So what if............
I could play both Cids, if we past the middle we should go to the end.
Wembley is a bit more manic but I could try.

Topic: TPK as a Solution Subject: Well..........
I have never tried to DM so I don't have an actual point of reference as to the amount of work that goes into game planning. If it is a canned game then that looks like basiclly following the script. But the DM choses the options or rolls the options.
Now that said, I have played enoung with good DM's to realize they do put time in and that is how they have fun. I can see it looking like a waste of time to them after all that reseach and planning.
But what if the DM just got goofy too? Not a drive toward a TPK but play out the events and make the player roll each of the hits and damage against themselves. NO DM ROLLING AT ALL!!! They roll their own fate. You could have the player across the table roll the character hit and damage. Maybe have each player roll a D20 and low roll does the rolls that round.
So no one rolls their own attacks and such.
The option for the DM could be later to allow a do over and start back where they were after this madness had taken them.
It was all a dream from the swamp gas!!!

When listening to the audio the "thee" and the "sin" sound closely alike, the "n" is just shifted. And the "te" sounds "tay".
I took it the audio was supposed to be Spainish.
So the "Voyeurs of the Roc'n-naughty" is good with me!!

After casting a heal on the ranger crow the Cleric looked around. Clutching his new prized staff Dudley made his toward the cabinet the with the glowing portal above it. Seeing Wembley Dudley handed him the Golden Statue, "Here you can have this..it may do something for you." Looking up at the portal, "We need to go through there and get out of here."
Dudley then climber the case and jumped through the portal.

Topic: Voyages of Rocinante - Serenity/Firefly RPG Subject: No Thanks..........
"Captain Havelock." The Shepherd said, "I read about him and a group of transport crew that found against a mercenary band. " Was that you people?"
Asher felt a bit of pride that folks knew they'd done right by the passenger, he hoped others might cotton to help folks in need.
"We lost a good man, truth of the matter was, we did what had t' be done in order t' survive. Heroin' usually get's ya killed. It doesn't keep yer ship in the sky an' yer crew fed." Wyatt kinda answered as the kid felt, but what Shepherd said next bothered him.
"Mighty brave of you. Standing against so many for the lives of a group of people you never knew before you rescued them." He continued, "Were you well rewarded in the end?...I would have thought that after saving so many rich and generous folks that you be livng large and putting the fright trade behind you?"
Now the kid felt a twinge of anger, what's a Shepard asking about rewards for? Weren't they all about doing good for the sake of doing good? Asher was about to call the Shepherd on reward comment but he caught Wyatt's glace to Willow and held his tongue.
Mr. Morningstar went on to tell about where the 42nd was resting and it didn't sound good. Uncleared territory for graves would make it dangerous to take Havelock there but that's what they all agreed to do. The explained it may take some time clear things enough to get in there. The Shepherd then offer that Mr. Morningstar should get them a free room in town.
"Perhaps Virgil could get you a few complimentary rooms at the hotels in town? Or we have a five star Noodle House in town?" Shepherd Carson suggests quietly.
Wyatt answered for them.
"Actually,Stickin' 'round a bit might provide me an' mine with some time t' line up our next set o' fares. ..An' while I appreciate yer offer of hospitality, it ain't necessary. Thank you kindly all the same. You can drop a wave our way when it's safe t' take Havelock home. 'Til then, I don't plan on muckin' about much so you can find us back at our ship if'n ya need us."

Yeah a few of these would good. White Phosphorus grenade?, flares?
The gear chute would be useful but for non essential item in our case. But I'll give it check to see what might be good in the sand. The rest of you can suggest stuff too.
Maybe some snow shoes or skies. Motorcycles would just bog down.
BTW - Cool post Gruggmaster!

Topic: Weird War II Q n A Subject: A Little Home Made...........
Well if we get shotguns and shells then there would most likely be rock salt at the air field for ice removal. We can load our own during the flight by replacing the pellets with rock salt. Should be able to do a few dozen rounds in six hours.

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Again Subject: Watch................
The shaman was pleased to see that the team had done well to meet this attack. He gave a quick prayer of thanks to the children of mother earth for granting him their blessing to drive the flames over their foes. As the vermin shrieked and ran Ody watched carefully to see if any of remaining enemy fled. With the three tunnels leading out of the chamber surely there were traps but the fleeing rat-men would know the safe way out.

Topic: Weird War II Subject: Time...............
Capt'n Luke finished up, "Alright team, we have one hour before we're expected at airfield 4. I will see all of you there in thirty minutes, fully prepared. Bring whatever you can to destroy or repel this ancient Egyptian vermin. I'm sure they're still in there somewhere. They always are. Bring ammo, bring light. Bring your guts and bravery. Let's go!"
Jack could see the team starting figure up what extra things they could take along, "you folk don't get carried away adding extra stuff to your kit. You get that over 95 pounds and you risk not getting up off the ground. I don't want to see no broken legs cuz you want to carry extra salt. The Colonel ‘l bet more than likely'l have a supply chute ready for us, so just take what'cha can carry."
Like the rest of the team Doc kept a kit ready, a few minor adjustments to sure everything was secure and he was ready to head to the field.

Topic: Weird War II Q n A Subject: Hehe..........
Just sorts got them Hellboy movies in my head.
Doc is going to warn folks about trying to pack too much gear.
Think 95 pounds max, Doc don't want to fix broken legs from hitting the ground with too much stuff. I would guess that there is gear in seperate chuted payloads. That was standard operating procedure, carry what you could and follow your extra down, usually they had red or dark chutes so you could track them better.

Just saying, what better place to tryout experimental stuff then with a group that most likely doesn't exist on record.
But we play by what the GM says. Just thought a little Rule #1 bending to our benefit might be fun.

Topic: Weird War II Q n A Subject: Night Drop?
It wasn't said, but are we doing a night drop? That is are parachuting in? Just to help the mind set on what to get ready. Packing for a jump and packing for a truck in are different.
How about us having them experimental guided chutes?
We wouldn't do HALO jumps but still special chutes with pull cords to help direct flight. Early training used the main straps to guide left or right. A cord to a top opening to increase drop speed by letting air pass through quicker and then close it off to slow the drop. Maybe a special shape, two pocket chutes seamed in the middle to allow sharper left or right directions, they could called Angel Wings. Night chutes would be black or dark green.
Gee... I'm starting to sound like a gear guy...lol.

Topic: The Gobber King- QnA Subject: Healing.........
Well Dudleys heal on Crow may get him down to Light. So if Gamard heals Mal then Dudley has one spell left and can heal Gamard. That should get us all down to just light wounds.
Crow - Critical wounds
Gamard - Serious wounds
Dudley - Light wounds
Alondas -Light wounds
Wembley - light wounds
Mal - Serious wounds
We could use some R&R to finish healing and rejuice our spells. Should try for the Spa?

Topic: CWWLLO QnA Subject: One more round..............
So 20 wounded and 5 managed to avoid the hurt but will have to run around the wall of flames. that means one more combat round to finish them off. I would think we should allow some to escape and watch which tunnel they take. I'd bet they know which isn't a trap.
Hi big "T" nice to see you back at the Inn. Check with Alacrity on possible game openings.

Topic: The Gobber King Subject: Once More...........
Shinara granted Dudley's prayer and through his touch released a warmth of healing into the Cid Wembley. As the spell coursed out of Dudley the colors returned to his world.
Watching as the last of the Iron men finally falls the little sees the human ranger standing over it tire, hurt and bleeding. Lowering the staff Dudley stepped over to Crow and once again called Shinara. The cleric still another prayer for healing. Placing a hand on the human ranger Dudley asked for healing for his friend.
