Subject: Laptop Problem
I had to take my laptop to the computer store for a mind wipe yesterday due to Virus attacks.
Am only on here for a few minutes via a laptop of one of my friends.
Should have mine back later this week sometime hopefully!
Will not be posting in games until I do!

Lions
I remember listening to the Lions game on radio in 1962 when the Lions did not have a Prayer against the Undefeated Packers! Joe Schmidt (the Fearsome Foursome with Alex Karras) and company upset the Packers (Paul Hornung, Bart Starr and company) and Vince Lombardi refused to ever play the Lions on Thanksgiving again in his coaching lifetime!
Cowboys
Although I think the Dolphins could make this a close game I will have to go with the Cowboys! Romo implodes another day!
Ravens
Battle of the Coach Brothers I have to give the edge and win to the Ravens who have not lost to a team above .500 this season thus far. I think Jim Harbaugh will lose his cool against his brother on his brother's home turf and his brother knows how to push his buttons! Home Field advantage wins out for the Ravens!

..... posted his reactions to the incoming horde of Kobalds and how he is dealing with them by brandishing his wand Wanda and unleashing a Lightning Bolt spell in the direction of the Kobalds most likely to pursue from behind.
So all we need is each of you to post your reaction and the spell or action you are taking with the abilities of your multi-class characters!
I do realize that Thursday is Thanksgiving here in the States, but hopefully each of you can post something by today or tomorrow to help me get things moving along.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be gone most of the day helping a friend of mine continue to build a deck and of course Thursday is Thanksgiving.
I would like to have the results posted by Friday so we can proceed further along the road to Lasch.

Subject: REXTUGENOUS Wielding Wanda
Rextugenous knew that things to the north were much worse than he could imagine ... that something evil beyond telling had been loosed throughout the lands ... but he never imagined that the first menace he and his companions would be facing along the trail ... were the horrific hordes of Kobalds ... especially those brandishing weapons laced with poison ... the most feared of all Kobald tribes to the north ... the worshipers of The Kobald Goddess Of Assassins And The Night ... Benon Septep!
Something of unimaginable power was certainly orchestrating the taint of evil that had claimed the humanity of his former Leather Coats Avengers ... perhaps Unklar himself ... but Rextugenous and his fellow Avengers would have to live long enough ... to face whatever menace was unleashed from the north ... by somehow stemming the tide of these rabid Kobald warriors ... while saving the wagons!
Rextugenous quickly gathered his wits and breathed a quick prayer to Brigit ... as he firmly gripped the wagon with his left hand ... while pulling Wanda from her place of concealment ... then swinging himself around the north side of the wagon ... wielding Wanda with all the vengeance he could muster!
Rextugenous casts a Lightning Bolt spell from his wand as quickly as the bumpy wagon ride allows. Specifically in an effort to cover their retreat as the wagons race forward toward their destination of Lasch. He is counting on his comrades to clear the way for the wagons to get past the attacking Kobald from their various vantage points from the other two wagons and on horseback.

Subject: Spell Reminder
All of your Spells are linked to the worship of your particular deity.
You get one shot per day per spell, so all of the spells that were approved are in your arsenal on a daily basis.
They get renewed each day (usually early morning) when your character communes with his deity!
So when Rextugenous uses his Lightning Bolt spell against the Kobalds and then later in the day another menace attacks (not saying there is by the way) then he would be unable to use the Lightning Bolt spell a second time!
But it would be available the next morning after he communes with his deity Brigit.

Subject: Hey Ziklag
Your Character is a Knight as well as an Illusionist and you have the Mount (Orion) so if it is in character for Cal then you could spur your horse between the wagons and charge (Mount moves 60 feet) under any volley of arrows as the Kobalds will be planning to aim volleys at the wagons and you could get in range to use your Color Spray if you like.
Figuring that the other 3 spells would be cast well before you got in range with your Color Spray tactic.
Just a Thought (so post here what you plan to do)

Your choice of Rock to Sand spell is clever and will help save the day so to speak when combined with the Lightning Bolt spell from Rextugenous and the Entangle spell from our Druid/Ranger.
All I will say at this point is that the Kobalds have no idea that they are attacking a wagon caravan that is guarded by 4 adventurers with Spell abilities!
They think that they can overrun us by their sheer numbers and I will also say that their spies were witness to the massacre of the 12 Riders by the Goblin Raiders!
Fredrico, Lars and the Halflings are too busy urging the horses to outrun the Kobalds to use any of their abilities (weapons or otherwise) which is why the Riders and the 4 Guards were hired in the first place!

The area they are pouring forth from is vast (about 3 American football fields or more which makes that 300 yards or 900 feet across.
You have no way of knowing how many Kobalds are actually under the ground and ready to overrun the wagon caravan.
Rextugenous blurted out that they were way south of where they usually roam, which means he knows about them from the area around the Lake that is upriver from Sherrill.
All I will say is that whatever evil has been awakened and inspired by the worship of Unklar (who was banished to the Void after the Winter Dark Wars) has influenced these particular Kobalds to migrate to the south to do his bidding!

You are on the south side of the wagon train not necessarily at the end but usually riding across from the second wagon and sometimes further up close to the first wagon or back by the third wagon.
They do not see you per se because you are behind probably the second wagon when they attack, but those Red Eyes that no one noticed the night before were Kobald spies.
They have a fair idea of how many are in the party and have attacked because their sheer force of numbers are far more than what are in the wagon caravan.
