Lorae's knows none of their group do magic that include invisibility, and by the young woman's own words, she was a cleric. She glances about and notices the Julius has left the group.

"I am sure that Brianna can answer any question you have, I need to go see to the horses."

With that she left the common room and stepped outside. She pause and her eyes closed as she concentrated. When they opened she looked back over her shoulder and strode down the stairs and started around the to back.

The Sgt looks to Vatta and then Brianna, "We could ask the same thing."

But knowing you folk I will tell you that we caught a Drow lurking about at the edge of the Cormanthor 1/2 days ride west. We were taking her to Asbenford. She kept saying she was a cleric to Eilistraee but we had no way to prove it, so we were bringing her in. Only my horse went soar so we were slowed. We decided to come here and with till morning.

"Now what do you know?" He looks to Brianna

Lorae looks to her people and then to the Riders. She knew she had walked into something as sharper that normal vision and a equally sharp intellect notices the missing captive and sensitive ears caught the gists of the conversations going on about the room.

"Would someone like to explain what is going on?"

The two Riders were momentarily at a loss, but they would not be Riders without the ability to quickly adapt.

"Gone!" the first Rider swung his arms about wildly, trying to see if the Drow had just gone invisible. By that time the Drow had deftly left the area with softfooted steps. "She must of been a Wizard, the little dragon must have been her familar."

"Noooo." drawled the second Rider, "I have seen him before, with the Amazon warrioress, one of the bunch I was telling you about." He looks about and his brown eyes stop at the sight of Brianna. Brianna recognized him, Sgt, Blane Hawkridge, she had a few drinks with him the morning after the battle at Eventide.

"I think that bird was the familar," He paused thoughtfully. By that time Lorae stepped into the inn, having tossed some coins to the stable boy to see to Julius's horse and Moon Dancer.

Many of the common folk are just staring about, not even sure of what happened, though it seemed some did. Instantly the room was abuzz with consternation, people perplexed and worried once they learned of the Drow and her disappearance. Many were afraid that her was the hearald of some attack on the village.

A head cocked, ear fans curled, and a sineous red shape dropped from the rafters to land lightly on the cloaked one's shoulders as the two Rider pushed her in ahead of them.

A long tail wrapped about the base of the hood though not strangling the captive, only assuring the tiny draconic creature a secure purchase. Forelegs went to the top of the hood as the red dragonette curled around and fiery red eyes with verical slits turned on the two Riders.

"Not nicssse," his tiny silibant voice cried out.

The two men hesitated but one of them recovered enough to comment. "Of course it is not nice, it's a Drow."

"Nope," Flame went on, "you not nicssse."

"Lady nicssse. You not hurt, or you be sssorry." Flame lifted his forelegs for a moment ahd held them up and half closed his claws in a threatening manner. "You no want cursssesss."

That stopped them short. While the Riders reared back Flame dipped his head to whisper in the Drow's ear, "Usstan orn dormagyn dos. (I will save you.)"

Zara heard a silibant sound of surprise and turned her head and neck to look as Alex fought free of his clothes and made a frantic attempt to get into the air. There was nothing graceful about it as he wobbled in the sky and almost fell to the earth. She turned about and hovered in the air above him.

"Think light asss a feather and forget trying to fly for now, and don't forget it." Her silibant voice advised the flapping, flopping cleric. "It's like swimming, first you float and then you fly."

Once he got the hang of floating, she showed him how to flap. "First you lift the leading edge of you wing and raise the tip as high as you can, then pull your wing down starting with the leading edge.

So much for a fast trip to the hills, especailly when Alex had trouble remembering to stay light and coordinate the movement of his wings. Once she does find a spot, she leads Alex to young tree. She gets him to sit on its upper branches, but not on the tip top.

"Nothing too big can climb this and if something tries to sssnatch you out of the air, turn back to your human form before you get too high in the air.

"I'll be back in a flash."

With that she literally disappeared.

She pops next to Dae's shoulder. "Steer toward the cleft in that ridge, its about 5 miles. I will keep an eye on you."

