Subject: Info..........

So just really read the liner's info. Seems that security when we dock needs to be flaunted to be able to get weapons on board.

"Docking: The docking areas can handle up to four yachts, as well as the ship’s lifeboats that double as shuttles. They don’t handle private shuttles due to security. Once docked, an airlock provides safe passage from the docked vessel to the cruise liner. Security personnel are on hand to check for weapons using an electronic weapons sweep.

We may have issues getting out of the docking bay!

I'll try to get a post up tonight. Started one yesterday at work but lost it before I submitted.

If we are retracing our steps to see if the portals take us to the same place isn't our next room the weapon room?

Subject: The Knight..........

Ulthok does not trust the Knight. The knight is most likely Lawful Evil and just seems trustworth because he can appear to follow rules. Killing him in cold blood is not our way but giving him his sword and letting him go should be out of the question. Ulthok will suggest taking his armor too and either take him along, leave him bound and blind folded, perhaps another hold spell or even hit him with a ray of enfeeblement. If we kill him he might turn into a Death Knight.

Subject: Report............

I'd guess Grace would want to report her finding to the Captain and a few crew members first, maybe on the bridge to confer with Tess on the microwave signal.

She could go there and then call the captain. With Asente with JC he would bring Angela and Catie and leave Steph to keep an eye on the groggy Seth and the brothers. Grace could then tell Jon and the others about what she found on Asente and a quick show of the plans and other materials.

After that could be where Jon calls JC and Asente back the galley.

We keep the Asente information to ourselves during the meeting and Jon shares it with JC later. I'm guessing the manifest one of the documents Grace brings and shares that and the plans with everyone to figure how to move about the liner.

If you all think it's right I'll have Tess suggest that Angela make some notes to herself about Asente and brothers. Angela has got to be getting tired and we will need her refreshed when the plan takes action. Maybe Grace and Tess will bring her back up to speed if and when she sleeps again.

I'm good with it.

My head was starting to hurt anyway.

So Tann if the party is checking the maps and models do we find anything to help lead us to the Queen? Is her prison marked? Does it show us the halls so we can pick our next move? Can Barreel give us any information about where he just traveled?

Subject: HP..........

Hmmmmm.... when I copied the HP status Aliya was down to 20 so that's where I started. If she was back up to 52 then we can adjust and save a some healing spells. She will be back to 100%. That puts back 2 CLW and 1 CMW.

I had counted the 2 CLW from Raynes bow. So give those back to Rayne.

So Cor used 2 CLW, 2 CMW and 2CSW leaving 0 CLW, 2 CMW and 3 CSW.

Sirene used 6CLW, 2 CMW and 1 CSW leaving 0 CLW, 2 CMW, 2 CSW and 2 Heal.

Rayne used 5 CLW leaving 2 CLW in Bow, 2CMW, 1CSW and 2 Heal.

Roan used 1 CLW leaving 1 CSW.

Weaver used 1 CLW leaving 1 CMW.

Roan, Lothor, Barreel and Sirene have 2 potions of extra healing and the rest of us have one.

So everyone is at 100% except the cat.

That's how I see it now.

Subject: Save 3 Potions

So if Aliya, Barreel and Rayne don't take potoins that will save three for later. Cor and Roan have already drank theirs.

So Aliya and Barreel could get added spells of 2 CLW and 2 CMW. (That uses up all the Cure light wound spells.)
Rayne gets 3 CMW. The cat gets 1 CMW instead of LOH.

This leaves Aliya at 52HP(-3) and the cat at 33HP(-2) every one else is back to full.

I'd suggest leaving Weaver, Rayne and Sirene each with one CMW.

I'd also suggest giving the fighters the extra potion so Sirene, Roan, Barreel and Lothor have 2 and everyone else has one.

Subject: The Math........

Ok here's how the potions and spells go.

We had 15 potions of extra healing. Used 5 of them and passed out one to each member and two to Sirene.
Take Potions:

Ranyne casts 6 of 7 cure light wounds.
Sirene casts 5 of 6 cure light wounds.
Cor casts 2 of 2 CLW, 2 of 4 CMW and 2 of 5 CSW and lay on hand for Niamedris.

Final Hit Sums after healing:
Aliya: 71 (-4)
Barreel: 99 (-1)
Lord Cor: 85
Lothor: 98
Rayne: 76
Roan: 87
Sirène: 72
Ulthok: 64
Weaver: 94
Peri: 35
Niamedris: 33 (-2)
Xin: 40

Maybe Cor can do Lay on Hands to top off Aliya, Barreel and the cat.

Seeing that these Lizard Men haven't attacked us yet are we going to assume that they will? Anyone have knowledge to tell us they are a natural enemy?

We could just follow until they portal away or we find our next portal. If they break up enough stuff it could lead to the wizard showing up to stop them.

Maybe we direct them to the battle room, they might like that.

Subject: R & R..........

As the potion worked to restore the Halfling’s strength he could do little more than watch the events unfold. His wits solidifying he could sense a change in the room. Gazing back to where he had just escaped Ulthok now saw a tall fair haired female warrior take the attack to the robed aggressor. The female seemed familiar but more for legend then life. The robe was being beaten down and Ulthok realized somehow a Valkyrie had joined their cause. The battle held his gaze then some how the Robed one lunged catching the Battle Maiden through the throat killing her. A scream came from Ulthok’s left as the Valkyrie fell. There standing over his friend Weaver was another female figure but there was no doubt this was the Goddess Freya herself. The tales of the Valkyrie’s vengeance stood nowhere near the fact.

