What about updates for the poor burnt and frozen elf? So I can get to where the other are. I would not want them to wait weeks before the adventure starts

Subject: Bladesinger?
Most of his words were lost on her as Elessarae struggled to push herself up, fighting pain and nausea, and using her anger at all this to give her the strength to do so. Her eyes flashed with fire, and though it was difficult to ingore the Elder Bladesinger, in a sense she did. She did not rise because of his words, of which few registered, but because she had no idea if there would be another attack coming at her.
Concentrating everything she had she used her burnt arms to help push herself up against the door and balanced as best she could on her one good leg. There was little grace in her movements, that would have only brought on more pain, She stood on grit and determination, but did not leave the support of the wall, or sheathe her blade. At least the numbing cold lessened the pain of the burns on that one leg.
She lifted her sword to ready, as best she could even as her arm stayed against the door. Her bright eyes stared back at the others in the room, waiting.
She wondered what they thought at the sight of her. What clothes that she still had on were badly charred scraps, the rest had fallen as ashes back in the corridor. Her skin was blackened, cracked and blistered. Where she was not fried she was frozen.
She wondered of the poor elf that had to play the Orc was being seen to by a healer. She stood her ground wondering if they would all turn into Drow and attack her.
Where she got the where-with-all to speak in an almost natural and polite manner, she would never know, given her strangled and burned throat, burned by sucking is the hot air as the fireball engulfed her, but she managed to speak in an almost normal and formal manner.
"Please forgive my lack of grace, and the fact that I do not seem to be properly attired for this gathering."
Well, her words were not exactly as she had wanted, being that they were a bit clipped and hard edged, but at least they were not hoarse croaks. As she spoke she felt some pain from burns on her face, but not as bad as the rest of her.
Suddenly she had a terrible thought, some burned skin never healed right, could this truly be the end of her canidacy, scarred and maimed by the fire. A bleakness filled her with dread.

Subject: Round 2 Culmination / Round 3 Prep.
Crossbow bolt suddenly strikes the Drow female wielding the knife, in the upper left shoulder. She bites off a cry and continues to attack.
A number of other Drow are unable to attack at this time as they are moving into position.
Xuor: uses his last action to move to another position, this one only gives him sight on the Drow he has already hit. (Xuor (Longbow, composite +3, #1) hits (8+19) AC 27 for 6 HP of damage in the Upper arm Elf, Drow 4 has received 6 hp of P, magic, damage.) This Drow drops the Drow girl’s arm and starts to move to cover. Before he can get to behind a tree Xuor’s second shot (Xuor (Longbow, composite +3, #2) hits (12+14) AC 26 for 6 HP of damage, Elf, Drow 4 has received 6 hp of P, magic, damage in the head) strikes him and he falls limply7 to the forest floor.
Lorae, Who had circled round the fighting, dismounts MoonDancer and moves to a position where she can use her bow.
Brianna Stormrider having rushed forward catches a number of the Drow by surprise. She reaches the Drow holding the Girl she concentrates on the unwounded one.
(Brianna Stormrider (Longsword +3 (Keen, Shocking burst), #1) hits (4+23) AC 27 for 14 HP of damage. Elf, Drow 5 has received 14 hp of S, magic, damage.) The Drow male staggers back, releasing the girl and uses he long sword to parry, but a might sweep on Brianna’s second sword powere through his parry. (Brianna Stormrider (Longsword +3 (Defending, Keen, Thundering), #1) hits (4+19) AC 23 for 14 HP of damage Elf, Drow 5 has received 14 hp of S, magic, damage.) Before he can move his sword Brianna comes back with a second swing of her primary sword. (Brianna Stormrider (Longsword +3 (Keen, Shocking burst), #3) hits (3+13) AC 16 for 17 HP of damage. Elf, Drow 5 has received 17 hp of S, magic, in the chest.) Mortally wounded the Drow goes down
Logan finally reaches the battle arena in time to see a Drow felled by arrows and another slashed by Brianna.
There is a sudden scream as Flame darts in from of a crossbowman about ready to shoot, a gout of fire hits him in the face and jerking he fires into the air. (Flame (Breath, #1) hits (17+16) AC 33 for 9 HP of damage Elf, Drow 8 has received 9 hp of Fire damage in the Face)
A number of other Drow race forward to try and retake the girl, but they slow as the Drow dagger weilder reaches the girl and takes up a defensive stance, when Brianna charges in and carves up one of their comrades, and a hidden bowman peppers another of their band with arrows.
All Drow and PCs are in place for actions this round. Roscoe will arrive in round four.

