As the large solo watched Starlight's AV rise into the air a part of him had hoped he'd be on it with her instead of being left to face the cops.
Oh well C'est la vie
Laying back against the curb he took the 44 and laid it by his feet so as not to give the approaching cops any reason to shoot. Then the police were there and it became a case of handcuffs, Miranda Rights and a very very painful trip to an ER room. His pain editor now disabled by the police Casino fell into a semi-state of concisousness hearing words spoken but in to much pain to respond or even care.
"Keep your hands where we can see them. Get down on the ground, face first and put your hands on the back of your head."
"You have the right to remain silent, and not answer any questions. Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law. You have right to an attorney,"
"Car Alpha-Delta-Two-Five-Three-One enroute to Night City Regional Hospital with a suspect in gang violence. ETA ten-minutes,.."
A few miles away, the squad car pulled into the Emergency Room delivery lane, Casino in the back trying to tough it out yet still only semi in the present. Led into the hospital through sliding glass doors, the bright lights of the facility wash over him bringing him back to the present and forcing him once more to become aware.
"We need a doc to look at his arm before we book him," the older officer informs the admitting nurse seated behind the bulletproof glass administration booth.
"Have a seat over there." The nurse is an older black woman with a bit of weight sitting upon her bones and blond-dyed hair cut short to her scalp. The sight of a bloody, leather-wearing, cyborg doesn't seem to phase her.
"All right," the older officer turns to Casino and directs him to follow further instructions with a wave of his hand. "You've been a decent fellow thus far. Let's not ruin things."
Seating Casino between them, the two officers make sure to take chairs further away from the general populace of injured and sick people. There's no point, after all, in making the citizens of Night City any less comfortable than they already are.
"Well," the older officer begins once they're seated. "How's that arm holding up?"
"Oh you know officer, it's only a flesh wound" Trying to sound cocky yet the pain clear in his voice.
"That's good." Shifting in his chair, the cop looks up a little at the giant solo, his gaze severe. "You've got a long night ahead of you that could turn into longer days to come. There's three dead, I saw an AV taking another wounded away from the scene—rest assured we'll find out who that was—and reports were that bullets were flying all over the place. That traffic accident wasn't nothing to ignore neither. You got an explanation for me?"
"Honestly Officer it was being in the wrong place wrong time kind of thing. I got caught in the crossfire. That guy that got air lifted out in the AV? Well I watched him piss those boosters off by flirting and dancing with one's girlfriend. I guess she liked him or the way he was dressed as it was pretty high class. Guess the guy had money to warrant an AV pick-up right."
Casino paused a moment to get into a better less painful position before he continued.
"Well after, oh I guess thirty minutes, the two stopped dancing and he made his way to the bar while the booster girl returned to her friends. Almost at once one of them started in on her and she screamed at him and walked away. The guy and the others followed her and grabbing her they left the club though they gave the AV guy a really angry look. Well by this time I needed some air and a change of scene so I headed out to the front of the club.
As I was debating getting a taxi or finding a public agent, AV guy comes out and within seconds all hell breaks loose and bullets are flying. Only thing I remember is getting hit in the arm bad and the pain kicking in and dropping me to the ground. By the time I was able to get a grip on the pain and see what was happening it was all pretty much over and the AV was arriving picking up the guy and then you guys were arresting me."...................

Ok gonna go with Boo Boo and play it safe and switch to Pittsburgh for the late game.
Question, what happens when someone doesn't pick a game before it started? The person loses that point.
However I do have what's called a "1 time oopsie bonus" If you were to forget to pick all your Sunday games due to RL commitments or just forgetting to do so you'd get a 1 time bonus of 8 points. That also includes your Thursday and Monday picks if you did make those. Now that bonus is not given if you pick any Sunday games.
Examples: You pick Thursday, forget Sunday, yet get in Monday's pick. In that case you'd get 6 points free plus whatever points you got for Thursday/Monday.
If you forgot the whole week. Thursday/Sunday/Monday then you'd get the free bonus of 8 points. It basically a free bonus of half the 16 games played that week.

