Topic: Destiny Flight - QnA Subject: You go girl........
I didn't think about it too deeply, but I did figure Grace would wave her magic wand and we'd out of the dark at least.
I was checking the character sheets for items but did not remember Celeste's list. I'll pop there an copy it to my library so I don't miss stuff again. Those snap light would have been something I figure Tess and Jon would look for to help get their crew out of the dark.
I would think it reasonable to have one in each crew quarters, several in engineering, several on the bridge and a couple in the sick bay. Maybe one or two in the cargo bay but that is not a high priority area. Keeping systems going and life support going would be priority areas.
So are we saying the five minutes are past and emergancy systems are active or are we still going on faith and spreding out to guard the ship?
Now at this time I would not have thought of Reavers, it does not seem to be far enough out in the black. Marauders with high tech weapons just fit better to Jon thoughts of folks that now want their cargo. Robbers not Reavers.

Topic: Destiny Flight - QnA Subject: Welcome Back.............
Yeah, we are back in the black.........
Nice to see everyone returning.
Al is it out of line to figure that our emergency supplies would have chemical lights? Jon and Tess might try finding a servival kit on the bridge or in the passage and pulling the chem lights.
To me it sounds just like something Grace would be all over. Her backup of a backup of backup type of mind would have this sort of thing Squirreled away in the engine room and other areas she covers.
Also it's the kind of thing that Ken might stash away too, he seems a "Black ops" kind of guy.

Wow, I guess I'm really outside the fan base.

But didn't Chekov shout "Da plane, da plane."
But I do know I like the webcomix.

Topic: Weird War II Subject: Keep Moving...............
Max was tended and tried to clue him in on what was really happening in the castle and what the new mission was all about.
Doc repacked his med kit. The ache in his shoulder and the pain of the stitches were reminders of what had been. John pulled a few aspirins and slid the silver flask from his hip pocket. Tossing in the pills and washing them down with the brandy would take the edge off the pain without fuzzing up his mind.
As Romo finished up with Max, Greta spoke up, "We should not linger." With that the group picked up and Brutal took point again. Cautiously the group moved through the hall and into a large room.
The smell of coffee caught Doc as he followed in behind the others. The room had been converted to a barracks and the occupants had left in a hurry. There was stairway at the back of the room that led both up and down. They had earlier discussed needing to go to library on the upper level to find the items that needed destroyed. They also said they needed to find the way out of castle in the lower level. So Doc made his way over to food as the Captain and the sergeants decide what to do next. No sense in letting good food and hot coffee go to waste.

Welcome StoryTeller, so glad you enjoyed the "Good old Froth-n-Slosh."
It's our special friend making potion. It has a magical effect, it nullifies any antistaffer magic.
So that's why we always have extra towels in the Lounge.
Eol will be visiting and there is no getting around the "Official" Innmate greeting.
Glad you found your way to the Inn, hope you enjoy your stay.
We all met a brand new "feller".
Who enjoyed our best brew from the cellar.
What he didn't know,
Was that it's specially required saving throw,
Now Eol can Facelick StoryTeller!

Got to have snacks........ can't play without cheese puffs, chips, veggie plate and so on. Our DM does have some great mood music but I don't know what it is or where he got it. The DM and his kids do healthy stuff, but I'm a junk food junkie. Six pack of lemoned tea for caffin.
I have been known to bring silly stuff too. I've got a small barrel on a key chain that has an eyeball peering out. Press a button and it says "(knock, knock, knock...Excuse me... excuse me..excuse me......Can you let me out of here!"
Oh yes I also have a container of sea salt to drop my dice into to remove any bad mojo. (we all have our ways to change our luck)

Topic: Hello Intro Myself Subject: We Don't Know Jack....Yet!
Welcome..........
Yes a really good place to start here is “Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.” That help you figure out how to navigate the halls of the in.
To meet folks in real time pop into the DragonChat where I act as current resident bar tender. We offer our very own "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh", the stale pale ale with the foam on the bottom.
Just grab a mug off the mantel and draw a cold frosty one.
My assistant Igor is usually lurking around if I'm not there.
He never says anything, must have something to with having his tongue cut out by his last boss, that nasty bar tender over at the Orc Bar & Grill.
I'll have him put out a plate of "Lady Fingers" in your honor.
Reminds me we need to have another "Ladies Night" and restock.
Anyway the Posting Games are great place to get to know folks and of course the DragonChat is our favorite lounge.
So lurk or play, welcome to the Inn!!
This has been unpaid, non political posting!!!

I'd say labeling it "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh" would be niffy, but you better know I sort of barrowed the name.
Olde Frothingslosh returns
Pittsburgh Brewing celebrates 50th anniversary of 'pale, stale ale'
Jan 7, 2005 - Pittsburgh Brewing Co. plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Olde Frothingslosh - the "pale, stale ale with foam on the bottom - with a limited edition can commemorating the beer that began as a joke.
In 1954, Pittsburgh disc jockey Rege Cordic created a series of zany commercials for the fictitious beer, Old Frothingslosh, The Pale Ale for the Pale State Male. Pittsburgh Brewing Co. celebrated the gag by putting Old Frothingslosh labels on 500 cases of Iron city Beer bottles for friends of the company for Christmas.
The next year Old Frothingslosh had new labels for Christmas and was sold to the public for the first time. The Christmas issue became a popular tradition and over time distribution ranged well beyond Pittsburgh. The beer was advertised as "so light, the foam's on the bottom" and as "brewed from hippity-hops on the banks for the Upper Crudney in Lower Slobbovia." It debuted in cans in 1968 with the introduction of Fatima Yechburg, a 300-pound go-go dancer who became Miss Frothingslosh, and was sold for decades.
The commemorative gold can features the original "founder, Sir Reginald P. Frothingslosh," with his bow tie, pencil mustache, eye monocle and high-hat, and a circa 1960s picture of Cordic, who died in 1999.
Of course it could be "DragonChat Ale" or "Bitterleaf".
