Another GM call.
What would be the standard scope power of an general issue GRZ 1?

Asher gun skills and fair scope gives him a good chance of clean hit. Beside that lady's skull won't slow the bullet that much.

Yep that'll be the right in front of the ASREV pilot!

Almost missed: x^2 + 3x + 9 from 0 to 10 times 3/20 then - 59 e^(i ð) + 1 = 0

z = x + iy = |z| (\cos \phi + i\sin \phi ) = r e^{i \phi} \ \bar{z} = x - iy = |z| (\cos \phi - i\sin \phi ) = r e^{-i \phi} \

I didn't hear from Roger so my post is pretty weak. After I hear, I'll firm thing up or change direction.

Either way..let the chaos begin!

LV-426, Hunkered down behind the thruster house of Rocinante, 8:15 am PT

Asher watched the goings on down below with gun ready but he was caught flatfooted by the slap across the face to the Amber lady. Now the Marshall had a his head and body protected with a human shield and the other two were ready to open fire on crowd or Miss Willow. He could hear the leader calling out, “OKAY! YOU!” Maestro! Get on my ship now! Everyone else, Stay where you are!!! Anyone goes hero on me or gets me and my men hurt, and I blast that piece of Go Sa to bits and leave you here to die. NOW MOVE!”

His target was now obscured and things were going bad fast. The kid started to judge just how far away that ARSEV sat. He’d been really good at heaving rocks and maybe he could bounce a Smoker off the bridge and distract the Feds. A little chaos might loosen things up enough for Tess to toss in the EMP. Take their sky away and see just how tough these fancy pants Feds are.

We were given gold coins just like we were given the eye patch, there is something going on here. We should divid the coins between us, but carry them seperate from our other coins. Think of needing a coin to cross the River Styx. It may be our "fare". Remeber there is water down there.

Unfortunately I find nothing in Asher's past or sheets to tell me different. Now the GM can clue me into stuff I've missed.

I'm developing a shopping list for the next time we are in port.

We should loot.. I mean check the supplies in the atmo station before we leave.
There may be some goodies in the security section.

Roger, if you can answer my PM questions, I'll get a post up tonight.

You'd think by now the crew would know better than to leave Asher unsupervised.

The JC is just the run of the mill combo shotgun / assault rifle. Built for fire fights and not snipping.

Now Asher's GRZ 1 is sighted as they generally are. A quick check of the weapon info Roger has sent before will show the weapons. I can send you a copy via email Albert if you need it.

Does anyone have a "Stunner" hidden on board?

Ash just got REAL twitchy seeing that lady get slapped and hauled up as a shield. With his favorite folks in trouble the boy may do something rash!!!!

Well Destiny still has a Captain if she ever flies again.
Roc is a great boat, but Destiny was becoming mine. The back story on where she came from is still mystery. A battle boat like none commonly seen.

To keep Tess alive if you plan on removing her character we could have Destiny rescue the party and she flies off with John and Grace. John saves his "Lil Sister".

The movie shot of Destiny arriving would be so cool because she looks so different. The Feds would even wonder what's up.

Gosh I miss that boat.

So Tohmas will search around and find some longish pieces. Wraps rope and bandages securing them and then coating them with the wax to make it burn slow. The rope could stick out the top like a wick.

So now that we know there is room on the steps how about?

Amur-Thief-Half-Elf: +2 with traps & Twilight Vision
Crow-Ranger-Elf: +2 with traps,Crow is armed with two melee weapons and a long bow. Twilight Vision

Willem-Fighter-Human: More melee support
Tohmas-Druid-Human: Torch

Jaufre-Paladin-Human: Can provide melee support and Turn Undead if needed
Bartimeous -Cleric-Human: Torch, Primary healer centralized to help all members of party as needed. Turn Undead to forward or rear.

Areldor-Mage-Half-Elf: Lamp, Rear magical support. Twilight Vision
Vincent-Knight-Human: Rear melee support

Mylos-Bard-Gnome: Darkvision to watch the rear.( no torch light that way)
Elyra-Bard-Elf: Rear guard. Carries two melee weapons, short bow and has magic. Twilight Vision

Put the hero's up front!

+2's for both Crow and Amur. So there we have the front 3 guards, Larry, Curly and Crow.

Subject: Out In Front......

I like Crow up front, he's favorite Meat Shield. And now that we know he has a +2 (missed that) to find traps also, all the more reason.

If we can go 3 across then the rogue, ranger and Gnome can link arms and sing "Off To See The Wizard."

Subject: A Chance....

The rogue does have a +2 to find traps. So him first is ok. The Gnome has higher dex and intel so he should be better at disarming.

But the Elves don't have infravision, they have Twilight Vision:
TWILIGHT VISION: Even under starlight, moonlight or torchlight, elves have exceedingly good vision. They can distinguish color and detail under these conditions for up to one mile but only if they are outside.

So they need some light.

Subject: Nope, The Gnome in front.....

The Gnome has natural abilities underground and would have the best sences of things. His vision would be best and matched to knowing depth and direction underground he would be the best leader. Now Amur would be good next to check for secret doors then Crow to protect.

Elve and half-elve are best in the forest or at night.
It was stated by Hammer that half-elves had inhanced sight in the torch lihgt, so keep them to the egdes of light.

Keep the humans in the light, but don't bunch up the fighters, let the healer carry the torches spacing the fighter so they can see to attack if needed.

Subject: Order Of Travel....

Here's a thought.
Mylos first to use his dark vision (keeping the torches behind him so they don't affect his sight, Crow next to help protect, Tohmas carring a torch to help Crow see, Willem next as fighter at ready, Elyra using light to help see both ways, Areldor with lamp, Vincent at the ready, Bart with next torch and Amur watching the rear.

We don't split the party and move with caution. This keeps our fighter ready and the humans have light to see, the others use the light to enhance sight. the cleric, shaman and illusionist (basic non fighter types) carry the lights.

Sound OK?

May not get aa post up tonight, taking my mother out for her 90th birthday. Went to a wedding last and the general holiday stuff slowed down getting things earlier. So if the above sounds good we can start RP and prepare to go down the steps after they are cleared.

Subject: There is Wood Laying Around...........

There is wood debris laying around we should be able to find shards that could be used as torches.

In the aftermath of their battle against the Skeleton Pirates, the lack of life was more accentuated than ever, as the Seekers examined and tended to the wounds of their comrades; gathered up the weapons of their foes amidst the decaying remains of the stone and wood strewn rubble; before proceeding to investigate the sound of the Happy Water.

So with a little searching there are torches to be found.
-------------------
We also have rope to wrap around the wood to soak in wax to make a torch.

well 2 HP are easily cured. A cure Lt wound spell should do the trick. As for torches, we could search around a bit for wood pieces to wrap cloth around. We should have some oil with the food supplies.

I would guess there would be torches on the wall of the stairsway. You see them in all the movies, lol!!!

Hmmm.... underground river cascading into a cavern? Gold coins on a step!!!! Me thinks it's to start digging. We could use the pirate cutlasses to dig and save our weapons.

Those EMPs are looking a lot better to me. Take away their sky and big guns makes things a lot more even.

It very well could cut comm to Wolf though.

Ideas folks???

Looking about the battle ground the Shaman saw the foes weapons strewn about. "We should gather those weapons and pile them away from their old owners. There may be enchantment still in them. As it is there are too many to carry. There may be other items of value left behind, they were pirates once."

Taking his leave from the young knight Tohmas sought out the ranger Crow. “Friend, while we are strong again we should find from where the sound of is coming. If it is truly water then that is where thing would gather. Lead on and I will follow.
