As Talas stood quietly having said his piece the ranger Char did ask what each of them, clearly meaning the 3 newcomers, had to offer. Talas at first had planned to remain silent, let his skill in battle speak for him, he in no way needed to boast on himself yet something made him step forward, perhaps the look the Knight had given him on what Talas had thought was a complement as to his being the leader.
"I bring to this mission very little other them myself and my sword “Serenity“, she who unlike many others has never failed me. Once I was a Champion of the Empire’s pits and the skills I learned and horned there kept me alive, I tell you all now that no matter my personal feelings, I will fight and die beside you and never betray your trust if you give it."
Stepping back he said no more and did with a smile take the money offered as a retainer by Granitecrusher.
With money now once again in his pocket a good meal was first on his agenda so as the others took their leave he returned to his Inn’s common room and a meal he did order. Having very little gear except his sword and all the rest in the back pack on his back he had no need to ready anything and could for once relax and enjoy a meal. After wards he would retire to his room and sleep, setting the locks and the bells on the window and doors to warn him of any intruders as normal, Talas had learned long ago to never take his safety for granted and he would not start now.....

To the west as I told Bullseye to go there as to not be seen from the Hole.
Also I hate to be a pest but is Kaelyn still in the Game?? or not I personally have not heard from him or seen him on Yahoo Messenger since just after the Inn returned. If he is gone we need to replace him.

Ok nice to know we did not kill him over his first post 
Next issue, Brom have you heard from Raven or Kaelyn and what are we going to do about Jazzer?? We might as well drop him now that we have Blammm in the game as the netrunner is pretty much out of the game.
Also do not forget to add Blammm to the first post as a player/character in the game, would hate to forget about him

Welcome Blammm to CP sorry about the possible misunderstanding but you may want to think about a new character if you are unwilling to edit your 1st post. Per DA’s ingame post and here in the Q/A if you raise the Uzi towards me she will kill Coyote.
If that happens it will also most likely change my post and Sui’s post as if she kills you and Spiff still tries to stand up I will have to edit my post to say I shoot him in his kneecap. I was going to post that I blew his kneecap away to stop him from standing after he posted that he just got up and moved out of the van, but seeing as he told the truth I let it go as I did not want to kill Sui’s character.
In the end its all up to Brom and what he posts but it’s a good bet that he will follow along with DA’s posts and Coyote will die.

Take Blammm serious I would like conformation from Brom that he is actually in the game. No offense intended to Blammm I just want to be sure he is in the Game.
But DA is very correct once the uzi was raised Blammm would be dead so if he is a player I too believe an edit may be needed.

As Croaker listened to Spiff reply to his gun forced questions, the Nomad watched Spiff’s body language for any of the many tall tell signs that the fixer was lying to them.
For the first time since the fixer had opened his mouth upon meeting them, though by far he still not trust the Fixer 100%, Croaker believed him. Putting the Armalite away he motioned to Peacekeeper and Firewind to do the same.
"Ok Spiff sit back down, its all good, I believe you, thanks for the honesty as I really did not want to kill the both of you."
Croaker waited while the Fixer and his body guard returned to seated positions and the tenseness of the moment subsided before speaking again.
"Ok now that we are all on the same page so to speak lets not waste any time on worrying about what just happened and get down to business. You say Mery Deth is not here so where is she then.
Croaker hoped the Fixer was a professional as he himself was and would be able to forgive and forget at least until the run was over. The Nomad having the lives of 4 other people in his hands had to make sure of their relative safety and had done what he felt he had to, to get the answers needed. As far as he was concerned the gun pulling on each other was over and now was the time to finish the run as a team.
If Spiff wanted to bring the matter of Croaker having held a gun on him after the run well that was then and Croaker would deal with it at that time....

There is no way Sui that you can take out myself, Peacekeeper and Firewind and I am sure if Kaelyn was here Preacher would also have drawn his gun.
So be the Deal maker as Greenleaf says and just tell us the truth prove to us we can trust you thats the bottom line.
Draw any weapon and the character of Spiff dies.

Talas had waited quietly as those in the room said something or said nothing as to who would lead them.
It came down to the choice of Granitecrusher as to who among them would be chosen.
With a little bit of a surprise to the ex-Gladiator, Arien
the Knight was the one so chosen as Talas would have bet on the Dwarf Kilgrim.
Talas gave the Knight a thorough once over noting his weapons and armor and the confident air surrounding him. Pointing to Arien he spoke
"He’ll do as leader, so as the Corpie says when do we leave...."

Sui if Spiff goes for his gun your dead, I will not hesitate to put a few slugs in you as my gun is already pointed at you.
So for the sake of the game and you continuing as Spiff, allow the bodyguard to be disarmed and just tell us the truth and everything will be happy, happy, joy, joy.
Also there may be more guns on you then just mine and even if you kill me Spiff, You and your bodyguard in the end will still end up dead.

Croaker having positioned himself across from Spiff and Spiff’s bodyguard watched as the fixer started making phone calls. On the first call with his phone to his ear he seemed to be only listening as his lips did not move. Thanks to the noise of the heavy rain Croaker was unable to hear what if anything the fixer was saying but the nomad could see the Fixer was unhappy with what he seemed to be hearing. Then the first call was over and Croaker could tell by the way the Fixer seemed not to meet his eyes and kept focusing on the floor of the van, that he seemed uneasy. (using perception & awareness/notice)
Finally Spiff looked up smiling and did speak
""Let me try that again."
Then it was back to his phone and another call he did start.
The whole time since first meeting Spiff, Croaker had been playing the Fixers first words over and over in his head
"You can save your time and energy. She's not here. I need to make more phone calls, but I've already got my men looking for her, and I've got connections at the top of the Wild Things. I can tell you right now, they know that something's up."
And he always came back to that last part "They know something’s up" Well just how in the hell would they know that, Croaker was in no way a trusting soul ,except for Jaimy, and this struck him as a bit of loose lips sink ships thing.
Could the Fixer or even Spring Heeled Jack be playing them all for fools. Well time to find out and get some answers and so he took it upon himself once again to get the ball rolling.
"Bulls Eye lets get rolling head to the next possible local on Mery Deth."
Turning to Spiff as he seemed to finish a third call Croaker looked behind the fixer as if seeing something.
"Crap what’s that"
and without any hesitation or indication of his thoughts, as soon as all eyes did turn to look he quickly pulled the Armalite pistol from his holster and causally pointed it right between the fixers eyes.
"Firewind would you be so kind as to relieve Mr Coyote of his weapons while Peacekeeper keeps him covered. I really would hate to have to kill him at this time.
Ok Mr Fixer something you said has been biting my ass and I want some answers.
Just how did the Wild Things know something was going down. Who is your connection inside the Wild Things and did you tell them anything about us.
You better tell me a good one if your planning on lying to me, for if you do lie and I pick it up, Jack or no Jack I will casket your ass where you sit. Do you understand me."
Croaker kept his gun pointed at the fixer waiting a reply he hoped would not be a lie, if he did lie, then Croaker would first knee cap him and then work his way up....
