We Dudley and Gamard could do the Combine and Turn Undead act again.
It worked on the mice.

I'd hope the others are better armed now to finish them off.

What'cha think?

Dudley went over items gathered from the creature and carefully selected items. The coin purse he slipped into his pack, his Goddess had provide good fortune for good fortune. He added the three potions to the bottles already collect and the meat would handy for a meal later. Looking closer at the meat the Cleric realized this was most likely not animal protein. Folding the packet back up he laid it beside the creature.

Eyeing the belt sheath and dagger from the bugbear leader he decided it would come in handy to cut the portions of food for the party and grabbed it up with the belt. Wrapping the belt about his waist he found the first task for the dragger was to size the belt.

(OOC:If one of the packs is better for carrying the supplies he will switch it out.)

Subject: The Stuff..........

Here's the Stuff:

plain dagger in a sheath,

2 long knives in sheaths

three more daggers.

two swords, two shields,

crossbow is a piece of work with two bolts quarrels are carved with runes and the heads are a green stained metal with a crystal sphere, similar to the one on the pendant except here they are filled with a silver liquid like mercury.

banded armour is very nice but made for someone of a large girth and height and would not suit anyone among the party.

banded armour (still a bit big for anyone here)

a pouch of dried meat strips,

a purse with 30 Cullars (Sendria Silver piece)

10 Bulrin (S. Gold piece),

50 Cullars,

a small blue potion similar to the one his comrade was about to drink before Wembley scored the bulls-eye.

two more potions

necklace is gold, with a triangle pendant that has a crystal sphere. Within the crystal sphere is a murky cloud that swirls about on its own. His flail lies on the ground far from the body.

three backpacks (large but useable).

Dudley will gather the meat strips, potions to put with the food and the money for tribute for our good Fortune. He'll claim the belt dagger from the leader to use as a knife.

We should take the packs for stuff we will find. Those that don't have a pack should claim one.

Subject: Calm Before The Storm...........

Destiny Bridge, Day Two of Journey. 9:15 am ST

Jon took a seat in the copilot’s chair. Sipping the hot black liquid from the thermal insulated mug; the captain scanned the controls and checked the statues of the flight. Tess had put in the course and set the flight on automatic. She’d done as Jon had asked and they were traveling just short of a hard burn.

The course was still along normal travel routes, but to allow for their increased speed they skirted the outer edge where there would be less traffic. This was their usual mode of travel but it had its risks. Not unlike the sheep straying from the herd it put them as a simpler target for those of a more predatory nature. Worry infused Jon’s thoughts as this was the first time since the wine run they were carrying a cargo that someone seemed interested in taking away from them. In that case they didn’t have to worry about the possibility of an inside job and it still had been a disaster. The children’s story of sheep in wolves clothing, or was that the other way around, kept him wondering what would happen next.

Jon thought too about Angela, he still wasn’t comfortable giving her orders. She had proven herself an able member of the crew but if he said something wrong it became a firm order of action. The old “what you heard wasn’t what I thought I said” could add ciaos, but so far things had worked out. Thank goodness Tess and Grace seemed to grasp it.

Then there was Catie. Steph had brought her aboard to help knowing that there were many skills within her that could aid the crew. Her negotiations had got them some good eats and she was seeing through some of haze of this story around the princess. Perhaps the medical and research stuff could help Steph free Angela from some of the need to relearn every day. Even just a bit would help Angela feel more confident.

Jon had always been one to look for options, but he knew fate took its own course and it usually liked to find the one he didn’t think about. Well if things went smoothly all the time what fun would there be in that?

Jon sat back and took in the calm, he could feel it wouldn’t last long.

So now this is turning into a real game. I'd say we start checking the portal frames to see if they have any kind of markings. There may be a code to them that clues users as to where they are going.

With a bit of pulling and lifting Dudley was able to get Gam out of the water. It was lucky to have Wembley aiding. It was also lucky they were dealing with a Khord, once started there wasn’t that much to pull out of the water.

Grem soon was on his feet healing himself. Dudley was glad to see that as he was low on spells and need time to pray to again have Shinara’s full blessings.

As others attend to the remaining attacker Dudley busied himself preparing to rest. The other were better at handling that sort of thing and besides it didn’t sound as if it would be that pleasant. Taking the pack he removed food and drink for the party so they might revive themselves. When he looked back to the where Gamard and others had been questioning the bugbear the creature was stretched out and must have died. Dudley waved the others over to share in the meal and then found a place rest and say his devotions.

Dudley awoke from a sound rest and didn’t even remember falling asleep. Saying another pray to Shinara to thank her for the good fortune to find such a peaceful place to rest; at least after those hairy creatures had been dealt with. Dudley packed up the supplies and again readied himself to follow this band on the search of other good fortunes.

I got that.

I want more views of the ship. Beside being helpful, it's cool art.

BTW, you must have found that art work of Destiny, where did it originate? Would love to see other views of it.

I don't think a shuttle exists for it, but that would be cool too. I am guessing that the interior views were modified for the room layouts we are currently using. It would be fun to go look at the original concepts.

The POV of the other shot was good but the shuttle access doors are up on the left and right at the top of the stairs. You can almost see the one on the left.

That other POV I'd guess is from the cargo bay ramp area.

So as I said, do you have more?

Wow that is neat. Where did you find the POV view? Is there a virtual walk though of a Firefly available?

Trying to find shows to view to try and catch a glimpse of ship area is tough.

Also, now that the Mercs seem to be headed to the caves and intend to blow up the Roc wouldn't they call back their men before they blast the ship? So any invaders should be retreating to safer ground.

Subject: Rump Over Tea Kettle.............

The shuttle went into and end over end flip. Asher mooring to the shuttle snapped and he was thrown clear of the shuttle as it tumble and crashed it way across the plain and to a crumbled stop. Asher was still up and walking, he was not really that hurt and still had his guns but what about Ma?

Growing up on range had taught the kid how to take a fall from a moving object. First it was when he’d try to ride the calves while they were still small and frisky, then he moved on to the horse they had to break to ranch work.

Being tossed rump over tea kettle was just part of the daily routine. So when the strap broke and the kid found himself flung through the air he was able to quickly tell which way the ground was coming at him.

The tried and true tuck and roll came as a natural reflex and Asher was nearly able to flip back to his feet. Steadying himself he saw the shuttle continue on it’s violent tumble. “Ma!”, he shouted and kicked into a dead run for the shuttle. He couldn’t know if the systems on the shuttle would still be working but hit his comm anyway. “Ma….. I’m com’in….hold on!!!!” With that the kid closed on the little ship, heading to the nearest open port; he hoped the smoke was just from canister he’d planted.

Subject: Tess, Nancy and theTransmitter Codes...............

For the transmitter to activate the devices in the Mercs is it a special tramitter or will any do if it is tuned to the ferquency? Does Nancy have the Freq aand codes?

My thought is even if John figured it out could Tess and the marshall just get to other shuttle and transmit from that comm unit?

If it needs the transmitter that John has made can the codes be told to him over the comm?

I was thinking of writing up Tess and Nancy heading for Trish and Asher's downed shuttle to transmit to John. The other thought was Tess using her personal comm to have Nancy tell John.

I need to know which they are closer to, the Roc or the shttle.

If they can't tranmit the codes by comm they have to get back to the Roc and fight their way in to John.
