Tamuril goes back in the tunnel and casts her Comprehend languages spell so she can understand what the Lizardmen are talking about. She is hoping that Driscoll remains hidden and silent and the Lizardmen leave. If not she will cast Ghost Sound at where they came from, giving Driscoll time to get out before they decide to do something else
Subconsciously she projects the thoughts of Go back, Go back. Not that she had any mental powers, but it kept her from dwelling on worries of Driscoll getting caught. She did not want a aggressive confrontation, hoping that somehow a peaceful settlement could be reached.

"I did not see any side passages," Tamuril whispered. "Given all we have learned I do not just want to barge in killing. I was wondering if we should try another tack. How about finding a place to set out a blanket and put some items on it, as if offering trade. Would it not be better to open peaceful trade between the townsfolk and the lizard folk. That way both could prosper."
She glances at the others and waits. Everything they had learned gave her the idea that these lizard folk were not blood hungry killers bent of revenge. If something in the past had caused the problem, would it not be better to set it aside for something better for all of them.

Alea moves toward Siliwen, but keeps firing her bow as long as it is affective. She will fire on the next closest Shelnak. Figuring that they are not used to being hurt. Alea decides to shot one arrow at as many as she can hoping to disrupt them it using their type of mind magics.
She will free her friend one way of the other, her life was pledged to that.

"I do not need another horse."
When Driscoll magics his mount she swings lightly into the riding pad and they depart the city.
As they approach the camp they can hear the sounds the girls bathing in the nearby river.
"Breakfast, she calls out, as she dismounts and takes out the food she bought, just as warm and full of delicious smells as when she bagged it.

Tamuril had been thinking along similar lines, "Sounds as good as anything I have gleaned from all that we have read and heard. I was hoping to learn more from the book, but it was just not there."
"What you said fits everything we know, though the truth of the matter might be something very different, so we need to keep that in mind."
"Dealing with a Mage is not an easy matter, if he is at the bottom of the matter."
She looks to the others, "I suggest were gets lanterns that can not be blown out to help light our way. We will also need string to mark our way, or chalk or whatever."

Mora puts Ninian behind her and moves forward with the intensity of a mother protecting her young. Her hand goes instictively to her sword and she draws it in a single clean motion. She hopes the others might be able to help Ninian with magics.
There is something about the woman and it rankles Mora in a way that had never happened to her before.

By the time they got to the inn, Tamuril had been thinking about the best way to do things. While she and Isil focused on copying, Driscoll could just plain read the book, maybe he might glean something from reading it front to back. Who knew what sort of tidbits of information were tucked away in the Wizard's writings.
If there is no table big enough in any of their rooms she will ask for one to be brought up. She quickly lays out her paper and ink and sets to work.

Alea's heart was pounding in her chest as the battle began. Seeing her arrow destroyed she took another and was going shot one of the rock dwellers when the arrow began to glow with a clear bluish-white light. She turns and reaims at the grotesque leader. Her heart sings out as the arrow passes through the creatures defensed and is hit. Her lips form a Thank You, Correllon as she continues her prayers while she notches another arrow and fires on the leader hoping that the first hit was not a one time occurance.
If it did not glow she will shoot one of the rock dwellers, then go to free Siliwen.
(OOC: What can I see about the manacles that hold Siliwen?)

Out of Town:
People find there places and settle for the night, Maybe the closeneses of the town gave them a sense of security so that no watches were set up. Distant calls of the guards on watch on the walls drifted over the sleepers. The sounds of the nocturnal dwellers were scattered about them, animal feeding on vegetation and other animals feeding on those animals.
With the greying of the eastern skies came the sounds of wagons as they made there way to the gates when they opened.
In Town:
Without the whole group togetrher it seemed that there was little to keep Lorae and Devon from their beds. The rooms were as the guard had stated, clean and comfortable. Devon is wakened by a knock on the door.
"Hurry breakfast is ready, and the gates will soon be opened."

Alea’s voice quickly rings out in the cavern, her words are spoken with the force of her ferver,
“Aman Corellon, amin naa tualle amandil Alea'isilmarwyn. Aman tel’ Seldarine lye,” (Blessed Corellon, I am your servant cleric Alea’isilmarwyn. Bless us. The Elven words trumpet out and resound from the cavern walls.
Alea’s bow was coming to bear on the misshapen, grotesque creature in front of Siliwen even as she blessed their small company. So much was riding on so few. Alea silently prayed as she drew back the arrow and sighted down it at the heart of the creature. “ Corellon, if you feel I am worthy of the grace of your archery skill, now is the time it is most needed.”
“Billy, cuamin linduva yssen megrille. Gurth gothrim lye!” suddenly realizing the Billy might not understand her she repeats it in common, “My bow will sing with your sword. Death to our foes!”
Alea intends to kill the little man and then free Siliwen, She will also work to cut down as many of the foes as she can. She hopes Billy is able to do what her did before, keeping the shelnaks from forming up and using their psionic powers against them. If it took her life to see that Siliwen succeeded then she would freeely give it.
"Stone Brothers, let your axes bite deep, let the foes' blood feed the earth."

"If the Breath of Melios destroyed Badon then I to vow to see Melios destroyed," and with that she draws her sword and cuts her left hand, letting her blood drop to the earth.
"I pledge my life and blood to defend the earth against Melios and his ilk. I fight for the Light and Good!"
She wipes the blade and returns it to her sheath, then clenched her left hand to close the cut.

Subject: Game Post: Under Trees and Stars
Precious delicately takes what food is offered nibbles away until it disappears and neatly cleans herself.
"Nicssse," she hisses in her silibant speech. Well hiss sounds really too harsh for the silibent sounds she and Flame make, it was not like the warning hiss of a cat or snake, more a soft slurring of the s sound.
Flame drops down on Brianna's shoulder, wrapping his tail about her as he leans toward Precious. Brianna can feel his attention of the little female.
The sounds of the night are all to common and only the occasional calls of the guards calling out their "Alls well," from their guard positions could be heard in the distance.
