Hammer don't wait on me to post. I've got some PM interaction going on with Keeper and Mischief to add to my post before I actually post it in the game. It's gonna be a long one that's for sure.

Silver raised her eye at the other Rogue's worry and gave him a slightly mischievious smile.........

As Silver watched Steel make his way back to town with the Paladin’s retainers she knew for the time they be apart she would miss him but leaving the retainers to go back on their own without some form of protection was a no go and Steel had volunteered. She knew she’d hook up with her friend again soon enough. Then it was onward to find the Goblin hideout and to remove that cancer from these woods. However they encountered a different force entirely, a unit of Bugbear’s.

Hornet quickly surveyed the Bear’s encampment and returned with his findings.

"There are bugbears ahead, Appears to be three of them, two by a fire and one taunting a very large otter strung up in a tree. Nothing too weird there. Now, this next part I am not sure I even believe. When the bugbear growled at the otter, I assume taking to it but I don't speak bugbear, the otter seemed to talk back, but I don't speak otter either. The bugbears might be in league with the goblins or at least know where the goblin lair is. I suggest we attack them while we have surprise using ranged attacks on the fire and hopefully use sleep on the one by the otter so we can question it. As for the otter, I say we at least keep it alive to see what it is. I've never seen a talking otter."

As Silver listened to Hornet talk she knew what her part in this would be.

“Ok if the rest of you can deal with the Bugbear’s, I’ll rescue the otter and make sure none of the Bear’s kill it.”...............

After all the shit that happened with the Yakuza, be stupid to drop out now. I'm still in and limboing out.

@Dragonmist, Mischief is a Half-Elf, not a Tiefling and I look forward to RPing with you also. 

(OOC: I decided to change Silver’s name to Mischief to kinda make her mine in the sense of getting a feel for her and building a different personality then what the actual Mischief and I had planned and to poke at the real Mischief in a fun way. I apologize for the confusion if any)

For this whole time Mischief had been quiet, using her ability as a Rogue to hide out of sight within the stone remains of the building, her bow cocked and ready to fire. As the large armored horsemen, a Dragonborn and his retinue, approached, it was clear he was some sort of Knight or Nobleman and Mischief smiled when it was revealed he was in fact a Paladin.

As thunder rumbled overhead the rest of her group turned and headed back to the old building Mischief came out, bow still in hand, arrow still ready to fire. Nothing better then making a point the wiry Rogue thought to herself.

Approaching, she smiled at Steel and the rest, then asked of Soledad.

“Everything ok?

Getting a nod from the Elvin Wizard, Mischief turned, nodded a greeting to the Dragonborn, and returned inside. Stowing the shortbow and her arrow she sat quietly in the corner as Steel came over to sit next to her quiet as always. In the course of the next hour they were joined by yet another Elf, supposedly just seeking shelter from the rain, but Mischief moved herself further into the shadows of the building, it’s small space quietly becoming too crowded, one of her two shortswords unsheathed at her side. A questioning look from Steel made her shrug and then smile mischievously.

The rain came and the party was for the moment unsure of where to go next but in her way she kept on the newcomers both Elf and Dragonborn

Hi everyone I've decided to drop Steel as with Mischief leaving the game, the interaction her and I had planned, is no longer there. I'll be honest, without that interaction, I'm just not into him and such my lack of posting in the game the last few months. Hell again honestly I'm really surprised Nomad did not drop me like I did to so many other players in Trilogy after this long without posting.

However a bright spot, or well at least a candle glow, I'm going to instead take over Silver and run her from this point forward. After I get a reply to my PM to Nomad I'll have a post out for her.

As Steel listened as Dok and Hornet talked he wondered what had happened to the goblin that had gotten away from them.

“I think you need question Goblin on where his friend run off too so we go there and kill them before he bring back more.”

Moving closer to the two prisoners he gave them his best smile and started playing with a dagger.

“Or I can just play Stabs and Cuts to see how much pain they can take before I kill them.”

Leaning in close, another scary smile, Steel held the gaze of the lead Goblin prisoner, making sure he was getting his point across.

Steel, the warforged fighter of the group, left the ranged fighting to his comrades. Having only daggers to throw and none of them magical in returning all he could was wait for the remaining Goblins to come close enough to attack. The Warforged fighter knew as the last combat ready Goblins were looking around for where the initial attack had come from, the party would still get a second round free.

Continuing to stay in front to protect Soledad from any attacks that might come, he held his weapon in readiness, no mere Goblin would pass him and harm the mage leader of the group. Looking over to Silver he saw that she too lacking any long range weapons was also ready to face any of the Goblins in melee. Seeing him looking at her she smiled and nodded her ability to see this fight through.

Should we not send some of the team, those that do not go with Charlie, out to pick-up Cipher and Guardian? Then after that they head over to the Hieghts and do recon and to just watch the place while Cipher does her tech stuff.

We have two vehicles and it only makes sense to me that both things get done. Charlie's Tong meeting and an onsite recon to prep to breach the Hieghts.

