IF ships are locked in combat and shields are up and anything happened to a cloaking device on the Charon, there would be no one there to repair it.

Subject: Oko for a Romulan

Here is a sample of her writing:

Unmoving Oko will watch as a group of people arrive, 3 on foot and 1 mounted, he recognized the people as the ones he had eaten earlier with. He will watch the pirate noting that for a “seadog” he rode very well. The big black horse he was on responded well to his rider.

Oko was a bit dismayed that the bulk of the group he was to join, were not very observant. When Dae waved to him, he then rode quietly up along side of her not saying anything he just nodded at her, acknowledging her greeting, he will watch as the stable boy nearly got bitten by the big black wondering why Septimus did not wave him off to avoid any trouble. The big black smelt like trouble.

Most horses fall into 2 groups when they first encounter a Felani, They will either panic or attack. The black looked like he would attack.

When Zara enters the corral insisting on the bad tempered mule (by the grace of the Gods why would she pick a mule??) He is surprised when Septimus rushes in to protect her, (Why save her and not the stable boy?) Oko watches, curious as to what the pirate will do next, and catches the remark from Zara about a Ring of Animal Communication.

He then turns to Dae and quietly asks “Do you have a ring as well? One that will let you talk with animals? If so can you please talk to that big black horse and tell him I mean him no harm and to not attack as soon as he catches my scent. I do not wish to start the journey on such a bad note.”

Subject: The Incident in the Hall or Ouch

Stardate: 2374.08.31
USS Cerberus – Transporter Room 2 – 1013 hours

“Thank you, Captain,” her words follow the man out the hatch.

Next she turns to Rrowl, “Lt Commander Rrowl,” again she rolls her rs in just the right way, “I will be expecting your information, as soon as you have reviewed your data and assigned personnel to guard the cloaking devices. For this time I will leave them in your...” Sienae tightened straight up to stave off the wave of pain that swept across her back, bad timing for a muscle spasm, “...hands, as my people will be engaged in dry runs of fitting the device into your ship and the Charon, when we get to her.”

Sienae let out a sign as she left the Transporter Room after the Captain, leaving the Kizinti, and the giant blonde Lieutenant behind in the Transporter Room. She was trying to collect her thoughts through the pain in her back, when S’Talon came up beside her.

“What did you expect, though the Captain hid his dislike in formalities, with thinly veiled distrust.” Talon spoke lowly, below the normal range of hearing. The comlinks the Federation military all used were universal translators. “Now, the Kizinti was far less able to hide his hatred. I thought for a minute he would attack, except his Captain interceded.”

“It is not going to be a easy trip.” Sienae nodded her agreement to Talon’s perspective on the matter.

Talon looks at Sienna not acknowledging that he knows she is hurting. “I will bring your gear later after I see the team to their quarters with their gear. You may rest assured all will be handle properly.”

Luckily none of the Starfleet officers were around to hear this conversation.

She carefully turns to and realizes that she did not have exact directions to her quarters.

“Crewman,” she turned to look at one of the Security personnel that had followed her out, “Will you please find out the number of the room on Deck 3 that has been assigned to us. And where is the nearest lift.” Sienae figurered she and S’Talon would be put together. She waits for the answer.

After the information was offered, she turns smoothly to the nearest lift, as indicated, by the crewman.

Once on Deck 3 one of the Security team leads the way to the Guest Quarters, down a short hall he indicates one door, "This is for your Sec. in Command, Room 03-012 and you are across the hall in 03-013. Some one is Ops will be here soon to set the door security for you."

One of the crewman leads the way to the nearest lift and to deck 3. Then he leads then down the curved hall to a bisecting straight hall. At the end of the hall he stops. “Centurion you’re in 03-013 and your Second is in 03-012.”

Sienae was surprised that they each got their own room she was more surprised as her room was opened by Security and she went to step in. It was huge, compared to anything on a Romulan warbord. In the first room there was a divan, a desk with a computer monitor on it and there was a large table with 6 chairs, for eating or meetings. There were works of art on the wall and even some green plants hanging in containers or standing up in pots on the floor.

“Centurion," the crewman states. "You need to place you hand on this door pad and the security system will recognize you as the occupant and only open to you.”

“What if I want another to be able to enter as well?” Sienae turnsed and stepped yp to the door.

“Then they mucst touch it too, after they do just need to tell the door to shut, and after that the door will recognize you and whoever else has touched the pad.”

As Talon was behind her and closer to the pad, she nods to him. Talon puts his hand on the pad first. Sienae move up and goes to do the same.