She disappears again and arrives to hover in the air where Alex clung to the branch.

"Alex, you have got to not letting you thoughtsss run away from you, changing ssshapesss doesss not automatically allow you to know how to move in another ssshape, and that can leave you vvvvery vulnerable."

Subject: Zara does What?

Zara sighs and looks about the group, Alex on the carpet with the worldly Moraglin and Dae riding lost in her own thoughts, and now Oko in a funk over something, possibly something Moraglin said.

One moment Zara is seated on her colorful mule and moments later there is a fiery golden dragonette clutching to the seat of the saddle as the mule stops abruptly by the sudden loss of weight and looks back where Zara had been. Zara was still there, just changed in form, she was now a dragonette, a little less than 2 feet from delicate snout to tail tip. Her scales glittered of gold, like she was a very opalescent Fire Opal covered with gold dust, or visa versa. Sebastian had the Equine expression equivalent to “What the ****”.

She lifted into the afternoon air without a wing beat. Truth be told all dragon-kind had the ability to levitate, wings alone could never lift them off the ground. When she had risen above Sebastian’s ears she started to flap her wings, flying around Dae’s head, over Moraglin and Alex and finally to Oko’

“Bet I find a better camp,” a tiny voice whispered in his ear as Zara hovered over his shoulder, “caussse you’re not looking.”

The she shot into the air, “Freeeeeee!”

She shot off to the hills disappearing quickly.

As Lorae and Julius reenter the outskirts of the village of Pelan's Helm, a group of 5 riders pass them. Lorae recognizes the tabbards they wear, they're patrol of Riders out of Asbenford, well 4 of them were Riders, the fifth was cloaked, hands tied, and their horse was being led by a Rider.

In the doorway Vatta heard the sounds of cantering horses, but more than two. Riding through the village green were a group of 5 travellers, one being lead on their horse. They headed straight to the inn and two of them take the horses to the stable while the other two manhandle a cloaked figure whose hands seem bound. As they pull the captive off the horse, Vatta sees the slim lower arms of the captive, they are black.

Topic: Sad News About Aunt Lena
Subject: Prayers and Light.

Jeanne I have been that route, both of us diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery and I had added Kemo.

Cancer is a daunting word, but there is so much more that doctors can do today.

I have included a special Anticancer Diet that I have just gotten from internet today.

Anticancer Diet

I've learned that the anticancer diet is the exact opposite of the typical American meal: mostly colorful vegetables and legumes, plus unsaturated fats (olive, canola, or flaxseed oils), garlic, herbs, and spices. Meat and eggs are optional. Through extensive research, I devised a list of the most promising cancer fighters, along with recommendations on how to make the most of their potential. Include at least one, and preferably two, at every meal, to maximize your protection.

Turmeric

Found in curry powder, this spice is the most powerful natural anti-inflammatory available today. It encourages cancer cell death, inhibits tumor growth, and even enhances the effectiveness of chemotherapy. Some research shows that turmeric is most effective in humans when it's mixed with black pepper and dissolved in oil (olive or canola, preferably). In store-bought curry mixes, turmeric represents only 20% of the total, so it's better to obtain ground turmeric directly from a spice shop.

How to Use It: Mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder with a teaspoon of olive oil and a generous pinch of ground black pepper and add to vegetables, soups, and salad dressings. Use a tablespoon if you already have cancer. If it tastes too bitter for you, add a few drops of honey or agave nectar.

Ginger

Fresh ginger, or ginger root, is a powerful anti-inflammatory that combats certain cancer cells and helps slow tumor growth. A ginger infusion can also alleviate nausea from chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

How to Use It: Add grated fresh ginger to a vegetable stir-fry or fruit salad. Or, make an infusion by slicing a 1-inch piece of ginger and steeping it in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes; drink hot or cold.

Best Drinks for Bettering Your Body

Japanese Green Tea

Green tea is rich in compounds called polyphenols, including catechins (and particularly EGCG), which reduce the growth of new blood vessels that feed tumors. It's also a powerful antioxidant and detoxifier (activating enzymes in the liver that eliminate toxins from the body), and it encourages cancer cell death. In the laboratory, it has even been shown to increase the effect of radiation on cancer cells.

