Subject: Night City Dollars ?????
So are the Night City Dollars we are carrying = Cash ???
Do we have the Credit Cards ???
Not so sure how economical it is for all of us to be showing up at the School in the Upper City where some of us would be stopped (especially Casino) with the Fire Power that we are carrying ???
Security Issues for all of us going to the school in Upper City, so does anyone else have any suggestions or comments to add here ???

However, I probably need to know how much cash on hand is needed to ride buses or monorails or taxis etc; otherwise, my character will be improvising rides with his shoe leather and guns and a song or two

Vengador finished the Bless Spell and when the Dawnbringer was certain that none of the slain Pilgrims were doomed to rise up with the curse of roaming the land as Giggling Ghouls, he cast a wary eye towards the direction where the UnDead had vanished from sight.
Although he had questions to ask of the Pilgrims, the Dawnbringer awaited an order from the Shield Maiden, Rae; keeping a vigilant watch for anything amiss, until Rae was ready to take further action.
She cleaned her blade if needed before sheathing it, but her shield arm remained ready, "Everyone, stay alert to our surroundings. Particularly the rear - this attack came from behind us, so it might very well be the same direction from which another may happen. Let us hope that it does not, but just in case, Vengador, Hammerfoot, one of you should be be part of the back guard, to help provide cover for the others should it be needed."
Vengador responded to Rae immediately, "I Will Be the Back Guard ... You Have Nothing to Fear!"
Before moving into position, the Dawnbringer addressed the Pilgrim Leader, "What Do You Know of These Creatures?"
((OOC: Vengador waits for a response before continuing))
"Where Exactly Did You Pilgrims Travel From ... And How Many Began the Journey?"
((OOC: Vengador waits for suitable responses and explanations, before asking his final questions))
"What Have You Observed During Your Travels ... What Have You Seen ... What Have You Heard ... Any Other Strange Circumstances or Situations ... Any Unsettling Rumors ... What Has the Blue Lady Revealed to You ... Any Dreams or Premonitions ... Any Further Light on Your Fears?"
((OOC: Vengador will weigh what has been answered, as he takes his position as the Back Guard, but the Dawnbringer will be sure to convey his thanks for whatever response the Pilgrim Leader provides))
Vengador grimly nods to each of his companions, before falling back behind them about 8 or 10 feet, as he softly sings a song of praise to Solanis, keeping alert as he watches to the left and the right for anything amiss, in addition to attuning his eyes and ears to anything that may threaten to emerge from the mists behind, armed with his Mace and his words of prayer and praise to Solanis.
((OOC: As the Party makes its way towards Crandel, the Dawnbringer keeps a steady pace, pausing briefly about every 10 to 15 feet to search the mists behind and towards both sides of the road, alert for anything amiss and ready to engage any enemy with the might of his Mace.
He is also ready to Turn UnDead if any should emerge from the mists behind, or to the left or right of the muddy road))

Vegas let the information sink in as Starlight answered each question in turn.
He had a 'Couple More Questions' to ask the Fixer ... plus his new associates.
"Cowgirl got a name?"
Vegas directed his question to the Fixer, adding, "Any special reason why you chose us for this package delivery? Did you message anyone else ... or are we the only Edgers you got a response from to deliver the package?"
((OOC: After his and any other questions receive a response from the Fixer))
Satisfied that Starlight would offer no further enlightenment to his or anyone else's questions, Vegas turned to address the group.
"My Handle is Vegas. This here's Casino. About time we hit the Street and Make Bank. But first, what say we get acquainted with our specific talents of expertise and figure out a plan of action?"
Turning to Blossom he asks, "You got a special place where you can tap in to locate the information we need for the package delivery?"
Vegas pats the pistol secured in his shoulder holster and tips his fedora to Blossom with a smile and adds, "The rest of us can set up shop where you think is best ... where we can cover you ... to make sure no one disturbs your research ... so to speak."
Turning to the others he adds, "That is ... unless any of you have a better idea ... or plan of action ... for securing the delivery of the package?"

