monsters are referred to as Black Guardians.
Finally, the dust from the original black flower would gather and solidify into a single black arrow, which would then multiply several times, resulting in twenty arrows in total. These arrows are slightly unstable, being made of a bizarre substance, and when they impact something from being fired, they cause an explosion of blackness that does further damage to the object or creature they hit.
The girl lightheartedly returns to following the stranger on the ground below, unknowing exactly what would happen if she did find and take the rainbow flower.
