Subject: More Info and game start coming soon
Ok we have our last player. Kyle's son has agreed to take on the role of Jak Lauren so once he has created an Avatar and gets set up we will be only days away from starting.
One thing everybody, please remember to read the above first post to familiarize yourselves with the world your playing in before we actually start as it's not a nice one.

Subject: A Warning
Setting up such a game with such religous overtones is risky as not everyone here at the Inn I'm sure worships the same as you.
Now I'm not saying don't create and run the game just be aware in this type of community with people from all over the world coming and going it could be real easy to upset someone's belief's and cause unwanted drama.
Best thing I can tell you is as Gboy said, outline exactly what you plan to do with this game and just how deep you plan to go into Christianity and the Bible, then submit it to Olan for his approval.

Subject: Not a bad Idea
However no sci-guy we need a replacememt in the combat catagory. Right now we are only 5 soldiers, a civie (Though she does kick butt) and a German white coat.
A German soldier though could bring more ingame drama to the game then Alacrity may want as the Sarge won't trust him one bit, but its still a thought.

Subject: Well I like this game alot
So I have to go against Ody and Almerin and say why we don’t just switch out Brutal for another soldier. Say in the course of roaming the castle we find that another of the Paratroopers from our plane survived and was captured before the castle went totally Sci-Fi.
We then lose Brutal rescuing him and he get's Brutal’s gear. In that way we keep the game running, honor YeOlde by making his character the hero of the day and we gain a new player. I really think YeOlde would hate the fact that the game ended because of his passing as he told me more then once he enjoyed Trilogy, Castle and Rocinante the most of the ones he played in.
However like Almerin again said it’s really up to you Alacrity....

Subject: Welcome
Let me be another of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.
The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.
So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.

Yeah maybe ok I'll bump him up to 5'0 even and drop his wieght to 135pds. Everyone check your finished sheets out to make sure you like it and get back to me. The only player we are still waiting on is Kyle.
Also I posted a pick of the main three characters, Ryan, Kristy, J.B on the Game thread page and one of J.B on the character thread. The pics are thanks to YeOlde and the pic of the three comes from an insert from the first Deathlands book, same name as the game title, and hopefully he can find some for the rest of the group so I can post them too.

As Romo followed by Brutal did a quick yet thorough search of the room a clatter of steps could be heard coming closer from the large stairway to the north. Suddenly a lone man, balding middle age, very thin with a white lab coat, stained with blood and dirt comes running down the stairs. He sees you and screams, quite girlishly and then raises his hands in the air.
"Nicht schießen! Ich bin unbewaffnet."
Do not shoot! I am unarmed! he shouts and then screams again as he loses his footing and tumbles down the stairs to the floor below in a cacophony of screams and thuds. As Brutal moved quickly to cover the stairway, Romo moved to help the Captain get the German up and moving, calling out orders as he did so to the rest.
“McGuinness cover that area to our South, Miss Greta would you please keep an eye on Doc”
As the Captain roughly shoved the man into a chair Romo felt the need to caution the Captain's use of force.
“Easy Captain, he could be badly hurt and we need what he knows”
Looking at him, the Captain pointed his finger at the lab rat and ordered a search.
“Sergeant Romo, search this man please.”
As Romo searched, the Captain spoke directly to the German, the sergeant seeing that the man did not at first appear to understand English translated the Captain’s words into German.
“You’re one lucky canary, mister, to run into us. We can give you some protection, if you can give us some answers. First of all, what was your job here?”
(OOC: Ok not sure if he does or does not understand English but I’ll continue to translate unless he starts speaking English at which point I‘ll move to stand with Brutal watching the stairs and other entrances into area

It must be nice, this innocence of youth. As someone who fought and was wounded fighting for this country we live in to give you the right to express what you have posted here tonight I differ in my thoughts then the two of you, Takley & Riaucard. If not for men like me and those that died on this day 10 years ago and the millions that died over the centuries fighting to keep this country safe you three might not be here today.
Your opinions are your own and I do not begrudge them to you I’ll just chalk them up to the arrogance and fickle nature of the young. For us older, wiser ones, 9/11 is a date none of us will ever forget and that’s the way it should be.
