Subject: Lorae

Lorae gives Vatta a quick glance. "I will go after him. It is not safe to go alone. I will try to bring him back."

Lorae races outside, where Moon Dancer stands saddled and ready in a way that marked him as a paladin's mount. No matter how fast the Druids horse might be Lorae's stallion was soon in Julius's dusty wake.

The great strides of the half-celestial Moon Steed closed the distance between them before Julius even got to the crossroads. She doubted that Julius would hear them coming, sos light was the footfall of a Moonsteed. She finally pulls along side of the Drouid and reaches out a hand to his arm, and Moon Dancers starts to slow.

"Hey Mikey! Where's my carmal popcorn? "Bartender!" a new bottle of Mountain Dew.

A serving wench come quickly with a large green glass bottle in a bucket of ice. "Ah, just as I like it cold, but no ice inside eto polute its tangy flavor." She scoops up some Ice to chill her gold mug.

She let it sit in the ice and looks about. She nods to the newcomer and a strange look comes across DM's face. Deja vu. something is telling her she knows this young woman, but not in this garb. Yet the pattern of metal links keys her memory to patterned gray material of a stark military cut.

Eledil is miffed that she missed the goblins, but smiled as the Drow jerked as one of her errant arrow sliced her in passing. Seeing the Drow and her companions rallying to the keep Elendil makes ready to move into action.

"Bronwyn we need to move."

Eledil fades back deeper into the trees and then moves to get as close as she can to the keep before leaving cover. She takes up more arrows in her left hand and set an arrow into place.

Once they get as close as they can Elendil heads for the gate, yelling to Bronwyn, "Run!"

Zara reaches out and pats him on the shoulder, "Meet Destiny?," she smiles slightly, "Destiny is like Fate. One does not actually have to go out to meet it, somehow it finds us anyway."

She then swings up on her mule, "Time to ride." She waits for Alex to mount and then joins in next to him.

"Okay, Oko. The direction is thataway," she points North East.

As the group moves out, Zara falls into silence. She drops into a state of meditation and lets the mule just follow the others. Her thoughts, now free, move into areas that the others, even Dae, could not fathom, though her half sister at least knew that Zara was capable to such levels of thought.

Lorae was in a quantry as just how to break the news of Tilverton to this man. She had heard the news about Tilverton some time ago. It seems Julius was not in contact with the people for some time, and by his own words he said as much. He assumed Tilverton was still there and it was not.

"Julius," Lorae says softly, "If you son lived in Tilverton, he is not there," she pauses, "because Tilverton is not there where it was."

Rhiannon uses her Mindtime to aid her in financal dealings, much as her father did. She also does the psychic thing, fortune telling, psycometry, tarot, etc, much like her sister.

Because of their high intelligence they each teach each other what they have learned. They are very eclectic seekers of knowledge. One can't know enough trivia.

"Bye," Zara says at a loss for other words. She looks on with sadness as the old ranger rides away, with the bear lopping along side. "Bye Oso, I save you some honeycomb."

After watching until the rider and bear disappeared over a hill, zara turned back to the others.

"Well I suppose it is time to move on," she gathered stuff together and put it away in her bag of holding.

Zara goes over to Sebastion and checks the position of the saddle before tightening his girth. She watched his ears to make sure that she did not do it too fast or too tight.

( Sorry for the down time I forgot to tell you that Sept. is a very slow month for games I DM. I hope I can get Utan back.)

DM look at the kitten and calls to it. "Here Kitty, Kitty," she patted her leg hoping it would join her. She loved cats especially cats that liked being petted. Her cat at home was a bit dememted from a time when it had been in a fight and had gotten an infection in is head. She hated being held, even for a moment. Thought I suppose when wI had to clean out the shunts in her head every day and the disinfect the wounds, that she equated being held as torture.

Well, come to think Tugger was always a bit strange. You could pet her head and shoulders, but not the base of her back or tail. Strange we had her from a baby, as we owned her mother, a slut of a cat, and she was never hurt by us. Oh, well.

"Come on up Kitty."

Hurray, those extra points helped! Had a lot of mundane background skills to create the characters we wanted. Now to do their background.

And, Yes. Knowing the setting will help in creting the background.

Subject: Extra Points

I agree that all PC's should get the benefit of extra points and also that they must be used in at least 3 catagories with no more the 1/2 in any one area.

For our characters it means more skills to fill out their background, and attributes to fit our concept of them.