How to Drink It: Sip 2 to 3 cups a day within an hour of brewing. Green tea must be steeped for at least 5 to 8 minutes -- ideally 10 -- to release its catechins, but it loses its beneficial polyphenols after an hour or two.

Pomegranate Juice

This juice, which tastes like raspberries, has been used in Persian medicine for thousands of years. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are well confirmed; studies show it can substantially reduce the development of even the most aggressive prostate cancers (among others). In addition, drinking it daily slows the spread of an established prostate cancer by more than 50%.

How to Drink It: Have 8 ounces daily with breakfast.

Vital Veggies

Brussels Sprouts, Bok Choy, Chinese cabbage, Broccoli, and Cauliflower

Brussels sprouts, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower all contain sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinols (I3Cs), two potent anticancer molecules. These molecules help the body detoxify certain carcinogenic substances and can help prevent precancerous cells from developing into malignant tumors. They also promote the suicide of cancer cells and block tumor growth.

How to Prepare Them: Cover and steam briefly or stir-fry rapidly with a little olive oil. Avoid boiling cabbage and broccoli, which destroys their cancer-fighting compounds

Garlic, Onions, Leeks, Shallots, Chives

The sulfur compounds found in this group (the alliaceous family) promote the death of colon, breast, lung, and prostate cancer cells. Epidemiological studies also suggest a lower risk of kidney and prostate cancer in people who consume the most garlic.

How to Eat Them: The active compounds in garlic are released when you crush the clove, and they're much more easily absorbed if they're combined with a small amount of oil. Sauté chopped garlic and onions in a little olive oil, mix with steamed or stir-fried vegetables, and toss with black pepper and turmeric. They can also be consumed raw, mixed in salads, or layered on sandwiches.

Proteins for a Better Prognosis

Soy Products

Compounds called isoflavones (including genistein, daidzein, and glycitein) prevent tumor growth and block the stimulation of cancer cells by sex hormones (such as estrogens and testosterone). There are significantly fewer breast cancer cases among Asian women who have eaten soy since adolescence, and when they do have breast cancer, their tumors are usually less aggressive with higher survival rates. Isoflavone supplements (in pill form) have been associated with an aggravation of certain breast cancers, but whole soy, eaten as food, has not.

How to Eat It: Replace conventional milk products with soy milk or soy yogurts for breakfast. Also, use tofu, tempeh, and miso in soups and stir-fries.

Fatty Fish

The risk of several cancers is significantly lower in people who eat fish at least twice a week. Several studies discovered that the anti-inflammatory long-chain omega-3s found in fatty fish (or in high-quality purified fish-oil supplements) can help slow cancer cell growth in a large
number of tumors (lung, breast, colon, prostate, kidney, etc.).

How to Eat It: Have a seafood-based meal two or three times a week. Choose small fish, such as anchovies, small mackerel, and sardines (including canned sardines, provided they are preserved in olive oil and not in sunflower oil, which is too rich in pro-inflammatory omega-6 fats). Small fish contain fewer environmental toxins such as PCBs and mercury. Wild salmon is also a good source of omega-3 fats, and the level of contamination is still acceptable. Choose fresh over frozen whenever possible, because omega-3 content degrades over time.

Disease-Fighting Fruits

Oranges, Tangerines, Lemons, and Grapefruit

Oranges, tangerines, lemons, and grapefruit contain anti-inflammatory compounds called flavonoids that stimulate the detoxification of carcinogens by the liver. Certain flavonoids in the skin of tangerines -- tangeritin and nobiletin -- can also help promote the death of brain cancer cells.

How to Eat It: Sprinkle grated citrus zest (from organic fruits) into salad dressings or breakfast cereals, or steep in tea or hot water. Eat whole fruits out of hand, toss with other fruits in a salad, or use in a salsa to season grilled fish.

Berries

Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and cranberries contain ellagic acid and a large number of polyphenols, which inhibit tumor growth. Two polyphenols found in berries, anthocyanidins and proanthocyanidins, promote cancer cell death.

