Ahhh... if we left SB118 at 13:00 on 2365.02.08 then Berk and Moore couldn't board at 19:00 and 20:00. Shouldn't that go to 2365.02.07?

Eol, I was checking the log for ideas and time frames and I noticed that Lt. Moore and Lt. Berk's report for duty is on the wrong day. They show as the last two entries at 19:00 and 20:00 for 08, or am I reading it wrong?

Topic: Titansgrave Adventures Subject: And Away We Go............
Gwan had realized early that Lum was loyal. When the Orc had returned from a prospecting trip with the materials and weapons but two of the scouts were missing all he said was, "They won't need them." Gwan didn't question him further.
This team had been together now for about year and had had some successes. Lum had quietly lead the group through the Rustwastes and slowly a bond seem to be developing. There had been tensions early on as the team found it more then odd to follow an Orc. Lum let the Elves work out their issues, he just did his job. It was the girl that bothered him. Her independence had reminded him of Otto. Although Mairead had proven her skills in defending and healing the team he still had to keep an eye on her, just for her own good.
Gwan had had another lead and sent the team back into the Rustwaste. This area had had buildings that were of better structure. Lum could see by the lines that these were different. Staying ahead of team allowed the Orc not only check the structures but also watch for other dangers.
Approaching a good looking prospect Lum feels the ground start to tremble but before he can react it gives way under his feet. He prepares for a fall but he only drops a few feet. As the dust clears The Orc sees the entrance to underground caverns. A steel stairwell leads down into the darkness. Pulling out a Claim Tracker Lum places it at the entrance.
"This looks good, let's go now." The Orc waves the others on and heads down the stairs.

I could do better if I had an editor. I tend to leave out words as I think faster than I type.
I am the (near) perfect storm.. trifocals, dyslexic, can't type and slow reader.

Topic: Star Trek: the Edge of Duty Q&A Subject: Med Sched...
I found it on Q&A page 50. Eol has it in his post about mid page. It is in text. I had copied and pasted the Olan's chart and added lines for the Med team just my use. If you like that one I can email it to you.
--------------------------------
duh: May as well copy it here.
Here's the MED schedule:
Sunday alpha: Po. Cook
Sunday beta: Cr. Patel
Monday alpha: Po. Adama
Monday beta: Cr. Patel
Tuesday alpha: Po. Cook
Tuesday beta: Po. Miraan
Wednesday alpha: Po. Adama
Wednesday beta: Cr. Reynolds
Thursday alpha: Po. Adama
Thursday beta: Cr. Reynolds
Friday alpha: Po. Miraan
Friday beta: Cr. Reynolds
Saturday Alpha: Po. Miraan
Saturday beta: Cr. Patel
Note: MED technically only has two 12 hour shifts as opposed to the three 8 hour shifts enjoyed by most other departments. This is due in large part to the limited personnel assigned to Medical and/or the need to have someone posted in sickbay 24/7. Poor Dr Moore and Chief Cook are on 24 hr call all the time, I'm afraid. But they're awesome like that!!!

Topic: Star Trek: the Edge of Duty Subject: A Very Long Day........
Stardate 2365.02.08
USS Peregrine - Deck 4 - 1615
"Appears to have been an equipment malfunction in sickbay. I'm having Ensign Williams follow up and Engineering to address the equipment. The odd thing is it was the table the Chief Thorson had been on,Ensign Williams will fill the report,.Reid out."
John stepped to the Turbo, "Deck two." Finally John hoped to get some rest before his shift on the bridge.
Walking down the passage Reid regretted having so little information to give Lt. Berk. When security answered the call there wasn't much they could do. "I wish Cookie hadn't over reacted to Bachmann's rant." John thought to himself. John respected the CPO but had found her to be a bit heavy handed. "With her experience and time in Starfleet you'd think she'd been more aware to a security call during a yellow alert with the Ambassadors on board. But they weren't in her sick bay so they weren't her concern.
Reid ambled from the turbo to his quarters. He still had a chance to get some solid rest.
Checking the com for current notices he saw, "An Ambassadorial reception at the Captain's Mess at 1900 hours. Department heads are cordially invited to attend."
"Great..right in the middle of Berk's shift." Checking the duty roster John sighed. "It's me or the new guy."
Tapping the comm, "Reid to Lt. Berk."
(assuming a "Berk here.")
"The Captian's reception is at 1900, your relief will be there at 1830. That should give you enough time to prepare. It's important you attend as the Ambassadors respect strength, not having the senior Tactical Officer there may be taken as in insult. "
(assuming something like a "Thank you,")
Setting his alarm, "Well so let's try a power nap."
Stardate 2365.02.08
USS Peregrine - Bridge - 1830
The turbo opened and John stepped out on to the bridge. Walking the Tactical console, "I'm here to relieve you Sir."
(assuming something like, "But aren't you in the Command chair next shift?"
"Yes sir, it was me or the new Ensign and as you said I'll need to be here gamma anyway,.if I need help Sir I'll call for it."