When a gasp of pain and a string of curses that caused the Starfleet crewman to blush as the words and idioms were translated Sienae grabbed the door and held on for dear life. Her back arched painfully in a deep concave as the spasm continued to build.

To the credit of one of the secruity team he tapped his com link. “Sickbay....”

“Noooo!” hissed Sienae through clenched teeth. “Its just....a muscle....spasm.”

“Ssss’Talon.”

“It is a recent battle injury.” Talon gives just that brief explanation and then turns and hands the long box he was carrying to one of the crewmen, “Put it down for in inside and go. Now where is the bedroom?” He slips an arm under her shoulder, but does not touch her back and half supporting her to the door which opens as they approach. In a couple minutes and he returns, “I need some water.”

A crewman goes over to the replicator and asks for a glass of pure water and hands the glass to the Talon. He goes back in and returns. “Let’s get my room opened and the door imprinted.”

Once that is done Talon returns to SIenna's room. He does not care now what the Security team does or thinks, Strong hands deadly in in unarmed combat were also skilled in techniques that help relieve stress and strain, after 20 minutes of massage he checks on his Centurion and saw she was a;seep. Her back was finally eased from the spasms that sfflicted her since the accident.

(Not sure if the Security team is supposed to be watching them, standing guard outside their doors, or so they just return to their regular posts.)

Talon then takes time to put the long box on her sleeping room and lets himself out to check on the rest of the contingent.

If the Security personnel are around nearby. Talon strides up to them and and declares stonily. "The Centurion does not wished to be distrubed. I will handle any difficulties that may arise until you are told different by myself or the Centurian. You will relay that to your Captian, also."

That "also" had more that one meaning and Talon was making sure the security crewmen knew that he did too.

She moves to the next closest blind or downed beast and swings with her full might, two hands on her hilt. Only after she hits, does she cry out Corellon's name, she was not so foolish as to alert the beast she was there before hand.

She is in full battle mode driven by the evil they represent. These enemies must die.

Lots waiting on Rrowl/AKA Olan as he needs to react and interact with the Romulan Commander, ME. I have been waiting since the 26th, my last post.

As for the rest I am not sure. My sister has to post her intro. And I have a friend that is going to be one of My Romulans that is fleshing out her character. I also have to flesh out my Marine, who I think will go the the Charon--we will see. Eol busted her to Gunnery Sgt she is the twin sister of the MACO Commanding NCO.

We need a 10 Forward so that people not dealing with ship things can drink and gab there.

Is there a Bar, or Lounge onboard the Cerberus? It would be a great place for people to introduce themselves.

As Alex leads the way, they soon find the spice seller that the man in the market had mentioned.

"Someone needs to watch the horses and I will not be long, though if anyone wants to come in they can."

Zara pops off her horse and hurries into the shop, she pauses at the door and drinks deeply of its riot of scents, something Oko can smell from outside. It's enough to cause his nose to wrinkle.

Inside she finds the shop keeper busy so she looks about for what she wants. The shop was full of exotic spices, hence the barred windows and even a second barred door. Spices like these were worth a noble's ransom.

Once the shop keeper is free Zara hurries up and hands him a list she had made out. Soon the shop keeper calls out an assistant to do the grinding that Zara had asked for. Eack pepper spice had its own mortar and pestle so that flavors would not be mixed.

"Please, may I ask, spoke the owner as he gathered the spices on her list, "what do you need all these peppers for?"

"Sure," replied Zara, "They're to make pepper bombs."

When she has her finely ground pepper now double wrapped and bagged tahe places the package into her haversack and goes out to where the horses wait.

With a couple of the creatures down, Alea moved to a position where it would be difficult to be kicked with the barbed legs or with the creature's weapon. Her hear is pounding in her chest, but these creatures acted with Evil intent and by Corellon they deserved to die. She had been in combat before, this was not her first fight, but theese were strange creatures on a strange would so she has been watching how they handle themselves. They are arrogant, boastful, not used to being twarted, fast, but not so manueverable as their two footed opponents, and that could be used against them. Even as she moved to attack a downed creature, she was thinking of what they needed to use should they meet them again.

Contentrating on one enemy at a time Alea moves try to kill the downed creatures as quickly as possible. But she keeps a lookout to be sure she is not leaving herself vulnerable, or if any of her newly found friends needed help.

As she can strike she calls out, "For Corellon! For Good! Death to the Master and his servants!"

