Hmmmmm...... very telling.

Must live by the saying:

"Winning isn't everything, but losing isn't anything!"

If I lose by one because I pick the Browns, then so be it!
"Woof, woof, woof, woof, go DAWGs"

I'm also an Indians fan, "Roll Tribe!"

Lesser of two evils, lol.

If Dallas had won Sunday I'd have picked them. (But they do have better looking cheerleaders, )

Topic: Great to be Here
Subject: Hello......... Time to add the Ody welcome.

A really good place to start here is “Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.”

That will help you figure out how to navigate the halls of the Inn. The Recruitment Threads in the general forum is the best place to look for games.

To meet folks in real time pop into the DragonChat where I act as the current resident bar tender. We offer our very own "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh", the stale pale ale with the foam on the bottom. Just grab a mug off the mantel and draw a cold frosty one.

My assistant Igor is usually lurking around if I'm not there.

He never says anything, must have something to with having his tongue cut out by his last boss, that nasty bar tender over at the Orc Bar & Grill.
I'll have him put out a plate of "Lady Fingers" in your honor.

Reminds me we need to have another "Ladies Night" and restock.

Anyway the Posting Games are great place to get to know folks and of course the DragonChat is our favorite lounge.

So lurk or play, welcome to the Inn

Topic: Have You Played 13th Age RPG?
Subject: Only Twice...

I've only played twice so far and just downloaded the PH Saturday so I'm still getting used to the play. I like RP and the combat is simpler to remember. The escalation die gives you a little bit more to your attacks each round so you actually get better the longer you fight. Of course I picked one of hardest classes and took a Gnome Bard. But what better way than to push yourself.

As for DM / Player relations we play if you can justify how your skill applies you get to add the bonus. Creative RP and character development adds to this making a good justification. I put 5 points into "Wandering" because he is a Wandering Bard. With that comes the ideas of "surviving"as you travel, gains knowledge from dealing with people and so on. It can be a hoot as you delve into your character.

We are also going to try to do "Roll20" game site to play live online. Not sure how well it work but that could make it easier for folks to play from home.

Subject: The Bombs Are Where?

Maybe a slightly higher view map of the area could help.
I had Ash take the pictures in an area in opposite direction from the cave in a rocky area (made that up). The idea was to lure the Mercs away.

As for the size I figure the bombs he laid in the rocks are antipersonnel. He used flash bangs as detonators, but he should have got out the frags for Wyatt, Wolf and himself. This is the rainy day they were saved for.

Time to go big so we can go home.

Subject: Dresden Files....

If you are looking for a change look into the Dresden Files" RPG. It uses the "Fate" rule set. Still RP but more modern and an interesting rule set. Takes a bit to get use to but it still can be fun. I run a werewolf, Native American, who's day job is a social worker.
Our city is Las Vegas.

We have also done some Zietgiest which to me seemed more like D&D Streampunk. Close to 4th edition rules.
