Subject: Whoo Hoo going to kill the *itch!!

With the repairs all but complete, thanks to Bowman’s help, Wolf was happy to say that the two of them had bonded. What was the old saying in times of stress people of like beliefs bond in the face of adversity, or something like that. With the Rocinante once more moving and this time back towards Regina, Wolf could not wait to get into Brigitte’s face and let her know she had messed with the wrong ship.

However truth be told it was a wise bet that Wyatt would beat him to her. Wolf still could not believe in some ways that she was capable of this, after all he had lived in the same town with her, lusted after her somewhat too, but sabotage/possibly murder. Well no matter Rocinante was his ship now and he would be damned if he would let that fracking whore get away with this attempt.

Getting back to his cabin, after thanking Bowmen for his help, he pulled out his cleaning kits and began the slow loving cleaning of his machine pistols and shotgun. Like the ship these three were his loves and what better way to use them then to fill that liou mahng full of holes.......

Ok my post is up hope it works (Fingers crossed )

As for your idea's Ody they are good but that would have meant waiting on Van to agree and she already stated why her leading was a bad idea. So not blowing off your idea's justy getting things rolling once more.

Also Alacrity is Eol replacing Dreen or you looking for a new person??

As the group and the German women prepared to leave Romo quickly made his way outside and signaled McGuinness to join them inside. With everyone dressed in German uniforms, or some semblance of, they piled into the officers car and with Brutal behind the wheel headed towards the castle.

The trip through the winding hills and a strangely empty village was time consuming but thanks to Brutal’s ‘lead foot’ they reached the first enemy checkpoint without incident. Dressed in the Major’s uniform and being the only one among the men to speak fluent German Romo knew he would have to take the lead. Grabbing the real German Major’s briefcase he readied it to remove the paperwork permitting entrance to the castle. However he hoped he could bluff the car’s way past the guards without using them as no one had, had a real chance to look them over. Turning to the captain and the rest of the car poolers.

“Ok Sir hold the Lugar on Doc and keep him covered. You do the same McGuinness but use the MP40 say nothing but if things start to go south watch for my signal and then turn those on the guards.”

"Halt! Ziehen Sie an der Seite und präsentieren sie ihr Papieren sofort!" (Halt! Pull to the side and present your papers immediately!)

Romo, with one of his 45’s drawn and hidden from view, replied in what he hoped was his best hurried arrogant Nazi officer voice that would broke no delay to getting his “wounded” comrade to a hospital quickly.

"Schnell!!, oeffnen Sie das Tor, und warnen ihren Kontact das fremde Soldaten im Dorf von Barovia sind.Ich habe einen verwundeten Soldaten hier und brauche einen echten Arzt nicht dieses amarikanische Schwein"

(“Open this gate at once, you there Private contact your headquarters and warn them that there are enemy soldiers in the village of Barovia. I also have a wounded man here and must get him to a real doctor, not this captured American pig!!”)

Let me be another of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.

So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.

Also keep that towel handy as Eol sometimes forgets who he has licked and then licks again ...............

Maximus, along with the rest of his companions had checked out pretty much most of the interior floors and area’s of the Monastery pausing to allow the rest of the party to spread out he continued to follow them and stood blocking the South door. Looking behind him to the south to prevent the possibility of a rear attack, a quick movement caught out of the corner of one eye, was confirmed with both.

Then as suddenly as he had seen it, it was gone but the ex-Gladiator had no doubt at what he had seen.

“Jal?…JAL!” Maximus called first in disbelief and then in surety.

Unable, and perhaps unwilling, to stop himself he made a move towards where the figure of his lost friend had appeared then disappeared..................

I just don't have the time or the desire for a 4th game as I'm in 3 rt now and quite happy with them.

Though I throughly enjoy the 40k world and all its cool stuff, for rt now I'll just stick to the books .

Good luck with the game and if one of my 3 games dies I'll check back to see about joining.

If you reread my question I asked who VOICED him not who PLAYED him .

So my question still stands and I'll add a hint.....

Who voiced the Witch King of Angmar in the first and third films but was in all three films in another character role.

And I'm sorry to have to do this but the answer to "who fought in the battle of the 5 armies" is technically incorrect as the Goblins & Worgs were considered 1 army.
The 5th army that many forget were the Eagles!

My question then in the movies who voiced the Witch King of Angmar??

“So Sir Knight where do we investigate next, North or East?”

"I don't care where we go... just no more spiders... Not yet..." Answered Adrian in a low cracking voice from behind Gladiator and Knight. After a moments thought Arien did speak

“Let us move North, Rather not have any surprises come from behind as we move further.”

As Char followed by Dapple once more took the lead Maximus moved to his normal place to the groups rear, the best place for the semi-giant. With the door to the north already opened and images pouring into Maximus’s mind, clearly being sent from the lad’s small dragon, the party slowly moved through the door. The mental images drawn from his own mind told him that though Sunset could not feel danger or intelligence to the north, clearly it was felt by the small dragon to the east. This ‘thing’ whatever it was possessed a childlike but deeply evil mind. This mind whatever it belonged to was scared of the group like it has never felt before.