The Goddess raised her hands and a force of magical energy unseen lashed out consuming the Robed creature. In seconds it was gone… totally and utterly destroyed. The force of her killing blast so strong the whole party around the former creature were flung to the ground landing hard. However, the Winter Wolves were not so lucky as the energy struck them and as had been with the Limper so it was with them. Ulthok could not remember even seeing such raw power.

The Goddess then turned to take on the other aggressors in the room but they were gone. The creatures including the yellow faced beings vanished in escape. Only the Knight was left and he wisely dropped his weapon and assumed a submissive posture, dropping to his knees. That good sense saved his life as the Goddess turned away from to whisper to Weaver before she too vanished.

Ulthok now felt Peri’s confusion, he emerged from the table and his small companion fluttered in the space where other Robed being had once stood. “ me.” The mage walked back to where the party was rising from the floor and the faerie dragon floated over and perched on his should. He could feel her embarrassment as she realized what had happened to her and touch of shame for what she had done to Sirene. “Don’t worry,” he nuzzled back to the pouting familiar, “the others understand and I am glad you are safe again.”

Rayne and Roan had already started the healing process and Ulthok knew they all needed to heal and quickly . Approaching the the party, “All gather now and let our healer assess your needs. Seeing several of the group on the ragged edge, even the battle hardened Dwarv showed serious signs of harm. “Cor and Rayne down a potion of extra healing to gain strength to start healing the others. Aliya and Barreel drink um if you’ve got um too. We should then be sure distribute the rest of the potions so we all have one going forward, Sirene you should take any extra..we need you healthy.” The party then started the healing process as Rayne, Cor and Sirene made sure they each were healed. They then began moving among the party casting small healing spells at first in an assembly line fashion allowing each to stabilize before the next healer moved up. The healers seemed to sense the need of each and cast such to bring all the members back to as near full health without wasting spells.

As each gained the strength they needed some started check the room for clues to help them decide their next move.

Ok, thinking caps back on! Got a bit more infor to nudge this forward. So as I see it the delivering of Lillianna safe and sound is our way in. Basically Step 1.

Not really trying to keep the Princess in the dark, but need to keep Asente in the dark or at least misdirected.

I see three option for the transmitter:
Get Asente to turn it off.
Let Grace play with it. (She might find the frequency useful to trace more information.)
Send it into the black.

We will review the cruise ship layout and find out what we can from Lillianna and Asente about location of interest. (I didn't the docking bay where we would enter the liner.)

Maybe Grace could access its system to find who is where and what's planned where and maybe the likely location of the Colt. She loves to hack systems so.

This would give us better targets on board, access and egress plans and perhaps the emergency get out plan.

The party stepped through the portal and as Dudley pared to enter a dark room that would alight itself and reveal rows to bottles. But instead they stepped into a light room with smashed bottles and a strange smell. "Oh may, I bet this really ticked off that wine ninga." As they move forward Crow took charge. The cleric her the ranger say,"Alôndas, Dudly, Gamard seek cover as best you can, be ready to support as needed.” Dudley thought to himself finally a order that makes sense.

With that the Cid headed for the down staircase. "The best cover is away from up there."

Dudley felt lucky he had been given a choice.

Subject: Working On It..........

Based on the Spells left post as of this morning I'm working a spreadsheet to show points needed and points available.

I should have something up soon. It is 3:04 EST now.

I'll post it here.
Aliya: 55
Barreel: 52
Lord Cor: 43
Lothor: 28
Rayne: 44
Roan: 61
Sirène: 0
Ulthok: 28
Weaver: 0
Peri: 0
Niamedris: 22
Xin: 40 / 0
Total 333

Cure Light Wounds x17 For 136
Cure Moderate Wounds x11 for 132
Cure Serious Wounds x10 for 170
Cure Critical Wounds x3 for 81
Heal x2
Potions of Extra Healing 15 @ 27ea for 405
Now To figure the splits.
Aliya, Cor, Barreel, Rayne and Roan all drink a Potion of extra healing for 27HP.

Aliya gets 3 Cure Lts (1 from Rayne, Sirene and Cor)
Barreel gets 3 Cure Lts (1 from Rayne, Sirene and Cor)
Cor get 2 Cure Lts (1 from Rayne, Sirene)
Lothor gets 2 Cure Lts (1 from Rayne, Sirene & 1 Cure Md from Cor)
Rayne gets 1 Cure Sr from Cor.
Roan gets 2 CSW (1 Cor, 1 Sirene)
Ulthok gets 2 CLW (1 Rayne, 1 Sirene & 1 CMW from Cor)
Niamedris gets 1CLW (Rayne) +1Lay On Hands(Cor)

So that is spells used:
Rayne's 6 CLW
Sirene's 5 CLW
Cor's 2 CLW, 2 CMW, 2 CSW and 1 Lay on Hands.

We redistribute the potions so each of us has one and Sirene gets 2.

This leaves Aliya down 4HP.
Barreel down 1HP.
Niamedris down 2HP.

So how is this?

Is that place one that occurs outside normal time? We don't have the luxury of taking a rest to recharge spells, remember there are other parties trying to get to the Queen too. We don't want to be trapped when the castle falls.

But if time is suspened and we return a moment after we leave then it may work. The casters could leave while the fighters stand guard.
Aliya: 75 / 20
Barreel: 100 / 48
Lord Cor: 85 / 42

Crow's comments had made Dudley feel a bit less than regal. The Cid crawled off the throne and joined the party as they decided to move on. The cat had said how he'd taken the portal behind the throne and ended back in the wine cellar, so they were a little surprised to step out into the first room they visited.

"Well this is lucky that we are someplace we know, too bad we don't need a cleaning." The started to follow the little silver pod around the room.

He heard the converstion lean toward going back through the same portal they had used,"Oh, so we'll start this ride all over again." The cleric stopped his amazement with the cleaning michine and again followed the party.