((OOC: I am posting using information that t_catt11 sent me in a PM as Answers for the Knowledge Checks [plus further Clarifications in another PM] that I asked him about in a PM in regards to the UnDead, the Pilgrims and Pepper after he first Posted the Update))
Vengador had been both 'Wrong and Right' earlier when the Dawnbringer had shouted out a spontaneous "UNDEAD" alarm in his four known languages.
He had been 'Wrong' in regards to the first group that he had seen from afar, shuffling along as though they were more dead than alive, but they were found to be Pilgrims on their way to a Shrine of Lysora, motivated by a fear of the coming of an unknown 'They' that the Pilgrim Leader had referred to, along with an ominous warning to not be on the road after dark.
He had been 'Right' that Shamblers were gathering to attack, but entirely 'Wrong' as to the direction that attack was coming from.
Being 'Right' about a Shambler attack offered neither comfort nor consolation to the Dawnbringer.
Now four Pilgrims lay dead from the Zombies and Giggling Ghoul attacks; one Pilgrim was unharmed, plus one Pilgrim and Pepper were paralyzed by the Giggling Ghoul that had led the surprise attack from the rear.
Thankfully, both Vengador and Hammerfoot were able to disperse the majority of their dark foes with their Turn UnDead abilities, granted by their respective deities Solanis and Khorax, after some of the UnDead Attackers were dispatched by the combined efforts of Talca, Rae and Pepper.
All had been inspired to victory by the song of Aedan the Bard.
Irel had also shown courage and valor in the heat of unexpected battle.
The Cleric of Solanis was glad to call each one a Friend ... trusting his own life with the abilities of each of his companions ... even the Thief named Pepper ... who stood frozen with paralysis ... in need of protection ... that her companions would surely provide.
Vengador quickly assessed the damage, calling out to Hammerfoot to not waste any Healing Spells:
"Friend Hammerfoot ... the Paralysis that Grips Pepper is from a Ghoul ... Waste Not Your Healing Spells ... the Origin of the Paralysis is Supernatural ... It will Dissipate in a Short Time , No Known Medical Techniques Will Help ... Nor Any Healing Spells We Currently Possess ... Pepper's Wound is Mild My Friends ... I Will Clean and Bandage the Wound on Her Forearm ... to Prevent Any Infection from Taking Hold of Pepper ... Transmitted from the Filthy Claws of the Giggling Ghoul ... Do Ye the Same for the Paralyzed Pilgrim!"
Vengador withdrew a bar of soap from a pouch, mixing it with water from his water skin, gently cleansing the filth from the wound, to prevent any unknown infection from afflicting Pepper.
He then applied a mixture of herbs to further combat any infection, before gently wrapping her forearm with a bandage, all the while murmuring soothing words to Pepper and a few prayers to Solanis.
After making sure the Paralyzed Pilgrim was properly attended to, the Dawnbringer implored his companions and the surviving Pilgrim to closely heed his words:
"Those Killed By Zombies are Dead ... Zombies Do Not Infect ... Their Dead Victims Do Not Become Zombies ... But Those Killed By Ghouls ... Their Bodies Must Be Blessed ... Lest They Become Ghouls Also!"
Vengador paused to study each face gathered around, making sure they all understood the full importance of his meaning.
"At Least One Pilgrim ... If Not More ... was Killed By the Giggling Ghoul ... So I Must Cast a Bless Spell ... Lest the Pilgrims Become Ghouls!"
Vengador goes on to explain that the Bless Spell will cover a 50 Foot Cube, asking the group to remain well within the boundary for protection.
He does acknowledge that Hammerfoot already knows the Bless Spell, but he asks his Khord Friend to stand watch with Talca, in case more UnDead appear from the enshrouding mists, so that the Cleric of Khorax can dispatch any new UnDead attackers with his Turn UnDead abilities, if necessary.
((OOC: Vengador Prays and Casts a Bless Spell to Prevent Any Dead Pilgrims from Becoming Ghouls ... Plus Creating a 50 Foot Cube of Blessed Protection for the Group))

There were some Knowledge Checks made by t_catt11 to some Questions that I had presented to him in a PM not long after he Posted the UpDate.
I needed a couple of clarifications on the Knowledge Checks which he has answered with another PM, so all the Knowledge Check info is being woven together in my Post.

