Saw this thread, read it, and out of curiousity in regards to the situation, went ahead and read the game and Q&A threads for Fractured Shards before I opted to put my two cents in and here's what I've been able to come up with - please correct me if I'm mistaken and/or missing something here:
It seems the "being berated every other thread" bit stems from a bit of OOC back and forth between Markus and Suicidolt regarding Dron (Markus' character) addressing Sui's character as "Beau" when the character had been using the alias of "Smith", right? Honestly, that was the worst bit I could find and, from what I read, hardly equates to getting berated every other post (in fact, the whole exchange seemed to span maybe a total of 6 or 7 posts on the last couple of pages). If this is the bit that's got your hackles up, Markus, let me offer up an objective point of view if I might.
In those posts, your character did refer to sui's by a name which that character hadn't offered up. Yes, the character's real name is "Beau" but he's been introduced to your character as "Smith", where the game is concerned. (No problem... this kind of thing happens and sometimes it takes a little nudge by another player or even the GM). Anyway, it appears Sui tried to correct you with some OOC comments on a couple of occassions...whether you missed the "nudges" or simply "forgot" about them in the course of you next posts is irrelevant (and, again, has happened to everyone on occassion), whatever the case may have been there, Dron continued to call Beau "Beau" instead of "Smith" for another post or two and, then Sui got a little more emphatic about Dron not knowing Beau's name, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah...
Now here's the rub - as I've mentioned, misunderstandings and such happen is games fairly regularly but, in most cases, they can get resolved fairly quickly via PMs or OOCs between the players involved, a nudge from the GM, or whatever and then are soon forgotten and sometimes even laughed about later. In this case, however, it looks like yourself and Suicidolt had your OOCs regarding this only in the game thread (I didn't see anything regarding this issue in the Q&A and I'm not privy to any PMs that either of you might have sent) and then BAM! a standalone thread dedicated to your anger/irritation gets posted completely outside of any thread related to the game?
Ettiquette faux pas, my good man. When you have a conflict with another player in a game, you're welcome and enocuraged to work it out between yourselves via OOC comments in game, a back and forth post-a-thon in the Q&A,or if all else fails invoke the GM (Jozan is the games GM, right?) and allow him/her to settle it. What you do not do is post what equivocates to an tantrum induced rant for the entire Inn to see and read... if every Innmate here had 'berated' you or something, maybe I could see a thread like this going up but, honestly, this appears to be a tiff between yourself and one other member... Hardly worthy of a "Dear Abby".
IMO, both you and Sui could have handled the situation a lot better and with a little less emotion and it likely wouldn't have gotten this far.
*climbs down from soap box*
Okay, now, having preachified and such, I'm just going to leave you with this and then zip my lip. There are 1500 plus Innmates running around here and it's not outside the realm of possibility that you're going to have "compatible gaming styles" with every last one of them... when you find yourself in a game with another Innmate who, for whatever reason, gets under your skin or torques your knob,don't get frustrated with the whole world and go storming off in a huff. Resolve it with the other Innmate as best you can, have your words with that individual in private and, if nothing else, just don't play with them anymore. *shrugs* Easy as that... there's no need to let an argument with one person get you so frazzled that you make the sorts of generalized comments you made in the opening post of this thread.
Blah,blah,blah.... Shut up Eol!
Kudos to Tann, Drizzt740, Bez, and all the rest who tried to help smooth this over, too... We're a family, here, after all and, as far as I'm concerned, that's what sets the RDINN apart from every other gaming site out there... let's all do our best to keep it that way, huh?

...I kind of thought I'd answered this one before but I guess I haven't, eh? Hooodathunkit? 
Anyhoo, if I remember correctly my first character ever was an AD&D thief (not rogue, mind you, I said thief) named Shadowjack... that was like 30 some years ago so about all I can tell you about the character is his name, the fact that he was a thief, and that he likely died a horrible, horrible death.
Discovered Gamma World shortly thereafter and played a mutant mountain-lion... that's a different thread though.

Can't remember who originally said/wrote that but, would you believe that that's what it took to "snap me out of it" so to speak?
Sorry I've been away for so long, folks, and I won't bore you with the details - simply leaving it with the fact that between work, stress, physical and "mental" health issues, I've been very bad by way of keeping in touch, posting, or anything much beyond working and feeling miserable for quite some time. Blah-blah-blah-yackity-schmackity-and-a-tall-frosty-glass-of-orange-juice!
Anyway, whatever it was seems to have finally broken and I can feel myself becoming more like "me" again. Hopefully this means that I've screwed my head on in the right direction at last and can start to be the Innmate that I once was.
My sincere apologies to all of those I may have seemed to have abandoned and good gods somebody give me a hug!