Feeling the pain and slowly crawl of numbness in his sides Tomiki knew the damn creature had surely poisoned him. No matter the creature would pay for pulling him closer with its life . With a cry of pain and anger the elf assassin raised up both his Ninja-To's only to bring them down seconds later into the creatures brain. However as the firebug died ,it's poison did not, the toxin rushing through Tomiki's body and causing the Elf himself to fall to the floor and start to lose conciseness.
His mind a swirl of past and future the shrill call of his name brought him back to the present.
"TOMIKI!"
Opening his eyes, his mind still in a daze, a women kneeled before him touching him, a warm feeling coming from her hands..
"Kaiyo?" His mouth asked the question before his brain relayed that girl before was not his murdered lost love but the parties healer, Máiréad. Looking at her with thanks he accepted her help to get him on his feet, clearly she had used her magic to remove the firebugs poison from his veins. As he made to move back to his feet his eye caught a strange symbol, no a brand much like a mark on cattle to show ownership, on the firebug he had killed. On his feet again he moved to the second firebug finding the same brand. Moving back towards the steel doors he turned to Máiréad once more.
"Thank you for your healing, I stand once more in your debt. I apologize for calling you another girl's name."
Bowing to her he made his way to join the rest of the foursome by the partially opened doors. Moving up the stairs to the doorway, Tomiki could see an area of the door had been somehow melted. He could see a small pool of some type of liquard by the door but what caught his attention at once were the two egg's within the room.
Egg's what the hell? Firebugs were created not born.
Moving quickly Tomiki moved to the eggs and made ready to destroy them.
"Whatever these eggs hold be it Firebug or something else they must be destroyed. The two firebugs we just killed were branded as if owned like cattle. If somehow they are being breed or someone has found a way to create more of them, then these too must be destroyed."
Looking to the other three he waited a few moments for any responses from them.
((If no cries of STOP! Lol I'll bring my swords down on first one then the second hopefully destroying them both. Below is a pic of the symbol ))

Subject: Keep attacking same beetle.
Tomiki moved quickly to take on the half-baked beetle and attacks with his swords. The first attempt failed to move pass the armor but the second scored well and deep. Green ichor and goo ran down his blade and oozed out of the wound to the ground.
As the second of his Ninja-To's bit deep into the creatures side the Elf knew that these created monsters could be hurt. Reversing his attack he lashed into the same beetle as before, both swords hoping to strike true and again deep.

As Casino leaned against the front wall of the club he knew thanks to Vegas's and Fixer's underestimation of the boosters that with the arrival of the police the run was in jeopardy. If all three of them stayed they would surely end up spending the night in jail at the very least. The worst of it would be the loss of their personal firearms as no way would they get those back from the cops being better then what the cops themselves carried. Seeing Vegas crouched beside Starlight, the Sinatra looking solo unharmed, as was the techie himself there was no choice in what would need to be done to keep the run active. Looked for Fixer and catching the techies eye he mentioned him over.
"Ok cops get here and run is done pretty much for whoever stays.. Now me I'm shot up bad and need a medic, pain blocker gonna quit soon. Starlight is hurt too so pretty clear I'll stay with her till her AV gets here and pulls her out. I figure cops will get me patched up. You and Vegas need to get out of here to keep the mission on track"
Moving to Vegas's and Starlight's side with Fixer behind him he sat down next to her pushing Vegas to the side. Taking over the care of the lady fixer the big solo spoke to his partner as he did so.
"I got her, you and Fixer need to get out of here now and get back in touch with the others. This run is still on choomba no need for all three of us to get jailed. No bullshit this time Vegas, the run is first priority like always" Turning to Fixer he handed the techie his MPK, it's extra ammo and grenades and the Armalite he had used to deliver the headshots with.
"Now take these and you two get the f*** gone!"
((OOC: If Vegas or Fixer refuse to leave he'll draw his second Armalite and point it at them to force them to leave. As mad as he is right now very good chance he will shoot, no kill shots, but he will cause them pain with grazing hits.))
