The Wide
Oskar spotted one of the unengaged thugs standing in front of the stage, his dagger bloody from killing those revelers too close to the action. He decided justice needed to be dealt and fired his bolt to cripple and interrogate the foe. His shot pierced the calf and brought the man to one knee who now struggled to keep standing.
Oskar was satisfied with his Bolt shot producing what the Hill Dwarf War Cleric of Tyr had fully intended to do: wound an adversary so he could be captured and interrogated to discover the origin and purpose of his nefarious actions!
Abdel Adrian lay dead, a short sword protruding from his side. Standing over him was his attacker who screamed out to the heavens, his heading hanging to the side as if it was broken and his body arched in an almost inhuman way. A horrified hush came over the combatants as the survivor unleashed an unearthly howl of anguish. Bones began to crack, flesh tore and armor squealed and snapped as the victor's body began to warp into a grotesquely muscled mockery of a human being. What emerged from the fading black shroud was no man but a monster. It opened its blood rimmed eyes and stared out locking eyes with everyone who gazed upon it, the horrifying look of madness and bloodlust easily seen. Roaring out once more with a bellow filled with pain and anguish spraying the ones nearest it with bloodied spit, it leapt from the stage and landed near Kairos, killing the dagger thug and the crossbowmen along the way with its dagger like claws.
Oskar focused his attention away from the immediate possibility of interrogating the foe he had just crippled in the calf with his Cross Bow Bolt, towards the unexpected tableau of a Monster transforming before their very eyes!
Taking note of those who were among the brave and the bold with abilities to balance the scales of justice and right the wrong brought upon Abdel Adrian by this Monster, also resulting in a grievous wrong brought upon Baldur's Gate, the Hill Dwarf War Cleric raised his Cross Bow in an effort to help inflict mortal wounds upon the blood-letting monstrosity!
((OOC: Round 3.) Oskar Ungart fires a Cross Bow Bolt against the Monster with the intention of Killing or Maiming!
Round 4.) Oskar Ungart moves forward with his War Hammer drawn to assist the others who oppose the Monster! He approaches as though in battle with a Hill Giant))

Hey Guys
If you read my Post for Fin she took a position to fight with her Bow & Arrows.
She laid Dark Reaver into a position where she could see if her Long Sword glows Blue to detect Undead and she can grab it and fight in Melee when necessary, but for the time being she will use her Range Weapon.
On another note, I will be unavailable to do any Quality Posting until the week of Monday February 23 as I will be attending Seminar Meetings this week beginning Sunday.

Subject: Targeting Were Rats
Finarsil moved ahead cautiously, relying on her Boots of Elvenkind to cause her soft footsteps to go undetected by the Were Rat vermin that were in preparation for an ambush, as indicated by the reconnaissance of Maximus.
The High Elf Bard relied upon her keen eyes of Elven senses to search the darkness ahead, until she found a suitable location to take up an offensive position with her Long Bow.
As quietly as possible, the High Elf Bard positioned her Long Sword Dark Reaver, for both close reach and close view, so she could observe the Blade Glowing Blue to alert her if any Undead were within 60 feet of Dark Reaver.
Then the High Elf Bard unslung her Long Bow, with its +1/+3 capabilities vs Undead, as she began summoning arrows from their hidden location within her Bracers of Ye' Cind, slowly drawing back the string of her bow as an arrow instantly appeared, ready to make its bite into the targeted Were Rat foe!
((OOC: If the wearer of the bracers is using a bow, the arrows automatically appear when the bow is drawn, giving the attacker one extra attack per round with the bow. (40 Regular Arrows and 15 Healing Arrows are in 3 pouches of her Bracers of Ye' Cind)
She is targeting any Were Rats in a strategic location along the embankment in hopes that her arrow will fly straight and true, causing fear and confusion in the ranks of the assembled Were Rats, when her targets are struck by her arrows!
As noted above, she gets one extra attack per round with the bow!
She is waiting for her comrades to choose their positions of attack, not shooting her arrows prematurely, but she will begin firing as soon as possible, when her comrades take their positions!))

11th Sempore (Thirkday), 453 E.R.
Woods near the village of Crandel (west of the Indigo river, near the Sendrian border)
Galardil thoughtfully adjusted the Eye Patch with a Kith-jora Holy Symbol emblazoned upon it, lightly touching the scar above and underneath his right eye from which he could see clearly, then stroked the braid with the Emerald Gem that matched the hue of his eyes.
He quickly assessed his own wounds and those of the others, noting that Danon had chosen to cast Cure Light Wounds upon Ta'Arms.
Adjusting his Khord War Club over his left shoulder, while holding the hilt with his left hand, the Half Syl Cleric of Kith-jora made a quick decision to not expend any of his spells; especially not knowing what may be awaiting the unsuspecting party in the village of Crandel ???
Galardil nodded to the Bladesinger as he spoke aloud for all to hear:
"I have dealt with my fair share of Shamblers in the past, but they do not occur naturally! Some type of Dark Necromacy is responsible for unleashing these monstrositites! No sense stumbling around in the dense woods, especially if a Dark Necromancer has more minions waiting for us in the darkness!"
As he began making his way down the road towards Crandel, he continued his short, but knowledgeable lecture:
"This was my first time facing any Gigglers! They are Ghouls that are free willed and quite Insane! Hence the Giggling! They are cruel, cunning, fast, strong, tough and dangerous! They obviously can cause Paralysis to an unfortunate victim! Anyone with one eye and half sense can look at Ta'Arms and realize the danger! However, it is rumored that victims slain by Ghouls will rise from the dead as Ghouls! Best we head to Crandel to help the helpless, if there be any danger there!"
(((Although Galardil has started walking down the road towards Crandel, he is going slow enough to allow any party member to overtake him and take point. He is busy watching for any other signs of Shamblers or other Dark Creatures that may be lying in wait to attack the party!)))

Tuesday there is a Memorial Service for a minister, so if I attend the service then I will not be Posting in any games!
Might not be Posting until Friday or so!

Galardil: lightly wounded
Ta'Arms: moderately wounded
Jarenion: unscathed
Blair: lightly wounded
Danon: unscathed
I do know that Galardil has a Cure Light Wounds spell, but I am not sure how many spells he is able to cast at the present time.
Only other notes that I have salvaged about Galardil is that he does have a Healing Proficiency.
Will his Healing Proficiency be able to restore anyone to full health, or does he have to use his spells ?????
Not sure how I am going to write this up