Also Brom here's a good question, How will Charlie's meeting with the Tong and my meet with the Yakuza effect team over all. Tong and Yakuza are not friends as far as I can recall in the present day.

The list is given to Charlie the big solo moved over to sit by Echo, taking her hand

“You ok Echo you’ve been awful quiet so far, E buck for your thoughts?”

(ECHO) “I don’t know what’s wrong I just have this feeling like meeting with the Yakuza might be a trap, now just when you’ve found Vegas and will be leaving right behind you to go pick him up. Plus the team’s going to be split up again and we know what happened the last time”

“Don’t worry I think it will be ok I have a gut feeling that things will fall in the team’s lap in a good way”

(ECHO)“Ok then you go and have your meet and the rest of us will go get Vegas.”

“Promise me one thing”

(ECHO) “What?”

“You work with Ghlahn as a team member, not as a Cee-Metal. Can you do that for me? I’ve already trusted him with my SMG and that gun means a lot to me. If I’m willing to trust him so can you”

(ECHO) Her gaze moving to look over at the cyborg she catches his eye and at least for her, something passes between them. A nod to him then back to Casino.

“I’ll try, I give you my word.”

“And that’s good enough for me.”

“Okay, listen up,” Luther steps forward and holds his agent up. “Casino, you’ve got a chip to pick up and a cab to catch, like now. I need your dog tags ID before you go. I’ll send directions to that agent—” Charlie points towards the device in the solo’s hand with his own expensive agent. “—where you can grab your language chip. The rest of the items will have to wait until later.”

“Understood”

Moving to Charlie’s side he gave the fixer his tag number then grabbed the suit and moved into Charlie's bedroom to change. In only a matter of minutes, the big solo was dressed and ready to go, his Gibson combat gear packed in his large tote and he was moving towards the door. For once having shaved and showered he actually found himself blushing at a received a whistle from Echo as he moved back into the dining room. Smiling at everyone he moved to the door.

(OOC: Ok just a small co-op to let everyone know Mischief is still in the game, and she will not be going with Charlie, she has told me over the phone)

~Biting my nails, sweat running down my back, foot repeatedly tapping the floor in front of me. Scared, wide open eyes searching the darkness, heart beating so fast as to break open my chest and see the exit of an alien creature. Lost in my thoughts, on the edge of going insane. As the others of the group rested the big warforged kept watch in his mode of sentry. In truth he enjoyed being in such as he was the first to “wake” and be ready for a fight.

As it become late in the night, around 2am in the living people’s time, the rain yet falling, Steel caught sound of someone or something coming down the road from the top of the ridge and headed towards the bridge and the party’s hut. It was clear to the warforged they would certainly pass right by. Staring upwards and listening intently the warforged was not sure exactly how far away they were but still at least a few hundred yards away. Listening as carefully as he could with the system of hearing crafted into him Steele could not determine what or how many were coming. For sure was a group – almost certainly 6 or more as they variously singing, laughing and talking loudly. However it was not a language he had heard before for sure it was not common.

Moving quickly first to Soledad’s sleeping area, trying to be as quiet and gently he attempted to wake the group’s Elf leader.

“Soledad, wake up, We have people approaching, at least perhap’s more, I will go and wake the rest also.”

Moving next to Silver, Hornet, Dok and the rest, he woke them all quickly till all stood ready and waiting for what was to happen next, a nice greeting or a battle to the death…..

Over hearing Fixer and Ghlahn’s short conversation, Casino offered his help.

“Well we know the sec company that works for Petrochem, which we know is a subsidiary of Daltdom, are the assholes that have Vegas, so try starting there and see if there is anything special. Any hints they have tie’s in with Mafia, Triad, Yakuza, or other powerful corp relations. Like you said best to work together with Blossom as she might catch something hiding in the shadows that you might miss. I’ll be sure to ask this Akagi guy I’m meeting with if they know something about Daltdom and Petrochem.”

Moving over to sit by Echo he takes her hand.

“You ok Echo, you’ve been awful quiet so far, e’buck for your thoughts?”

Ok is there a possiblity inside the enclave to borrow a car? I need a secure vehicle to store my combat gear up so I don't have to return to the enclave. Maybe one of the teen's has a car and wants to make a few euro's and can watch my gear?  Plus at 3.00 per mile the closer I can get to the meet before I hire the cab the better off I will be cred wise afterwards. 

I'll look over the pages you suggested and see what cab company would be the better one. However in the end its really how Brom decides to get me to the meet. Thanks for the info.

So are they remote or controled by an AI robot or can I control them?

My original idea had been to rent a car or car and driver from within the enclave and have them or I drive to a safe underground garage and eithier park or have the driver wait for me there with my full armored clothing. Then from the garage hire a cab to drop me off in front of the restaurant.Then after the meet, if I walk away, I hire a new cab roll back to the underground garage, change out of my suit and take the rented car or car/driver to the Temecula Heights to meet up with the rest of the team if they had not already rescued Vegas.

I'm open to better options but I thought driving up to the restaurent in a cab was a good for image.
