With a cry of anguish Elessarae draws her sword and prepares to go out after the creature. As much as she would like to help the innkeeper, she could not, for the more the creature was free the more the dead there would be.

Once the group was left alone in the Inn, Elessarae decided to tell them now and then repeat it. She stands to speak
"If you will please attend I will tell you what is known." She looks to the singular man off to the side, but will not wait for him, but speaks loud enough to be heard by him.
"Sylvaria is under attack, this plague of MAOUS, mutate animals of unusual size, was caused by trees infected with some sort of poison that Goblins from the Chakran Mts. had brought with them to create this problem. In fact a whole troop of them plus one ogre had descimated an entire village not more than a few hours ride from Flame Tower."
"The one tree I dealt with was a great oak, its bark was darkened, its leaves were red and the acorns it shead were like tiny rotten melons. The Goblin I had gotten to lead me to the tree with me reacted violently when an acorn hit him on the head after making him walk to the tree at swordpoint. The ground under the tree was soggy. I believe that animals are infected by contact with the infected trees and then changed into these monsters that have been attacking the Sylvari. The infection has spread all the way down to the borders of the Southern and Middle kingdoms. That is where I first found a trio of Demon Owls who were attacking Com--Moon Shadow's mother."
"I will tell you now that I was sent for Megilindar Nost to join you, but only until I got to the Chakran Mts. I had been given a side job, to check out the activity of the Goblins in the mountains." She understood from the letter that hers was to be a secret mission, but somehow circumstances had entirely changed that. It was her own decision that she shared the secret with these people, she wanted to deal openly and truthfulkl with them.
"Well I found out what they were doing without even reaching the Northern Kindom, they poisoning our trees in a prelude, I believe, to war. Beyond that I have come to believe that there is someone else behind what the goblins did to the trees, it is beyond goblin intelligence to dream up such a plan."
"I feel that there is a incidiously evil mind at work here. I also have come to believe that there could be an antidote for the tree plague where it was originated, somewhere in the Chakrn Mts. That whoever wants to take over our lands would not want to continue to deal with the problems of their own making."
"So far the mages and sages at Flame Tower have rediscovered a plant that can be used to reverse the plague, but it is a slow process to cultivate the Lotus of Light."
Finished she sits and waits for questions. She reaches out and puts a hand on Comrade's shoulder for comfort. He would always be her Comrade.

The woman looks to Highnar, "For give me if I sounded incredulous, I saw your numbers and the dead, I just was astounding on realizing that 7 of you here helped us be victorious in the Battle of EvenSong, without even being in the main battle."
"When we return to Asbenford, You must tell the tale of your part in this battle, it will be one for the bards to sing."
Lorae returns from gathering the magical pieces that Cerric had pointed out.
"Your people," she says to the woman, "are free to scavenge whatever is left on the field. We have taken what we want."
"Thank you, sit will in somepart help EvenSong rebuild a few houses that were lost in fire."
With that the group turns and rides out of the forest and then west to the road to Asbenford. It is late at night as they ride in, The rider break off from them, except for their female officer, She lead them straight to the White Hart Inn where Brianna and Lorae had been before. When they ride there is a half elf coming out as they dismount.
He steps off the porch, "I will take you horses and see to them."
When he sees the white and black stallions he pauses, "I will have to move horses, but they will get stalls," he says waking up to Brianna. "I hope the Black has settled your mare, so there is no more trouble with him."

Alea did not have much money to by anything, but she did get some lengths of rope cheat because they were short, and six heavy fishing weights made of lead with holes in them to tie a rope to. With the aid of one of the local fishermen to splice the ropes together with the weights, she has him contruct 2 bolas. She then buys more rope to make lassos from.
Traveling went easily enough and dinner and sleep were welcome. So when there came screams in the night she jerked awake and up with her spear, she kept by her, in her hand.

"There is news," begins Elessarae, "and I would impart it to all, so in this I must wait on the leadership of the town, and the local druid, if any. What I have to report can be said all at once and all questions answered to the best of my ability." She lowers her voice so just those at the table can hear her, "Suffice it to say Sylvaria in under attack by the Goblins out of the Chakran Mountains."

Rather heavy on Dwarves, but then it did not matter to her, they were going to the Chakran Mountains for an entirely different reason tha she. Elessarae wondered how long they might be together, until her duties took her a different direction.

Geim does wonder about a bladesinger without any funds but she looks an honest lass and something might have happened to seperate her from her money. THere were several odds things about the youngling, but her would ask his questions after he offered her the information she wanted and perhaps were less guarded in her manner. Drinks loosen the tongue.
Geim stands up. "Aye, that be us," Geim pipes up while giving a stern look to Thondrek. "Just sit yourself down and I'll be buying you your first drink." I am Geimiedehfer, Cleric to Kharox, at your service." These are my companions, though they can introduce themselves while I get back to my drink, after I order yours.
Geim motions the tavern serving girl over. "Bring what she wants will ye?"

"If you are the group heading to the Chakran Mountains I would wish to have enough money to to buy you drinks," replies Elessarae, "but circumstances have left me with limited funds, an I have a distance to go yet and may be forced to sing for my board and bed."
She glances at the dwarf with an aplolgetic look. Had she not been sent off on this mission halfway between home and Megilindar Nost she might have been given funds by the Elder Council to see her through her travels to the Chakran Mountains and back, but that did not happen so here she was living off the tiny purse the Elder had tossed her to purchase a horse and tack, and the 15 silvers the High Druid had given her. Not a lot of money to see her through her travels from the southern end of Silvaria to the far north, and there was still a a lot of territory to cover to reach the mountains.
"Are you the group headed to the Chkran Mountains?" Elessarae asks bluntly, otherwise there was no reason to be here with them.

Elessarae looked about the table and wonders how the others would take her company. It was not enough that she was sent to join them, but it would seem they had not expected her, their strange looks as she came over, and when she said that she was coming to join them, had not chanced their looks and demeanor.
One elf , a Ranger by dress, was eyeing her had some sort if change to his face, though it was not a positive one, maybe because she seemed too young to be a Bladesinger, and she had called herself one, even though she was one quite contrary to the idea that Bladesingerswere mature and seasoned warriors.

"Medical advise taken," says Sienae, returning her under officer's salute.
"Now, you can return to your quarters and alert the others that we will have dinner here at 1800 hours, ship time. I also want you to check with the PTB (Powers That Be) for holodeck time to do a few dry runs on installing the cloaking device on the Cerberus."
Sienae then turns to look out of the great window passed the space docks and into the far reaches of space.
"We are not the most welcome guests, are we."