Subject: Round One Culminations & Round 2 Prep
As other move into position, Xuor gets off a first shot the arrow flies straight and true striking a Drow(4)in the head.
Arrrrhhhh," he cries, as he staggers, but he does not drop the girl or fall himself (Xuor, if you have a second shot-Please post what you are doing. Also read back in the recent posts to see how I want the action posts done.)

Round 2 Xuor and Brianna have actions, The attention of some of the Drow are now on Brianna as a seen attacker, a couple of other are allerted to that fact that there is an enemy bowman nearby.

Subject: Into the Fray
Brianna moves forward towards the drow that are dragging off the girl. Her primary intention is to force them to release the girl by attacking them. She uses her twins swords to both attack and parry. She tries to pick a path through the drow so that she can get to them first, but if she incounters any attackers she will engage them. Brianna in fighting mode is rather awesome sight. 6'3" of lean hard muscle broad sholders (for a woman). She swings her swords with practices ease.

I will be doing all the rolling as I have all the characters loaded into DMGenie.
Each of you, when it is your move, will post your intended action. Give a good desription of how you advance of hide, then give a blow by blow account of you attacks, and contingency actions,and or if you have a second action.
Description and then I aim at x, if x does not fall I shoot at him again, if x falls my second shot is at y.

Xuor has a shot.
Brianna will need one round to get to the two dragging the female.
Logan will be in bow position in 2 rounds and melee position in 3 rounds.
Lorae will be in bow position in one round.
Roscoe stayed with the horses.

Subject: Sounds of Fighting
Between Xuor's skill and care and the heighthening sounds of fighting, no one hears here as Xuor reaches the site ofd a vicious fight between to groups of Drow. A quick observatiuon will show that one smaller group is hunkered down behind whatever cover they could find, theya re dressed much like any light elf, living in the forest. The larger group attacking them is much better armored and have a less the forest dweller style of dress.
As Brianna moves in to back up Xuor, there is a sudden rush of attackers on a hidding spot and the scream of a woman and then the terrified cry of a younger female.
Seeming to have accomplished their objective the attackers draw back, two of them dragging a teenage drow female wioth them as the others covered their reteat. An older female is trying to follow them her dagger being wielded as only a mother in defense of her young would dare.

Subject: Brianna What's going on?
Brianna lifts her hands and motions to the other to slow and be silent with one hand held sidewways across her lips. She too dismounts and moves up slowly forward, though not all the way forward in that scouting and creeping about were not her forte.
She did want Xuor's efforts wasted by her lack of skill. She would just be ready to move forward if she were needed.

I have 3 with rolls submitted, Xuor, Lorae and Brianna. I am aware that it is the Xmas, New Years time and that many people go away for the season if I do not hear for Logan or Roscoe by Thursday I will roll for them.

Subject: Lunch in the Saddle.
As not one seems to hear her suggestion Lorae pulls some bread and cheese from her saddlebag and munches on it, while walking alongside Dancer.
The warmth of the sun does not reach all the way down to the forest floor, and for that the travelers could be truely grateful as it was a hot summer day. But by the afternoon the heat has had time to filter down and it warms the travelers quite easily.
The drone of insects is loud enough to wake the dead, but none of the group seems much bother by them, no flies, or gnats, or no-see-ums.
Only as the sun drops low in the west does the Forest cool somewhat.
(OOC: Spot and Listen rolls from everyone, unless you are blind  , or deaf.)

Subject: Quiet as theFall of Dapple Shadows on the Forest Floor
Brianna just nods and then gives her stallion a gently scratch on the neck. Her red sorrel mare follows her without a lead line and is unencumbered by pack or tack. his stride lengths but is long and low. Brianna makes some soft "shushing" sounds. Both horse seem to walk more quietly.