Dash couldn’t help but choke on the mouthful of sandwich he’d just started chewing on when Asher volunteered to stay behind on Frisco and play sheriff for a spell. Sure the Kid was hell with the firearms and such, more than a match for any one or even two or three of the locals hereabouts in a stand-up fight, but Sam figured he knew a little better than Asher that, in places like Frisco, real, honest-to-the-fuzzy-wuzzy, stand-up fights weren’t typical the order of the day… An’ what wit’ th’ Kid leadin’ wit’ his heart one minute an’ his pecker th’ next, who’s ta say what kinda ruckus he might dust up without someone close by ta wipe his nose an’ cover his keester?.
He tossed the half-eaten sandwich back down on the platter and, wiping his mouth on the back of his hand, stomped over towards where Wyatt and Willow were already doing their damndest to get Asher to rethink his decision. “Ma ain’t gonna be none too joyful ‘bout this, di-di,” Sam smirked at the Kid as he leaned in between the Cap and Miss Wil, “an’ I’d try an’ talk ya outta this m’self if I figgered ya’d listen some. That’d be sump’n like G’en ho tze bi dio se, though, huh?” The pilot hooked an arm around the Kid’s neck and dragged him closer; “So I reckon I’m just gonna say two things to ya. First, mind the crossfire an’ the crotch crickets whilst yer down here playin’ big damn hero, an’ second, if’n ya end up doin’ somethin’ all-fired dumb an’ wind up gettin’ yerself kilt, Ash, I’m personally gonna blister ler lily-white ass, Sheriff or not, dohn ma?” With that, he shoved away from the younger man and punctuated his sentiment with a punch to the arm.
“Ain’t no talkin’ to th’ Kid, Cap,” Sam shrugged as he passed back between Wyatt and Willow and ambled towards the door, “Wu toh wu now an’ all that crap.”
Rocinante, Dirt-side, Frisco
Sam figured that he was glad that Trish couldn’t actually scream when she got the news about Asher volunteering to stay behind and play lawman whilst Roc was sailin’ the Black to Beylix an’ back. If the woman had had the capacity to have let a wail rip, though, Sam was sure it would’ve shook the whole of Frisco and got Asher beatin’ feet back to the boat, pronto (and like would’ve got the whole crew an invite ta never burn atmo over Regina again). Since the woman wasn’t capable of screaming, though, she grabbed her shotgun instead, and stormed towards the airlock.
“Whoa, Ma,” Sam exclaimed, pushing away from where he’d been leaning against the bulkhead and imposing himself between Trish and the airlock. “Runnin’ down th’ road wit’ yer roomsweeper ain’t gonna do you or the Kid no good,” he said, meeting her half-angry, half-heartsick gaze evenly as he laid one hand on her shoulder and gently pressed Bessy’s muzzle toward the deck with the other, “Won’t serve no purpose but ta get ya even more riled up, if it don’t get ya plugged full o’ lead, an’ give Ash a right fine case of the guilts.” As the older woman gave in and let the barrel of the shot gun get dipped into a less threatening posture, Sam’s hand slid from her shoulder and pulled her into a warm embrace.
“Comes a time when a fella’s gotta do what he conjures needs doin’, Ma. You know that much’s I do,” Sam said in a softer tone as he felt Trish’s grip on the shotgun loosen, his other hand lifting from the wavering barrel of the weapon to wrap around the silently saddened woman, “An’ no manner o’ persuadin’s gonna set ‘im off th’ trail once he’s firm in th’ saddle. Kid’s been lookin’ fer that kinda thing since he first come aboard an’, I reckon, the boy’s decided this here’s his thing to do, get me?”
He smiled a little when Trish nodded weakly and sniffled against his chest. He didn’t say anything more, though, nor did he release her from what he hoped was a comforting embrace until he was sure that she’d spent her tears and had composed herself enough to look at any of them again… she let him know when that was by finally returning the embrace and then soundly smacking the pilot on his backside. When she wriggled free of Sam’s arms, she wagged a finger at him as if to say ‘You’d better be right, Sammy! And if you ever grab hold of me like that again…’ The gesture was admonishing but the placated smile that threatened to crack the woman’s affected scowl belied her true feelings.
“Yeah, yeah,” Dash smirked leaning over to kiss the woman on the forehead, “If I’m lyin’, Ma, I’ll pull dish duty fer three months. Now, let’s you an’ me go find that bottle an’ have a drink ta wish th’ Kid well… whaddya think?”
