"I know what I leave behind, but I know Corellon is here, and there are Elves here. I find myself tied to seeing that this world continues to stay free of Evil."

"I am drawn to the idea of staying."

Nodding to Trillion she heads back, had she the skill of tracking she could have used her skill as a Shadowdancer to follow the child, but she did not.

Now to return and deal with other matters, one involving Achilles and what he took from the box.

Faith, it was all the Alea had left to give in the end, and this she poured out to Siliwen without hesitation, whatever she could give to Siliwen, she gave. Siliwen had to succeed, the endeavor must succeed, so much depended on it.

With the tenacity of a bulldog Siliwen clung to the chain of the glowing red stone about the neck of the Beast. THen Siliwen reached to bring the ring in contact with the stone and another battle began. The powers of Light within the ring flared to life and grew in intensity to combat the dark powers of the red stone. The room flared with lights fronm both until There was a flare of pure white light.

Exaltation. "Thank you Corellon," escaped her lips as she slipped into the darkness with the profound sense of fulfillment. Alea felt a smile on her lips as her eyes closed knowing that the Light.

(OOC it was morning when you rode into the mists.)

The wind, indeed, moves the mists, but all they seem to do is cause them to swirl about, as if they were contained in an area with no way out, so they just rolled about going nowhere.

Precious, from her perch on Alexandria's shoulders leans her head out starring into the mists.

The downdraft of winds starts the mists into a horizontal swirl, a vortex of mists in the direction they were heading.

I believe, as far a games are concerned, they speak of certain monsters having the ability to cause fear. I think that immune to fear is for that reason and not for the common fears that that plague all sentient beings. like fear of snakes, of fear of failure.

Ande do read the Paksennarion trilogy--you will really understand the making of a Paladin.

"Well, my poppet, you and your friends are about to cross over into the Barrens. I just dropped by to warn you all to be on guard. Magic is not stable in these lands, so a word to the wise, be careful with it. Trust more in any natural abilities you have."

She looks to Dae and Zara and even Moraglin.

"Now, as much as I am loath to leave such manly arms I do have to go, there are things I need to take care of, yesterday."

With that, she was gone.

Zara quick pout is gone and she looks off the the northeast. "Well let's get going."

The next few days of travel left the group just a few hours just short of Tilverton. The days had been hot and dry and the group found themselves seeking shade and water in the heat of the day.
Only the antics of Flame and Precious keep the days from dragging. Their was an afternoon spent in a small river where the two chased trout out of the water, which were scooped up and bagged until dinner. then the evening when the screech owls had their fledgings out in the trees the group camped in and the owlets screeched to be fed. Until Flame and precious drove them off, but not without Flame getting pecked on the nose.

In the evening of the fourth day they were near their destination when a ground fog made keeping to the road more difficult in the waning light. So the group ssettled for camp earlier that usual.

Getting up in the morning, found the group still dealing with a ground fog. Keeping to the road was tricky at times, especially when the road dipped into thicker patches of it. They found a signpost pointing the way, saying Tiverton 3 miles. After that the fog seemed to worsen and finally Lorae took one side of the rode and Brianna took the other and that allowed the remaining 3 to stay between them.

The further they went the murkier it became until the grayness of the fog deepened.

"We need to stop," Lorae called out, "I have lost the side of the road."

About that same time Brianna announced the same thing, in different words.

There is a wonderful trilogy of books by Elizabeth Moon. The Deed of Paksennarion The first books is "THe Sheepfarmer's Daughter", the second in "Divided Alligence", And the last "Oath of Gold". EM really made sense of what a Paladin is and how they come to be, and is great fantasy fiction.

"Go, Sil."

Alea digs down deep into herself and trusting in Corellon moves on the Beast.

(OOC me bad, thought I had posted.)

Alea will move toward The Beast, but still fires arrows at the Shelnak leaders hoping to injure others. she will shoot again at the one she hit first and then moves to other targets all the time getting closer to Sil. SHe is afraid if she just runs up the Beast could easily take her down.

She leaves the option open to make a run for Sil if an oportunity arises.

Tamuriel holds up a hand to Isil, and then put it to her ear and points to the Lizardmen. She wanted to hear what they were saying while the spell was in effect. Maybe she could learn ssomethign from their talk, maybe not. But anything was worth a try.

"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing—after they’ve tried everything else."
-Winston Churchill

Ok, who said this to the Archbishop of Canterbury.

"Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return."