Subject: Test or Dismissal
How much of what Elessar is wearing has been burned and where is she burned. Also is the rapier wound on the right or left side.
I thought long and hard about what her reaction would be like. It seems the bad dice rolls sort of leant themselves for her getting the wrong idea about what has been happening to her. Being almost strangled to unconsciousness and then the pain of the Fireball, then the Orc/Elf's attack. Bingo, they don't want her around.
Pain clouds reason.
I figure you will have to make Fortitude and Will saves if she is going to make it to the forest.

The jays do exactly what Lorae thought and race through the trees squawking and making a racket that faded as the jays followed the one with the bread. 
Anyone in the forest listening for a group of upset birds to indicate the movement of something in the area, would have to chase the disappeared flock.

Pain exploded with every movement and yet she managed to side step the Orc/Elf's sword stroke.
With the white hot flare of pain came another pain born of a terrible thought. The Pain of Failure, it came to her that this might not be a test, but a dismissal, that somehow she had failed to make the grade. That she was no longer a Bladesinger candidate. She half turned to keep the Orc in sight.
She took another step, using the momentum of her lunge to carry her forward toward the window as she dodged the tiles the Orc/Elf had overstepped. First came the message in the misdt of a testing. Another step even faster, Then no one opens the doors when she presented herself and the scroll. Did they mean that to be a parting lesson in humility, was she to have just walked away? But she had not, and sought to enter the Keep by another way.
A third step, now almost to a run and she was nearing where the secret door was. The first trap, where she was almost strangled should have been another clue, that she was not wanted in the Keep then came the first cut buy the Orc's rapier. Rapier! Why had that not caught her attention before. Orc's did not use rapiers.
No! no time for what was, only what is and what must be. Elessar tightens her focus and just keeps alert and moving, she somehow hopes the Orc/Elf will let her go and not attack because that was what they wanted her to do, leave.
Reaching the door, there was no door. She did the have the hands or strength to get out hetr pipes and play again. She did lift her sword to the ready position, even as her burned skin cracked and screamed pain to her mind. Elessar side stepped, so as not to leave her back to a secret door that could be opened behind her. She then tries to get to the door the Orc came out of, side stepping along the wall, eyes on the Orc and on the other doors, not seeing the blood that ran down from her lower torso to stain the expensive rugs.
If no attack comes before she gets to the door she was heading to, she will try to open it. There had to be a window in there, one she could use to get out of the Keep.
Strange, how she had fought to be accepted as a candidate for Bladesinger and now she had to fight to leave.

Elessar could not let the pain and furstration cloud her focus, instead she used it, focusing it by the power of her mind, using it to bring her body under iron control. Yes there was great pain, yes the disguised elf had still attacked her. All of her pain and frustration became enflamed will, tuned to dealing with the Orc. At the same time she locked in her mind the tiles that the Orc had overstepped.
A sheep in wolf's clothing was a wolf.
Elessar made a sword lunge at the Orc/Elf, as it was the fastest sword maneuver she could make.

Subject: Through the Forest, Wild and Free
After a hour of riding, the Forest becomes something more than even Xuor could imagine. Giant maples, looming pines and towering oaks, speak of a different time and a different place. The great forest was a living testament of a forgotten green age, a time before humans, and other races that came to use and abuse it. It was said that the Forest covered from Dragon Reach to and over Cormyr and Sembria.
The forest teemed with life and at the same time weighed heavy with age.
The adventures followed a narrow track best suited for horse or foot travel, though a cart or small wagon could negotiate it. As the River Ashaba winds through the forest, the path takes a straighter track, but every so often the river swung close to the trail so then is an easy opportunity to water the horses. So far Draug has not alerted Xuor as to anything out of the ordinary. The Wolf walks or lopes along side of Xuor when not ranging out into the nearby forest.
Flame is a terror in the trees the warning calls of jays and squirrels seemed to be the most persistent of the sound as the dragonette swooped around trees and dodged branches.

"But I am a true dragon," pipes the creature, and in a sense he was. Roscoe can see that he does not have a scorpian's tail, and he is bright fiery red in color, not rusty like a psuedodragon.
"I'm just small for my size." He puffs out his chest and lifts his head high. "I can even breathe fire."
He breathes in and then out jets a tiny cone of fire. Brianna feels the heat of it on her cheek. As the smoke goes by Shadowbane's head he turns his head about and rolls a red eye at the dragonette.
Flame darts into the air. "Don't let him eat me!"