Subject: Elessarae

Elessarae's heart is pounding in her throat as she approaches the tree, not sure if the tree itself might animate and entangle her in its roots or branches. As the Goblin reacts to being hit by a acorn she pulls up her cloak's hood to cover her head she wipes off the Goblin's head with the bottom edge of her cloak as they move in closer to the tree. She flinches as she is hit by acorns she could not dodge.

Once she rubs the tree with the potion, she flys back with the Goblin in tow. She moves well away from the tree before setting down. Tying the goblin to a tree, she strips all her clothes off, and uses water from water skin to wash off all her skin under where she was hit by the acorns. Though all hit the cloak she was afraid there might have been some bleed through. She uses the last of her water to rinse off the Goblin's head. She also checks all her equipment to be sure none was hit by the acorns or showed any damp spot to indicate that some of the mushy innards of the arcorns had bled through. If she suspects any piece as tainted she will burn it too.

"Do you have a fire spells left?" If all the Mage's fire spells are used up Elessarae gathers wood and uses her flint and steel to start a fire to burn them.

She stands next to Comrade, for warmth and comfort as they make sure all the clothes and equipment are consumed by fire. The magnitute of what had transpired since she had first entered the village was now seeping into her bones. Had she been other than what she was she might have run back to the tower, told them the problem and be done with it, but she had choosen the path of a Bladesinger and that carried with it duty to the Sylvari lands and the Sylvari people.

All the way back to the attack of the Demon Owls on Comrade's mother, to the attack on the High Druid in his Tower, and all the other attacks by the mutated animals of unusual size, it all boiled down to this day, but would it be enough. Could there be other groups of Goblins in the Sylvari Lands and other diseased trees. Even though this had not been what she had been sent out to do, it was a duty that had to take prescedents. Though ostensively she was to learn about the situations of the goblins in the Charkhan Mts, and this had to be linked to it. She only wondered now, as the flames consumed her clothes,

Luckily her boots took no hits being shielded by her cloak and she made sure that when she landed that she kept her cloak back away fron her legs. The three of them made it back to the village with no problem. She keeps a watchful eye out for any Goblins and calls for Gharion, and keeps a lookout for any of the their horses. Once back to the village, she ties the Goblin to a tree and gives the mage her dagger.

"If he starts to change in anyway, kill him, and..." she pauses with a lump in her throat, "...if I start to feel myself changing I will return here and I ask you....to kill me."

If none or not all of the mounts is found before they get back to the village and if there there is any fly time left she will fly about looking for any of the horses, the Mage's and the guards' mounts, and Gharion. Elessarae starts her search where she had last sent Gharion safely away. She will track him, even if she has to light a torch, as Gharion's packs hold her extra sets of clothes and moreso because the bay gelding had earned a place in her heart for his depth of heart, his willingness and his endurance.

At one point she pauses and look to Comrade. "Call to him, Comrade. Call to Gharion," she says though she does not think the colt will understand her.

They need the horses for Elessarae wants to take the bodies of the 2 dead guards back with her. If they can not find all of the horses, then 3 would do, or 2, or 1. There is no safe place for them to rest here. For rest they would have to return to the tower, even if it meant leaving the bodies and walking all night dragging the Goblin with them.

Speaking in Elven, "How long will it last?". While listening Elessarae takes out her dagger and cuts the armor off the Goblin.

Once the Mage explains the delivery method of the Potion of the Lotus of Light and how long the spell would last she will continue to do what she said first, drive the goblin before her towards the tree hoping to learn something of its dangers.

After speaking with the Mage she will turn to the unarmored Goblin, "If I safely travel to the tree and back to the Mage, I will let you free, if not you will probably die from whatever it is that tries to attack me for I will use you as a shield. Or if I am attacked and we both survive, I will track the Troll and give you to him. I suspect even now he is feasting on Goblins, for the way you chained him and treated him."

To prove her words she urges the Goblin up to the edge of the soggy ground, then in Goblin "Okay, you first." Elessarae presses the point of her sword into the Goblin's back.

If the Goblin informs her of the dangers she will make whatever other decisions that she can. One course is to continue eto use the Goblin as bait or a shield while she flies behind him. The other would be to leave him tied to a tree with orderes to the Mage to get him back to the Tower for further questioning.

"Luronya," cast your spell," Elessarae will fly carefully to the tree on extreme alert, deliver the potion as the Mage directed and return.

It is all she can do, hopefully she can gain enough money to get a communicate with animals ring, for now she hoped Comrade had the intelligence to understand the few words she has used with him, bad being one of them. Then too, considering the number of times she was using her healing wand she would have to replenish it soon.

Suddenly she gets an idea, "Luronya, do you have a fly spell?"