Does not like the odds against the Dwarf and it sounded like her had a valid reason to call out the humans. With a shrug of the soulders her pack slid to the front to the side of thte door and swiftly she moved round the others to come up behind one of the human's trying to move in on the dwarf. She silently slides her sword out of its well oiled sheath.

She raises the tip of her blade and touches it to the back of the dirty ruffian's neck.

"I do believe, one on one is a fair fight. Though the Dwarf may feel that three to one is acceptable."

I found it too.

In the world of WitchCraft, some of these “immortals” are supernatural creatures, like the Vampyres or the Sidhe, whose lifespans are much greater than those of humans. Other
Undying Ones are Gifted humans whose power and wisdom have defeated the aging process. Those who knowthe occult truths of the world refer to them as “Lesser” or “Common” Immortals.

I figure we are only part Sidhe, and we'll take the appropriate Age Quality when we can.

Topic: When the Silence Breaks...
Subject: Liriel

Liriel finished eating a meal and drinking a hot mulled cider, then she went out with Araianne to get the needed supplies and to find a proper journal book to keep records of their travels and maps as needed. She went with the Ranger at the appointed time to meet the others

“I am glad to see you here, my friends. I trust you are all ready for departure?”

A mumbling of agreement came from them, and Gunther smiled widely. “Then we shall be off.” He nodded towards the other Gano who waited with him. “This is Lorin, he has come with me from my home of Dankirr to seek out assistance. It would seem my search has earned more success, though.” He winked at Lorin, who merely shrugged.

Liriel took the time to jot a list of those who were heading out on the quest, and when they finally departed and from where.

Passing through the gates, the group set forth onto the Old Kerrn Road, which snaked out far to the north to eventually creep through the Icereach. It was the main route to the north of Sankirst, intersecting a few major highways along the way before it plunged into the tundra. Wheel ruts had long-since forged two distinct lanes in the road, though itstill remained relatively smooth, the signs of Queen Madrigaia’s careful usage of tax money to ensure things remained in working order.

A few other travelers shared the roadway, often tossing a glance at the strange group that marched along; two Gano, a Syln, two Dur’Amani, and a Duskarn, along with a compliment of mules and mounts.

...

Throughout the trek that morning, Liriel would ask Gunther about certain landmarks they passed and the direction they were going. Partway into the morning she began to sing as she walked. It was a very simple melody and words, but after singing it in Elven as it was written, she started to translate it to Common.

Sing with me, I’ll sing with you,
And so we will sing together,
So we will sing together,
So we will sing together.
Sing with me, I’ll sing with you,
And so we will sing together
As we walk along.

We are walking to cold Dascau,
Cold Dascau,
Cold Dascau,
We are walking to cold Dascau,
Cold Dascau, today.

“There is a town ahead, just off the road, called Evis Nollan. It is about seven hours away at a steady pace, but we won’t be able to reach it before dark. There, we will find a warm inn at an affordable price. While I am content traveling in the dark, I don’t know about you… Lorin and I are much more suited to the cold that will come with the darkness.” He took a bite of an apple and a pull of water from a leather skin, which he passed around. “If you wish to try to reach Evis Nollan, we’ll go through the first few hours of night. But if shelter is preferred, we’ll make a sheltered campsite when dusk approaches, and set out again in the morning. May I ask who is in favour of each decision?”

“I, for one, prefer a bed,” Liriel says honestly, not that she had to have it, but with the offer made she wanted to voice her opinion.

She never expected it to be an easy trip, and knew that soon they would be beyond civilized lands. The thought was daunting, but she would not turn aside from the endeavor once she had promised to join the group.

Is there anyone about who can help us figure out the best way to build characters.

Jeanne and I are going to play Twins, Gifted and with the Sight--being 7th daughters of a 7th Daughter and of Welsh, Scottish, Irish, and Romany descent.

Dex and Intel are high on our list of Attributes, as are Preception and some Char. Already figured a story for having an emeny/protagonist type.

She too wants to get going, knowing every minute wasted would mean more lives lost in the battle to come.

Elendil is almost surprised by Bronwyn's sudden about face. From somewhere the small Human had gotten some backbone, she no longer cried out for Eledil to lead her away, but to attack.

Elendils bow was already out and she targeted the enemy about the door. If she could drop enough of them then those inside would haver to try to clear them away before closing the gates.

"Stay behind me," she yells over the screams of the dying and frightened.

She moves up as far as she can in cover, dropping anything that enters, leaves or crosses the gate.