Maximus upon seeing this could not help but smile in a cruel way. Be scared creature, be very scared, we come to end you. pausing to allow the rest of the party to spread out he followed and stood blocking the door, looking behind him to the south to prevent the possibility of a rear attack.

Once the all clear was given and they moved forward once more, so to would he...............

Am I or am I not dressed as a German officer? and if not then what am I dressed as and what is my role?. Other then Van I'm the only one who speaks fluent german and I can see how it will go at the front gates. I really doubt the guards if they are SS will tke the word of a strange lady they have never seen before even if the officer is bleeding and if he is not known to them or stationed at the castle they may not let us in until they get permission from one of thier own officers and that will take time, time we may not have.
I asked this question last week and have been quietly waiting for an answer.

Subject: Trilogy in need, indeed :)

Ok once again I’m looking for one player, female, to join my 2nd Edition AD&D game the Trilogy War to take over an open character.

Now I know we have a lot of new people here looking to get into a game so please if you love a good long lasting high LvL AD&D adventure, over 7+ years and counting, with good role playing, a good story line, and don’t mind taking over an existing character then the Trilogy War is the place for you. The game is run using as I said above 2nd Edition rules but as I do most of the rolls, being very knowledgeable of said rules is not required. If you have a least a rudimentary grasp of any edition AD&D rules then that should help you play in my game. All I ask is for at least 1 post per week or a good reason why you were unable to post and we should get along fine. Now of course during the week your welcome to post as many times as you want to in the course of character role play & interaction, as I try to stress both storyline and party interaction over everything else.

Ok then below is the open character so take a look and post any interest and a sample of your writing style below.

BACKGROUND
The only child of Selene Melete and Eldare Candarae, Sirène was born deep within the ancient forests of the elven lands. The old faerie blood flowed strongly within her parents, and so was it passed on to her. Sirène spent the earliest years of her childhood carefree and unaware of the legacy of her ancient lineage - an unbroken line of the old faerie blood. It was when she was only 10 that the sight first came to her - flashes of the future, shadows and visions that only she could see. Her mother, Selene, quickly took notice and it was not long before mother and daughter traveled into the deepest recesses of the ancient forest. It was there that she first came before her own grandmother, Mnemosyne, the voice of the Queen of Heaven - The Great Goddess. Sirène was brought into the sisterhood of the Queen of Heaven and it was among them that she began to see that the Goddess was all and all was of the Goddess. As the she elf learned the mysteries of the Old Ways so did she acquire power. Through the sight she harnessed the power of the unseen world. After nearly a century Sirène, like her mother and mother's mothers before her, was wholly initiated into the sisterhood. As she swore to serve the will of the Great Goddess, Mnemosyne herself etched the mark of the Queen of Heaven onto her skin.

Sirène remained among the sacred groves for many decades. She danced underneath the stars and walked softly on the earth. With occasional exception Sirène abstained from flesh food and hard spirits, for both could dampen the sight. Rarely did she leave her sylvan home, and then only to see that the will of the Goddess was done. Away from the lands of the sisterhood many thought her a witch, fearing her primal ways and her power to wield energies both divine and arcane. Sirène let them believe what they wished - for so long as the Old Ways remained, even if only in the remote wild places, then the will of the Queen of Heaven would be done. She sat with noble and peasant alike, pulling strings to ensure that the sanctity of the wild places and the Old Ways remained in the world.

And so things were and remained.

Change came as she approached the end of her second century. Dark visions haunted her reverie, at times waking her violently from the restful meditation. Not since the earliest years of her childhood had the sight come to her unbidden - and yet the visions could be naught but the sight. Though she could not yet make sense of these visions Sirène knew she could not remain idle. And so, letting the voice of the Great Goddess guide her, Sirène Talà Melete left the sacred groves without a thought of when she would return.

APPEARANCE
Exoticly beautiful, even for an elf, Sirène is darker than most elves. Her skin is smooth and of a coppery hue. Long black hair falls freely to the small of her back in a thick mane of loose spiral curls. Her dark hair frames an ageless face with finely sculpted elven features. Her almond shaped eyes are a brilliant, incandescent aquamarine. An iridescent line tattooed in blue runs vertically up the center of her forehead. The phases of the moon tattooed in the same blue ink run down the center of her back She is slender and stands at an average elven height.

Sirène moves with grace and maintains a near impenetrable aura of serenity. Within the sacred groves of her homeland she wears simple flowing gowns made from finely woven linens, silks, or wools. She adorns herself with stone, wooden, and ceramic beads strung into bracelets and necklaces. When traveling she wears a white robe of the archmagi, the robe is of layered gossamer and splits at both sides of her hips falling just below her knees. A thin tunic of unbleached lined and indigo dyed woolen leggings tucked into dark grey boots are worn underneath. She often wears a hooded cloak woven of wools dyed in different hues of indigo.
