Topic: Hidden Corruption Q&A Subject: Poor thing!
I know what you mean. Even as I just started reading that post I was like, "Oh, Kith, you're gonna make things so much worse for yourself!" At the same time, though, I couldn't help but think "That's my kibibi!!! The heart of a kazari beats beneath that furless flesh and bone!"
P.S. Any results from Gib's detect evil bit that we should be aware of, yet? We're entering the chamber regardless but our course thereafter depends on what our battle-cleric is able to decipher, I believe.

Topic: Hidden Corruption Q&A Subject: Ooooooooooo!!!!
Great posts all around!
Loved the look into Gib's early years/education. Loved to hate the continued torture of my Little Kitten.
Got a really good idea of how to use that "stone sword handle" if we manage to catch up to Davena, too.
Running metrics and whatnot, this morning, but will endeavor to get a post going soon.

...I guess the last thing we need is a kazari engulfed in green flames with nothing to throw it at, huh?

So, my khatun, what say you where dousing some of the green torches are concerned? Yea or nay?

Topic: Hidden Corruption Q&A Subject: Eeeeeenterestink!
Very interesting!
I'm glad I asked but, at the same time, find myself filled with even more questions... imagine that!
Not going to ask our mage to burn a spell on a further inspection, though.
I find myself wondering if, just maybe, these green flames are affecting our vision, somehow... or even hiding something... and I'm almost tempted to try extinguishing one or all of them just to see what happens. That said, I don't know that such an experiment would even be worth the time wasted...
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
Edit: I know! I know! "Dangit, Eol! Why do you have to think so much?!?! Just get Ch'dau in there and get us killed, already!"

Topic: Hidden Corruption Q&A Subject: Just a quick one...
I asked our DM a question that had been nagging at me for a while about the green flames and his reply prompted this post. Going to wait for Midge's reply before Ch'dau decides to move on (or not).

Topic: The Corruption Hidden Beneath the Surface... Subject: Curiouser and curiouser
As eager as he was to find Kithran (and, perhaps, wreak some vengeance on D’hurgen’s minions along the way), Ch’dau found himself pausing just this side of the iron gate despite the fact that the thing stood ajar. A frustrated growl rumbled in his throat and his eyes narrowed as he glared into the squalid chamber on the other side. The strange, green light that bathed these chambers and tunnels had bothered him since first they had set foot in this unholy place. Seeing it glow slightly brighter, now, in the chamber past the conveniently unlatched gateway, the kazari realized at least one reason why the emerald flames bothered him so.
He turned his head to glance back at Midge. “Something is amiss with the light, here little one,” he chuffed, gesturing vaguely at the room ahead, “I cannot say what or why, but it seems to me that it falls over the place in a way that does not match the torches. I do not have the mind for magic that you do, my friend; is there anything you might divine from this strangeness?”

...one of Ch'dau's falcata is named "fa'hili" which is kazari for kindness.
JK Kazari don't have a word for that.

Our DM is benevolent and wise! Our DM would never do anything unexpected that would lead to our certain doom! Plus he's sooooooo darn good lookin'!!!

Gotta say, I was expecting worse from that one... and am rather glad I didn't get it just yet.
Whew!
Edit: Gotta wonder, though, did the preist "forget to properly latch the gate" or, rather, did he leave it ajar intentionally? Hmmmmm...

Topic: Hidden Corruption Q&A Subject: Hey, now!
Ch'dau just LOVES Kith's stabby nature! He's not 100% appreciative of her more "dishonorable" tradecraft at the time of KCandK but he's certainly impressed by her ability (and willingness) to spill the enemy's blood.

Topic: Capasha - Audalis Campaign Setting Subject: I'm sorry...
...didn't mean to be a tease.
If it makes you feel any better, I am working on finsihing up "The Awakening of Khr'a" and putting together a rough draft of what will become the Capasha article for Audalis. Those are helping me keep my brain from melting in between all of the "annual training" refreshers that I have to do, today.

Topic: Capasha - Audalis Campaign Setting Subject: Minor updates
As my exploration of the Kazari has continued with "The Adventures of Kith, the Cat, and the Khatun," I have been making a few updates to previous posts in this thread. Most notably, there have been several words added to the Kazari lexicon on the first page. Nothing major, tbh... a few "common words" and the cat-folk name for "dagots." Just figured I'd post and make any of you who are following along aware.
Hoping to do some more substantial updates to other sections, soon, and possibly get an actual Audalis article written up in the near future.

Looks like it might be a matter of a "bad link," from what I'm seeing. On most pages, the "more..." link points to www.rdinn.net/last_topics.php. However, within various articles (such as those in the Audalis>Religion category) the link points to www.rdinn.net/audalis/371/last_topics.php.

Yep! It's a bit ridiculous! Three huge pots of chili going all at once, not to mention the 8 gallons of cider we doctor up and have at the ready. I'm considering investing in a food truck, anymore!

Topic: Olan's Award Winning Chili Recipe Subject: Yum, indeed!
Your recipe shares a lot of ingridients with the chili that we make for our Halloween escapades, actually. I'll have to get it written up and share with you at some point.
Funny thing - when we originally started doing the Witchworks Halloween, our recipe used 4 lbs of ground beef, too. As of this year, we're up to twelve, I believe.