Topic: Looking for players. Subject: Lum...........
It had taken a while but the team had slowly discovered some of the story of big Orc. Most of it came from Dwan.
Lum was born in the usual ways and ended up in an orphanage within Nestora City. No one seemed to know who his family were or seemed afraid to mention it if they did know. He grew up there never being adopted, always turned away; who wants an orc? But he had a friend named Otto who was a dwarf (also always picked over).
Otto was the one who started teaching Lum how to read, and then the principles of engineering. As Otto taught Lum about building structures he would say he had Uncle that had an Inn. He'd describe it and say it was called the Pegasus. When Lum asked him if he had an Uncle why was he in the orphanage? Otto just shrugged and said Pappa wasn't family anymore.
Once they reached 16 years of age, they were tossed out of the orphanage and given jobs as laborers for the Guilds. Well, Otto was a laborer, but Lum tried to be an Engineer. The guildsmen laughed that an Orc could be an Engineer and he was quickly moved to being a guard or a security thug. They just put a weapon in his hands and told him who to hurt.
It was about five years later that Lum and Otto were on a reconstruction site for a bridge near Fort Umber that things went bad for Lum. A group of men lead by a golem came and started ordering them around, telling them they had no claim to the land and to back off immediately. Otto became quite heated in his exchange with the golem and Lum tried to intercede. The golem back handed Otto with his powerful robotic arm and the blow threw Otto back against a rock, killing him instantly. Lum flew into a rage, tearing into the Golem and attacking the men. When it was all done, Lum had lost his only friend and was a wanted fugitive. There was something about the finger of the golem he destroyed that struck him, a finger that was built to look like it had a ring. A signet ring with a crudely drawn fish symbol (an alpha symbol actually). Lum took it as a reminder of that day and his friend, but also because he couldn't shake the feeling it was important.
Lum then escaped to the east and came upon the Pegasus Inn. He collapsed at the back door. When a figured appeared a dazed Lum held out his hand and mumbled "Otto?". Dwan took him in and asked no questions. Lum plays the dumb orc card to keep people away but his true friends on his team know he is a valuable asset on a mission.
(Thanks to Alacrity for most of this, he took a bunch of my ideas, added a bunch of his. I been having issues stinging words together.)

Ever though Crane went to a higher level of Security she could still be brought up on charges by Drake.

Have you put up a Q&A yet? Works been tough this week and had to go out of town again Friday, so I may have missed it.
Thank goodness for weekends, although the "Honey Does" try to fill the gap.
--------------------------------------
So with Q&A yet here is some Q.
As Reclamation Scouts how do we recognize other groups that work for Dwan like the Lost Boys? I would guess we don't claim jump Dwan's other teams.

Just popped you a PM about how I got there.
Security has to cover weapons bay each shift, watch desk and bridge. The rest was just the security body to rapid deploy on each shift.

Topic: Star Trek: the Edge of Duty Q&A Subject: Geeking Out..........
I was working on the shift rotation for the security section and I've determined that the staff is short by two crewman to be able to fully man each shift.
Besides the bridge there are two required stations of Watch Desk and Weapons Bay.
There is also the need for a regular Security Duty position. I am figuring these are also doing the "Honor Guard" instead of the normal "Duty Ready".
So may I add two NPC's?

It could easily be something akin to a Wood Elve. In this world the Elves were nearly wiped out so a clan retreating to the forests and developing stealth fighting skills. They were too few to make an army but could have hit and run and assassin skills.