Topic: Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice
Subject: Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice
Okay InnMates
Last night I went to a late night showing of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'.
My intent here is to Not Provide Spoilers for those of you have Not seen the movie.
There has been a lot of negative reviews, so a large portion of the viewing public is riding the fence on whether to go see this movie or just ignore it.
First, you need to make sure that your bladder is drained because after all the Previews, the actual movie runs 2 hours and 31 minutes.
My friend and I attended the 11pm showing and walked out of the viewing theatre into the hallway at 1:49am.
If you are expecting an Avengers type movie, then you should wait until May 6 for the opening of Captain America: Civil War.
Public Service Spoiler If you decide to watch all the credits (I enjoy watching them while other movie patrons crowd their way to the exits) and are expecting to see a 'Preview Clip' like most Marvel Super Hero Movies, then you are wasting your time, because there is No Preview Clip at the end of the Credits.
Again, this movie is not a Marvel Super Hero type movie.
It is a bit similar to the 'feel' of the current Daredevil Season 2 on Netflix (I have watched 3 episodes) but again, it is a DC Movie and Not a Marvel Movie.
However, if you enjoyed the Frank Miller type Batman comics, then you should enjoy this movie.
It may get a little tedious, but it is well worth watching this movie, because the Script from start to finish sets the stage for the future Justice League and Wonder Woman movies.
Ben Affleck is both a grittier Bruce Wayne & Batman.
The first Super Hero Comic that I ever read was 'The Brave & Bold featuring the Justice League vs Amazo'.
Marvel Comics were consistently better reads for me when I was in High School.
I prefer the Marvel Super Hero Movies, but I would probably watch 'Dawn of Justice' again sometime.
Also, for the record, last night while in the theater lobby, I told my friend that I was looking forward to seeing the DC Comics 'Suicide Squad' movie more than I was looking forward to watching 'Dawn of Justice'.
After seeing 'Dawn of Justice' the 'Suicide Squad' movie is now a 'Must See' as my Expectations are Much Higher!
Last night was Not a Waste of My Time Nor My Money!

Vegas let his low crooning trail off, as he continued studying the alluring form of the young Asian beauty, already in the room, before he and his partner Casino had arrived at the scheduled meet.
He took notice of her ample assets: including her weapons and NuCybe Bracer on her left hand, then stared a few moments at her beautiful eyes, hidden behind her bright pink, heart-shaped mirror shades, noting the small boom-a-rang shaped metal moon next to her left eye, indicating additional visual NuCybe alterations.
Vegas slowly lowered his eyes until they fixated once more on her invitingly toned bare midriff, before once again retracing his casual gaze upward, briefly staring at her mirror shades, before allowing a slight smile to express his approval, then nodding to the Asian beauty as he politely tipped his fedora.
Then he closed his eyes in deep thought, smirking slightly as he continued humming the melody of the Frank Sinatra hit song, 'Strangers In The Night', amusing himself by remembering how Casino had marked his territory from afar, before the two partners made their way through the assembled Samurai Boosters, until they were finally escorted into this very room.
When the other two Edgerunners joined the threesome, Vegas made mental notes of their appearances and weapons, satisfied that the five would be able to work together, depending upon the contract.
Starlight finally entered the room and addressed the group of five from the head of the table, laying out the rules, before transmitting the info to their Agents; that is, all except for Casino, who had once again sold his Agent to cover some recently incurred gambling debts.
Vegas just grinned at his partner as they both studied the info on Vegas' Agent, while evaluating the responses of the other three Edgerunners, to the mystery of the vanished boy and their assignment to locate the boy, deliver him unharmed and quite possibly scrag those responsible for his disappearance.
He listened to the questions posed by the red headed man cradling his Nomad Rifle, studying intently the response from Starlight to his questions.
Vegas silently applauded the questions posed by his partner Casino, as he had the same questions and a few more for the Fixer.
He evaluated the response and accompanying body language, as the Fixer answered Casino's questions, before asking his own burning questions that were gnawing at his street-wise mind:
"Are there any possible Leads worth sharing about the boy's disappearance?
"Does Saint Nick's Team know about us ... and if so ... how do we contact them?
"Are there any Suspicious Rivals worth noting that may be involved with the boy's disappearance?"
Vegas listened intently to each of Starlight's responses, evaluating the Fixer's body language and any tell-tale facial expressions that might shed more light upon this mystery.
He had already decided to take the job when he had contacted Casino to meet him here, but his demeanor was intended to display no sense of urgency to agree to accept the hire.
((OOC: Vegas will continue to intently listen to any other questions and evaluate the responses of not only the Fixer's words, but her body language and facial expressions when answering or explaining further. He also is evaluating the other three Edgerunners, by both their questions and their reactions to the answers given by the Fixer, because his life will depend upon how effective or ineffective they may prove to be out on the streets of Night City.
He has other questions and comments that are meant only for the eyes and ears of his partner Casino, when and where they are able to discuss the matter further in private.))
