Also, Josie, just for reference, the CTO's office, Security Dept/Brig, Ship's Armory, and Phaser Range are all located on Deck 5. Auxiliary Weapons Control systems are on Deck 6. Your personal quarters, I believe, would be on Deck 3

... I don't think that a Steamrunner with a standard crew compliment could support 10 fighters along with the various shuttles and such. There would have to be concessions made in other departments to make it work (paring down Science to a minimum, ditching labs in favor of expanded flight ops and personnel, etc). That might work for a patrol/escort situation, of course, but I think the Hexatris is more in the role of support and science platforms. I'd imagine she's more in line with one of the ACTD layouts.

Edit: From what I can tell, that spot on deck 6 where the fighters are housed in the deckplans you posted would be where cargo bay 2 is located on a standard Steamrunner.

Doubling back the way they had come seemed terribly inefficient but, as loyalty to the Computer was paramount, Ammpe didn’t bother to say so. He imagined that, at best, it would only create more dissention amongst the team and, at worst, see him summarily executed for treason… Leading a team isn’t exactly leading, I suppose, he thought to himself as he trudged along ahead of his teammates, More like following and being followed in exchange…. The term cannon-fodder came to mind, too, but he quickly dismissed the thought.

Soon enough, they had reached the blast doors, again, and found an older model jackboot awaiting them. “BEE-DEE-BEE-DEE-BEEP," it intoned through a dented speaker. “Greetings, Team MAO-17859 Dot R-2. I am Jackie the Jackobot. Please allow me to escort your superior intelligences to the PLC distribution center.”

Ammpe did his best to stifle an exasperated sigh. He didn’t mind that Jackie had offered to lead the way – robots were useful tools, after all, and, if the Computer had programmed this one to lead them to the PLC distribution center, then who was he to argue – he just didn’t like the bot’s tone… not at all… and his temper started to boil. “Mind the sarcasm, you tottering scrap pile,” he drawled at Jackie even as he motioned the bot to continue, “and lead on.”

It just occurred to me, as I was updating Tochi's roster entry for the Peregrine, that he has a sister who, at the time I originally worked up his profile, was a cadet at Starfleet Academy. I'm thinking that, perhaps, I may just bring her aboard the Hexatris as a newly commissioned ensign... Any thoughts or objections?

If not, I'm thinking she'd fit best in either OPS or Sciences... but, at Captain Butterfly's discretion, I can work her in wherever you may prefer.

Edit: I went ahead and started a roster entry for her in Sciences as a Mineralogy specialist. That said, Rer, if you prefer her somewhere else, just let me know and I'll move her around.

ST: Hexatris is currently recruitng HERE, and the Peregrine crew will need a few new hands once ST: Edge of Duty wraps it's current chapter... recruitment for that one is HERE.

Hexatris still has a lot of senior officer/department head slots open... Peregrine has slots open, as well, though I'm not sure if any are dept head types... we might need a Chief Medical Officer but I'm not sure.... Either way, you don't have to play a dept head, really... always plenty of "junior officer" slots and such if you'd rather go that route. I'm never opposed to wiping out an NPC entry (or, for that matter, turning an NPC over into a PC) in my departments in favor of a "live" player.

...as a test, I added a character to the Hexatris' Engineering roster and it posted up with no problems.

It's been my experience in other sims that, if you forget to select your character's department, rank, etc before you hit submit that the roster entry doesn't appear to post. If you think you might have forgotten something like that, the entry might still have been posted to the database but is invisible on the ship's roster page... Best thing to do, in those cases, would be to maybe contact Olan and have him see if it might be floating around in limbo - he can probably rescue it, if so.

Edit: Missing entries have been restored to the roster by the grace of our webmaster! Magicman timed out, apparently, and Keeper didn't have a department specified.

Ignore what the critics and hardcore fanboys say about this one, folks! Venom was a fun and surprisingly funny movie.

Yes, it takes Venom out of the Spiderman universe and throws away the whole "the-symbiote came back to Earth from Battleworld as Peter Parker's new, black suit" thing. Yes, it takes Eddie Brock out of New York and moves him to San Francisco. And, yes, the plot was kind of thin in places buuuuuuuuuuuut still a very enjoyable action/comedy/superhero flick. They could have tacked another hour on and I'd have sat right there and watched it!!!

I'm hoping it makes enough that they get to try, at least, one sequel... The mid-credits scene sets up a fantastic antagonist for one, IMO.

There... my two cents... spoiler free. Go. See. Enjoy!

Well, I don't think that many in the party could walk away from this crazy place, in good conscience, without trying to figure out where these zombies and ghouls are coming from (and/or whay they seem to be swarming around Crandel), at least. Ch'dau's thoughts are leaning in that direction, anyway. Investigation and research aren't really his forte, of course, but if the wiser and more scholarly members of the troupe are so inclined, he'll do whatever he can to assist in that matter. As to Davena and Gorn, I'm not entirely sure that the kazari cares too awful much about them... really, for all he knows, Aranwen had a grapple with the woman and disappeared into the night (Maybe they snuck off before/during the assault on the inn? Maybe they got munched trying to do so? Maybe they had something to do with it?)... aside from that, unless something else of note regrding the pair is called to his attention, he's unconcerned with their fate at the moment.

I didn't even think about that! I could totally see my way clear to put on a junior officer or background character for the sake of RP, here! I'll wait until the dept heads and such fill up, though, and go from there where deciding on a character is concerned.
