That's almost exactly the way I drew the map locations. Only real difference was I had Crow over closer to the wall by bows and arrows. That's why he dashed to hide behind him. Gotta love those big meat shields.

Dudley heard Ivan's reply just as the column opened and three ghastly creatures emerged. One of the clawed, fanged hairy beast charged toward Dudley with a not very friendly look in its eye.
As the beast approached on him Dudley tapped himself and Grim on the head and cast Invisible to Animals. The Cid then bolted to hid behind Crow.
(O.O.C., If Grim is standing close enough Dudley will tap him also so they both vanish.)

I don't want to seem like a wet blanket but the what killed Dillon and the guards sounds like a implant in their skull, not in the helmet. If it popped it was very likely destroyed as it discharged. It would take surgery to open the skull and see what it was. And each went off separately so each is tuned to its own trigger. So it sounds more like we will be bluffing.
If we had a way that may have recorded the triggering pulses frequency then with the three pulses we might find the range. A device that would send out a continual pulse across a tunable broadcast range could hit the correct triggers as it was dialed up and down.
I could have Asher bring this up.

The party passed though a portal and as they all entered a room full of weapons the cat piped up, “Oh dear!” Says Ivan with a dramatic air of dread. “Not this room! This is where that thing with the claws and the fangs and the hey hey hey came out of that block there. Better arm yourselves fast dudes because we are going have company.”
Dudley noted,"Well lucky for us we can choose from such a grand selection." With that the cleric moved the wall and selected a fine looking Horseman's Mace. Dudley has been about to cast Detect Magic to indentify which Mace might be enchanted but he remember this whole place was most like made by magic and that would have negated benefit of the spell. So he just left it to chance that his Goddess would guide his choice.
While Dudley practiced briefly with his new weapon he called over to Ivan. "Say there Ivan... how did you escape this room the last time you were here with the Hey Hey Hey???"

Subject: Magic?
Would casting of detect magic help to show any weapons with bonus?
Dudley must use blunt weapons but a +4 Horseman's Mace would be a better choice over a plain club. You said the mace wall was full so there would be several to choose.
Also you said to choose quickly so does he have time to select a mace from one side of the room and a sling from the other?

Persephone, Eavesdown Docks, Destiny Exercise Room, 8:00 pm ST
The anger of the day led Jon right to the heavy bag. Having to lace his own gloves only added to the need to beat the hell out of something. Starting a rhythm of jams and punches he began the vision that little varmint Badger making him look foolish in front of his crew. The cocky little thug knew they had to play his game his way, but there was never a need to make himself puffed up. Standing there in that room full of trash that the Huen Dahn thought was treasure only made matters worse. But the bully had the connections and the jobs they needed to get establish. Thing had to go better this time.
The sweat started to glisten off his ruddy skin as he continued to deliver blows to the bag. …Jon pounded harder. Now Stephanie was acting odd, she’d used her trained manner to lay a guilt trip on him. She was acting like a jealous school girl…saying he’d look for younger girls. And what did she mean become more important to you than this ship, but I see now I will always play the other woman. Jon continued to pound harder. .thud thud..thud thud thud. Although it felt good to release his anger on the bag it was not easing the frustration in his mind. Working on the heavy bag was not clearing his mind.

When Jon joined Independents he had to go through training along with every other soldier, but he found that the officers were required to practice the T’ai Chi moves. The 108 moves were drilled the same other lessons. He had seen how some others simply endured the training, but he felt the serenity and calm the fluid disciplined moves brought. Removing the gloves and his shoes Jon slowed his breathing and began to routin.

The one hundred and eight slow moves of the Tai Chi had become nearly a ritual to Jon since the time he had enlisted. They had been told that it had been use all the way back to Earth that was. The slow methodical exercise helped him control the stress and set his thoughts in order. The young captain knew what he needed to do.
Persephone, Eavesdown Docks, Destiny Captans Quarters, 10:00 pm ST
Jon returned to his room, shower and change clothes. The captain rested as he reviewed the flight plan Tess had filed. He needed to fill the time until shopping party returned. Knowing the galley would be empty for a while he made his way down there and prepared himself a light meal. Moving about the cook stove he remember the night Stephanie had come in while he was making a soup for the crew. That was night he realized how he felt about her. It was something that ..just was. Now he knew it would be what it would be, time would tell. Jon knew naming the ship Destiny was correct… and it was proving to be that again.
As he finish cleaning up after his meal he heard Tess and the others returning. They took a little time to store the bulk goods and then entered the galley with remaining items. The last of the supplies were being put away when he addressed the women, “Stick around, we need to hash out a few things before we head into this job.” Walking to the ship’s comm. he flipped open the mic, “Crew to the galley…. Bring any info you got that might need know’n.”
Persephone, Eavesdown Docks, Destiny, Galley, 11:00 pm ST
Jon had been pacing a bit as the crew had gather. When they were all there, “ This job doesn’t as good as it could and we need to go over a few things. “ He wasn’t sure just where to start so he just jumped in, “ Just in case something happens I wanted to be sure you all knew the Tess is in charge if I ain’t around. If’n we both aren’t around then it’s Grace’s boat, you go to her and she’ll figure things out.” Jon feel them looking at him, “I ain’t saying anything will happen… but … well… things don’t always go right and some of you are new and I.. just.. want to be sure you knew.” Jon fidgeted a little and blow out short breath, “Ok, enough of that.” He turned to Angela, “You done real good for us today, I need to thank you for helping me when Badger had me stuck. You got us about the best we could hope for out of that man….I’m glad you’re here. You may surprise me from time to time but you don’t need to worry about upsetting me…I’ll let you know up front and honest if I’m not happy…and for now I’m happy.”
Turning back to the crew, “This job just has a feeling that there is more going on than we are suppose to know. Grace…if they try to bring something on board I want you to figure a way to check it out. We don’t want to be surprised by another wine barrel with a hidden package.”
“Ok, I don’t need to do all the talk’n, Tess, Grace , J.C. what you all find out today?”
Jon opened the meeting for discussion.

I'm going to try and get a post up tonight that will get the meeting started. A bit RP and info in character will get us set to leave. "Twichy" just doesn't do this situation justice.
Are there plans to tell about Catie's shopping by anyone else or should I just have Jon hear about it through the grape vine?

Dudley listened to the cat and what he said seemed most interesting if it is true.
" Well then moving about is just a random act of luck, how wonderful. Wembely old follow you seem to have your wish to explore. It sounds like there may not be a preferred way to travel, by doors, by portals or a mix seems to just put you someplace else and there is no back tracking as you wished check. So to aid our venture I'll dash off a quick prayer:

Subject: Superbowl Idea.
If you have two finalist that both want the same SB team break it down more.
Have each pick the score they think it will be at the end of end of each quarter. The one that get the most correct (give a spread option within 3 points of actual to equal correct) wins. Then with option if you still have tie give it for most actual correct quarter scores.
Then send all the money to me!

Maybe you only need a new hard drive. Could be cheaper than a new laptop. A friend gave my son his Toshiba becase he'd dropped it and it wouldn't boot. I baught a new hard drive and loaded the OS and other stuff (he gave him all the disc's too). It's been fine ever since.
