Subject: Ash Rides Again.......

I've been pulling stuff together from past story and Asher's profile for a post so I hope to have one done tonight. I actually found a PDF of the weapons used in Firefly and copied them in to my profile page for Asher, helps me visualize his toys and how he might handle them. Also found a picture of the shuttle but was hoping to find an interior view. These are helping me stage Asher so I can move him forward.

I've found that Blamm's concept fits how I see Ash. Stuff I thought to write I found that he had already touched on, kind of spooky to me but it should help keep Asher's character in line with history. This time away from the crew, although short, may affect him. Home sick upon home sick. New longing to for Ezra, stronger ties to the Roc's old crew and Trish. And how will he react to someone else in his room. Pushed one more peg down the pecking order? Or maybe even two? After all he's just a "Kid"!

Well it's still mostly bouncing around in my head and I need to get on paper. Between this and C. Rautenburg I've got a challenge.

So just wanted ya'll to know I'm not ignoring the chance to join the game, just a touch behind.

Subject: As Doc See's it........

It's getting hard to post with nothing to build on other than Al's story guide. I'm going to make some assumptions so I can start a next post.

1. Doc and Corbin drug the body and put it while Brutal waits behind the wheel. The dead Major is in middle of the back seat with Doc crammed in next to him to appear as tending care. This makes it harder to see the Major's condition from outside.

2. The Capt and Corbin also get in the back. One of them is holding a pistol on Doc for show. Their bodies help block seeing Doc clearly, the Red Cross pouch is in clear view.

3. The Sargent in riding shotgun by the door with our lovely lady in the middle, a rose between two thorns, also a good distraction. Sarg has the Major's papers.

I'm planning a back post from Doc's POV getting here. It would be good to also know what was in the briefcase, but Doc can't read German. It seemed like a long enough ride for Sarg and lady-fair to go through them before we got to the "Check Point".

I hope to have a post later tonight, I'll keep checking to see if anyone else posts.

Well you are one busy bugger. Thanks for all the info and welcome to the Inn. If and when you get a chance, stop back and relax with the rest of the Innmates.

And there's a large frosty mug of "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh" waiting for you at the DragonChat Lounge in the DragonChat chat room.

Hope to see around!

I don't know if there is a problem, but it's been so long I'm just guessing it's "Game Over". I've had one DM quit a game because of RL and then Jozan1 just let one die. So I'm just going to move forward with other games. Too bad, I passed up a couple other game chances to stay in this one.

If you can't find something that already exists try writing your own and then run it past your DM and see if they will allow it. He may make it so you need to justify gaining something new by doing a special quest or visit an old wise guy, lol.

Ooops, welcome to the Inn. Stop by the DragonChat Lounge for a big frosty mug of "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh".

Pop over to "Comings and Goings" and give yourself an intro.

BTW, free fluffy towels at the end of the bar. You'll find a use for it later, lol.

As Brutal drove up Jack swore he saw him smirk as Doc's guns hit the dirt.

That cruel look in the Corporal's eye sent it's message loud and clear. "Doc's defenseless"!

Doc narrowed his eyes and smirked back.

"Sorry baldy, but you just lost your chance."

With that Doc slipped off his jacket and put his sweet 45's back on crisscrossed his chest.
Adjusting the belt length so they hung neatly along his ribcage.

Opening his pack he took the German pistols he had taken from the farm house, nesting one under his shirt in his waste band in the small of his back.

Taking his combat knife he made slit in the lining of his jacket just below the neck, he was able to slip the pistol in the hole, when he put the jacket back on it sat there at the ready.

Now if he had to place his hands behind his head he'd stand a chance to get the drop on his captors.

Doc took the arm band back off and put it back in his pocket.
He lifted the medic kit and stung it over his should so the Red Cross was easily visible.

"Let'um jump to their own conclusions."

Doc gathered his gear and headed out the door. He stopped next to the corpse of German officer.

Kneeling down and lifting the body he let the still wet blood stain his hands and sleeves.
Doc opened the medical pack, pulled out some bandages and dressed the wound.
If they were going to use him as part of the rouse to gain entry to the castle it had to look the part.

Then reluctantly Jack unfastened his 45’s and laid them on the ground, hopefully he’d put them in the car’s trunk with his pack.

“This had better work or it could really ruin my day.”

Jack watched as Brutal brought the car around to the front of the cabin.

Did anyone happen to check if this is a staff car or a sports car? It might be tough getting six people and a dead body in a two seat roadster. The guys in the leather may have to stand on the running boards and hang on.

Went back and looked up the car.

On Stewart's watch, he sees a black car pass heading south. It is a fancy car, convertible four seater with a long front.

Still going to be a tight fit.

Luthor, Ayrn and Gandolf, have you folks quit the game?

It seems that Hammer, Brianna and Nomad are the only ones to have posted since before Christmas.

If you don't want to play please let Hammer know so he can decide to reopen recruitment or close the game.

Hammer, has the game taken a dive?

Would you want Nomad2 and me to play the others in this battle so we can keep things moving?

If this game is dead, please let me know. I turned down another game so I wouldn't get too stretched, but if this story is done I'd like to see if they might still need me.

Don't get me wrong, I like your game and I'll if we can breath some life back in it.

Subject: Plan

Well I guess there is another option if we aren't going use the dead guy to get in the castle.

If we are stopping to do a bit of recon outside first Doc could use the dead guys uniform, he just needs to use the cold water from the bucket to rinse the blood from the collar and find a fresh shirt. Then we would have three in uniformed and two in plain cloths with Gestapo style leather coats.

Captain could say to something like "Thanks Doc, but we can't risk you that way. Rinse as much blood out that guys coat and suit up in his gear."

Also we need to open the brief case and have Sarge read the documents, that could have our real key to the Castle, reason to be there.

No need to sing, "Bluff, bluff, the stupid Nazis."

Sorry Brutal, you missed your chance.

Then I get to keep my guns!