How to Eat Them: At breakfast, mix fruit with soy milk and multigrain cereals. (The best cereal options combine oats, bran, flaxseed, rye, barley, spelt, and so on.) Frozen berries are just as potent as fresh.

Cure It with Dessert

Chocolate

Chocolates containing over 70% cocoa provide a number of antioxidants, proanthocyanidins, and many polyphenols. In fact, a square of dark chocolate contains twice as many as a glass of red wine and almost as many as a cup of green tea properly steeped. These molecules slow the growth of cancer cells and limit the blood vessels that feed them.

How to Eat It: Enjoy about one-fifth of a dark chocolate bar a day guilt free. Milk chocolate isn't a good alternative because dairy cancels out the cancer protection of the polyphenol compounds.

To date, there is no alternative approach that can cure cancer, and I believe that the best of conventional medicine--surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and soon, molecular genetics--must be used to treat this disease. But to neglect your own natural cancer-fighting capacity is folly. I've kept cancer at bay for 8 years now, and I attribute my survival largely to the changes I've made in my diet and lifestyle. I exercise and meditate more and eat wholesome anticancer foods on a daily basis. Still, the medical establishment is slow to embrace this approach. After my last screening at the university's cancer center, I stopped at the cafeteria and discovered eight different types of tea: Darjeeling, Earl Grey, chamomile, and several fruit-flavored herbal teas. Sadly, there was not a single packet of green tea in the lot.

(How much healing do I have left?) She leaves Riddle and goes to look for Siliwen, hoping tha she might have grabbed a rock and not fallen all the way down (How far to the bottom?) She grabs for her rope and then goes to the dwarf closest to her and points to her rope and over the side. She knows others carry rope that could be added to hers, she was light and she could heal so she had to be the one that went down there. She begins to tyr the rope around her waist and her upper legs for greated safety.

"Hurry, use you spell to become invisible," Elendil whispers to Bronwyn. "Once you change stay behind me and keep in touch with me.

Elendil, while waiting for Bronwyn to go invisible, sizes up the best way to get inside the keep. She watches the movement of the goblins to search out the best path to take, and if there are some clear shots, then she is going to take out a few more of her favorite enemy.

This would be a far different type of fight than she had ever been in, having fought off orc and goblin raiders with other elves, Rangers, Warriors, Mages, and Clerics. Thought hshe had the strongest feeling that there were others inside those high walls who fought the goblins, she had now idea who and where they were. On top of that there was the Drow, probably in league with that Bolikar and she was either a cleric of Lolth, or a mage, given the illusion of the great head that floated over the keep and spoke in a booming voice.

Formost in her mind now was keep Bronwyn safe. If she could get the Mage to a defensible position, the Bronwyn could use her wand and Elendil could use her bow bother to defend her and kill as many of the enemy as she could.

Bronwyn followed as Elendil led the way out of the woods her bow in hand and arrow notched just incase the bowman was still about.

Suddenly from the walls of the keep came the booming voice of the apparition in the sky only this time it was not a huge illusion in the air. On top of the battlement stood a huge creature holding a small boulder the size of a keg over his head. He hurled it down into the bailey of the keep. Bolikar was clearly outlined against the night sky. As much as Elendil wanted to loose the arrow, she suddenly realized this was the perfect time for Bronwyn to use her Fireball spell. Shooting with an arrow first might cause him to take cover.

She turned to look at Bronwyn to suggest that she cast her spell on Bolikar when the young mage surprised Elendil.

“That one, that one is my target,” Bronwyn said lowly.

Bronwyn targeted the huge figure on the ramparts and spoke the ancient arcane words of the fireball spell with care and deliberation. The tiny bead of fiery energy raced out from her finger directly to where she had wanted it to go. She watched, with total concentration and a fervent desire for it to engulf that figure in the ravaging explosion of fire. The moment Bronwyn fires off her spell Elendil prepares to add her arrow to the mix.

Elendil fires and draws again for a second shot. If they could seriously injure the great Orc then that might affect the morale of his followers.
